The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful but the room service doesn’t always respect the do not disturb sign and will not only walk in (more than once) whether you’re still in bed or in the shower but will insist to ask to clean the room even when you say no. It’s unfortunate because the rest of the experience, amenities, site, etc. Was excellent.

Overpriced Hotel with Hidden Extra Charges

First of all, the hotel was definitely not worth the money we paid. Many services that should be included in a five-star hotel came with additional charges here. For example, even if you are an all-inclusive guest, you still have to pay 5 euros for one sunbed on the beach. Access to the indoor pools and sauna costs 20 euros per person, and the water park is also an extra charge. They told us that beach towels could only be changed every two days. Moreover, one of the reception staff members (not all, but this one in particular) was extremely rude. For the price we paid, we essentially just got a bed to sleep in and breakfast.

Staff were great. But, the hotel is more like 4 stars rather than 5.

It was great

The hotel is in a great location and has all the amenities necessary for a family holiday. Was disappointing that there was absolutely no guest/ customer service. All inclusive is terrible and confusing along with the processes and systems the hotel has. Such a shame for a property that could be amazing. A let down for our family holiday and won’t return in future.

Family resort. feels like 1000's of people there. Crowded. If that does not bother you, ok place. Noise at night from pool or karioki irritating.

Nice hotel, near many attractions

We had a nice stay, the room was clean and breakfast plentiful. My only gripe is with the beach -- the dried seaweed should be cleaned out daily.

Good food, nice rooms can be recommended

The food was good and the rooms were nice and the sunbathing facilities were good IF you managed to get a sun bed. There were just little things that could have been better such as, 2 times we had problems with our room key and needed a new one, we had all inclusive and should have beennable to have soup when arriving late, but that wasn’t so. The map of the property is not very discriptive.etc. But all in all, a nice place to stay

Don’t stay here

The rooms were dirty , doesn’t look anyrhing like the pictures. Staff are extremely rude. It feels like 3 star not 5 star.

The rooms are not 5 star. Super small, no mini bar, only an empty fridge and pretty basic. The other installations (swimming pool and restaurants) are good in general.

I would like to start by saying that I never wrote a bad review in my life. But this is not a 5* star hotel. We were all SO DISAPPOINTED, that we requested our money back so we can go to a different hotel, but it was non refundable.. The pictures online look much better than what it actually is. The furniture and most things in the hotel are very old. You don’t feel like u came to a luxury hotel. The service is not 5 star. U have to ask for basic things that should be included in the room. In addition, you have to put £10 deposit per beach towel. You have to pay for bed/beach umbrella on the beach that is part of the hotel. I would say, that the hotel upgraded our room, which was still not to par what so ever. Overall, if you want to go to a 5 star hotel, and enjoy the room and hotel facilities, this is not the place for you. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and will be out and about most of the day, the place is fine.

I love this place, and the excellent buffet. I just wish the AC in my room worked. The fan works but no cold air.

Perfect vacation- we love this resort!

We had a fantastic stay! This was our second time at Porto Platanias hotel and spa. The staff were warm and welcoming especially Anastasia. We had a beautiful room with a sea view and private pool which was great for cooling off. We were surprised with lively welcome touches such as wine fresh cut fruit and cakes brought to our room. Dining as we looked out towards Theodorus island was incredible and the dining room staff were attentive and professional, especially Vassily. The food was simply delicious and even better than our previous visit. It's a small miracle I didnt gain 5 kilos! Greek night was a true experience. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was fine. We had some problem with the air conditioner not cooling but upon complaint the reception promptly sent soneone to fix it. Only drawback was loud noise at night from poolside games like air hocky tables. Had a wonderful massage by George at the spa.

Reception staff are lovely and friendly! The hotel is beautiful and has many sunbeds by the pool so we always had a lovely spot. The hotel is situated on the busy shopping street of Platanias which is great as there were lots of cute boutiques, shops and really great restaurants along the road. There is a huge variety of breakfast foods at Porto Platanias and the restaurants in the hotel is really good value and tastes lovely too! The spa is big but some facilities were not working properly and the manager there was not too helpful. My massage therapist, Sophia, was great!

