I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week at Piata Uniri Cozy Inn, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. The manager, Alex, was exceptional—he was incredibly patient, considerate, and professional, ensuring every detail of my stay was handled with kindness and attention. Despite its prime central location, the inn is remarkably quiet at night, offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of Bucharest. I felt completely safe coming and going, even after dark, which added to the comfort of my stay. When the temperatures dropped, the heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and inviting. The location is unbeatable. There’s a 24-hour supermarket just a 10-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. All the restaurants, bars, and cafes in the heart of Bucharest are literally just a short walk away—just across the main road. The property itself is impeccably clean, a true reflection of the team’s dedication to maintaining a high standard. It’s rare to find a place that combines such an amazing location, outstanding hospitality, and an environment that feels like a home away from home. Without a doubt, this place deserves a 10/10. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming, comfortable, and perfectly located accommodation. Thank you, Alex and the entire team, for making my stay so special!
Really good location , near the city center and plenty of restaurants , food markets , cafes , bars , ect nearby . Check in instructions provided with enough detail so that will no be any mistake on how to locate/access the accommodation. Staff was helpful . My room was not so new and may need soon some renovation , but on the other hand the price per night was quite fair .
Basic, but ok
Perfect location
It’s a very simple room that is close to everything. Easy check in.
Nice and affordable place conveniently located
Nice little hotel, 10 min walk to old downtown. The room was small and minimalist, but clean, ok for the money paid. Negative: no soap in the room.
The service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I arrived early and saw a few men smoking and eating and drinking outside, so I asked if they could check if my room was ready. It was 6pm. No one even came over, I was bluntly told “No 3pm”. I asked if they knew what room I was in. I got told “Yes”, which was impossible, as they didn’t know my name. I then asked very politely if I could leave my bags and get lunch. Again I was told bluntly “No. Go sit outside”. After sitting outside for thirty minutes. I decided to go back in and speak to the owner. I explained to him, I had booked a private room for a few days and that I’d been on a 21 hour journey, I very politely said I understand his point and would really appreciate if he could just hold my bag, so I could get some food. He looked at me with disgust, “You understand nothing. You don’t understand, if you did, you wouldn’t be so disrespectful and come to me a second time. I have better things to do then see if your room is ready or hold your bag”. I was shocked that this was the initial service I was getting. But I was polite and shook his hand and stated I meant no disrespect. I went and sat back down with my bag, after 10 minutes he came out and said he’d look after my bag. The property itself wasn’t bad, although I could feel the springs through the mattress, but this initial treatment meant that after my three days booked I looked elsewhere.

Ok.
Ok. Just ok. Best budget value option.
Gracias Michael , nos hicistes sentir como en la Argentina, Eres muy buena persona , y muy agradecido por ayudarnos
We had to attend a funeral and this hotel was nice, convent and at an excellent price.
Great value for money. A clean room - comfortable bed Great communication Would highly recommend to solo travellers or couples
Good place bad staff
The hotel was reasonable and was close to city centre. But both the guys at reception were so weird and angry for some reason. The guy checked us in did not even say hi. Just who booked the hotel. Give me your document. Go that is your room. Same thing happened next day. The guy at reception was who are you what is your room go to your room.
Excellent value. Such a clean, chill, nice and convenient place to stay. It was the perfect way to land in Bucharest. Mulţumesc!
Bocked for 4 nights in a single room on the first floor. Room was spacious with a wardrobe and en-suite. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable. In my room was a skylight, so if you're planning on sleeping in you might get the full force of the sun to wake you up. There is also a TV in the room but I actually unplugged it as the red stand-by light bothered me. So I never used it. Check-in was uncomplicated, just show up after 3pm and someone will let you in. Super nice staff (reception and cleaning personnel) The courtyard is nice to sit at during spring/summer but there is no common area inside. The only downside, at least for me, is that there is no luggage storage at all. Public transport is almost at your front door and all major sights are in walking distance. some might take longer but it's doable. I can definitely recommend staying there in a single room.
Basic property, nothing fancy but good value for the price. Front- desk staff was friendly.
Nice staff and a clean comfortable room. Good value-for-money.
When we arrived we were told our room had bed bugs, so had to sleep one night in another room but move to the fleas room the following day. We had plans all day the next day so had to cancel them to be able to move. We had to take all our valuables with us as we had to leave a key in the unlocked room as there wasn’t a spare. Absolutely shambolically run place
Reception is a real problem. I dropped off my bag at 1030am, it was OK. I came back at 430pm to check in. Reception was closed and no response to buzzer. At 930am reception was closed for check out.
The amenities are basic but i believe it is fair considering its daily rate. The main advantage of the property is its location. It is a walking distance from the old town center and a walking distance to different public transportation stops (Metro, bus & tram). A great choice if you are planning to tour around Bucharest & spend minimal time at the hotel.
The email they were supposed to send me giving me the gate security code wasn't sent so I had to wait for someone to come out through the gate so I could sneak in. Later on when I went out another locked out tourist did what I had done, sneaked in when I left. It's shockingly bad new arrivals are left locked outside on the street.
