Terres is nice take a fresh air

Rooms are very basic and the cleaning is fine until you look at any corners. The furnishings are a bit tired too. The beds are comfortable and it was quiet (despite being on a low floor facing the street) The blackout blinds were good, and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The air conditioning was poor and there was a musty smell in the room. More like a student hostel than 4 star hotel- wouldn't stay again.

Shower not fit for purpose Wardrobe smelled of body odour! No chairs Only one mirror in the bathroom We were in a superior room. I dread to think what the basic ones are like! This was just a bed slot!

Not a four-star hotel

The room was cramped, but that was fully expected, since I reserved a single room. The room was in the back of the building. The view was on a wall. The bathroom was microscopic and dated. The toilet leaked. The hotel is very spartan. There is no bar. No gym. The employees non exactly cheerful. The breakfast was quite good. The AC worked well. It is a solid three-star hotel.

Nice Hotel

This hotel is a minimalist hotel with the very basics. A bit of an artsy place. The location in Gracia is very good. There is a metro stop half a block away. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean.

No Air Conditioning

Had terrible sleeping because they had not switched the building to AC. We were on the 5th floor and roasted. They came and opened the window, but it is in a very busy part of town. People were yelling, partying and driving loud motorcycles all night. Our choices were roast, or leave the window open with bright lights and extremely loud city noise. Called and complained, and they were empathetic, but never brought a fan they promised to bring. After complaining multiple days. Would have left, but did not have time to search for new hotel.

Shower handle loose, room minibar fridge did not work, air cobditioning did not work. Not worth the price.

This hotel is a great location, the staff are excellent and helpful. The hotel lobby has a great layout and atmosphere with free coffee and a variety of teas. The rooms are good and the daily room service is excellent. The main issue is no A.C. The staff said this was because it was winter. But if you open the window the road is too noisy to sleep and if you close the window there is no airflow - too stuffy. A four star hotel should have A/C available at any time of the year. The hotel and staff are excellent apart from the A/C issue.

A nice, small hotel in Gràcia, Pol & Grace sits between 2 major subway lines, 3-minutes from the Plaça Molina L7 station. The comfortable reception area is adjacent to a bright, well-appointed guest lounge with tea & coffee and places to work, read or hang out. We particularly appreciated Luria’s help checking us in, helping us navigate the neighborhood and arranging a taxi to get us to the airport. The rooms are smallish but nicely renovated, and our bed was comfortable. The hotel also has a large roof terrace with plants, lounge chairs, tables & umbrellas. It’s just so nice to be up on a roof under the perfect Barcelona weather. Also, the hotel is only a 6-minute walk from architect Antoni Gaudí’s first major commission: the inspired Casa Vicens.

Buen hotel pero a/c no se sentia

El personal del hotel muy amable. El hotel está muy bien conectado en una zona muy agradable. Mi único problema es que en mi cuarto hacia mucho calor. El aire acondicionado no se percibía. Lo reporte y me dijeron que era por ley pero estuve en otros dos hoteles y la temperatura era agradable y si se sentía el a/c. Así que para mi era incómodo en la noche porq se sentía calor.

Breakfast had excellent sausages and pastries every day.

Service and Comfort is good, Cleanliness is okay as had to ask to have the bed sheet changed on the first night. Complimentary coffee at the lobby is a plus.

I loved this hotel! Not the most central neighborhood but a beautiful local one at that. Loved walking the streets, shops and cafes. Hotel staff were fantastic, room fantastic, free coffee fantastic. I really enjoyed it and I will be back!

Great staff, aesthetic and location

Had a great stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, and well-styled with (presumably) local artists’ works on the room’s wall as murals. Highlight was the staff, who were lovely to talk to and did everything they could to cater for various requests, despite many of the food and drinks facilities being unavailable due to COVID restrictions. Overall, great spot to stay explore the city while also being a nice place to chill out (read roof terrace) at the end of the day.

Simple but clean hotel

Good hotel if you’re not expecting many amenities (no gym, pool, breakfast, bar, restaurant). Very clean and good service, hotel itself is very stylish with a nice terrace on the roof.

2 nights in Barca

Stayed two nights and was pleased, the books in the lobby are a really nice touch and the sheets on the bed were cool and crispy.

Check in and customer service were great. Hotel has a pretty nice terrace but not much to view from there. Room was average. Overall good.

The location is great, near metro Molino and in quiet area, close walk to Gracia neighborhood

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended

I stayed at the Pol & Grace Hotel with family for three nights at the end of February & can only say it was wonderful. The hotel location is great, it is almost next to the Pl Molina metro station so within minutes you are in the centre (three stops on L7 to Place de Catalunya). But by far its best feature is its staff. Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful and went that extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a triple room and had a room with a double & single bed which was perfect. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean & had a good sized bathroom. The hotel does have a car park but it is small so I would advise e-mailing the hotel to book a parking space if needed. I did this and the hotel responded within five minutes. I would highly recommend staying at the Pol & Grace Hotel & will definately stay here again when I return to Barcelona

Friends trip

My overall experience was good, although when we first arrived we had to wait 2 hours 30min at check in for our room. What’s more the staff weren’t the friendliest. The hotel is situated near a metro which was a plus. The room was good but what made my trip really amazing was the front desk man (who I wish I got his name) during the night shift as he helped me check out and booked a taxi for us. He honestly was an amazing man !