Nothing like what I saw in hotel. Com I choose the family maisonette and in that photo has kitchen and living room n sitting area. Hotel gave me other maisonette family room with pool view With my disable mum I chose expensive room with little kitchen. Food is everage.and used left over as well. Beach front is the highlight of this hotel. Hotel front desk staffs aren't very friendly at all. Never use this hotel. Pay almost £2300 I am so unhappy Over all

Conveniently situated and child friendly hotel

Platanias is a bustly, busy tourist haven which also boasts a beautiful long stretch of beaches. Porto Platanias was a great place to stay with two small children. The staff were very attentive, great with the children, polite , helpful and on the two occasions where the children had an exacerbation of their asthma, the staff called the local doctors and were very supportive . The buffets at breakfast and lunch had a really good choice of quality food. We had no issues of tummy upsets and both children ( one a very fussy about eater) ate like they were going to the chair........the hotel is clean and spacious - we opted for a room with a plunge pool but saying that the pools were never that busy. We were close to a pool where the music was being played loud, but the soundproofing of the room meant that daytime naps were not affected by noise levels . Behind the hotel is a beautiful stretch of sandy and shingle beach with relatively shallow waters perfect for the kids - the loungers and umbrellas are free for guests and unlike other places is well controlled with non guests paying ( so quieter than other popular beaches). We hired a car to be able to explore and travel further afield but you have restaurants , bars shops, chemists all locally if you prefer to stay local. I think if it weren't for the excellent hotel staff and the quality of the meals this hotel would be pretty average but these two factors would make me return again to Porto Platanias.

Nice but with very very bad beds

Everything was very good but the quality of the beds was very very very bad.

This hotel felt mediocre. The pictures sold us on a different vacation. All in all not bad, we went at the height of European holiday and while the staff was nice enough, the fellow guest were difficult to coexist with. It felt more like a Bermuda knock-off resort, not Greek in anyway. Not a bad stay, but next time I would look for something more authentic.

Nice room/service was lacking

The description says the room is partial view but that required a little bit of stretching. The room was nice and clean. Getting the AC to stay on was tricky. The service was not good. Whatever I needed required two or three requests to get it.

We loved our stay! Perfect location & great hotel

Amazing location close to everything. Upgraded my room to ocean view upon check in and I didn't even request it. Comfortable room. We all loved the breakfast buffet. The selection was great. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Ok hotel - for 3 stars!

to be honest I expected a little more for 5 star rating - genuinely in my eyes this is a 3 to a 3.5 star max. Especially when you have to pay extra for everything - including a safe!! The distance from the airport etc should have been made a little more obvious - its not that easy to get to. In my view, it was expensive for what it was. Please be aware that you even have to pay for the beds on the beach every single day you go. Towels you have also hire out. We paid a 2000 for 7 days and I feel it wasn't worth that much. Also the pool - not enough beds as people take them early. Noise - room 101 - at 8 am every morning - lots and lot of noise from the kitchen below.

Perfect Hotel for Clubbers

Checked in at midnight into a nice suite - until the aircon leaked water all over the bed. Front desk moved us into a room on the main road - about 200 meters from a club that rocked until 6:00am. If you are on the exterior of the property plan your day (and night) accordingly - probably won't be getting much sleep.

Great hotel

Only complaint, poor wifi

Pretty resort but staff needs some training/manner

I wanted to fall in love with the resort since you are paying a premium. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Pools are fine except you can't get a chair unless you are up at 7am or after 4pm. Wifi in most of the resort is terrible! Their hotspot doesn't work well, even in the lobby. Only if you are in the VIP rooms can you find a dependable connection. Very frustrating for an expensive resort. My biggest issue was the staff. Front desk staff was fine and helpful. Lots of people were around to help with baggage and questions. My issue is with the cleaning staff and restaurant staff. As a Greek-American fluent in the language, I was astonished to overhear how some of the staff spoke around guests. Do they assume no one is Greek? Lots of Dutch, Polish, Norwegians, and Italians. I overheard in the hallways from the cleaning staff frustration about people not leaving their rooms so that they could clean them and then also in the restaurant when guests showed up last minute or late to their buffet breakfast. I couldn't believe how bitter and frankly lazy they sounded. Very inappropriate to speak badly of guests that way and assuming no one understands them! You don't even need to know Greek to see their outward frustration. I would happily give my money to a smaller establishment who appreciates me, especially in these hard times for Greece. Disappointed I spent so much money considering staff and wifi problems.

