siness | Solo Clean rooms. Super clean beds and sheets. Small but comfortable. The location is good. Can grab drinks and good burgers hotel on ground floor.

Rude staff. Horrible experience during the check out. They tried charging us 200 bahts for a dirty towel

simple, good shower comfortable no luxuries just what you need

Excellent location. Big rooms,I had a mountain view room which was nice and quiet. So close to shopping centre and market.

Good location Clean and quiet Good air conditioning

The only good thing about the Phoenix Grand is that the room was spacious and had a great view. The let down was the neglected common areas. The place felt Like a backpackers hostel. Doors were slammed through the night and on many occasions people were screaming in the common areas in the early hours of the morning. I had the buffet breakfast twice in 13 days as they did not have much variety. There are other places down the road serving better breakfast for similar price. This could be a great hotel if it was better maintained which would hence attract a better clientele. I cannot fault the position as it is literally around the corner from the Banzaan Market, Jungceylon shopping centre and only a short stroll to Bangla Road and Patong beach.

Couple holiday

Great location, rooftop pool on the 9th floor was nice and refreshing, breakfast was average but room was clean and comfortable. Very good value of money.

Good location but bad policy

Good location, not too close to the Bangla Road so it is not noisy but not too far from the beach (about 15 min walk). The only complain is that they have the policy that if you damage or lost towels you have to pay but the problem is that when the clean the room they took out 2 towels and only replace 1 and when we call front desk to complain they said that we lost the towel and want us to pay. We have to spend time to explain to them and finally they did not charge but we have to count the towels every single day to make sure they replace the same number of towels they took. Another problem is that they provide only 1 key and you need that key in the slot for electricity to work and it is very inconvenient if one person want to go out and one person want to stay in the room. We ask for additional key and they said it will cost 500 baht (about $18 dollar with is almost the same price of 1 night) so it is ridiculous. Also, it is very easy to forget the key in the room when you walk out and the door automatically slam shut.

Good and near everywhere

It was just super super super basic, the design of the bathroom was not very thoughtful. The aircon is the worse as it can be roaring through either at nights or day time. Front desk staffs attitude was just so so. So will not really recommend this hotel to people At All.

Good hotel to stay

It's very comfy place to stay close to everything in the heart of patong the swimming pool has awesome views in general I'm happy with the place and my next visit I'm going to stay there again .

Very good for the price. Close to everything. You can walk to the bar area and the beach. It is also located next to a mall. Quiet and clean room. I would not complain for this price.

Could benefit from a better pool schedule and pool needs better maintenance.

Simple but quiet

Hotel is simple but in perfect location at the end of Bangala road. Quiet enough to enjoy but close enough to everything. Be careful renting motorbike from the place just outside the hotel as they are a bit cheeky and kept our deposit over a minor scratch that we did not do. Lesson learnt.

We were moved to their sister hotel the Mirage upon our arrival as the Phoenix Grand was fully booked. I found this absurd cos we booked it in advance. The stay @ Mirage Hotel was "ok" but there was a stench from the toilet but happily moved us back to Phoenix Grand the next day Location: convenient, just find Patong (Bangla ROad) Boxing Arena. Surrounded by eateries (a local fresh market called Banzaan) with a weekend night market A lot of convenience shop i.e 7-11, 77 mart, 99 mart Opposite Bangla road And 100 m away from Jungceylon Mall Service: receptionists are very friendly, helpful, honest We checked out at 12 noon but helped to offer us concierge service and shower (towel provided) at no cost as our shuttle to airport (250 baht per person) was at 6pm Breakfast: so so, but it is cheap enough to preBOOK during booking as many other on the spot Buffet Breakfast will cost you 200 baht per person (we paid an approximate 160 baht for 2 persons per day) Cleanliness: clean toilet and room only improvement is towel - need to be clear of washing detergent/ chemicals bed sheets: can see stains Bed: a king size bed, good quality with 2 pillows, above the normal standard of a budget hotel Price: worth what you paid for Overall: recommended as location and services are great

Nice, clean, new hotel

Nice, clean, new hotel. Close to all amenities such as Bangla Rd, Jungcelon shopping centre, restaurants/cafes/bars, Bangla boxing stadium and Patong Beach is only a 10 minute walk. Staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast has all the basics and good value at 200 baht. Nice rooftop pool. The only downfall is the rock hard bed. Very uncomfortable and it gave me a sore back. That's the only reason for me to not stay at the hotel in the future.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in

