Nice staff. Reasonable price. Close to shops and dining.
No soap or body wash in the room, called to have it brought up and never came. Pool was very cold. Could hear every toilet flush and use of running water all night and zero sound proofing. The breakfast was undercooked with no one cleaning tables. The room was $467 on Boxing Day (premium?). Easily the worst sleep and stay my family ever had.
Overall good
Just ok. Expensive hotel and a bit dated infrastructure. Bed was very comfortable.
Excellent spot in Canmore. We had a mind blowing view from our 4th floor balcony. Anna (I believe, front desk supervisor) checked us in and she was extremely helpful and lovely. We loved the room and our overall stay. We would stay again.
Good cost benefit. Nice location. Uses washable utensils on breakfast, what is great from eco-friendly perspective. Courteous staffing.
This is my first time staying here and definitely not the last. Other than the dining area was a little small and parking was challenging, the overall experience I had was amazing.
Lovely area and amazing reception staff
We booked during the holidays to treat the kids to a pool weekend. We had the room right beside the elevator and it was extremely noisy as people would gather and the elevator was slow so a lot of talking in the morning and evening. The pool was packed and loud as a hockey team was staying with minimal supervision and a lot of yelling. Breakfast was easy though very busy. Parking is free. Rooms were clean and big enough (suite with sofa bed).
Amazing food, staff and we love that it's pet friendly. We will always come back
Nice hotel. We have been before and it’s always good. Usually quiet. Breakfast is nice Our stay this time was over Christmas anf Boxing Day and very noisy with kids running up annd down corridors and shouting. Pool was too busy and noisy to use. Nit an hotel issue but if you want quiet stay away from weekends with holidays. Definition an hotel we go back to.
Prefect for families with the pool and breakfast. Easy to get to and good parking.
Overall decent. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was not bad.
Another wonderful stay at the Pocaterra, such a well run hotel and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The kids love the pool, and the breakfast is great. We’ll be back
We particularly loved the amenities which were included during the stay. I would say we had a very pleasant time staying with them.
Very nice. Comfortable. Courteous and accommodating staff
I loved it, great staff and comfortable rooms, but the bleach in the pool was too much. All the children were coughing and my eyes were itchy and watery. I don’t think it’s safe. Additionally, the temperature of the big pool was too cold for winter, this is a big turn down because it’s not enjoyable.
The one elevator is usually in high demand, so unless you take the stairs you’ll likely be waiting a while to go a short distance. Otherwise it’s a nice place to stay. Very clean and the beds are comfortable.
What a great hotel!! I love how they were completely pet friendly and welcomed our little pup. Breakfast was included and was amazing! Room was very clean and cozy. Loved the fireplace! The view was second to none. We also loved the complimentary bottle of wine. Front staff were so friendly and kind! We will definitely be back :)
Great location. Kids love the water slide. Nice front desk staff. Beds are decent. Rooms and hallways starting to be a bit run down. Upholstered benches in rooms are stained and should probably be replaced with something wipeable. Rink looked either dirty or possibly moldy. Rocky Mountain soap products are nice. Breakfast room is messy and it is do it yourself cleaning the tables however that is not posted anywhere. Suggestion to leave a cleaning station with paper towel, cleaning spray and hand sanitizer if guests need to clean the tables themselves. Love that hotel is pet friendly.
Average stay, pool super busy with kids. Kids heard throughout hallways all day and evening. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, wouldn’t recommend unless you have kids.
The beds in room were not Queen as it was in the description of the room. One of the Chair in the room was missing it's seat. The facility sauna was out of order.
Family friendly. We have a great time.
Nice hotel
The staff are kind, the hotel is clean and comfortable. It is very suitable for a family stay. We definitely recommend it. We hope they maintain their standards and even improve them further.
Great stay
Booked into a smoking room without asking. Breakfast was cold at 730an including “hot water”. But staff was polite and place was clean.
All over good
Great beakfast options
We were very impressed by the size of our room and it had a fireplace in it. We were only there for a quick one night stay but we were pleasently surprised with a kitchenette and a great continental breakfast.
