Unfortunately there wasn’t much I liked about this hotel property at all! The bathroom is a disaster the shower spray the mirror and flooded the floor, when we arrived there was no coffee K cups in the room the room was hot and was told they would turn the air conditioner on after arriving back from dinner the room was still hot and was told they would turn the air conditioner on before going to bed we call down and they said they would turn the air conditioner on and to our dismay in the morning after sleeping with the window open all night with the bar down below with loud partiers smoking and loud laughter there is no air conditioning!

My stay at Post Hotel Weggis

A lovely hotel with surprises in terms of the restaurant (a heritage fine fine) and amazing views of the lake... Great location right in front of the bus and ferry stop and tourism office. The family running it is clearly visible and a special commendation to William at the front desk for his cheerful and guest oriented service and smile.

Overall, the hotel is good and the scenery nearby is so majestic. The hotel staffs are very nice and mindful with the customers, always showing up with a smile. For my trip, I've booked 2 rooms, one for me and one for my parents. They both said their room was perfect. Unfortunately, a towel and a pillow in my room were torn up and stained with something. However, I still recommend this hotel!!

winter 2 night visit

Beautiful view, very friendly staff, central location, has the original Stubbli (pub equivalent) from the original hotel building as part of the new hotel building, lovely atmosphere

Gem of a hotel...

Just superb, a charm of its own, boat jetty right out front of hotel, bus stop as well, views priceless, breakfast like a top class hotel...great staff, great room...

Nice lake view. Convenient and clean. Excellent breakfast. Even though the sound insulation of the balcony door is bad, it didn't bother us since the street was quite at night when we were there. It was a good stay.

Nice hotel but noisy and smoky

The rooms have a lot of road noise. And there was a problem with smoke from an outdoor area just below the rooms. Otherwise it would have scored much higher.

The stay was good. Our young receptionist on evening shift was extraordinarily pleasant and very helpful. The room was nice but the bathroom situation was different. Not what we're use to to. No actual door but a sliding clear door with a curtain and full mirror opposite the hall wall. Great view from our balcony but noisy on the weekend with people partying in the streets.Conveniently located across the street from the boat docks.

Conveniently located

We stayed at the Post Hotel in July, 2017. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was delicious and varied. We had a view of the lake and it was beautiful. The tourist information building is located directly across the street as is the bus stop and the ferry. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Such a shame. No care taken in this hotel

Family room. Located right next to church - the bells rang every 15 mins all through the night. I am half Swiss and I love the bells but this was crazy with two small children! The room was tatty and the mirror had been smashed and left with broken glass there. The bed sheets were full of holes and bit ironed. The staff on reception were unhelpful and looked moody all the time. Breakfast had flies and wasps on the food and again everything seemed and effort for the staff. Such a shame as it's in a perfect location

Dirty, False advertising, No Wifi

My family of four booked a "family room" at the hotel for two nights. The room was falsely advertised. Our room had a hard couch with a sheet on it and two futon mattresses pushed together as the "queen bed". Bedding and pillows were the bare minimum. Bedding was dirty. Shower head did not work. Bathroom was dirty. There were noticeable dirty fingerprints on the lamp. The Wifi ONLY worked in the bathroom. We checked into this hotel later at night given our travel times. It was too late to change hotels. We then booked rooms at another hotel for the following night. We could not stay there another night.

Great location but horrible service

The location is amazing looking over the ferry terminal. The service was just horrible. From the time we tried to book in and tgey couldnt didn't the details of the booking from hotels.com and had us sitting waiting with no time line to tell us wether would could stay or in what type room. We eventually got them to they had a smaller room we could use and got them to call us so we didnt just stay in the lobby. The breakfast was very slack. Lime tge kids hadnt prepared before. Things like no glasses out for juices no milk for cereal and tgey couldnt work out no beans in coffee machine and tgey didnt fix tge problems in 30mins we stayed for breakfast even tgey said they would.

Bugs, dirty dishes and soft pillows

Room was advertised with air conditioning and didn't have it. Instead the room initially allocated was full of bugs. We requested a change to have air conditioning in our room and we're given a room that had not been cleaned properly ( old champagne glasses left on bench) and was the size of a shoe box. There was no drinking glasses and toiletries were very basic. Bed and pillows were hard and too soft respectively and we couldn't wait to leave the hotel.