The staff at the hotel couldn't be more unhelpful or rude. The bedding was dirty and not changed throughout our stay. We turned up one night with our door left wide open, luckily nothing stolen, we were told the manager would be in the following morning and we would be able to speak to them. The next morning, we went down to reception and were told the manager is not in, we were questioned as to why we wanted to speak to them, and the woman at reception was insistent that I would not be able to speak to them. She was essentially blaming us for the door even though I specifically remember double checking the door. The only positive thing I can say is when we asked to change rooms after the incident they did allow us to. During our stay we had booked an early morning excursion for which we requested a wake up call, no wake up call was given, instead we had to get ready in less than 10 minutes and rush downstairs.

Nice pool

Not 4 Star... no chairs in room or balcony furniture. No umbrella poolside & no pool bar or restaurant... decent room size but lacks key amenities ( chairs etc..). Nice walk to beach around 800m. Close to shopping mall & good restaurants...

Great value hotel in Patong

Hotel was in a great location. Still looks unfinished in places as it’s a new hotel. Bed was a bit hard and pillows were too high but apart from that this hotel gave great value for money. Breakfast which was at a hotel down the Soi was fantastic

You get what you pay for

Very nice hotel for 3 1/2 star. Price for room is very reasonable and you get what you pay for. I have stayed in 5 star establishments that are way below par compared to here. It still needs to be completed but overall it was a very comfortable stay. It is close to all amenities yet far enough away so the street noises did not interfere with sleep or relaxation. Yes, I would very likely chose to stay here again

Very nice hotel close to everything

I stayed for a week in this hotel, you have everything that you need, it’s located close to a big shopping center, markets, restaurants and bars and also 10 min from the beach, the breakfast was the best part (it’s a buffet), the room is very comfortable, clean and modern the staff is very friendly, in general I enjoyed my stay there.

Hotel with potential but unfriendly staff

The hotel is value for the price, spacious room and nice balcony, but the hotel receptionists are not friendly (both day and night staff), they definitely required more training, the bed was hard and the noise from the corridor can be hear in the room. And one more thing, the bathroom is smelly.

Never Again

I was there for 3 nights, it was a horrible experience, the workers are unfriendly and were not eager to assist. The rooms are nice and clean with good wifi BUT there is no sound isolation and all the noises from outside were coming through, the bed mattress & pillow are tough as bricks and any questions to the workers about replacing them to softer ones were answered with a big NO! the safe in the room is the smallest possible so if you planning on placing Ipad or Laptop you can forget it - it is barely fitting for passport & mobile phone, the tanning beds (made of wood) at the pool have no matters and again you find yourself laying down on bricks! the elevator is external without air condition or at least a fan and with the heath of Phuket sun it felt like Sauna every time we had to use the elevator. The location and the rooms are nice but for significantly less you can find better hotels around with nicer staff and decent beds to fall asleep on!

Best hotel in Patong

Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location, room was new, modern, very clean and with a very good shower. Rooftop pool was awesome with an amazing view overlooking the city. Breakfast each morning was very nice. Staff was friendly.For what you pay you really can't get better than this. I highly recommend!

Hotel Close to Centre

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and found it to be soulless. It appeared unfinished. The bar near the pool was not in operation and there was no mattresses for the hard wooden sunbeds. The hotel had an air of neglect about it.

Great value for money. We’d stay again.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and we were happy with our room and hotel service. The rooftop pool is not accessible if you are disabled as there are 8 steps and no hand rail to access it. The room itself was very spacious and the only negative was the extremely firm mattress and pillows but for the price we paid it’s a small thing.

Will never be finished

The hotel is still not complete. The water from taps in room was dirty brown for the entire stay. The house keeping staff were great but the hotel was incomplete. For the price, I suppose you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean and fresh, but don't expect much more. This place could be amazing with a little more effort.

Close to the action

It was a relatively simple lodging that is situated near the shopping mall as well as a night market. It brings all the actions near you. Had booked the room for a night with breakfast. Breakfast was an international buffet served in another hotel which is a short walk away. Was an enjoyable stay.

Excellent location, great pool,friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast which was about 30m down the road from hotelTour info place at front of Hotel lady was very helpful and gave good discounts. Laundry across the road was great.Only complaint from me was the bed was rock hard.

Near party spot!

Near everything, love it. It is located next to wet market & night market where you can get thai food for cheap. Jungceylon, the biggest mall in patong, is just across the street - so is the party area. 10mins walk away from the beach too. And... there's a rooftop swimming pool to chill at the hotel. Pretty cool.

