Room was clean, lovely balcony, best Hotel/ Room I’ve been too. Would recommend to anyone that is Traveling to Kaunas to Check into Perkuno Namai.

Friendly and helpful staff and great location

It was a great stay. Firstly, I booked it with a very short notice, and received constant updates from the hotel about meeting me and check-in procedures. Also, received good advice and local knowledge from the reception staff.

Holiday

Hotel is very nice and is in quiet location but is a fair distance from ther old town(taxis are very cheap though)Staff fro the most part very friendly although it was very difficult to explain what drinks we wanted from the barman(mostly due to lack of english)Route to hotel from railway staion is not recommended as there are hundreds of very steep steps on the route

Great location, requires updating

Lovely location although could have been cleaner and would have been nice for the air conditioning unit that was in the room to be working. Also green light in the bathroom could be updated

The parking is too small and that lead to a verbal attack from the local reaidenta upon trying to find a parking slot in the suburb.

Every thing was fine. Expect when my check out day, I have to pay the city tax twice because my booking was partial booking, even stayed continues for 5 nights? Anyway I have no time to discussed with them for my bus.

Nice hotel in Kaunas

I stayed total for 5 days here. All staff are nice. Nice quiet area and good breakfast. I am happy to return when I will visit to Kaunas next time. Thanks for letting my stay good.

This is a very nice family owned hotel though a good 30 minute walk from the centre of the town. Room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony.No tea/coffee making facilities in it but they very kindly lent me a kettle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Enjoyed our dinner on the one night we are there but breakfast was not good.Everything was dried up.We did bring this to the hotels attention. Would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Beautiful surroundings hotel disappointing

Terrible bed, no real matress, rocking. Stained couch & chair. Staff at breakfast ignorant and not welcoming, poor selection at breakfast. Certainly will not recommend even for the price.

Mixed bag

I'm sure it was a fantastic hotel years ago but is a bit tired. Still a great spot, loads of nature around, good quiet location, close to parks, zoo, centre, etc. Service was great! The room was fantastic but the spare bed was terrible so we had to squeeze 3 people in one double bed. The carpet has seen better days too. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view but the down side was that it probably hadn't been cleaned in months.

Did not stay at perkuno name but was misled and stayed at daugirdas hotel which was a poor substitute for perkuno namo

Peaceful Hotel, but close enough to town if want.

Stayed here for 7 nights with my daughter who was having knee surgery, found all staff very helpful and able to speak English. Used the restaurant a few times at both lunch and dinner times, at all times was the food hot and delicious, with a very helpful barman/waiter especially as I was wheeling my daughter in a wheelchair. Hotel location is perfect if you want a quieter place as just away far enough from the centre but only 3-4 euros for a taxi into the old town. Only downside if you mobility problems is about 15 steps down from the road to the hotel, but we managed without too much problems. I would certainly stay there again without a second thought.

Simply great!

Location, parking ease and extremely helpful staff are but a few great features. An employee gave me a lift in her personal auto when I mention that I'm running late to a meeting. By far my favorite place to stay in Kaunas.

Nice hotel - we are staying there every time when visiting Kaunas for last two years already. Very good value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast tasty with wide choice and nice staff. Will stay there again.

Soviet Union spirit soars in its walls

There are 4 stars declared, but it’s really doubtful in compare with oldshcool europian 4 stars hotels. Soviet Union spirit soars in its walls :). Rooms are big, but not very cozy: there are a lot of useless furniture. Sanitary engineering is rather old. But in taxi driver’s opinion this hotel is the best one in Kaunas

Wonderful day

The hotel was exellent; only one problem - not in connection with hotel - road renovation, so it was difficult to find correct way to the hotel - but it is a problem for all Kaunas now - so the next year roads would be excellent.

everything about this hotel was fantastic, its just in an odd location. The price I paid was very good £25 per night single including breakfast, the staff were helpful, room was very nice free wifi too. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaunas...

Nice, but...

Its a nice hotel in a nice neighborhood. The problem is that when they host events, parties, etc, the hotel guests immediately become second citizens, and are not allowed to use the restaurant, and sometimes even the terrace. There are no other restaurants closeby, so this can be not a great situation... It made me feel excluded and unimportant. Their breakfasts, which are included, are ok except they only make so much of each item and when it is gone, late arrivals are out of luck.

Tilava huone 3 hengelle, vuodesohvakin nuoren mukava nukkua. Aamiainen hyvä, pidemmässä majoittumisessa ehkä liian vähän vaihtelua. Sijainti hieman syrjässä ja mäellä, mutta tulipahan liikuttua samalla. Rauhallinen ja mukava hotelli, voin suositella, jos sijainti ei ole ongelma.