Fast checkin, decent sized beds compared to others in same class, good location. Front staff are great, free coffee machine is great coming over from North America and you want to work in the middle of the night. Only negative was we asked for an iron and it didn’t come.

Stayed for a week

We enjoyed our stay in this cool hotel - the ground floor reminds me more of a casual co-working space than a traditional hotel lobby. We found the staff members to be very friendly and helpful. The location is great - close to public transportation, an eco supermarket, restaurants and Casa Vincens.

Ok but not as convenient as advertised

Staff were nice and helpful. Room was quite small but ok. Bathroom a bit manky. One water bottle was only provided on the first day and never replaced. Hotel is very close to a metro station, but not the most convenient into town as you need to change stations. Breakfast overpriced, so we went to a bakery up the road. Good point: They provide you with a mobile phone with internet, helpful for making free phone calls and googlemaps. However, the phone internet was painfully slow and unusable half the time. Hotel is ok for a short stay, but there'll be nicer and more convenient hotels elsewhere in Barcelona.

Nice hotel

Good location near the metro station. Easy to find street carpark nearby. Room was clean and nice. Reception was very friendly and helpful but sometimes you needed to wait a while for service as there was only one staff there. Overall it was a very good hotel to stay to explore Barcelona.

Great hotel! Super clean, modern great internet and nice office-like collective area in front. Great friendly staff. Location is good. If you are a super tourist, you will want to be closer, but for just about any visitor, its awesome! And still only a 20-30 minute walk to typical tourist areas.

From the moment you go into the lobby you know you made the right choice. This place is perfect for a couple or a family, I went with my family. The front desk and staff are very attentive and professional. The place is very new age, trendy, and clean. It is not centered near the points of interest, BUT there’s a train station in the same block that will put you at La Rambla’s foot steps and every other point of interest in the city for 2€ in just 3 stops. Beds were comfy, soft and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much, would highly recommend )especially for the price). Also, has a lot of good cafés around it if you need a quick bite, laundromat and supermarkets.

Wonderful, nice hotel

The hotel is clean and very inviting. The people at the front desk were always so helpful and friendly, especially Paola. The room was clean and neat. The area was nice. I would recommend.

Perfect hotel and location that’s easy on wallet

The hotel was in a great location between 2 metro stops with plenty of buses within a 5 minute walk. Cezar was an extremely helpful front desk manager and made our stay great! The room was clean and comfortable. 24 hour tea and coffee was a great perk. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to BCN. Oh and the Handy smart phone is a great perk for internet, phone calls, directions and booking tickets to attractions.

Nicely dine for an inner city hotel.

Good value for American tourist. Everything in order, free espresso in the lobby. Rooms were clean, pretty quiet inside ( opening the window does let the big city noise in), everything worked well. close to mass transit entrances. I'd stay there again.

Chic hotel with great service

Chic hotel with warm service in the homey Garcia neighborhood -- great service, warm staff, and 24 hour coffee was a plus. Just a few stops away from las ramblas and old town -- would highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in quiet area of Barcelona, metro station very close but if you enjoy walking, 30 minute walk to city centre. Hotel extremely clean, modern, quite quirky!! Didn't do breakfast as lots of cafes near by. Would definately use again

Excellent quiet part of surburban Barcelona. Within a few meters of Placa Molina station. Area feels extremely safe. Easy walk to Gracia neighbourhood, with many local food options. Ask the front desk for recommendations. Excellent helpful front desk staff, 24 hour front desk. The heating/cooling is centrally operated: We visited in March, which was considered "winter" so we could not turn on the air conditioner as it blew hot air (the whole hotel was in winter/heater mode), but the window opens easily. Overall an excellent stay, would stay again.

Great hotel, good location

Over all experience of the hotel was good, very modern hotel, ideal location, 2 minutes walk from the metro, shops and ATM machine near by. Very easy to get from Airport to hotel (take the Aerobus-blue buses to Plaza Cataluna and the catch a metro (line- L7 direction Av. Tibidabo) and get off at Plaza Molina station. The staff were very helpful with anything that I needed.For a short stay this hotel is ideal. My only complaint would be that the bed was not so comfortable, apart from that this hotel is very good.

Better suited to the transient traveler

We stayed for a week which wasn't really catered for. Minimal storage, no drinks facilities in the room, a measly one bottle of water complements of the hotel on arrival. The rooms were clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast was pricy but pretty good. Gracia is nice and has its own cool community but not the most convenient location for getting into the heart of the city. Overall, it was fine but we would at stay elsewhere next time.

Really nice hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with 2 kids . Staff were very friendly , informative and very helpful with tips around town and help with booking events . Modern decor throughout the hotel, maximising the small spaces available . Had an issue with the safe which took longer to resolve than normal , but staff were helpful in all regards. really nice hotel located close to metro and restaurants .