Awesome Staff!! Close to nightlife but far enough away that its not crazy loud at your end. Near the Bangla Boxing stadium. Dan the taxi man down in front of the hotel took us everywhere. Good Dude!! Staff Maids were great. Room was always clean and bed was made every morning when i came back from breakfast. The rooftop pool was somewhere to hang after the beach with a couple beers before going out and hitting the town.

Hotel seems to be not finished yet.... Only one lift working..... Lack of table and chairs in room Bed was hard apparently this is the norm in thailand. .... That said we had no complaints with the location or the staff the room was large and air conditioning was good......nice roof top pool and spa....close to markets.,boxing ,shopping centre and lots of excellent restaurants and bars....

New hotel. Good location. average services

We spent 6 nights at this hotel during our visit in Patong in March. The hotel is new built but was not quite ready to open for costumers. The room was nice and clean but the hotel is not fully working . If you wanted to eat breakfast you had to go to another hotel to eat (not a biggie thought the other hotel was located nearby). Breakfast was mediocre. Nice bed but it was hard sleeping because of many young and drunk customers that were making noises until late in the morning. Lovely, large beach towels :) The hotel is located next to Jungceylon shopping centre and it's a short walk down to the beach. The roof pool was working during our stay but it was not furnished with sun beds so we went to the beach instead. Overall, the hotel might have a potential of becoming a fair hotel.

Great location, Poor customer service

Great location, very close to Bangla Raod and the beach. I've stayed couple of nights, my room was big, air con was working but bathroom wasn't clean well, and bed wasn't very comfy (matters too hard). All of the receptionist didn't speak even basic English, they were all guessing what you saying and every single time I've passed thru the reception they were arguing with customers. Breakfast very basic and you have to wait ages if something finish to be replaced. Deff needs improving!

our stay was not a pleasant one

Hotel is new therefore they do not sufficient things for the hotel guests. I requested for an extra pillow, but they do not have any. They only provided 2 pillows. The bed is as hard as a rock. Also, I requested for an ironing board and they told me that I have to go down to the lobby to get it myself and that no one can send it up for us. Which I find really ridiculous and never heard this kind of service before. Another thing that I wasn't happy about was that our hotel breakfast was not at our hotel itself. It was at another hotel which was located few hotels away (2mins walk).. I wasn't informed about this during check in and wasn't quite pleased that our breakfast is at another hotel. I have never faced this kind of situation too. Overall, our stay was not a pleasant one. "

Nice Hotel with great staff

Near by all restaurant and pub street, Hard Rock Cafe is 5 mints walk, nice big pool very polite staff and helpful , they can arrange all site seeing at reasonable prices , secure they close the main gate after 12 night and you just ring the bill I enjoyed my stay , breakfast is great to you have buffet and you can order from a menu all included :)

Завтрак пусть и не сильно разнообразный, но есть все, что нужно. Вкусный кофе! Персонал мог бы соответствовать стране улыбок, какие-то вечно хмурые на ресепшн сидели

Hotel for few nights stay

Hotel was okay for few nights stand, it's close to the shopping center and few minutes from the Bangla road and beach, so it was a good location. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel stuff were not so friendly or welcoming. Swimming pool area needs an update, there was only three sunbeds, one of them broken and no umbrellas. Hotel breakfast was very simple, so do not expect much from that.

部屋の鼻をつくにおい。

室内だけでなく外観や共用部分も清潔感ありました。水回りも清掃行き届いているのですが、とても残念なのは、水道の水が汚いことです。グラスに溜めると普通に茶褐色に濁っていました。毎日2本ペットボトルウォーターが置かれるので歯磨き・うがいに利用しました。

In the first place, the reception staff failed to find our booking ref, and he misundersatandingly charge us 1000phb for the walk-in booking fee. Second, in the second day, the water system was failed and there were no water supply for the whole building after we experienced a one day tour which we were very dirty, and this situation last until we check out. The whole experience in this hotel was terrible, and there are a lot mouse nearby.

Personnel de la réception pas très sympathique réservation pour plus de trois semaines dont la première semaine dans une chambre insalubre ensuite grâce a la responsable des femmes de ménage nous avons pu en choisir une autre trois matins de suite à 9h 30 + de plats cuisinés il nous a fallu une nuit de plus qui nous a été facturé au plein tarif est payable en espèces lors de mon prochain séjour je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel
