The property is in an excellent location. Very close to the Spanish steps. Close to the Metro. Little cafes and restaurants everywhere, and supermarket only a couple of blocks away. Just a little bit of noise on the second night, which was bin night for the whole neighbourhood, and a little bit of noise from the university students across the road, which is to be expected. Staff at the accommodation were very nice, and very helpful. They recommended a lovely restaurant nearby.

Our stay was superb and we had a family of two kids ages 9 and 7. Staff was very responsive and friendly and we were able to work through our busy travel schedule. The breakfast was nice and we loved the location.

A hidden gem in 4 minutes walk from The Spanish Steps and 3 minutes walk from Spagna metro station. Wonderful service. Very clean rooms. Highly recommended hotel.

Starting from the beggining when the host Roxana contacted me in advance with a full description how to acces the room since i was arriving late. It made my arrival in Rome stress free. The room was very clean and cleaning was performed accordingly every day of my stay. Staff is very friendly and i want to thank everyone that was involved as it made our stay very comfort. Special thanks to Roxana once again for taking care of us. Recommed to everyone without hesitation.

The boutique hotel is lovely. The hostess, Roxana, is extremely attentive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to many sites like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and even to the Colosseum and Ancient City!

This hotel is in the perfect location in the city center! Tons of stores to go shopping and tons of restaurants to eat at as well! Everything was in walking distance! From the pantheon, Trevi fountain, the Vatican or even the colosseum. The room me and my fiancé stood in was very cozy and comfortable. The bed was the perfect size and pillows were soft. The AC works well and everything was clean. Perfect for the both of us. Our hosts Roxanne and Mariano were both very nice and helpful. They were very accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend a stay here and would stay again when visiting Rome!

We stayed here with a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious, we had a king bed in one room and a roll out sofa bed in the other room, with 2 bathrooms. Pretty affordable for the location and hotel cleanliness/privacy. The building outside was hard to find since it looked like a simple wood building with 2 big doors and no big sign for the hotel name (besides a small name tag on the side of the door). But I think that's just how Rome hotels are with the entrance. Anyway, it wasn't a big problem, our Uber was able to find the place with the address and GPS. The location was very close to the Spanish steps plaza and church. We were able to walk everywhere for food and all the tourist sites, ie. Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum, etc. Eat at any pasta or pizza place when you are in Rome, they are all amazing and delicious. The front staff lady was friendly and explained everything to us when we checked in, it was quick and easy. The room gets a little dusty with the wood flooring but it was fine, we just asked for room service to come tidy up the room. We would definitely come back to this hotel if we were back in town.

We absolutely loved it here! I he location near the Spanish Steps and Spagna metro made it super convenient. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. There is also a wonderful cafe just around the corner. Highly recommend both!

The property is at the heart of the Spanish Stairs. Hard to beat its location. The property itself is like an Airbnb, very limited services.

Fantastic location, everything in walking distance, 30seconds to spanish steps, 20 mins to Trevi fountain and approx 30 mins to colosseum, Vatican, Trastevere , perfect spot to stay, very clean, safe and easy to find and brilliant service from reception staff, highly recommend!

Was near to city centre. Within walking distance of main shopping road and tourist attractions . Plenty of choice for eating from expensive to average prices close to property as no facility at the property for meals . Kettle and fridge provided in room . Room was clean with a good sized shower room with toilet. Room could have been cleaned each day had we wanted . Room however was quite dark and on the small side .

Absolutely perfect

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The location could not be better at approximately 100 metres from the Spanish steps and about the same to the metro. The hotel felt like living in a Rome apartment. The room was very well appointed with fridge, modern large shower, comfortable king bed and hotel quality linens and towels.

the hotel is next to the Spanish Steps and very close to all other places tourists be wishing to visit and picture taking. the hotel front desk only open between 9am to 7pm, seems pretty odd; however, the front desk lady Roxana is so thoughtful and helping to arrange our transportations from the airport and to the cruise ship port. the hotel room as we stayed in isn't updated like other hotels. But remember, the hotel buildings in Rome are not new, except you are willing to pay a lot more. Actually the room we had is pretty big and over `2300sqft. We are very happy with the service for the price we had paid. thank you to Roxana.