First anniversary stay

Trip was for our first anniversary which we were after some time to relax. We definitely got this here! Hotel staff were lovely and upgraded us with surprise gifts which awaited our return from Samaria Gorge! Only room downside were two beds rather than a double but beds were comfy still!

Bad hotel in a cheezy area

This is certainly not a 5 stars hotel. On a rather small land, they tried to squeeze a maximum amount of rooms. Pools are loaded of tourists, you can't find a chair. The cafeteria (not a restaurant) offers a lousy buffet. Even if you paid for the breakfast and the dinner, you have to pay for your water or your soda. No rooms are waterfront. There is a street between the hotel and the beach. And few rooms have a real sea view. We reserved for 6 nights but left after 4, even if we couldn't have a refund for the last nights... Don't go there!

Beach Vacation

We came to Chania and Platanias as the first leg on our honeymoon and I wanted to stay somewhere pretty fancy. This hotel had a 5 star rating and beautiful pictures. And overall, it lived up the booking. The rooms were very clean, the pools and beach were gorgeous, and the food was amazing. Overall we were very happy. Couple things to note, we went in late May and the Mediterranean was still a little too cold to swim in comfortably. Also the indoor pool in the booking is actually part of the spa and is not available unless you pay extra. My only final complaint and bit of advice is that you return your beach towels a day early. We waited until the night before we left and the towel office was closed and we ended up losing our deposit. Not a huge deal but a little unexpected. Overall still a great stay at the beach.

Not a 5 star but ok

Didn't get room we had booked. First two alternatives were not acceptive and had to make a fuss. Three pools but all small and feels crowed. Breakfast room big where you can sit but to get the food in a different area can be very busy but lots of choice and staff always have a smile. Beach small and not very clean but water nice. Sun bead cost euro 8. Central location and you can walk to all the restaurants.

Perfect location on the beach

Great location, very friendly staff apart from 'guest relations'. We booked a double room and were given a room with two single beds stuck together, when we asked at reception the next day they said that's the room you booked and you can't change it but promised to put a double mattress to make it more comfortable, however they didn't actually bother. Hotel breakfast is average, not 5star standard. Good variety and food is fresh, waiters are extremely friendly and attentive. However the restaurant is packed and often have to wait for a table to be cleaned before being seated. Hotel has 3 pools which are very nice and excellent bar with very friendly staff. Very clean with games available and activities for children. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Air con did not always work and it was extremely noisy in the morning with hedge trimming taking place at 7am. Apart from that and the room mix up very good hotel.

A good choice for a family or couple getaway

Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a week away. But if you value your sleep at night, having a room near the pool bar is a disaster as the noise level is crazy. The only option is to go to bed after 1am.

Value for money but not really a quality 5* hotel

Pros: - more than 4 very large and organized pools to suite your style whether you want quiet and pieceful relaxing place or noisy kids areas, you can find it all - decent room size with all the facilities you would expect to find (make sure you ask for a recently renovated room otherwise the others are more than 10-15 years old and dont bother paying for side sea view as it is not worth it. - we found it very cheap for a 5 star hotel in Crete. - friendly staff trying to accomodate all requests - Excellent breakfast variety Cons: - the rooms were dirty (not to my standards) i.e. the cleaning ladies were mobing the floor without dusting it first and the result was terrible. The bed sheets were not very clean. - The aircondition was switched off in the morning hours every 1 hour and we had to manually turn it on. Some nights the main aircondition was off and when we turned on the air condition in the room only the fan was working and the air was not cold. The reception area had no aircondition most of the time making it very uncomfortable to sit or wait there especially with all the glass around. - the minibar in all the rooms was completely empty but luckily the fridge was working so we put our own water in. - noise from upper floor rooms was terrible because the floor had no carpet (a good and a bad thing) - Free Internet was only available in the (hot) reception area and nowwhere else ( no signal at all, at least with an iphone, ipad and an android phone)

Whi is rating these hotels?