Nice stay, enjoy the awesome view from balcony. Very good breakfast. Parking 15euro is too expensive.

Location great but....

Even during off season once can expect a Level of Service - cleaning of room very poorly done, staff at reception with very Little knowledge of German, towels in Spa were not exchanged, Bar was closed, breakfast ok but bread not fresh. Room would have been nice and the Location is fantastic but seems as if the Hotel is not doing well.

Location is one thing but people who care make day

Great service, nice view

The hotel itself was nice, if a bit oddly designed; however, the view of the lake was lovely. We had a bit of a problem with the WiFi in our room, but after asking the front desk the staff member brought a WiFi extender to our room to boost the signal which helped immensely.

Very beautiful location and a good price

This is a very nice hotel. Breakfast was good but inconsistent, much better first day than second. Wifi worked well. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was little things. There is a coffee maker but only wine glasses that don't fit under the coffee maker. It said there was a minibar but there was not. The plugs were weirdly placed.

Lakeside luxury

This is a lovely hotel. I was there for a combination of work / relax. The room is well equipped for work (good desk, internet, coffee machine) and play (comfortable, great gym overlooking lake, pool - looks nice I didn't have chance to try it). DEFINITELY spring for a lakeside room, for only 20 CHF more, it's like having a whole other room! I even sat out there to work, as it's equipped with good table. What a view! Breakfast not included, cheaper to buy out (lots of cafes, bakeries). The hotel is right across from the boat dock which makes it very convenient for transit. Service of staff was excellent, very attentive and kind!

Excellent location ! Highly recommended !

We took the ferry from Lucern to Weggis and this hotel is right in front of the ferry station! We were greeted by the friendly receptionist especially Michelle who is patient and offered us directions to this new place. We stayed here for two nights and my husband found the mattress too soft for his back. It was late already and the housekeeper did his best to help to solve the solution without hesitations ! Wonderful staff :) Only thing is you can hear people talk when they walk by because it is close to ferry station and restaurants are closeby !

Amazing Room, Great Wellness, Kind Staff

So... we arrived and there was some confusion over whether I had cancelled my reservation or not, but the front desk staff was wonderfully accommodating and we got an amazing room... partial lake view was a joke, but the rest of the room was simply perfect. They even had a small dog bed, a dog treat and two bowls ready in the room for the dog... wonderful! Anyway, the room was spacious, the bathroom was incredible, and then we got to enjoy the sauna and steam room in the wellness area. No complaints, and I would definitely come back, even though it was pricey. That is Switzerland, unfortunately.

swiss bliss

First time we stayed here. 3 guys. We booked a triple room and was given two doubles which was excellent. A door joining up both rooms meaning two bathrooms and two balconies with stunning views of the Lake and the alps. The room was very contemporary with even a PS3 supplied. I pod docking station. Reception have different types of water to drink. The rose water & lavender water I would highly recommend drinking in the morning. The gym & pool & sauna was a very nice touch. I would recommend this hotel to lads or a couple or a business man or woman. They are very adaptive to the customer. By the way, they have the best beds in Switzerland. Enjoy

"Chill out in style" - yes its true!

Idyllic location with beautiful surroundings in a gorgeous little town. We had a wonderfully decorated and appointed lake view room in a seamlessly well run hotel. The gorgeous outdoor bar/dining area across the road on the lake was magnificent and we spent many hours there. Great staff and service all round.

das Abendessen war sehr fade hatte keinen Geschmack.Und beim Spa bereich hatte der pool kein warmes Wasser,uns wurde erklärt das seit Samstag ausegefallen sei sowas sollte nicht so lange ausfallen und sonst sollte man eine vergünstigung oder Vorwarnung geben. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr sauber,und ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Op onze reis naar Toscane een tussenstop gemaakt bij dit hotel. Prachtig uitzicht op het meer, goed eten en aardige bediening!

신행으로 루체른 반나절 여행하며 우연히 지나온 베기스. 이번에는 숙박으로 베기스를 묵고자 예약했는데 역시나 뷰가 너무 좋았습니다 !