The staff was amazing

Our room was very clean & comfortable. The in-room coffee maker worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason we didn’t check excellent in all categories is because I like to journal about the previous day each morning and there was not a space to do that in the Hotel Reception. Truly, all I had to do was walk around the corner to a little café/bistro, which was quite easy, but that’s why we chose “good” and not excellent in all categories.

Great location for high end shopping.

Location was absolutely perfect, close to the main attractions and located at the part of the street where it was fairly quiet. Check in/out was a breeze. The receptionist, Roxana was super helpful and nice to deal with and even arranged a private transportation for us last minute. Our room was surprisingly very spacious, comfortable and very clean. We highly recommend this place!!

This truly charming property is right in the heart of Rome. Steps from the spanish steps, with access to taxis, food, shopping, and major sights within a short walk. The staff was pleasant and the room was quiet, everything you could ask for in a hotel room in a city as busy as Rome. Would stay again!

Good stay.

This property was right next to the Spanish steps. We walked everywhere, it was safe, clean & the hotel staff were super friendly and pleasant to deal with. It’s a very small boutique hotel at a reasonable price given the area. Close to high end shops, tons of restaurants and walking distance to most of the big attractions. Highly recommend & would stay here again for sure!

Great location for sightseeing. Very friendly staff. Like all of Rome core, it is not easy to reach by car (especially without navigation) and no parking nearby.

We had a very comfortable 3 night stay at Suite de Charme. The location enabled us to arrive there, with ease, using public transport from Ciampino airport and Roxanna helped to make sure that both our arrival and departure went smoothly. Please note that it is up a small hill and the Spanish Steps are right outside so if you have a stroller or mobility issues it could be difficult to traverse, likewise with the building itself as there are steps up to the rooms. The bed in 203 was very comfortable, exactly what we needed after walking an average of 25km a day. The shower had good pressure and heat, although we couldn't find instructions on how to use the steam function. The air conditioning was much needed during our stay and we were grateful to have it. There is a supermarket near by (open until 11pm) which made getting a few staple groceries possible and a mini fridge in the room meant we could store them safely. I would definitely consider a return stay.

This property is around the corner from the Spanish Steps, in an unassuming building. It's far enough from the steps that it is very quiet, but close enough to be convenient. There are a Metro station (Spagna), a bus stop (Tritone, best the Trevi function) and 2 taxi stands close by, so getting somewhere is a breeze. Numerous dining and shopping options are nearby.

We were challenged to find this hotel because it does not have a typical hotel appearance. Thus there is no ambience. Once we were in the room, it was comfortable and clean. The hosts were very pleasant and explained everything well.

This property was a wonderful surprise. We couldn’t get closer to restaurants and shopping. The room, bed and linens was very comfortable. Most impressive was Roxana. We didn’t prepare and the taxi did not drop us off near the hotel so we had difficulty finding the front door. We called and Roxana walked outside to find us. She was also very accommodating on our last day as we ran into bad traffic. She communicates back very quickly. Thank you Roxana

We stayed 3 nights. Small rooms, but very nice. Front desk is only there during business hours, but she left a number in case of emergency, which never occurred. Just steps away from the Spanish Steps, but tucked around a corner enough that it feels more secluded. There is also a metro stop half a block away, which made it very easy to get to Vatican City, Termini (train station), or the Colosseum within a few minutes. Shopping from Dolce & Gabbana and Versace to more affordable options. All within a minute walk. Plenty of delicious food and gelato also.

Fabulous location, walking distance to all the main sites and metro station. Room was great and the hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We made such a great decision on this property, around the corner from the Spanish Steps. Can't say enough about the staff, Rox was outstanding and extremely helpful, the same with the gentleman that was there the next day, sorry I didn't catch his name. The pictures on line don't do justice the room, it was spacious and the bed super comfortable. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family. This was a 5 start all the way.

What a wonderful place to stay. Staff so accommodating! Right in fashion district if you are in Rome for designer fashions. Metro right there to travel to other sites in the city! ❤️❤️❤️

Outstanding stay- can recommend with confidence

The whole stay was outstanding and have already recommended the hotel to friends. Communication beforehand was prompt and easy, as was check-in. The hotel and staff were brilliant- great location near Spanish steps, lovely room, comfortable bed etc. I cannot speak highly enough of the place and will book again whenever we are back in Rome.

Most beautiful, clean, lovely modern hotel - felt luxurious and in the middle of everything, but quiet side street. Much better than expected. Really perfect in every way.

