Quarto simples mas bem limpo e organizado, com aquecimento que ajudou bastante com os dias chuvosos que peguei. Fica a poucos minutos de caminhada até terminal rodoviário e do centro histórico. Nas proximidades há vários mercados para comprar algum lanche ou refeição.

Clean room, excellent host

The property was super clean, the staff very nice. The only suggestion I have will be to have a fridge and a kettle in the common area.

Great place to stay in Santiago de Compostela

This is a good location to stay especially if you are doing the Camino. It is relatively central but I needed to access Google Maps to find it. Another point is that it is walking distance to the Train and Bus stations. The Pension is on the 4th and 5th Floors. But there is a lift so my recommendation is to use it. Being Spain breakfast isn't included but there are several restautants on the street below.

Great stay. Host was very nice and helpful. Good location close to city and everything else one would need. Great for the price too! Would stay here again.

Happy with Pension Santa Rita

Santa Rita is a simple, safe, quiet place with shared bathrooms in a great location. The bed was more comfortable than the beds I paid 3x as much for. The location is great for shopping, eating, and visiting Old City. It’s a good value and I would stay there again. It can be hard to find where to check in. Once you arrive you have to travel to the 4th floor. It ahould be better marked, but for the price I was very pleased.

Good price and location.

For me, this hostel was quite good. It was about 10 minutes from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It was in a quiet neighbourhood with many local restaurants in the square below. Althought we weren´t interested in shopping, there were many many retail stores in the area for those interested and pharmacies everywhere. The facilities were fine and although we shared two full bathrooms per floor we never had problems getting in. The shower pressure was great which is always nice and it was clean and roomy. The price for a private room for two was quite good in my opinion. We had a double bed which was comfortable. And there was a small flat screen tv in the room. The only thing I didn´t know is if there is a kitchen (there wasn´t on our floor) and the staff weren´t always there. But for us it was perfectly fine. One day the wifi worked great and part of another day it was come and go (not sure why). We spent most of our time in the city so it was mostly to sleep and shower which was perfect. It was also about a 10 minute straight walk to the train station. They offered to store our luggage if we needed to. Oh and it was very quiet, never sounds from outside or even inside the hostel. I would stay here again.

What a Dump-sleeping in the Street was a serious consideration.Owner insisted all paid for total stay immediately on arrival & soon obvious why-noisy,dirty,bed bugs,electrics tripping lights out,dodgy Card Billing System & hassle to get Spanish Factura Written Receipt - insist on that.

Comfy place with all you need!

This is a lovely place with character and plenty of space. As pilgrims we found it very comfortable, even providing basic shampoo, very welcome after a long Camino. Great location too, just 15 mins from the Cathedral and surrounded by student bars and shops. Awesome stay here!

central, affordable stay in Santiago

we were happy for the availability and friendliness of the personnel but unhappy for ordering a double bed and not getting it even after the promise that it will be rectified the next day.

Gefallen hat mir das Zimmer an sich, nett eingerichtet. Es war von der Straße her nachts laut, was man bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht hörte. Es hat keine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit.

Schöne 1Sterne Pension. Freundlicher Empfang, fleissige Putzfrau, Gemeinschaftsbäder regelmäßig geputzt. Etwas hellhörig aber keine Probleme während 3 Nächte. Strassenlärm null bei geschlossenen Lärmschutzfenstern. Bahnhof 10 Gehminuten Kathedrale 15 min. Für 1 Stern super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Nach 250km Camino die pure Erholung. Auch sonst gerne wieder.

Pensión Santa Rita is a simple and modest hotel which is located near a very important square of the city. The services offered by the hotel are good according to his price. The rooms are confortable and the shared toilets are quiet clean.

Very ok for one night

Well, it was different. There is no reception, the rooms are in 4th/5th floor. A lady opened the door (at the 4th floor) and was seemingly cleaning the rooms, but turned into "the reception" including payment by credit card and handed me the keys to the building, the appartment door and the room door. The interior is all somewhat 'not new', the shared bathroom was ok and the shower was hot. I booked this through my phone on the camino on the night before arriving in Santiago (Camino Portugues, coming from the south) and I was perfectly happy of having this easy and uncomplicated stay.

Good stuof. I think first visit is not simple for foreigners. You have to put a chaim and wait for opening entrance key.

Nice Pension in the commercial center

We stayed here for three night after our Camino di Santiago. The room was good and also the staff is very kindly and gentle.

Near yo the city centre

The room was very comfortable. The beds were new or almost new. We had to share the bathroom but it was always clean. There is also a microwave in the hall if you want yo use it. We would go back!

Week end a Santiago

Vicino al centro storico, l'albergo si trova in zona commerciale ricca di negozi, locali e supermercati.

Perfecto para una estancia de una noche

La habitación estaba bien, con buen amueblamiento, 2 camas simples, escritorio y sillas, armarios y estanterías. La luz principal de la habitación estaba fundida, pero nos quedó la de la lamparita. Los baños muy limpios y cómodos (a pesar de ser baño comunitario, bastante bien). Para pasar una noche está perfecto.

Für Hardcore-Fans

Sehr spartanische Einrichtung. Bedingt durch Wasserschaden nur bedingt bewohnbar. Bislang das schlechteste Quartier meiner Buchungen.

Triste hôtel

Très déçu de la chambre: ameublement au minimum et désuet. Salle de toilette et douche à l'étage ( ce n'est pas ce qui avait été réservé)

Ret kedligt rum - God placering

Jeg er allergisk overfor rum der vender ud til en skakt, og det gjorde mit. Det gør værelset mørkt selv i dagtimerne og føles ubehageligt. Placeringen var - efter min mening - super, jeg kan lide at være hvor lokal-befolkningen er så det var godt. Men ellers ret kedeligt.

El trato fue excelente. La habitación era cómoda y tranquila. Hay supermercados y tiendas cerca y muchos sitios donde comer. Esta a un km de la catedral y muy cerca del parque de la alameda. El paseo se hace ameno

strategic position

The hotel is located in a very nice area close to the train station, by walking is about 10min. The style inside is nice, enough for a night stop.

Decente

No soy una persona quisquillosa. Vengo a ver la ciudad no de spa, así que con tener un techo ya me conformo. El alojamiento es decente, no gran cosa pero por el precio está bien, y la cama era comoda, que es lo importante.

No volveremos

Reservamos porque era barata la habitación (aunque con baño compartido). Las camas eran cómodas pero en general todo tiene un aspecto antiguo y bastante deteriorado. Nuestro mayor problema fue que dejamos el móvil cargando en la habitación, nos fuimos a pasar el día por ahí y cuando regresamos por la noche ni rastro del móvil ni del cargador. El dueño se lava las manos y se escuda en que nadie puede entrar en la habitación (son puertas de habitaciones de una casa normal y la cerradura es antiquísima). Tuvimos una mala experiencia y mala suerte.
