Very good Hotel for the low price

Lovely little b b just off the main road.

Fantastic budget hotel with cool pool

For a budget hotel this was excellent. Smelt wonderfully fresh and clean that’s to the aromatic oils. Room was clean and spacious. The best feature however was the small pool next to reception which was clean and more importantly COLD! The only cool water in Thailand haha To come back from a day out and have a dip in this pool to cool off and refresh for the evening was bliss!

Good Quiet Location

Good location, quiet but just a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants. Best to turn left at the Mercury hotel and walk 10 minutes to the heart of Chaweng nightlife. Our room had a pretty serious ant problem which was dissapointing. When explaining to the staff they sprayed the room but not a lot else unfortunately. Room was modern and clean - great WiFi and good aircon. 7-11 less than 2 minutes walk away. Expect to pay around 300 baht to the airport in a taxi.

Great staff and nice hotel but we prefer an outdoor pool. The roof jacuzzi not enough.

Nice interior and friendly staff! Unfortunately though, the room smelled like mold and sometimes there were no pressure in the water pipes so we couldn’t shower. There were no breakfast and when we ordered and paid for it, it took forever to get it and it wasn’t very nice. Quite a walk from the Chaweng center. Otherwise good!

Perfect hotel, so comfy and clean

Good quiet hotel few min walk to beach

15 min walk to shopping centre 20 min walk to nightlife but only few mins walk to beach roof top pool is small but ok to cool off hotel us very quiet downstairs pool seems to be indoor decoration. Hotel is safe to walk back to and staff fine

Clean but the map location is deceptive

From the map it appears as if the hotel is along the beach: it's not (the real location is actually across the main street and next to Penzy Guesthouse). The resorts along the beach completely block access to the beach so you have to walk 1km north to a small public access road. That was really disappointing. Besides that, the room is nice and clean with good styling and a small kitchenette. The pools are actually quite small and more suited for relaxing instead of swimming.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very nice and extremely helpful. we would highly recommend staying here.

Friendly Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel with a definite boutique feel. Room was great, staff couldn't be more helpful and the price more than reasonable. Small criticisms; air con not as efficient as it could have been and the rooftop pool sunbeds a little tired. Overall great and awesome value.

nice hotel with interesting vibe

hotel is quite new and interestingly designed, room was clean and toilet was separate from bathroom and had a fan which was nice. a lot better than previous hotel I stayed in and worth the extra money.

Room for 3!

We were a bit limited for choice as we needed a triple. However this was an excellent choice. Good value nice room with everything uou needed. Very stylish, clean etc. The only gripe was the location which was at the opposite end of Chaweng to.the action (with no trade off in terms of nicer beach). Frankly only 20 mins walk away though!

Hotel close to Chaweng Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Ploen Chaweng. It was within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants on the main road, and 10 minutes walk to the beach! The size of the room was great, and it included a mini kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. The walk-in shower was also large. The balcony came in handy for air drying our bathing suits after a swim! The only complaints is that although the bed was large, it was a bit on the hard side; also, the walls are thin so we could hear our neighbor's TV at night. The worst part of our stay were the towels! They really need to be updated; they were thin and rough.

Hotel was nice, however the room was not cleaned, even if I asked them to clean it. The only thing they did was fix the bed, but didn't clean the bathroom, or the dishes in the sink. Sloppy for my taste. The internet had this annoying logging system, but worked OK. Everything else was fine.

Nice hotel. Close to shopping and food

The rooms are small but cozy. The staff is friendly but doesn't speak much English. It was close to the night market, within walking distance. The bbq that was within walking distance was good too

A beautiful hotel

The hotel is really beautiful and put many effort into details, but sadly the location is not good as I thought, and the sea view was blocked by others hotel, you need to walk 10 minutes to the beach.

The Gem

I enjoyed my stay, good price with excellent service. Even through the hotel is not right beside the beach (10 mins walk), you do not miss much that beach is super Dirty. The hotel is located on the chaweng area, great location; however, it is noisy at night. Must close all the window if you would like to have a good night sleep. Overall, it is a great experiece. A little gem on koh Samui.

Superb Boutique Hotel

a superb modern Boutique Hotel, 5 minutes from main beach,10minutes for shopping and nightlife, though there are plenty of bars/restaurants on the doorstep. Staff superb, they cannot do enough for you. Rooms amazing for the price, would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

Good value, clean and modern at affordable rates

Was pleasantly surprised by Ploen Chaweng. Very clean hotel and rooms, daily service, and good location just close enough to the nightlife in Chaweng, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. About a 10 minute walk to the main nightlife strip. Friendly front desk. Very good value to be had here; modern, clean hotel with friendly service at very affordable rates. Only gripe is that they didn't tell us not to throw away the glass water bottles, which get refilled, so we had to pay 100 baht for each of the two we threw away.

Amazing Ploen

The rooms were fabulous well decorated and comfortable and spotless. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and couldn't do more to make you comfortable and assist your new requeats

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

You must stay at this beautiful boutique hotel if visiting Ko Samui. This place is incredible, so cheap, extremely clean, modern decor, friendly staff! Not one thing I'd change about this hotel, we actually visited this hotel twice within 10 days

Trendy Hotel close to the Beach

It's a very nice hotel and quite new. The room/bathroom look very nice. The location is not the best if you are party people, as it is a 30min walk to the centre.

This place is on the quieter end of the beach. Most amazing staff. They literally made us breakfast at 2 a.m. multiple times as the hotel has 24 hr room service. Big, clean rooms.

Correct mais sans plus

Hôtel un peu éloigné des endroits qui bougent, literie pas terrible et chambre pas très bien isolé (on entendait une femme crier dans l’hôtel à 4h du matin -_- ) Le personnel est sympathique et l’hôtel dans son ensemble est propre. Avec une meilleure isolation la note aurait été bien plus élevée.

Der Pool auf dem Dach war kein wirklicher Pool, man konnte dort nur sitzen. Merkwürdige Frühstücksangebote. Große Baustelle im direkten Umfeld. Angestellte sehr nett und hilfsbereit,alles sehr sauber.

チェックイン時、フロントが駐車場の把握をしていなくて、他のホテルの駐車場を案内され嫌な思いをしたり、ありえない場所に停めるよう指示されたり、グルグル周囲を徘徊しなくてはならず大変な思いをした。次の日、別のスタッフからホテル裏に駐車場がある事を聞き、驚愕した。大変疲れた。

Convenient room and safe small hotel

Pros: good staffs and convenient room. Cons: Tiny swiming pool Overall goog for stayng a couple of days and takes 15 minutes to the beach.

Cosy

Étant 3 amies ,nous avons sejourné pendant 4 jours. Le personnel est accueillant, la chambre convenable, les coussins moelleux, une cuisine équipée. La piscine du haut ne permet pas de nager mais idéal pour tremper et se reposer. L'hôtel est à moins de 10min de la plage et à 15min du central market. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Nettes Haus mit Option nach oben

Leider scheint Englisch für das Personal nicht sehr wichtig. Einfachste Dinge konnten kaum besprochen werden. Von allen konnte nur eine Mitarbeiterin gutes Englisch. Das TV-Signal war auf den meisten Sendern sehr schlecht (hatte leider einige Regentage). Der Müll wurde NIE geleert. Nervig waren die ständigen Werbe-Autos mit überlauter Musik (Eye of the tiger) 24/7