Getting there was a bit of a challenge because the driver that we ordered through the hotel never showed up. I recommend just Uber there but ask for late check in. I believe they charge a little extra for that. Roxanna was the manager who was very sweet and she went out of her way to check us in. She was very apologetic and was very attentive to our needs. The hotel was not what I was expediting from the photos, but it kind of seems like the norm for that area in Rome. Very small- thin walls. I heard my neighbors multiple times during my stay. My first morning, I woke up to what sounded like construction- which lasted the whole day. The bathroom could offer more amenities and better towels. They did accommodate me, as I left to visit a couple other countries and was able to leave my luggage. Another small issue is with Expedia book now, pay later, it says you will pay in cash upon arrival. However, shortly prior to arrival, I was contacted to put a hold on the card on file. Upon arrival, I was asked to use my card, but I had already gotten cash as I expected to pay cash because of how it was booked.

Nothing good to share

Very convenient check-in at a pre-agreed time. The booking info promised slippers and coffee/tea maker but there were not any. Excellent location for all main attractions, no need to use public transportation at all but if needed, a metro station is 3 minutes away. Fabulous eatery just around the corner open 8-21. Not really a hotel, a few converted rooms in a residential building, gives you privacy and was very quiet. Comfy bed, our room was made every day even if we did not request it. Staff changed all towels even if they were not on the floor. Very good wifi. TV stopped working after first evening but we did notmind (and it could be just our inability to properly navigate the two remotes). Would stay again.

Great location only metres from the Spanish Steps, which was perfect for walking everywhere or catching buses as required. Very clean, modern room with an extremely comfortable bed and quality linen. It is not a hotel but a room in an apartment building. Helpful, friendly staff who are in attendance during the day.

This hotel was fantastic. Small and in a quiet area but less that 2 min walk from Spanish steps and about 10 min walk to Trevi fountain. The room was very nice and clean. Beatrice was amazing and very helpful. Nothing was too great an effort and she gave us lots of information regarding where everything was. She was very accommodating and helpful. Would definetly stay here again.

Beautiful rooms and great location steps away from the Piazza Spagnola, restaurants, bars etc. The one thing to know is that the hotel reception hours are limited. They do not have someone on site to check-in after 8pm. You need to arrange in advance so that they can coordinate someone to be there. And there is a cost of €25. €70 if you use their taxi service which will do the check in and give you hotel/room keys. Now this service was amazing! Beatrice at the front desk and Crino (our taxi driver) were great. But the need to pay the extra for late arrival was a surprise to us. Perhaps it’s something Expedia should mention when booking.

This place is amazing! The room is spotless, very modern and spacious. The location is 30 seconds from the Spanish steps and to top it all off Beatrice was so helpful; she even gave us several recommendations of places to eat. I will definitely stay here again!

great location

This property is close to many of the main tourist attractions in Rome, it’s located in a great shopping district, and is next to a metro station. It is the perfect location for a stay in Rome, especially when you are pressed for time. The staff are very friendly, prompt and professional.

Perfectly tucked away in a convenient area!

Perfect location only seconds from the Spanish steps... the trevi fountain and colosseum are an easy walk too! We Loved Beatrice and how tucked away the hotel was but yet so close to the main attractions.

The hotel is in a great location. Even though it is close to the Spanish steps, two minutes away, it is around a corner and quiet. We were greeted when we arrived and treated nicely. All in all a nice place to stay. The only thing not great for me was the shower. I’m tall and I didn’t fit in the shower well also the valve was complicated. I would highly recommend the place

The staff were absolutely amazing! They arranged transportation for us, were helpful with us finding places to eat and things to do. The room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed. We will definitely return when we come back to Rome.

Fav hotel in Rome

I visit Rome every year and I have been staying at this property for a couple of years now. It is right off Piazza Spagna and in the middle of the best shopping and restaurants Rome has to offer.

Location was amazing and the people were kind and thoughtful.

Very nice and helpful staff--easy check-in process, and when we asked for help with the air conditioning, they even gave us an extra key card to leave in our room so that it wouldn't shut off every time we left the room. Very nicely decorated room, and a good location for a good price. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel next to the Spanish Steps

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff and location were excellent. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaints are that the walls are very thin and the shower is a little tight, but the area is suprising quite at night even though it is right in the centre, so I was still able to sleep well. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel stay was made great by the staff: Beatrice and Mariano. Beatrice was beyond excellence. She communicated well and was very personable. She not only cared for her work but was a people person. She and Mariano were very welcoming. If for anything, I will stay at that hotel because of these two wonderful personnel. The hotel room was small but it was very clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Great stay

Great hotel, Superb location near the Spanish stairs.Very clean room and very comfort bed. Two minuses: The bath is very narrow and the walls are very thin so you can hear the reception and the adjacent rooms.

