San Antonio fun

As soon as we arrived everyone very friendly and helpful. Front desk was great. Room was nice and the outside area is very comfortable and serene.

It’s a whole vibe

The whole experience was amazing! Starting with quick valet service to front desk personnel who showed excitement on our visit and our room accommodations made us not want to leave. The food is Amazing! Definitely Referring Others.

Great place to stay!

It was a little bit noisy Sat night since our room was facing the bar in the courtyard. The remaining nights were pretty quiet with good sound proof between rooms. Newly renovated rooms very clean and modern. The check in lobby is a little small though.

The property itself was perfect for my husband and I we had no complaints. Now due to the construction on the street that made it difficult to get in and out to the hotel and going to the river walk.

Excellent downtown hotel option

Quite pleased with this hotel. Room was comfortable with nice view to garden area. Restaurant food and service very good. Good location. Parked in a lot across the street. Parking in downtown San Antonio is high, but this option was better than hotel valet.

Great getaway weekend. Quiet but close to the riverwalk. Staff was very attentive. Pool area and bar was awesome.

Amazing hotel, but what made the trip better was the incredible staff that really cared and took care of all your needs. From the valet to the front desk, they all had a smile, we’re friendly and made you feel welcomed

Plaza - a great spot

The hotel was beautifully renovated. The decor and grounds were beautiful. The rooms were nice and spacious. Loved the patio off each room. The location is great for the local scene. Many food and drinks options.

I had an incredible stay at Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection! The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, and the spa experience was truly rejuvenating. A perfect blend of luxury and relaxation!

Great, stay. Although I wish they would charge an early check in fee for Marriott members it was a pleasurable experience.

The staff was rude. They over charged my card for incidentals. I woke the day after check in with 4 incidental charges with 1 room charge. Then front desk person told me they weren’t “charges”. I ask then what are they. She said “pending charges”. Refused to get management. Refused to discuss the itemized bill. When I came around the corner she was bad mouthing me to other guests. Nice. I contacted and contested every charge associated with this stay. I also contacted the property to refund my stay to Expedia. They banged room service carts down the hall at 3:30 am. So I didn’t sleep. My husband and Inwere getting away before my next round of chemo. So literally this is an not only an outrage but just heartbreaking. With staff like this, i you ou definitely will not be getting very far.

Nice hotel. The staff are extremely professional, courteous and friendly. I’m talking Four Seasons level of client satisfaction. The beds and bedrooms are comfortable and very chic. Will definitely stay here again.

Over all an awesome hotel, everything is walking distance.

Everything was perfect, except our check-in. The lady that checked us in was very rude to myself and to my wife, but that was the only instance we had besides that everybody else was very polite and very helpful.

Beautiful property, excellent customer service and great location walkable to the Riverwalk and the Alamo.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of Alamodome.

We stayed at the property when in town to attend the Alamo Bowl. We arrived at 2pm and even though check in isn't until 4pm, we were given a room. Very nice hotel.

Room did not get cleaned in the 2 days we were there.

We had had these reservations for about a month. When we arrived we were told that they had overbooked and were accommodating us at their " Sister hotel" the Kimper Santo hotel. They switched valet tickets to the next hotel and though we were missing out on our nice balcony room they gave us a decent room and did pay for it.. The next morning our car could not be located and turns out the valets had parked our car in a tow zone over night. It was towed outside of the city into a tow lot. The general manager had to accompany us and pay cash to get our car out. The whole procedure took about an hour and a half out of our vacation and we did not make our breakfast engagement. I would rather have paid to have gotten our balcony room and not have our car towed but it is what it is. I guess they shouldn't overbook rooms! We will not stay at either of these hotels again and will not recommend them to our friends.