Loved the upgrade
Breakfast 2/5, definitely needs to be worked on. Our room was in the basement and our window was so high up we couldn’t see outside. The front desk gentleman was very polite and helpful. Overall for a few nights it’s not a bad place to stay. 5 min drive to local downtown Canmore.
Easy to access , clean. Friendly staff
There was not much equipment in their gym as well as their sauna was out of service. Breakfast was good. Rooms were nice and loved the fireplace. Towels were always available at the pool area and staff were very friendly.
It was clean and the staff was friendly.
Modern amenities, good hot food, friendly staff.
The property was lovely had wonderful amenities made me feel like I was on a great vacation
Everything was as expected. Would stay again.
The room was very nice and quite different, had a fireplace and excellent climate control. The whole hotel was very clean, even the pool and change room areas. The front desk staff, in particular Anna, were very helpful with ideas on a good walk in the snowy neighbourhood. Highly recommended
Great facility; big pool & hot tub, excellent continental breakfast and large rooms. Family & pet friendly!
Amazing stay!
This is a great, clean hotel for families. We’ve stayed before and would stay again. Staff was very accommodating, and kids love the pool and Waterslide area. Breakfast in the mornings is pretty decent and they even have gluten free options which was great! Lots of kids and young families so definitely for that demographic.
It was a fantastic stay. The thing is the pool doesn’t have a shower where we can shower first before going in to the pool. The room that we have is a bit noise and the he exhaust fan was not working properly. But overall I love my stay here. Would be back again. And not to forget the staffs who were very accommodating and friendly.
Loved our stay, however, our room was close to the laundry room and the laundry was quite loud, late at night. Our son enjoyed the pool but it needs to be cleaned as i fished out a wad of hair and noted the bottom of the pool has a lot of dirt/sand/hairties etc. We loved the breakfast but the staff could do a better job cleaning tables for the next group of people, especially when its busy. Overall, we loved our stay in Canmore and will be back.
Really enjoyed this hotel the water slide was okay it had bumps in the seems where the tubes connect with hurts your skin. Also think they should have a screaming rule like most hotels. Pools open until 10pm however there were still kids in there going crazy right until close. Super loud when trying to enjoy the hot tub after a long day of sking.
The quiet inn was a lovely place to stay. The room had a firecplace and a balcony with a bustro set. The bathrrom was clean and large. The king bed was old though. The morning complimentary breakfast was well stocked with good options from scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles etc. To cereals, muffinfs and more. Parking was easy. The pool wasxa great size. I could even swim a few lengths. Thecwayer slide is fast and dark. The hot tub was large and a great way to end our day.
Waterslide was good. Jets not working for the hot tub. Rooms are renovated.
Great experience especially the indoor pool and the breakfast included!
Quiet clean hotel with a nice hot tub and sauna. Quick drive into Banff.
Great Hotel
Amazing hotel and amenities. Great Breakfast!!!
We always enjoy staying here. The included breakfast buffet is really convenient and has lots of options, including eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns or waffles, toast, bagels, cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juices. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, and fairly spacious too. The pool is a big hit with our son, with enough space to swim and play, plus a waterslide and hot tub. We also appreciate the ease of ample outdoor parking, so we can park our vehicle with our rooftop ski box without difficulty. We will be back!
The beds were comfy, but the little things like a drippy faucet and a dirty pool stood out for me
Breakfast was a nice addition!
Great stay - thanks!
The room needs some dusting cleaning.
Acceptable accommodation for the price. However, the recreational facilities were crowded and not well kept. Lots of youth group activity and noise. Good for families, less for business or older travellers.
Great location and hotel, need much improvement to the general cleaning
Good stop
Great place.. a little worn but excellent breakfast and friendly staff
Dusty, dirty. Was supposed to spend the weekend here for my anniversary and left after the first day to go stay in Banff. Got extremely sick after my first night here. The pool has no ventilation, the ladies washroom for the pool leaks rust water from the shower head, and my room was full of dust. I was having troubles with my shower and had asked to switch rooms and was told there was none available, but when I went down to the front desk at around 2 am because I couldn’t sleep from the sickness I was getting she had offered us to switch rooms right away. They gladly refunded me which made things better but overall will not be coming back here.