Hotelli oli kauniilla paikalla, ihanan puutarhan ympäröimänä. Ruoka oli todella hyvää, tarjoilija ystävällinen niin illalla kuin aamulla. Aamiaisella asiakas myös huomioitu ja lämmin ateria tilauksesta pöytään. Hotellin eteen sai jättää auton maksutta. Hotelli oli rauhallinen, huoneemme tilava. Huone normaalitason vastaava, ainut miinus kun huoneeseen oli jäänyt joltain tyhjä viinipullo ja siistijä oli jättänyt sen huoneeseen. Mutta voimme todeta, että kaikinpuolin laadukas ja meille sopiva hotelli. Kannattaa nauttia hotellissa illallinen, oli maukas ja hinta-/laatusuhde yllätti positiivisella tavalla. Suosittelut!

Rauhallinen sijainti ja hinta-laatu -suhde aivan täysin kohdillaan! Huokealla hinnalla hyvä huone. Huomioitavaa kuitenkin on se, että hotelli sijaitsee korkean kukkulan päälle, johon on jyrkkä nousu. Huonokuntoisen tai huonojalkaisen ei tänne välttämättä kannata suunnata. Bussiasema ja ruokakaupat kuitenkin suhteellisen lähellä, mutta nähtävyyksille on muutama kilometri.

Я долго выбирала отель для транзитной ночи в Каунасе.На сайте мне понравился Перкуно...но под'езд к отелю непростой.Хотя гармин вывел.В городе было огромное мероприятие.Еле под'ехали.Но тут с парковкой проблема.Занята вся свадьба.Хорошо литовская пара показала куда парковаться на улице.Ну и это еще не все.Вход в отель далеко-надо спуститься по 2м крутым лестницам.С вещами и больными ногами тяжело.Остальное-очень красиво.Отель утопает в зелени.Ночная подсветка сада прекрасна.Номер огромный,чистый.Но мебель немного вышла из моды.Отель чистый и приятный-когда всё-таки общение ведется и на твоем языке.Завтрак достаточный.Еще-огромный балкон,почти как номер,с видом на прекрасный сад.Лифт есть.Места для курения есть на улице.

Excellent value for the money

Very nice hotel and we had a spacious room with a balcony. The restaruant serves an excellent breakfast with many choices and the dinner was excellent, too. Comfortable beds and it is a quiet neighborhood. A bit far from the city centre and once you have managed to find a parking space at the hotel, you don't want to risk that spot so public transport is the best choice.

Район одно- и двухэтажной застройки. Симпатичная зеленая территория. Большой хорошо оборудованный номер. Хороший завтрак с горячими блюдами, фруктами, десертами. Но мы пришли за 50 минут до конца завтрака, и каких то блюд уже не было и больше не добавляли. Очень мало мест на парковке, и кругом знаки запрещающие остановку. Нам не хватило места, и пришлось парковаться под запрещающим знаком. Портье сказал, что ничего страшного не будет.

Hotellissa oli hieno tunnelma, sopivan sivussa keskustasta ja sisäpiha oli todella upea.

Hotel czysty zadbany w cichej okolicy kawałek spacerkiem od starego miasta. Śniadania urozmaicone i duże. Olbrzymi plus za akceptację psów maleńki minus za uszkodzony korek w wannie.

Grandiosa experiencia!

El hotel es muy bonito, rodeado de un área boscosa. Limpio, muy buen mobiliario y excelente desayuno.

Hotelli on viehättävällä alueella kävelymatkan päässä bussiasemalta ja vanhasta kaupungista. Hint-laatusuhde todella hyvä.

Nice place. Bit out of town

Отличный отель. Единственные неудобства - небольшой шум от дороги, но он не напрягает. Если вы путешествуете пешком без машины, либо без такси - вам придется преодолеть большую лестницу, чтобы подняться к отелю, расположенному в районе на горке. С чемоданами не очень удобно но сам район восхитительный - чистый, безопасный, красивый. Завтраки в отеле вкусные.

Bra Hotel med stor balkong

Bra Hotel med balkong och minibar. Stort rum och bekväma sängar.litet långt från centrum och busshållsplats. Frukosten var tråkig inte mycket varma alternativ. Vänlig personal.fick också hjälp att printa boardingkort.

Dårlig morgenmad

Der var ingen balkon som vi havde regnet med. Værelset skulle være lydisoleret men der var fest to aftner så der var ikke megen søvn. Morgenmad bliver ikke fyldt op så da vi kom kl 9:50 var der ikke meget tilbage- det lukkede kl 10:30. Personalet var ikke gode til engelsk og kunne ikke guide os

This is a ok hotel. I didn`t like that they charge 15 Euros per night per dog. We travelled with two dogs so we almost paid the same amount for their stay as for our own. Nothing was mentioned on the booking site, only that pets are allowed. The room was very large which was a plus, but very hot and no temperature control. The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet area but far from services. The brekfast is good but not a large selection of food.

5 min. by cab from station, 10 min. to city centre

lovely room, stayed in the city for a day & didn't want to stay in the city centre. situated on top of a small hill close to the train station. (15 - 20 min. walking distance). for the city centre we took a cab (10 min.), hotel reception said, 30 - 40 min. by foot. as it was a hot day, we choose the cab. the breakfast was nice, but nothing special (included everything you need for starting the day). reception was very kind, spoke english & the hotel comes with a nice restaurant in the garden area.