On a recent trip to Greece my crew stayed at a number of "5 star" hotels. Each one of them was completely different, this hotel being the worst. Sure there were a lot of pools, but by 9am they were all mobbed by children. The only pool not victimized was the indoor pool at the spa. The buffet was extensive but the quality was average. in Greece 5 star means what? not sure, but if you have problems with tons of children and average service, stay here. if you want more of greece, pass and go somewhere else.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'hotel è accogliente e il personale è molto preparato e disponibile. La spiaggia è a due passi e lungo la strada sono presenti numerosi negozi e ristoranti. Unica nota negativa: uno spiacevole fraintendimento per quanto riguarda l'all day dining, per il quale il cameriere di turno è stato molto maleducato. Fortunatamente il resto dello staff si è dimostrato all'altezza.

Good stay

Loved the room and the view we got. View to the lounge bar and the adult pool. Very nice. Loved the service from the bartender at Hermes lounge bar, he was so kind and gave excellent service! Worth visiting and chat with him!🌸 Also the location was perfect, close to the beach and the night life in Platanias ❤️

God og pæn hotel

Et super godt hotel med flere pool. Personalet er suoer imædekomme de og venlig. Der er meget rent og pænt Hotellet ligger ikke på stranden. Dwr er en trafikeret vej imellem stranden og hotellet. Hotellet har et kæmpe problem med liggestolene. Folk står op kl 5 græsk rid for at reserevere og perosbalet gør sjællendt noget for at fjerne håndklædwr fea de resverede liggestole. Jeg har været der i 10 dage og personalet har kun gjort noget på min sidste dag hvor de fjenede håbdklæder for folk der har reserveret men kom først efter flere timer.

Nice holiday with kids

We were traveling with two families, children 4, 5, 7 and 7. The hotel was great! Lots of great pools, great location and really nice two bedroom room. Animation team, which was responsible for the program and especially children / kids club was great. Our kid spent 1-2 hours each day (except one) in kids club and also joined the mini disco in the evening. There were lots of great people in the animation team and our kids loved those people there. There are also really many nice restaurants near by. I can only recommend and we are already planning another trip there next summer.

Great food, great beach, clean and modern hotel

We stayed for four nights with all inclusive. Excellent buffets - three meals a day. Beach is very close and very kid-friendly. There are snorkelling opportunities along the stone pier on the left side of the beach. We also took a two-hour boat excursion to the nearby island, which is recommended. In general, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Rooms are modern and clean, we had a maisonette for four persons with a small balcony. Just a few areas of improvement: a) the safety lockers should be included in the price, b) there were very few power outlets in the rooms for charging and there were nowhere to hang towels in the shower room. c) it would have been nice to get a few water bottles daily to the room, as part of the all inclusive deal.

Flott og sentralt

Flott og veldig sentralt hotell! Ligger rett ved flott sandstrand, og mange gode lunsj- og middags restauranter. Rent og pent, med hjelpsomme ansatte. God kapasitet og utvalg ved frokosten. Et lite minus er for få solsenger ved bassengene og ved stranden.

Super établissement idéalement situé, plage et piscines, proche des commerces et des restaurants. Chambres super ! Tout le personnel est très sympathique et agréable. En formule tout inclus nous avons passé 10 jours de pur plaisir.

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Nous cherchions le bon compromis pour se reposer dans un ressort tout en visitant la région. En termes de situation géographique, l’hôtel est bien placé (même s’il s’agit d’un repère à touristes) et situé à 15 minutes de la Canée (notre coup de cœur) et à 30 minutes du port de Kissamos pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la beauté de Balos Lagoon. Pour ce qui est de l’hôtel en tant que tel : - le personnel est peu aimable - la chambre mal équipée (pas de cafetière, pas de prise électrique à moins de débrancher une lampe, pas d’informations mises à disposition sur le fonctionnement de l’hôtel...) - literie médiocre : mon compagnon et moi dormions sur deux niveaux différents car les matelas du lit double n’étaient pas à la même hauteur - chambre propre mais savon et shampoing jamais rechargés (il a fallu qu’on réclame) - les piscines n’invitent pas à la détente car enclavées dans le béton, au milieu des logements. Compte tenu du coup de la vie en Crète, on a trouvé que l’hôtel était un peu cher par rapport aux prestations.