Had to extend my stay with a day due to as mistake on my part which was done swiftly and promptly. Hotel is nice and simple, a bed and tv and decent shower (although warming up the water could take some time). Close to old town and as such plenty of restaurants, subway access and a bus that goes directly to the airport.
The Cozy Inn is in a brilliant location with easy access to Old Town. The room was not clean with cobwebs, dust and dead insects. The room was not cleaned throughout the stay. Towels and toilet roll were not replaced throughout a 3 night stay without having to ask for them. Hand towels were not provided. We had to request a bath mat as the shower leaked all over the floor as this was not provided initially. The staff seemed surprised that our aircon was on on the first night as it was meant to be broken, but we were not informed of this on check in. The aircon was very temperamental throughout the stay. We did not receive the welcome email with check in details and had to call them when we arrived as the hotel has a locked gate to enter. The staff were happy to help when asked for assistance. Would definitely visit Bucharest again but would not stay at the hotel again unless they make some amendments.
Outstanding value for the money!
Had stayed at this place before and will surely stay again. The room was clean and had all the basics, including air conditioning, large screen TV with premium channels fast Wi-Fi was and a mini-fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located within short walking distances to the center of Bucharest, to the metro station, to the express bus to the airport and to the Old Town. All of these for a cost that is much lower to other places in the area.
Great value for the money!
This place offers great value for the money! Nothing luxurious but a basic place to crash at night! It is clean, it has air conditioning, premium TV channels, it is located in a safe area right in center of Bucharest and within a short walk to the Old Town! All for a fraction of the cost of other places in the area.
Value for money
You get a comfortable room in a great part of the city for very little money. Rooms are basic but good sized, had comfortable beds, tv, working toilet and shower and even air conditioning. If you're looking for budget accommodation in Bucharest this is a very good option.
The worst experience ever!
Even though I wrote an email to this hotel letting them know that I’ll be arriving after midnight, on my arrival I could not get in. Had to look for another place to stay at!!!
This hotel is amazing value for money. Friendly helpful staff.
Ok. Not great, not bad.
Ok. It’s ok for the price. Basic and no frills. Good if you don’t expect much as you usually get what you pay for.
Clean and affordable hotel in a historical building, an excellent location. very close to downtown. close to subway, mall, restaurants. Friendly and efficient staff.
This is a great value, clean and convenient to Old Town
Owner never meet me to let me in the apartment
The owner of the apartment never responded when I got to the airport and then to the building. He/she emailed me two days before my arrival time to call them when I got there to let me in the apartment. I only new the address for the building, not the apartment number. I texted and called many times and there was never an answer. I had to book another hotel. I am very dissatisfied with this place.
.
Greedy owner Dont know what customer service mean
Booked a room with the "wheelchair accessible" filter on. Found a cheap room.(too cheap to be true). Just to find out the access had 2 spets up two steps down (and more steps in the hallways). We asked for our money back, owner says its only 1 easy step to access the room, and wont give us our money back. Check the reviews, the greedy owner made these things before with other unlucky travelers.
I had reserved this hotel for my brother who is an Ukrainian resident and had to flee from Ukraine to Romania because of the war. He got stuck in the border and couldn't arrive in Bucharest in time, so we contacted this hotel and asked them kindly to change our date and postpone for 2 days. The manager was extremely rude and rejected us with the most terrible way. He had the right to not accept our request but the behavior was definitely unacceptable specially due to our situation.
Great Budget Hotel
So let's begin, This is a fantastic budget hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and the location is perfect. A 5 minute walk from old town centre, 2 minute walk from supermarket. Can't really fault anything because the price is so reasonable. Dont understand people with negative reviews expecting 5 star luxury accommodation for £20 a night. You get what you pay for and that is a clean room, clean towels, clean bedding, shower, TV, clothes cupboard. Perfect place for solo travelers but also families as this is now a hotel with individual rooms and no longer a hostel.
Nice staff
Really friendly staff
GREAT LOCATION AND PRICE
Great central location. Basic rooms but good size and clean. Very good for the price.
It was really good deal, close to subway and all public transport, 5 minute walking to city centre. I recommend 👌
It’s not a place for staying if you are tourist . It’s not good location , not clean , not good service
Good hotel in town
Excellent service, the staff is very caring.
Good safe choice in town
God service, very safe measures, not only covid19 measure, also overall.
Muy sucio y deteriorado
Se si vuole spendere poco e restare in centro può essere un giusto compromesso
Disappointing stay
Easy accessibility due to the location in the center of Bucharest. Room and bathroom clean. But at the entrance to the room: the radiators (room and bathroom) were cold, the hot water was not there, the TV remote control was dismantled, a light bulb was missing on a lamp on the bedside table. The person at the reception was unfriendly (when notified about the malfunctions found in the room, he said to wait for the malfunctions to be fixed in the heating supply systems and nothing can be done about the remote control!!). He said he could not offer all the conditions at this price. Later the problem with hot water was fixed, the remote control was tied with tape, but the radiator in the bedroom remained cold for all 2 days!! of stay. I slept in the cold during the winter.
Great location
A lovely budget hotel with great location, only a few minutes walk from old town. Clean and comfy beds. Very affordable, would definitely stay here again.

Clean but basic accommodation which represented good value for the amount paid. Only negative was that there was no soap or shower gel provided.
