staff were very helpful and friendly,i stayed here before and after a trip ,they were very accommodating.allowed me to check in early after a long trip. a good mart is 5 minutes away for snacks. the river is close. room was always made up ,never had to ask. food is very nice on the ground floor restaurant and the breakfast restaurant has a great view. i asked for a room with a view and they delivered. good hot shower. handy to a atm
Staff is excellent.
The service is amazing. One of the best places i stayed while in egypt.
Nice view of the Nile. Convenient location. Good breakfast. Shower pressure was unreliable.
Budget hotel is an understatement. The shower drains in numerous rooms wouldn’t drain and had little water pressure. The rooms are dated with stained mattresses, pillows, and sheets.
The place of lication is good and the sraff was very nice, friendly and helpful. But hotel really needs renovation. The hot water didn't work at tge beginning, the floor was very dirty, the most uncompfortable beds.
Great stay!
Excellent stay, especially considering the price. Pros: 24 hour front desk, 24 hour restaurant, very friendly/helpful staff, clean, A/C worked well. Cons: beds and pillow were very hard and uncomfortable, lots of noise from the hallway.
Nice view of Nile river. Friendly staff,
This hotel is in a good location. Good restaurant menu. The breakfast was just ok. Need more selection like fruits, yogurt and warm food. The room has a good view and cleaned. The hot water was not working so couldn’t shower at all. Heater was not working properly. The room was cold all the time. They need to fit the issues. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Plumbing was awful. Shower didn't drain and lack of hot water
Central location, surrounding area safe, great breakfast, quiet, staff helpful
Best … avoided.
The staff in the attached cafe are wonderful and the only reason we rated above zero. We paid reception for a cab to Pyramids entrance but were dumped in a backstreet somewhere nearby and left to be hassled by hordes of local carriage drivers - later found we’d paid double the usual fare too! Tried squeezing extra out of us for a taxi to the train station on our last day too. Picture of hotel in advert is NOT the actual hotel either. Worrying lift, exposed wiring, broken shower screens not fixed despite reporting them (us and at least one other guest). Shoddy.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good options for meals and very good the location of the hotel.
Great stay
Very comfortable room great price and the restaurant has the most delicious food. I would definitely recommend and stay again
Hot water and a/c good No toilet paper
Location was as descriped, but check in and check out took too long time than expected, and the room they check me in 1st was unclean with broken air condition, then I asked them to change it for me, and they did.
Nice place for price
Horrible hotel! They wouldn’t even understand English when I arrived, I had to used Google translate… The people were so rude, it was unbelievable. The property was dirty and very old, I was pretty scared to even sleep there, and the restaurant manager was the worst. Do NOT stay here, I’d rather had slept in the streets than in this place I am very sorry to say. The service was the worse.
The staff was incredible, so helpful and very fun to talk to! The rooms were nice and comfortable. The balcony had an beyond beautiful view!
I would definitely recommend the hotel to other friends. The staff was specially friendly and helpful. Extremely good service 👍
Fabulous stay here
I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. It was very close to most of the things i needed. I paid extra to have a balcony with a view of the river Nile and was not disappointed as it was beautiful by day and night. There is shopping at walking distance for daily needs. Hotel is basic in the rooms but comfortable. I purchsed a 10$ kettle to make coffee etc as its not provided. I felt very safe walking in yhe area even at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I used room service some days which was well priced and good quality. I had a mix of work and personal time here and overall i was very happy with everything. I will definitely stay here again when i come back in April. Thank you Pharoahs Hotel staff 😊
Excellent location and nice comfortable room and facilities.
Excellent location with very good facilities and customer services. You can walk to everywhere in city centre and very close to 2 metro stations. The area is very safe and secure. The room is spacious clean with comfortable bed and nice view of the Nile river and cairo. The bathroom is good and clean with all facilities. The breakfast was very good with good varieties. The staff were nice and helpful. This hotel is far better of many hotels in Europe, London and USA. The hotel staff do their best to offer you a good safe stay.
Good location and good facilities with good value of money. It is just few steps from the river Nile, opera house, cairo city centre and Tahrir square. It is walkable and a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and shops are around. The area is very safe and quite. The breakfast is ok but may lacking of freshness and professional presentation. Good omelet, eggs, cheese collection, coffee/tea but the corned beef is very poor and cake is very hard to eat so it is better to avoid them. The room was very nice, clean spacious, comfortable with good Nile river view. The air condition was big plus. The bathroom is very nice, clean and spotless with good facilities and cold/hot water. Generally the staff are good, polite, and helpful but few of them are not professional and need more training to how deal with guests. This hotel is a hidden gem in the centre of cairo But it may just need few improvements to shin up and be one of the best in Cairo. I enjoyed my stay and I used to book it when I am visiting Cairo. I highly recommend it.