Cette établissement ne vaux pas 5 étoiles . Propre et chambre nettoyage chacun jour. Personne pour surveiller les piscines. Les gens réservé les transats sans être là de toute la journée. Plage laisse à désirer le sable n’ai pas nettoyé. Nourriture sans plus.

Super til familieophold

Dette er maksimalt et 3 stjernet hotel

Dette er ikke et 5 stjernet hotel - max 3 stjerner. Det gamle charter mareridt er tilbage her - kampen om liggestolene om morgenen (selvom det ikke er tilladt, håndhæves det ikke). Flere pools på hotellet men det føles enormt småt. Vi have halvpension og maden er faktisk ok god. Tjenerne søde og hjælpsomme. Det er et godt mellemturistklasse hotel. Hvis du forventer 5 stjernet, bliver du skuffet. Derudover er det ret skuffende at booke et SPA hotel, men der er kun adgang til spa'en mod betaling. Fitness centeret har ventekø pga max 5 personer ad gangen og air con her er ikke god.

Upplevelse

Jag kan berätta om det som jag tyckte var mindre bra. Det är att om man avskyr rökare, har en gravid fru eller har barn så är det svårt att undvika folk som röker då det inte finns några restriktioner för det på hotellet över huvud taget. Stort minus för det från oss. Det andra skulle jag säga att maten på hotellet inte var lika gott som på andra 5 stjärniga Hotel som vi varit på som tex Rhodos bay. Det tredje var att det kanske var lite för långt bort från staden (13km). Det är mycket trevligare att gå runt i staden än att gå runt i Platanias området.

Super fint hotel. Ligger meget centralt i Platanias, uden mod vandet med en lille vej man krydser og så er man på stranden. Vil en anden gang kun tilkøbe morgenmad, og så spise i byen i stedet for at have all inklusive.

Fantastisk!

Reisen var fantastisk. Menneskene som jobbet der var utrolige høflige og kjekke, og passet godt på covid-regler med tanke på avstand og munnbind. Rommet var perfekt og renholdet som ble gjort en gang til dagen sto alltid til forventning. Frokosten hadde et meget godt utvalg, og antall bassenger i tilleg til stranden, ga mange muligheter innen soling og avslapning på dagen. Resturangen nede ved stranden serverte deilig mat, og selvom vi ikke hadde all inclusive spiste vi lunsj der nesten hver dag. Hotellet var åpent til alle tider, og resepsjonistene var uteolig hjelpsomme om vi lurte på ting. For eksempel hjalp de oss med å få en lege til hotellet for coronatest og medisiner mot infeksjon som en av oss fikk underveis. Selve rommet var perfekt, gode senger med deilig madrass, nydelig bad og en fin balkong. Eneste vi kunne ønsket var flere stikk-kontakter, rommet vårt hadde bare 2. Ellers var reisen fantastisk, og hotellet sto for en stor del av denne gleden.

Dejligt sted med perfekt beliggendhed

Dejligt hotel midt i Platanias og beliggende ved dejlig strand og gode spisesteder. Indtjekning var lidt kaotisk og forvirrende, men venligt personale og rent hotel. Store værelser og flere pools. Et godt ophold.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Dass Essen vom Buffet war lecker, vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Es hat ein kostenloses Parking, was für uns super war, da wir eine Auto gemietet hatten. Der Strand war leider sehr überfüllt und die Sonnenschirme und Liegen sind schon sehr alt und runtergekommen. Man musste für diese jeden Tag bezahlen (6 Euro), was ich für ein 5* Hotel peinlich finde. Am Pool konnten wir uns kaum aufhalten weil bereits um 8 Uhr morgens jede einzelne Liege mit einem Badetuch besetzt war.

Asciugamani vecchie, le lenzuola non le cambiano tutti i giorni e la pulizia non e’ al top...ma io parto dagli standard italiani. Per un 5 stelle il prezzo e’ buono.

