Very close to the airport only five minutes away by cab

They checked us in before 2:00 pm, good breakfeast verity nice cat on site. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Area very nice. Walk every where. Very clean ever where.

Good hotel near the airport

Good hotel for one night near the airport. There is shuttle service but coming in one day we were charged £25 both ways but on our next stay 10 days later it was £9.00 each way so I was a bit disappointed as to the overcharge on one stay. Good breakfast. Walls are thin but a good place to lay your head for a night. Lots of places for dinner a short walk down by the water.

An excellent choice for right before or after an FCO flight. Near the airport, nice continental breakfast with cappuccino, but not as expensive as an airport hotel. In a neighborhood with convenient tasty restaurants. The staff is unparalleled in friendliness and care.

Not as expected and advertised

Expect to get a room that is as described and pictured on Hotels.com which was not the case. In the pictures and description it said that all rooms have a balcony. The room had no balcony and a very small window the size of a prison cell. This was clearly a room much cheaper then what we paid for. The front desk clerk we could go elsewhere if we were not happy. Very courteous...

Very clean, beautiful property. Hot water for more than one shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport in morning a very lovely van with safe driver. Great breakfast. Spacious room with places to put suitcases which is not common in our experiences in Italy.

we stayed here a couple of years ago and had an amazing room. this stay we were in a dump of a room that was dark and not in the hotel -- it was separate from the hotel.

Location and staff were excellent. Liked having transportation to and from airport.

A lovely property, very close to the airport. Very clean and the room was spacious. The only issue was we waited about 15 minutes to get checked in as there was no one at the front des when we arrived. We called and someone came and checked us in, But for the slight inconvenience, taking off one star.

The place is family owned and really cute. Great location and walking distance to all kinds of bars & restaurants along the canal. Only complaint is the beds are VERY firm.

Nice and close to the airport

This hotel is nice and close to the airport! They offer shuttle to and from the airport at 9€ per person which was so helpful. The rooms are quite basic, but clean and nice. There’s not a coffee maker in the room so we went downstairs at 7:00 for it. There is a convenient elevator so no stairs involved! The staff was very nice to arrange a driver into Rome for our dinner reservation. Also, Uber is available for a little less of a fee.

Porto di Claudia

As I stated earlier everything was wonderful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was very good and the shuttle service was great. They stored our luggage at checkout for 3 hours while we waited to go to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Great stopover

We stayed here both coming and going from Rome. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. convinent to the airport (hotel has shuttle) and located within walking distance of nice restaurants and the waterfront. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough about the staff that help me. I needed to go back-and-forth to the airport which made ising the shuttle very convenient. They gave me an extended stay while I waited for my new flight . The ladies in the breakfast room made a great coffee. I highly recommend the convenience and service of this hotel.

Great space in a great neighborhood. Family run, great attention to detail. A lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Small fee for the airport shuttle.

Poor service and room not as advertised.

We booked this room with the specific intent to use the soaking tub on the balcony after a long flight. At first they put us into the wrong room, and we had to show the booking to get moved to the correct room. Upon being moved to the correct room, the soaking tub was filthy and there was an additional charge of 40 euros to actually use it. The glass door to the balcony was also broken (a hinge had broken) an extremely disappointing hotel with a very expensive price tag. Not worth it at all.

They put me in a barren apartment

They took me to an empty apartment instead of the hotel. It had no wifi, so I was unable to communicate. Also no coffee, no garden or the amenities that attracted me to this choice. I suggest you NOT pay ahead of time so you have leverage to avoid my experience.

SCARE AT UNKNOWN STREET

Our flight was late. We arrived at the hotel 2 hours later than our schedule. Was 0:15am. Front door close/locked. We called to a phone property number and some answer telling us wait 10’ and and he will be there. We got frustrated at the street in an unknown neighborhood. Tarek arrives in 10’ as he said to me and was very nice and cooperative! We just sleep, In the morning they offerer a transportation to Fiumicino at friendly rate. Room ok if you stay 1-2 night.

The Hotel is very conveniently located, very clean and well provisioned, and all the Staff are wonderful. The only complaint would be that it is over-priced and the breakfast was very limited, especially for the price paid.

The location is handy for the airport although €30 taxi! We were very disappointed that the room appeared to state free breakfast but we had to pay. The gentlemen working at hotel very lovely.

