This is a beautiful, old building, very centric, almost everything was near. But late at night and early morning is extremely noisy, and thats why I don't rate it excellent, but good. In any other matter, excellent!

El joven que nos atendió en el check in, Victor fue genial, super amable, nos resolvió todas las dudas y nos apoyó en todo lo que necesitábamos durante la estancia.

The lady who checked us in made us wait in vain, giving priority to other people without respecting our age and tiredness. No empathy.

Good location, right at downtown

The buffet breakfast included was very good, front desk staff was excellent, and the room was clean. The room was very small, we could barely fit in the shower, and there was only a small garbage can in the bathroom. The room did not have a garbage can.

Hôtel bien situé

Hôtel très bien située à Madrid. À quelques pas du métro Gran via. Plusieurs restaurant et boutique près de l'hôtel. Le déjeuner buffet est varier et bon. Dans la chambre, il y a un petit frigidaire, par contre, il n'y a pas de cafetière, les articles du mini-bar sont très dispendieux. La chambre était très petite (un coin du lit accotait sur la porte de la salle de bain, le coffret de sûreté ne fonctionnait pas).

I only stayed one night and had the breakfast. The room was quite small and the AC had difficulty cooling down the room. I was also unable to watch my Netflix on the TV since the screen mirroring was not working. The breakfast was extensive and had lots of healthy options. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was overall super clean.

The desk staff was so helpful. We really appreciated the kindness shown to us. Perfect location!

We had a lot of fun while staying on the Petit Palace Chueca. The location is super convenient, just steps to Gran Via, Callao and Sol. Easy access to Metro, Train, Buses and Taxis, and essentially in the heart of Madrid.

I love the place since it’s Near the grand via but the building is old . I found roaches in my room and in the lobby . Also they would come and clean really late .

Great location, staff was super helpful and friendly. European beds are the typical very hard type but other than that it's a 5Star for sure.

They check out my room before checking out time. I step out and when I came back, they had check out my room and my luggage was still in it. I had to go back to the front desk in order for me to go in the room.

This hotel has a great location. Most of the places visitors want to visit are in a good walking distance, 20 minutes at the most. However, since the location is so good, the crowding and noise factor are terrible, of which the hotel staff have no control.

Fantastic location very close to the centre of Madrid… would stay again just for that. Absolutely fine hotel, just felt a little small. No tea, coffee etc in the room- not sure if that is the norm in Spain. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location

We loved this hotel. It was in the heart of downtown Madrid. Walkable to all there is to see. Great breakfast. Spacious room. Wonderful balcony. Elevator. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. BUT...be aware there is NO PARKING (except for a public lot a 10-minute walk away); the floors creak a lot so if you're not on the 6th floor when people move above you, you will hear them; the sign for the hotel is small and you may go right past it (but it is right across from the side entrance to the casino); and we got a perfectly located room in the hotel so your experience may not be as good as ours.

The bedroom was very dull with brown curtains covered in dust, old broken and dated furniture and an ancient a/c unit.

Perfect little gem in the heart of Madrid! If you are going to shop, walk around and get to know the city this is the spot to stay at.

Located right off the Gran Via shopping district. Helpful and friendly check in. Lovely room although a bit small. Excellent service including reserving a cab for us early in the morning.

Excellent Hotel

Super convenient location, right in the heart of things. The only downside is that it's right off of Gran Via so it there can be some street noise and partyers late at night. I would suggest wearing ear plugs. But overall I think the location and staff were well worth it. The cafe counter located right in the lobby was super convenient too!

Perfect location, great reception area. Had a last minute 1 day stay in Madrid with 5 grown children and mother. We all had our own beds, it was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

Definitely the best hotel we visited during our Eurotrip 2023. It's located very conveniently just a few feet away from Gran vía avenue (and station), and a couple of blocks away from all the relevant tourist spots you might want to visit on your first trip to Madrid. We toured the whole city on foot since it's so close to everything. And if you like shopping... you're in for a treat! Gran via's main attraction are the stores (from department stores with very cheap prices like Primark, to more exclusive brands that have either their own store or have their spot in El corte Ingles). If you want to go and eat some tapas, you're a block away from many bars and restaurants that'll serve you traditional spanish tapas and pintxos for you to enjoy. Now, enough about location, what about the hotel? It's very modern, hip and clean. It has a coffee shop in the lobby floor and the staff is really accesible, kind and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We had breakfast included during our stay and it was great: full of options and tasty pastries (although the breakfast area/room is a bit small so it might get crowded on busy hours). Wish we stayed a few extra days here because it was an excellent experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Madrid. Great city, great hotel.