Rannan vieressä, iso ja vähän sokkeloinen hotelli, mutta onnistuneella tavalla. Aikuisille oma allas ilman musiikkia > viihdyimme hyvin. Ruoka harvinaisen hyvää hotelliruuaksi. Palvelu kohteliasta ja ystävällistä, paitsi vastaanotossa jostain syystä nihkeämpää. Platanias vähän tylsä kun mm kävelyreitit puuttuu kokonaan, mutta hotellia voi suositella. Palaamme varmasti jos tänne vielä suuntaamme.

Très bon hôtel avec une bonne équipe d'animation (tournois de jeux ...) , un grand nombre de services, piscines , plage, soleil, des restaurants et bars à extrémité de l’hôtel (bien situé) ... des conditions parfaites pour de bonnes vacances ! Par contre l’entrée au spa est payante ainsi que les massages mais bon l’hôtel vous Offre 1 entrée découverte Sur la plage location de transats et parasol payant à 3 euro ce qui reste correct vous pouvez toujours mettre votre serviette sur le sable !

Au top Très bon hôtel où nous avons passé un super séjour , un grand nombre de restaurants A l'extérieur De l’hôtel . Le seul inconvénient les piscines sont un peu petites Petit déjeuné très copieux

Godt hotel. Super beliggenhed.

Vi var to voksne og to teenagebørn (15 og 17) afsted i en uge i juli/august 2019. Super god beliggenhed lige ved stranden. 5 (mindre) poolområder med god plads i som ikke var overfyldte. To gode poolbars. Vi havde allinclusive. Der var godt udvalg og for en bred smag - både sundt og sødt. Venlig betjening overalt på hotellet. Vi havde en massionet-lejlighed som var fin, men lidt lille til 4 voksne (men nok ok hvis mindre børn).

Location and facilities were great. Staff were helpfull, friendly and efficient. Can give my best recommendation.

Ikke til 5 stjerner

Standarden var klart ikke til 5 stjerner. “Kamp” om for få solstole dagligt, utilstrækkelig rengøring, kun skift af poolhåndklæder 3 gange pr. uge, regler blev ikke håndhævet mm

Alt her er i orden, venligt og servicemindet personale hele vejen igennem. Lækre pools og fantastisk god morgenmad.

Rigtig godt hotel

Notre chambre etait à coté du terrain du foot donc beaucoup de bruit. Le personnel à l acceuil ne parle pas français. Points positifs: hotel proche de la plage, des restaurants et des stations du bus.

Ottimo soggiorno

Bella struttura, vicino al mare e a 2 passi dai principali ristoranti per la sera. Bella la palestra per potersi anche allenare, ottima la colazione, ricca e varia. Camera spaziosa e comoda. Unica pecca: il wifi molto debole in camera, funzionava solo da un punto.

Fantastisk ophold på Hotel Porto Platanias

Fantastisk hotel med suplim beliggenhed. Vi var så heldige at få et værelse med udsigt over havet og det var helt perfekt. Stor renlighed på hotellet, rengøringsdamerne, servicemedarbejdere var igang hele dagen for at holde hotellet perfekt. Lokationen er helt perfekt både til lufthavn og et utroligt udvalg af gode restauranter. Aktiviteter på hotellet med "sports teamet" var super både for børn og forældre, der var alt fra yoga, vand gymnastik, bordtennis, og en masse små turneringer. Vi ville helt sikkert komme retur på dette dejlige hotel.

Vi koste oss, det var et avslappende hotell å bo på.

Nice for couples, not for families with kids...

Great all-inclusive food. Drinks so and so. Rooms and cleaning ok. The animation team should have more activities for the teenagers. Annoying people put their towel on the sun beds and leave for the day with their towels still on them... Way too crowded around all the pool areas, even though there were five different pools to use, all sun beds were taken at around 6-7 in the mornings. Sandy beach is close and ok...

Gute Lage und immer eine schöne Aussicht, sehr nettes Personal. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel war das Zimmer etwas klein aber immer sehr sauber.

Good Hotel with a good location.