MODERN UPDATED ROOMS

This was a perfect location for our last 2 nights in Italy. We were close to the airport. The area had good restaurants and bakeries. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was a welcome surprise. And it was delicious.

A great family run hotel. The father and son I dealt with were amazing and very helpful. It was nice to have a airport shuttle as well. I would definitely stay here again.

My reservation was for room and breakfast for 2. Upon checkout we were told we needed to pay for breakfast room only. The hotel showed me a confirmation for room only on their computer which I never saw. My complaint is not with the hotel it is with you hotels.com I would like to speak to someone about this and get some refund please contact me.

We loved the family atmosphere. The room was basic but pleasant. We enjoyed the balcony every morning and every evening. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants. There is also a nice grocery store down the road. We had a very nice stay here.

So this is an odd choice of property. We chose it because of its proximity to the airport for our final night in Italy. The neighborhood is not very flashy - to say the very least - but the location is convenient, We had rented a car for a week and needed to return it to the airport, so this made sense. For our final dinner we walked to the nearby Il Moro Ristorante di Pesce right on the water. There is no real beach in the neighborhood - it is a working marina. Il Moro has an amazing view and a fantastic kitchen. It has been around since 1950 and has earned the right to be there. The food was fabulous as was the view. The hotel was fine - clean and servicable, nothing too fancy but not a motel 6 either. The Family who runs are delightful and wonderfully helpful.

We got to the hotel to check in and no one was there. There were people hanging out outside the hotel on the street, that left me feeling very uncomfortable. Rang the bell next to the gate, no answer. Luckily the taxi driver waited and was able to call. He said he’d be there in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later we called again. The guy showed up 20 minutes later and told me Expedia canceled my reservation, which was not true. Next morning arranged airport transportation at 4:45am. Again, front desk person was no where to be found. Rang the hand bell, pressed the bell for over 10 minutes. I then went behind the counter and peeped in a door that had a key in it. Front desk guy was in the back ASLEEP!! I yelled, excuse me, we have a shuttle to the airport 15 minutes ago. Again, he came up with some kind of excuse. I have NEVER experienced that type of customer service at a hotel EVER!!

Comfortable room and great balcony. I would recommend this hotel for a stop before airport. Cute restaurant area along water a few minutes away.

One night stay. HORRIBLE

I did not get the room that i booked, had to pay again after i had already paided through hotels.com app. The staff did not speak ANY English, was charged double for the shuttle service. The air conditioning only works for an hour at a time. (have to go to panel and reset every hour) 3 different staff were at front desk but every time i went to desk none were there. Pictures of the hotel are very misleading. No bar/lounge on property as advertised. One of the worst experiences I've had booking with hotels.com would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you don't speak Italian.

The hotel is clean, convenient to the airport and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have a shuttle service to the airport that is a lot cheaper than taxis. Lots of dining options within an easy walk.

After arrival we were told our 2 rooms didn't have electricity and so were placed in an adjacent building that was far less superior to what we paid for. There was no attempt to compensate. This was a bait and switch. Since we had a late check-in we believe our rightful rooms were given to someone else. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. Would never recommend.

ROME at last night

Family run. Very nice. Convenient. Great breakfast. Darians restaurant nearby was our best meal.in Italy this trip.

The B & B was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. The AC was not on so I left a window open and woke up to a mosquito bite on my eyelid. Also, the dining options nearby were VERY limited.

I booked 7 nights . checked out on my 2nd night . was charged for all 7 nights . currently in dispute process

Ideal for access to the airport, with the fishing harbor and restaurants a block away.

Great place for travelers leaving from Airport

This is a family run facility with spotless and spacious rooms. We made arrangements to be picked up at the airport and for transportation to the airport when we left (note-the shuttle costs 15 Euros). The staff was very nice and we enjoyed our brief stay. we enjoyed the availability of several restaurants nearby. We would use it again if flying in or out of Fiumicino.

Give them a try, well worth it.

I had a wonderful time at Porto di Claudio. The family who own the hotel are great and extremely helpful and attentive.

The hotel is well located near the airport and an easy walk to restaurants along the sea. My only complaint is that I requested a 5am shuttle to the airport. At 5:10am, I called a cab because no one showed up.

It is a well maintained plain jane property, it’s one saving grace is it close to the airport but in an area filled with locals and restaurants.