Location, location, location. Just few steps to Gran Via and Plaza del Sol. Nice, modern rooms. 5 stars for cleanliness. Quiet even on the middle of action. Only complaint, my room have parque floors that need repair. A little bit noisy. Overall, wonderful experience. Surely to return!

This place has great location! You can walk to most places. It’s busy. The coffee shop downstairs it’s so pretty and great to grab a coffee and go tourist. The rooms are small but I guess that’s just Europe? The whole place was great!

Needs flooring repair and newer mattress

Location was great the floors were in need of repair loose and warped flooring and the bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable lumpy and sagging.

Excelente ubicacion, el personal es demasiado amable y servicial, cómodo para 4 personas, puedes caminar a todos lados y tienes todo relativamente cerca pero tambien la transportacion esta a 1 minuto a pie. Deben de darle un cariñito a las habitaciones y arreglarles algunas cosas pero volveria a quedarme.

Basic but convenient

Basic, but good location, didn't get get the room type booked, bed quality was very poor, New mattresses needed, great bathroom, amazing shower pressure, the "coffee shop" reception is a student hang out so you can't get a seat but you may be lucky to sit on a bench after people had their feet on it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We had plenty of food options readily available. The staff was super friendly. While they did t have parking at the facility, they do have an agreement with a garage nearby where we got discounted rates.

I really like the location of this property and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the check-out time at noon is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help they even have a scale available at reception for guest to weight their packages before leaving.

The hotel was in an amazing location. Just around the corner from the Gran Via road and train stop. Rooms were great and service was also top notch. My only drawback was that if your on a lower floor you can hear everything from the street. I did ask to be put on a higher floor and they accommodated very nicely. Worth the stay.

Excellent conditions, the only thing was de air conditioner in the room. We weren’t unable to set the AC, was too hot inside the room. Except for that, everything else was EXCELLENT

The best city to visit!

Madrid is an amazing city and the hotel is really well located - loads of boutiques, large storesand restaurants close by. Only there formone evening and night!

Good little place

It was pleasantly located close to all amenities, yet still quiet enough even with a balcony room. The took was bigger than expected and clean. The bed was comfortable but the scent of detergent for the sheets was overpowering. I would stay here again.

This is my 5th time at the hotel. The lift door was kept open by guests on other floors. Also had to change the room key card like 5 times.

The Staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast had a nice spread of delicious food. I really enjoyed.

Traveled with my sister and two nieces and we stayed in the room with bunkbeds. Was a great size for everyone. Staff were very friendly. Easy check in and out

Location-wise, it was amazing. Walkable to everything. It was very easy to get a taxi, to get to the shopping district, historical monuments, and dining places. Concierge was helpful and respectful to its guests.

Fantastic location. We are a family of 5 and has a very decent sized room with 5 twin beds. Check in was efficient and staff was very helpful to all our needs. Tons of good restaurants and shopping in the area. Walkable to Madrid palace and Plaza Mayor. Overall, very happy with our stay and highly recommended.

Excellent hotel right in the center of the action. A quirky conversion with the downstairs area popular with young people keen to use the Wi-Fi in pleasant surroundings. Pay extra for room with terrace as it’s large and a vibrant place to sit or work and enjoy the ambiance of the bustling location. Breakfast is fine.

I just have to say what a beautiful hotel. Since the moment we arrived the staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel is close to everything, the rooms were impecable. When we arrived a staff member gifted my daughter a hippo stuffed animal. It helped Luna cope with being away from all her toys. Next time We’re In Madrid I’m not looking anywhere else.