One of the best stays

Stayed for 4 nights during Christmas, very clean hotel and everything looks new. Only 5-10min walk to the river, and located in a much quieter area than the downtown. Fulfilled my request for higher floor facing the tower, even though the train noise was still loud during the night which is out of hotel’s control. Spa is exceptionally good - it’s a tiny facility but we received the best massage compared to all the high end spa resorts/hotels that we had been to in the last 10+years. Price is very reasonable too. We found a small piece of plastic in our egg Benedict but the restaurant staffs immediately changed a new one for us, explained what was happened, and took out the charge from the bill - exceptional services. Free tandem bike rental with helmets / lock was a plus - really fun and great test to my marriage riding this bike for two hours for the “mission” . Thanks for the very nice hospitality, highly recommended!

Great for a romantic getaway

Excellent accommodations . Friendly and helpful staff. Mr Trinidad was super customer focused. Construction around property wasn’t attractive however our stay was what we needed.

Great place to stay

Overall, we had a nice stay, but the layout of the rooms is very odd - the entrance to the room opens directly into the bathroom area and the living and sleeping area is accessed by walking through the bathroom. There is a separate toilet vestibule, but privacy is definitely compromised.

Safe luxurious feel stay!

The staff was very friendly. The accommodate any need you may have. I traveled alone with my two teenage daughters and at no point in time we did not feel uncomfortable. Always felt comfortable and safe.

Everyone was so pleasant

Large property with a nice outdoor area to walk in or sit by the pool or outdoor bar. There's a nice on-site spa where I was able to book something last-minute. The bathroom in our room was very spacious and clean. Nice amenities overall. I'd definitely return.

Great stay at the Plaza

The Plaza is a gorgeous property that pays attention to every detail. The staff is all very friendly and willing to help in any way. Great pool, very nice gym and the spa is also a dream!

Amazing stay!

On arrival, the valet stared at a screen instead of acknowledging that we had arrived. Several of the valet employees were on their cell phones making personal calls. The front desk of the lobby staff were fantastic. We had two spa services. One was in the main room and the doors kept slamming while receiving an 80 minute massage which was valued over $250. There should be some type of system that the doors do not slam from other rooms so that the guest has to listen to that during, what I consider, and expensive 80 minute massage. The grounds are very beautiful, but, there was a lawn service around the spa area, which then left grass stains and loose grass all over the sidewalk that I was walked over to the other spa room. The spa employees were wonderful.

This is a very beautiful property in downtown San Antonio. The restaurant was wonderful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The people were very friendly. Staff was very kind and nice.

Recently renovated

It is a beautiful hotel and the beds were very comfortable. I was on the first floor, towards the front of the hotel, so at times I could hear cars driving by. Very short stay, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the amenities. It is walkable to Riverwalk, which is the reason I stayed at this location. I do enjoy my stays within the Marriott chain.

Great property. I would absolutely go again. Property is very nicely appointed. Staff is friendly and the services are all good. Three complaints. I was charged $50 foot early check in. The hotel was not busy and there was no reason for that. Parking is $56/day. A total rip off with no alternatives. Lastly, Alamo Street is completely torn up with construction. The noise was awful.

Beautiful property with lots of areas to relax and gather. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Only issue is I asked for an extra blankets and they said they didn’t have any and gave me an extra sheet.

Very friendly staff and LOTS of them. Immaculately clean and very convenient location. Uber is an easy in and out.

OMG! What an amazing property! I was there for a facility manager's convention, so we are hard to impress. This place is outstanding! Superior customer service. Lovely rooms. The landscaping by the historic tree on the way to the spa is beautiful.

The property was newly renovated & beautifully up-kept. The staff was super friendly & helpful.

The staff are amazing all of them! Excellent service, the Spa is so amazing and the personal touches for our Anniversary so such a special experience. The history on the property is really interesting from 1800s. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend you stay here and experience the hospitality you should when you stay at a hotel. Plaza San Antonio you guys ROCK!! Thank you 😊

Very nice hotel with a huge outdoor yard and pool considering the location. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is good too. On the other side though, the valet parking fee is outrageous. Street parking is limited, expensive and construction work everywhere. Parking here is more expensive than LA or NYC, it's ridiculous.