The Hotel Location was Excellent, it was only few meters from the River Nile, and the Nile Palace Bridge, close to Reasturants, and markets at Al-Duqqi, a nice, quiet place downtown in Cairo. The Room I have had reserved was overlooking the Nile with a nice, lovely balcony, the Size of the Room was more than excellent, Bathroom was more than excellent, Bed was great, the only down side was the quality of the mattress and the beddings used, otherwise I really rate (The Room) to be more than 3 stars towards the 4 stars. Breakfast was reasonable but I think with a bit more of cleanness and further attention, it could have been much better. Staff were reasonably helpful, and it was easy to extend my stay. Internet was relatively on the downside, but was ok at the lobby. All in All, with a bit of careful consideration to the Breakfast, the Breakfast area, Bedding used in the Room and the Lift, I think it could get a better rate than a 3-stars...
the room cleanliness was not good enough to my standards i cleaned the small fridge in the room as was moldy and dirty, the noise from the beginning to the end was terrible hammering and drilling for 14 days including Christmas and New Year. Door and lift closing and opening were also noisy. The water in the bathroom came down brown as a result of this jobs. I had to leave the water running for sometime before got better. the batteries for the fan heater and the television were not working properly and i had to call 2 times i was told they would came back to replace it but they never did. cleaner was in place everyday nice lady. Breakfast is more Egyptian than continental in fact i am glad did not pay for it. Round the corner there are some cafeterias. there are taxi facilities but i did not use it. There is a safe in the room the place is not far from center and around there are some food shop facilities. This is a smoking place so you may do not enjoy the smell of it in lifts and breakfast room. Area seemed safe Be aware that everywhere you go in Cairo dodgy people will try to get money from you including police and helpers at the airport and fake tour guides and those trying to sell you papyrus. Dress adequately for dusty and dirty roads, you can exchange your money in the money exchange shops in the street of Doqqui nearby better than banks and England exchange rates Overall it was ok as the bed was comfy, location and place were safe and near the center
Pretty good value for the price.
This is a clean, basic hotel. The location is pretty good - it's a little out of the centre, so it's a bit calmer, but you can still walk to Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. We had one room that was kind of dated, snd another that was more modern. The staff are helpful, and the breakfast is okay. Pretty good value for the price.
It was hard to locate, the drivers kept getting lost and the service was slow but I liked the rooms, bathroom and cleanliness
Great value
Great location, helpful staff, decent rooms. Great value!
Pharoah's Hotel in Giza
As far as budget hotels go, this place was great! The rooms were well air conditioned, clean, and the beds were relatively comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and the hot water abounded in the shower. They offer an included breakfast in the morning that provided many options both traditional Egyptian (salads, dips, cheeses, etc...) and typical breakfast (omelets made to order, bread, toast, cereal, coffee). This was the best breakfast I found of all the hotels I stayed in just fyi while in Egypt. The only thing I can't truly comment on is the location per se. I was there for 4 nights total traveling with a touring company and so we were shuttled all over the place and thus didn't have to venture out on our own much. The hotel is in GIZA not Cairo so just keep that in mind. It's about 80 Egyptian Pounds by taxi from the airport to this location (but you need to haggle to get that price!). It provided everything I needed in terms of a comfortable, clean place to stay but again, my transportation was provided so I can't speak do the convenience angle. This is the only reason my overall rating was a 4 as opposed to a 5. The surrounding neighborhood seemed safe enough albeit a bit dark at night (not a lot of street lights). There were restaurants and ATM's that were close by as well and the hotel offers internet for reasonable rates too.
good value for money
good value for money but they should improve the quality of the breakfast buffet.
Many of the hotels are cheaper and better on-site service
Hotel location is good but service is not compatible with the price so as not to provide Internet service and satellite service and breakfast and there is no shampoo or towels
Recommended.
Nice staff. Simple breakfast. Clean. Delivers at a low price.
Highly recommended!
Lovely place and very helpful staff. Everything worked perfectly. Nice and calm area and a great restaurant near the lobby.
Bon rapporr qualité / prix. Bien situé. Personnel aimable et souriant. Chambre propre.
gut gelegen, sauber, freundlich

Egypt Adventure tour with Intrepid
This was my final night in Egypt, I was travelling with an organised Intrepid tour to Cairo, Aswan and Luxor and was finishing my stay here and leaving for the airport during the early hours of the 31st December. The staff were super helpful when I asked them anything. It was also nice to get a welcome orange juice, water, Pepsi and orange.