Just went back after 7 days at this hotel. Nice Hotel with a good location. + (Plus): Clean, friendly staff, very nice room (We have the one with own pool), good fitness facilities, and great breakfast - (minus): No sunbeds available, we saw mornings were close to 100 beds fully booked with only few people at the pool. People reserve the beds for a full day, even when they only are there few hours total during the day. This is not good! (We were then happy for our own pool then), Beach close to hotel very overbooked, extra cost for SPA facilities, also some noise at the hotel in the evening, some problems to log on WIFI when 4 people at the same room need the access (Worked only at 2 units, and limit of help from the staff).

Super

Jättebra hotell, fantastisk frukost och mycket hjälpsam personal. Saknade ingenting. Och rummet var i två våningar med två balkonger, snyggt!

Hotel di lusso vicino al mare

Abbiamo fatto il nostro viaggio di nozze in questo stupendo villaggio, ricco di ogni comfort, non mancava nulla. Il cibo è stato ottimo anche se tipico della regione, le piscine e la Spa ottime per rilassarsi e prendere il sole. Il mare è a due passi dall'hotel, la spiaggia era molto bella anche se c'era spesso il vento.

Hotel in Strandnähe

Als wir am Vormittag mit dem Mietauto ankamen war uns klar, dass wir noch nicht einchecken konnten (erst am 14:30 Uhr) wir wollten schon mal die Koffer abstellen und dann nach Chania reinfahren. Koffer sollten wir gleich bei der Rezeption stehen lassen und mit unserer Zimmernummer versehen. Ich fragte, zu den andern 20 Koffern die da alle so „herrenlos“ rumstanden. Ja, die werden dann direkt ins Zimmer geliefert. Als wir gegen 15:00 Uhr wieder kamen standen unsere Koffer alleine immer noch da. Ich fragte nach ob unser Zimmer fertig sei? Ja aber sie sind in einem anderen Hotel!!! 200m auf der anderen Straßenseite. Ich wusste dass das statt 5 Sterne nur ein 4 Sterne Hotel ist und sagte ich habe aber dieses Hotel gebucht. Nach 30 Min. Diskussion bekamen wir dann doch ein Zimmer. Angeblich wäre das Andere größer und wir können ja zum Essen etc. rüberkommen. Das Essen ist ok aber nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Bedienungen sind alle nett und freundlich. Zimmer sind ok aber nicht 5 Sterne. Es fehlt völlig ein willkommen im Hotel. Bei 5 Sternen erwartet man zumindest ein kleines Erfrischungsgetränk wenn man ankommt. Kosmetikartikel (z. B. Duschhaube, Nagelfeile, Wattestäbchen), Kosmetikspiegel, Papiergesichtstücher, Nähzeug, Bademantel, Hausschuhe fehlen komplett. Spa/Massage etc. ist leider sehr überteuert.

Bello ma no da 5 stelle!

Abbiamo alloggiato 12 giorni presso questa struttura. Appena siamo arrivati ci hanno assegnato "una camera" a pian terreno, senza finestra ne balcone e totalmente diversa dalla camera standar che avevamo prenotato su internet! Dopo due giorni di lamentele ci hanno spostato in un altra camera al primo piano. Questa, decisamente più confortevole come da sito . Anche in questo caso però la camera era situata davanti ascensori e tra le scale che conducevano al ristorante . Come potete immaginare dunque, la sveglia avveniva regolarmente a causa del passaggio degli ospiti chi recavano a far colazione o in piscina. Secondo lato negativo il bagno non ha una doccia chiusa e pertanto l acqua finiva ovunque. Terzo lato negativo , nonostante il cartello non disturbare ci siamo trovate più volte la signora delle pulizie che ci chiedeva di pulire. I lati positivi che abbiamo riscontato riguardano l'ottimo servizio e qualità della ristorazione , la pulizia della struttura , buona organizzazione degli spazi nel resort. Ottima posizione tranne per il mare che non rispecchia la bellezza di altre spiagge che abbiamo visto. In definitiva , buon soggiorno ma per noi non da 5 stelle.

Dejligt hotel med venligt personale. Eneste minus var den dårlige Wi-Fi dækning, som tit var ikke eksisterende eller meget langsom. Udover det kan vi kun anbefale dette hotel.