WE had to find a hotel for the night as our flight was cancelled. This family run hotel was very friendly, picking us up from and dropping us off to the airport cheaper than the taxis. A lot of restaurants about 5 minutes walk away beside a canal.

Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff. Came out to street and helped unload our bags, gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room has a huge terrace overlooking the street but was quiet during the night. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Very happy we chose this nice little place.

It is a small and beautifully rennovated building, out and inside. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Only ok

The hotel was clean and the staff were nice and spoke English very well. The bed was soooooo uncomfortable and hard so I did not get a good nights rest. The walls are also thin so you can hear everything your neighbors say/do. Other than that, I would recommend this place if it will be a 1 night thing or if you have to be close to the airport for early flights.

This was very good budget stay; airport shuttle, close to cafe and restaurants with fairly reasonable pricing. The breakfast was quite good and service and staff was great ! Recommend the stay if you are travelling in and out of fuicimino. Only negatives were no iron :)

Aldo did my checkin. The room was ready. They provided outstanding service. Ricardo and the owner were very helpful with dinner suggestions. My mom and I missed the lunch time cut off time. Restaurants close at 3pm we didn’t have lunch. So we went to Tambao. Excellent food & service.

Why go from Rome?

We LOVED this place. We came here after a cruise to catch a next morning flight and it was a perfect choice. About a 10 minute shuttle to the airport and right in the center of Fiumicino. We borrowed their bikes and spent the afternoon at the beach and later walked the two blocks to the main street for a delightful dinner. It is also a block from a grocery store where we bought a little wine for sipping out on the deck while watching planes land. What a great way to end a vacation. The place was very modern and looked to have just been remodeled. Clean, modern bathroom large space, helpful staff. Picked up in the am at 6:50 in the airport at 7:10.

Great location for overnight stopover

We have stayed in Porto di Claudio for an overnight stopover flight connection at Fiumicino Airport. Proximity to the airport is great. Located in a nice fishing town, I wished that we had more time to try the local seafood restaurants around.

Had an early morning flight, so I wanted to stay close to the airport. Might always stay here in the future, regardless of flight time. Relaxing seaside neighborhood with tons of restaurants in walking distance, totally different vibe that tourist central of Rome.

The property was very well designed and up to date. Tile and stone everywhere. Great location as well. Other than the bed being a little too hard it was perfect.

The location to the airport was good. Although the booking for this accommodation did not indicate a room access time( just departure time) we arrived a bit early but the staff were really good and gave us access as soon as the room had been cleaned which was very much appreciated as we we exhausted. staff were also very helpful as they booked transport for us when we needed. This establishment supplied a good breakfast BUT unlike other B&B we were not allowed to use the kitchen to make our own coffee/tea etc which would be ok if they supplied more than a small fridge in the room ie a kettle, cups etc.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very good hotel. Room is comfortable with a large terrace. However, WiFi service is sporadic and weak.

Our stay was great. The staff was extremely helpful, printing out our boarding passes on the house computer and in getting us a shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was great and the town was wonderful and with in walking distance.

For a short stay close to Rome Fumicino airport this is an excellent value. I have no complaints as the room suited my needs perfectly. The walls are thin and the floors are tile which means sound carries easily. A good variety of restaurants in walking distance. Schedule the airport shuttle when you arrive to avoid confusion. Staff speaks English which is helpful. Breakfast included is more than adequate.

Everything was excellent. Close to the airport but also to the sea, nice restaurants nearby. TAM bus service to Rome is good value for money.

Very convenient to the airport. Early morning flight out of Fiumicino, front desk arranged for a Taxi pick-up . Location is Close to a market and local restaurants .

Loved proximity to the Airport and restaurants and café on the block. Also great fish restaurants, cafés, Pizzas and gelato a few minutes by the canal. Hotel offers transfers for nominal fee to the Airport. Person at the Lobby is very helpful and informative. Highly recommend.

We stayed at here for our last night in Rome, before our flight the next morning. The proximity to the airport was the main appeal. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. The room was spacious and had a very nice balcony. The area is a little hard to navigate at night, but once you get closer to the water, there are many restaurants and dining options. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport; we paid just 7 euro. It leaves very often, and they let you know the times in advance so you can plan your trip accordingly. If you're looking for a nice place to stay before your flight, where it's very easy to get to the airport, I would highly recommend this hotel.