I was traveling around NE Spain for work and happened about this hotel as it was bordering a neighborhood that was suggested to me for my stay. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in both sites to see over the weekend, places to eat and places to avoid. The hotel was overall in very good shape, with a little wear & tear. The only unsatisfactory part of my stay was the air conditioning in the room. It was unusually warm that weekend and the A/C did not appear to be up to the task. The last evening there became a bit too warm for sleeping.

Good location but unpleasant staff service

Good location with two metro stations just around the corner. The room is spacious with city view. However, attitude of some of the staff was not that pleasant. The shower system in the bathroom was not working well during our stay (Room 603), with water coming out from both the shower head and bathtub faucet. Besides, the shower head was a little out of control and water kept spilling out. We have told the hotel staff about the condition on the second morning of our stay but no one came to fix it. We then called the reception desk several times and notified the front desk staff again on the following days but our request was totally ignored. Other than that, the broken window handle was also not attended to.

The Hotel was a really nice Boutique Hotel, modern, clean, good value for Money. Very friendly Hotel staff. Location also great, you can reach the main Shopping streets by foot and also wander down to the beach and old City. Great for a Weekend stay!

Excellent location, starting to show its age

Great staff. Rooms are exactly as advertised. Stayed there in 2002 and Oct 2015. Definitely starting to show its age. The white rooms show smudges and dirt very easily. The bathroom also had signs of mold in the shower door hinges. Overall the rooms were reasonably.clean but could use some sprucing up.

Depends...

The hotel is great but neighbourhood is far from downtown and that means that not so many stores are open at night. Internet was not good but it was clean and some staff was really helpfull. Despite this, the bed wasn't a king size but single beds with a sheet putting these together. Terrible.

The good thing is that the hotel is right next to a metro station. The guys working there were kind of curt and didn't orient me to the hotel or neighborhood at all.

Too small for comfort

Well located for our purposes. Nice walk to good restaurants. Friendly atmosphere. But room was to small to stretch out. No blackout curtains. Very Ikea. Not bad but not great.

great spot

Cute and trendy. Nice clean neighborhood. Steps from metro, grocery store, bank machine, bakery and the gelato place beside it got well used. 3 metro stops from the main hub at the north end of La Rumbla, where you can also catch the airport bus. Get the T10 metro tickets as each ticket is good for over an hour. In Barcelona you exit each metro line before you connect to the next one. Individual tickets don't work for connections. Good, reasonably priced breakfast.

Great hotel, location and amazing staff

We loved the hotel from the moment we arrived. The hotel has a fun theme and guests feel very welcome and at home. We are three girls ages 24 and wanted to experience barcelona night life and explore the city. Zola who was on night shift when we arrived was very friendly and efficient at helping us check in. He was able to give us helpful advice about how to get to places, what was good to do in the city etc. We had a room with 3 single beds. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was powerful and it was overall a good bathroom. The location was great. Its a 2 minute walk to Polina station and Fontana is also close by. There is a bus (V15) that goes straight to the beach area/the W hotel. It is around 15 minutes in a cab to most clubs, las ramblas and the beach area for 10-15 euros. Overall a great stay and we are very happy we chose this hotel!

Nice stay in Barcelona

Great experience!! Close to 2 metro stations and very easy to find. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. We arrived in Barcelona early and left our bags and got directions to a couple of things we wanted to see. They had ice and a welcoming basket of fruit and water when we did check in. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only issue we found was an AC unit that wasn't fully capable of keeping up with 90 degree temps with high humidity. I would bring my own shampoo and conditioner. Overall a great stay.

stylish hotel with great staff

very stylish, clean, hotel, great staff. free coffee& bottle of water & apples at checkin was a nice touch. my 1st floor room had no wifi but the room on the 3rd floor had strong signal. a few minor blips with continnual key card problems but otherwise a great place.

Great boutique hotel

The hotel was in a very nice location with the metro right around the corner and just 2 stops from the city center. Neighborhood was safe and quiet at night. Beds were very comfortable and we always slept well during the 4 nights we stayed there. Room was spotlessly clean and modern. Staff was very warm and accommodating. Price we paid for (we got a good deal at hotels.com for booking early) was worth it. Only issue we had was the breeakfast which was on the expensive side considering the limited choices. But overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.

Short break

Thanks to the reviews I had read on this hotel I stayed there and everything was spot on!! The staff was absolutely superb! I had to phone to find out if my friend could check in before me even though the reservation was under my name.. The lady on the phone couldn't have been any friendlier. I felt like giving her a huge hug! Same with the staff at the check in desk.. By the way I love the fact that the check in area doesn't look or feel like the typical reception of a hotel. And definitely a plus the fact that you get free water, tea and coffee! Never seen that before -).. The only thing is the Internet in the room didn't work most of the time but it's not a big deal as I don't mind being off line sometimes. Great job guys!! Keep it up!! Thanks for making us feel welcomed

I found this place because the first 4 places were booked. I am so happy because of the location and the staff. the hotel is very modern in décor.i loved my stay there.