Insgesamt in Ordnung

Das hotel war schön aufgemacht, das Personal spricht deutsch und ist freundlich. Das spa ist klein aber schön. Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet, nur etwas veraltet und nicht unbedingt sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr Mager. Ausserdem war das Restaurant total überteuert und das Essen dazu ungenießbar (durchfall ). Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, aber zum Normalpreis wRüde es sich nicht lohnen!

Tout aurait été parfait si il n’y avait pas eu ce problème de bruit, la baie vitré laisse passer le bruit extérieur comme si la fenêtre était ouverte , sinon rien a redire, hôtel très propre ,très confortable , vue sur le lac magnifique,

nice hotel

nice hotel, nice staff, good ratio services/price for Switzerland

Zimmer in einem schlechten Zustand. Tischlampe defekt, Vorhänge mit vielen Brandlöchern, Balkon nicht Sauber, keinen Aschenbecher auf dem Balkon. Im Restaurant war die Bedienung zwar freundlich aber man fühlt sich halt schon etwas unter druck gesetzt wenn man alleine im Restaurant ist und man ständig rumläuft. Das Cola Zero war abgelaufen. Statt ein neues zu offeriern oder es von der Rechnung zu streichen wurde einfach darüber hinweggesehen.

Disapoiting stay

Dieses Hotel verdient absolut keine Viersterne und ist schlechte Reklame für unsere Hotelerie. Wollen sich stark machen für Chinesenpublikum - was diese Leute erwartet ist skandalös! Lieblose Atmosphäre!!! Löcher in Vorhängen, Minibar leer, keine Gläser, leere Blumenkisten am Bakon, keine Zahngläser - nicht zu wundern, dass das Hotel trotz gutem Wetter praktisch leer war.

酒店位置太好了，楼下对门就是码头和公车站，阳台上就能看到湖，早餐服务也非常好！

位置好，景色无敌

酒店位于Weggis的码头对面，位置好。离Rigi的缆车站有一段距离，但走着过去，正好顺路把Weggis游览了。请了带阳台的房间，坐在阳台欣赏Luzern湖，超爽！房间不大，但安排了写字台，沙发等，显得有点挤，但很温馨。酒店有自己的收费停车场。

Der Hauseingang war verschert zu finden. Da das untere Stock durch Resterons gemietet wurde. Der Eingang war dann sehr edel. An der Rezeption hatten wir noch den Rest erledigt. Der Packplatz war eine Tiefgarage. Die war sehr eng da an manchen stellen Palletten standen. Es gab ein extra aufzu zum Hotel. Sprach mann musste erst mit diesen Fahrstuhl an die Rezeption fahren und dann umsteigen in einen anderen Aufzug um ins Hotelzimmer zu gelangen. Die Fluren waren sehr dunkel gehalten. Es gab vereinzelt Lampen . Die Zimmertüren wurden beleuchtet. Der Still des Zimmers kann man nicht erklären weil es von allen etwas gab. Leider hat das Bild überhaubt nicht herreingepast. Das zimmer war hell. Die Terasse groß. Das Bett war leider unbequem. Da man in zwei Einzellbetten schlief und durch die mitten von Holzbretter getrennt war. Die matratzen waren sehr weich. Die Sauberkeit war im Bad gut. Der Balkon, Fussleisten und beim Fehrnseher gab es Mängel. Das Schwimmbad wurde sehr dunkel gehalten.

bin regelmässig da; ziemlich wechselndes Personal; wenn man´s aber nicht zu genau nimmt und locker bleibt, dann passt alles.

Prima Hotel mit schöner Lage

Modernes Badezimmer, Pool warm aber leider abgedunkelte Fenster, wodurch kein Seeblick möglich ist. Frühstück gut, einchecken OK. da hätte man mehr Infos über die Parkplatzmöglichkeiten gebraucht... Parkgarage müsste mal wieder aufgeräumt werden, doch einiges an alten Kaffeemaschinen etc. drin.

E' un Hotel sul lago ma in centro città. Il personale è molto accogliente . La struttura e carna e ben tenuta. Giudizio positivo nel complesso.