The room was quite small. The shower is almost too small to use. The bed was very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The area is most likely the best in Rome, central to all attractions.

Stepping into ROME

Our Driver via our Transfer from Rome (FCO) Airport doubled as the Concierge. Picked us up and settled us into our room. Literally at the bottom of the Spanish Steps we were in the heart of the City. Our room was clean and comfortable, Staff were very nice and helpful. Cannot beat the location, close to public transport, most of the sights are walkable! So many Shops, restaurants and Basilicas nearby. Since we threw a coin into the Trevi fountain, chances are We'll be BACK!

A pleasant surprise in a great location - just off the beaten pah but just steps away from the Piazza di Spagna. we had a suite with two rooms and two bathrooms, both were very comfortable, modern, and spacious. The staff was courteous and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in Rome.

Our first time in Rome. We will be back next year and intend to stay at Suite de Charme again. It was outstanding. The staff were exceptional (Beatrice and Joe). The building manager was lovely too. Walking distance from all the sites. We discovered gorgeous cafes and boutiques in a 2 minutes walk. Spanish Steps just there, Pantheon up and around the corner (we stumbled across it!). We loved it all. Highly recommend this hotel. :-)

Wonderful Stay

Cosy hotel in an awesome location. Mere minutes to Piazza di Spagna. Walking distance to attractions, shopping and good food. Warm and friendly staffs at the hotel. Room was lovely with all the relevant amenities I will definitely stay at this hotel for my next visit to Rome.

Awesome experience

Everything was great. Would absolutely stay here again. My one negative was the laundry service cost a 100 euros for normal clothes!!! Not dry cleaning. I wish that was communicated before committing to the service.

The hotel is very secure and private. The rooms are amazing. Very spacious, comfortable, modern furniture, great view, nice modern shower and great interior design. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Rome for the first time

Staff was lovely, very clean, renovated rooms. Was in a condo bldg so was nice and quiet. Worth the price - great value

i will never come back

too noise during the night, no receptionist 24 hour just during the date, no breakfast in the hotel, you have to go in a bar in the corner. Definitely not raccommended for a business trip

A nice room spoilt but rude staff

While the location was great and the room nice enough, rude staff and an inadequate manager who made mistakes with the bookings and with no apologies ensured a poor start to the break. Considering the number of nice hotels in the area I would consider picking something else with pleasant staff who understood customer service. To be very clear, this is not a hotel but a bed and breakfast (technically without the breakfast), as the breakfast is served in a shoddy bar 5 minute walk from the "hotel".

A delightful little gem in the heart of Rome

The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were upgraded free of charge to better rooms. The location is perfect, within walking distance to major tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is at a little cafe not far from hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Rome again.

Great location and value for money

We had a fantastic experience over 3 nights in May 2016 at Hotel De Charme due to excellent service, location and amenities. Our family of three (myself, wife and 9-month-old daughter “Bambino”) were on holiday in Rome for the first time. Location: excellent - only a minute walk from Spagna metro station, the Spanish steps, shopping and restaurants. Spagna is also only 3 stops from Termini station (the Central station from which one can travel to the airport or connect onto regional trains). Service: From the time we entered the hotel at 8pm, we were greeted immediately by the friendly reception staff, despite the fact that the official reception hours are 9 am to 6pm. After 6pm we have keys and swipe to enter our room. The staff confirmed our airport transfer the morning of leaving without any hassle and were happy to help with any queries. Amenities: The room itself was spacious, clean, had fast, free wifi and a large TV which we didn't get a chance to watch much because our Bambino kept us busy! We also had a shower which doubles as a sauna, together with Bluetooth connectivity to play your favourite music! Tea, biscuits and sweets were complimentary. We have no doubt that we would stay here again - excellent value for money.

Great location in Rome

Very nice hotel and great staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Room can be a little noisy when people check-in or talk outside the room, so earplugs are recommended. Shower is tight and complicated but ok once you get used to it. The hotel is a very good value located in a superb location for sightseeing in Rome.