Great stay at Pocaterra!!
Nice clean quiet hotel with fresh cookies and tea and coffee in lobby. Breakfast was great!
Nice and clean. Wil be back
It’s a great hotel for families , Pool and water slide.
Loved our stay!
Our family had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Rooms were clean, well appointed, and our whole family love the amenities. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Excellent location within the Canmore/Banff area.
Nice place.
Enjoyable and good value
Very enjoyable stay. Every was in order.
Really enjoyed our stay! The room was big and very clean and comfortable. The water slide was fun for the kids; however, the amount of chlorine in the pool was overwhelming - everyone’s eyes were burning and lots of coughing.
Breakfast was great- lots of choices. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Service was great. Room was clean. Hallways could use a routine daily vacuuming.
This is a great place to stay in Canmore. Definitely one of the most affordable especially for familes. Has a pool and slide. Included breakfast which was nice..Our room was clean and comfortable.
It was very good.
We liked the breakfast but not enough tables for amount of guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy. Home baked cookies in lobby nice touch. More in depth dusting needed in room. Pool too noisy with kids; no adult only time. Furnace is loud. Loud garbage pickup is before 8 a.m. right outside our window. Trains very loud all hours of the clock right across the street. Phone in room didnt work. Not properly stocked for coffee etc upon arrival.
Great property, great pool and staff was awesome!
Great value for a family we love the pool and the waterslide and our dog. Enjoyed the stay as well. Breakfast was great.
Property was very nice, clean and the staff was great when we had problems. Parking was very limited, the breakfast was not great. It had several options it just wasn’t tasty
Hotel was great. Unfortunately we were unable to use the hot tub that we were looking forward too, but it is good to see so many kids having fun and really if you want to relax in the hot tub don’t go to a hotel with a pool when kids are on holidays.
Way too busy with kids to even think of enjoying a swim or hot tub
Tasty breakfast. Good location. I would give a rating of 3 (out of 5) for the price paid.
This property has 3 rooms in the basement with which they advertize with Expedia. There is a medium escape window, so no view. The staff are very polite about it and offer you a room with a view for $15 more or you can have your money back and please go look at the room and decide if you want it or not. Very friendly and up front. The room was very clean and fine. Enjoyed the overnight stay, but the Super 8 just down the street was only $10 more with a veiw.
Very nice thank you
Kind staff and clean area.
No hot water in room 103
The pool was warm! Breakfast was great! Liked the lobby cookies as well
Very roomy and cozy after a long day drive.
Quite and relaxing
I have been staying at the Pocaterra for the past 6 years. Anna on the front desk is my go to person for reservations and any concerns. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to coffee shops restaurants and downtown. Great view of Three Sisters.
Pet friendly/aware
Ok
We had the Superior King room with fireplace and jetted tub. Beautiful room.
Great place to stay
Great breakfast
Great hot breakfast and pool with a fast and fun waterslide. In-suite fireplace was a nice touch. Some renovations were underway during our stay, so there were flooring materials laying in a box near our room entrance. Seemed a bit out of place and messy to leave renovation materials lying around.
child friendly and attentive staff
We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The breakfast was great lots of options there is also a tim hortons right beside the hotel. We used the hot tub all 3 days and the water was super clean. Definitely will be going back
The breakfast was good. Cookies and hot chocolate value added. Price good. Enjoyed our stay.
We love Pocaterra! Its our go to hotel whenever we plan to go to Banff/Canmore. My son always enjoys the waterslide!
Very clean kids loved the water slides would go again
Excellent customer service and amenities. Highly recommend this place.
I like free parking and free breakfast and I love how close it was from Banff and other things.
I appreciate the front desk staff! Especially Karen. She was very friendly and helpful. The sauna did not get hot enough and I don't believe was working the best. Also, I think new bottles for refillable shampoos (etc) need to be replaced.
The price was great and it has hot tub plus sauna and hot breakfast! Awesome! Will be back, Thanks The Douglas family
We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bathroom very spacious. The Waterslide is very fast but we enjoyed both the pool and hot tub. There’s some life jackets and such available at the front desk which we felt was very convenient.
