The property was beautiful, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The only downside to this hotel is the location, a little far from the main attractions and restaurants.

Superb luxury hotel

Beautiful new hotel in an old university building next to a lovely park and easy access the Amsterdam's canal zone. Really superb facilities with top quality fit and finish and luxurious amenities. Terrific staff and probably some of the best food we ate in Amsterdam right in the hotel's restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

Stunning modern luxury

World class hotel, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Everything is simply perfect. The service is superb, breakfast all made fresh, gorgeous garden, and safe/calm neighbourhood. The rooms are fully sound insulated, with fine bedding and thoughtful night lights. The modern aspect of the hotel really comes across - everything works perfectly. It’s as if someone went through all the hotels, noted anything that annoyed them, and then fixed it in this hotel. A luxurious, gorgeous memory I wish to repeat!

Exceptional

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits is truly exceptional in every way. The architectural and interior design are sleek and sophisticated, the service is beyond comparison, the rooms feel fresh and new, and the food is excellent. We spent a fair amount of time in the "livingroom" looking out on the park, where lattes and baked goods are complimentary. We borrowed bicycles to ride into town and to ride to and from the Taylor Swift concert. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and happy. We could not have had a better four nights in Amsterdam staying at Pillows!

We absolutely loved Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits. The architectural and interior design are sleek and sophisticated, the service is exceptional, the accommodations are comfortable, and the good was delicious. We stayed in a luxurious superior room for four nights, availed ourselves of the bicycles they have (even rode them into town and even to and from the Taylor Swift concert), and enjoyed the “living room” which faces the park and where they provide lattes and baked goods at no additional cost. What fun! Who could ask for more?!

Living the Life

Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way to make everything right. The bed was very comfortable. My only concern was that there were no drawers and the bathroom didn’t have my space for toiletries. We ate in the grill restaurant one so. Er and breakfast, very good. We ate at Vanoost and it was an upscale dining experience.

Beautiful boutique hotel. A tremendous amount of thought and effort went into the interior. The bed and bedding were exceptional. The bathroom was meticulous although a larger trash receptacle is needed. The rooms are smaller yet comfortable. Exquisite artwork and mosaics throughout. The amenities including garden, sauna, eucalyptus steam, and pool made this hotel extra special. There is construction going on in the square which causes a little noise. Once the construction is finished the setting will be special.

Complimentary coffee and drinks all day in living area. Impeccable service. Exclusive bar area. Rooftop bar.

I booked a Jr Suite. It was perfect. The people working were great. The Spring restaurant in the hotel was superb.

Disappointing stay at Pillows - small rooms, opaque door to the bathroom, slow housekeeping - had to call twice for an iron, poor internet connection in room.

I travel extensively and this ranks as one of my favorite accommodations. The location is lovely, overlooking the park. Our room was the ultimate in comfort. Attention to detail and architectural touches made it feel luxurious. We liked that the toilet room was set quite far back from the bedroom, in the entry hallway. The sink and shower were located in a separate room. We enjoyed opening the window onto the park. We ordered room service several times, the food came quickly and was hot and delicious. All members of staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and welcoming. There is a lounge called the Living Room where coffee, tea and delicious cookies are on offer for hotel guests. Our stay was a total delight.

The property is immaculate and the staff is professional and attentive. Breakfast was a bit small for the price, but the "living room" was great with free espresso drinks and teas and it was very quiet and peaceful, right next to the park.

The staff made our short trip. They went beyond what was expected to make our trip enjoyable. They offered suggestions, snacks, toiletries and kind words. Everyone was willing to help us find exactly what we needed. The property is fabulous. Very roomy with high ceilings. Quiet and located in a safe neighborhood close to the main attractions

This property is beautifully presented - the recent renovation is stunning. We stayed in a room in the older part of the hotel, with wonderful high ceilings and a view out to the park. My only concern is the lack of work space - there is no desk or suitable chair, nor even a dressing table - so I had to work on the chaise longue at a coffee table, which was not great. The bathroom was lovely but - as usual - the make up mirror was positioned impossibly for any woman to easily reach. The staff are superlative - charming, friendly and helpful.

The welcome and check in was seamless and thank you to Lisa particularly who provided such immaculate service.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant Spring was beautiful at any time of the day. The hostess Sandra was lovely as was Deseree at the front of the hotel. I would stay again. Gladly!

Everything about my stay was terrific! The room was fresh, modern, impeccably clean and comfortable. Every single staff member was warm and eager to make my stay a special one. The location is a bit out of the center, but the tram is so accessible and easy to use. It's a great property with an amazing team of people!

難忘的住宿經驗！從沒住過飯店人員水準這麼高的，從下車起門口的飯店人員就親切的打招呼幫忙提行李，辦理入住時櫃檯人員也是親切招呼解說，在這住了兩個晚上是我最難忘的飯店。 房間很新，不算大，天花板很高沒有壓迫感。 浴室 和廁所分開，寬廣舒適。 床頭設有Type-C的充電孔。飯店有個Lounge 有提供咖啡等給房客使用。 來阿姆斯特丹這幾天風大雨大，本來壞了好心情，最後兩個晚上可說是讓整趟旅行有個非常完美的結尾。 這家飯店的同仁親切感是前所未有的體驗，下次去阿姆斯特丹一定會再次入住。

All great with breakfast as the best part. Hotel rooms are slightly too small. It located in the city center so you need to take a bike ride to town or a taxi.

Excellent! Staff very friendly & helpful with lost item! Room (Junior suite) not very big but very well equipped, comfortable, clean, modern. Tea coffee slippers bathrobe… Beautiful building, not too far from the center. Tram close by.

Very nice hotel

Hermoso hotel al lado de un parque. El personal es sumamente atento y se desviven por darte un buen servicio. Para visitar el centro de la ciudad, no necesariamente es la mejor ubicación, pero es muy conveniente si deseas estar un poco alejado del bullicio (está alrededor de 20 minutos de la estación central, viajando en el tranvía). La habitación me pareció más pequeña que su equivalente en Bruselas, y con menos espacios para almacenar. No obstante era linda, cómoda y con una hermosa vista al parque de al lado. Lo único que no me gustó es que era imposible apagar el aire acondicionado, lo cual me resecó mucho la garganta en la noche. El desayuno incluido me pareció bastante adecuado y rico, aunque el servicio del restaurante me pareció un poco descuidado.

Wunderbar schickes Boutique Hotel mit sehr, sehr freundlich engagiertem Personal und großartigen Restaurants. Das Parken ist wie überall in Amsterdam leider sehr teuer. In die Innenstadt läuft man 20 Minuten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
