Quite cramped even for 1 person. Bed poor! Shower very small. Excellent location. Beware of late night, early morning bar loud bar crowd.

Good for a solo traveller. Comfy bed, good shower. Extremely good location as everything is within a very short walking distance.

We loved the place. It was clean and right in the center of everything. Because the location is so central, if you keep the windows open, it will be a bit noisy. The host is very friendly and responsive, accommodating us for a late check-in.

Pension Irune

Pensión Irune was a central as it gets in San Sebastián an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and right in the heart of old town. This does mean it is a little noisy and even with the double glazed windows if you are a super light sleeper beware. We were there in the middle of fiesta so about as noisy as it gets and it didn’t bother us too much. Would definitely stay again if in San Sebastián.

Fantastic place in the heart of the old town, not far to walk from the train station, lots of buzz with plenty of bars and restaurants with seconds of hotel.

A San Sebastian sensation!

Room was basic but clean and in the perfect location! What a city with amazing beaches, food and nightlife. Bit noisy, but in the thick of it all and arriving very late not a problem for the friendly staff.

this is not a 3 star hotel it is a 1 star hotel and it does not have self parking, it has no parking, complaint in progress. Left on a bench on our honeymoon in the cold with a 7 month old

Location location location!

Yes its small. Yes you can hear your next room comings and goings. But double glacing blocks the calle noise. And your facilities are in good shape.

Pack earplugs!

This pension, located in the heart of the old town in Bermeo is as basic as they get. The town is so small that accommodation options are few and far between, so pickings are slim. We did have a private bathroom, and the service was warm and welcoming, but we barely got a wink of sleep due to zero soundproofing (from other rooms, from street level noise) and ancient plumbing that intermittently made awful sounds. If you're driving, also know that there's no parking on adjacent streets so you have to figure out how to unload your bags and then get to the closest option at the port - a 5 minute walk away.

Dont stay here!

Hotels.com Booking said "Parking available", it DID NOT SAY "You will be unable to drive to your Pension". We drove around & around for 2 hrs, finally Police pointed us to the "Un-Driveable" Street! Bedrooms too small & too close to one another! Long distance to Parking!

The personnel was outstanding in helping us with various things such as parking and change of plans, etc. Ottilia was also very helpful.

Located at Center of tourist action

In the middle of the old town, few steps away from almost everything...restaurant, souvenir shopping, groceries, little train tours and hop on bust tour. Walking distance to main tourist attraction...beach, aquarium etc.

Pretty bad

This is basically a slightly better hostel. The place is on the 1st floor and smells like air freshener and stale cigarettes. The people who work the front desk don't speak English at all really it's very difficult to communicate. They expect that you either pay that day or the next day which you can use credit card or cash, also unexpected. The room is clean and extremely basic and is an ensuite. The description says there is a safe, there is no safe or at least not in the room we stayed in. The amenities like toiletries aren't provided which is not in the Expedia description. There are some really thin towels.

Great location!

Pension Irune is located in the heart of San Sebastian and conveniently near to everything you need/tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating as well. My only advice is: if you're a family with younger kids, older, or a light sleeper I would not recommend this place to you since you might have trouble sleeping. Since this place is located in the "heart of it all" - you can hear the crowds, music, etc. into the wee hours of the morning. However, if you're a heavy sleeper and don't mind that then Pension Irune is value for your money.

Great location

This hotel is in a great location. The staff is very accommodating. There was noise from street but the windows shut most of it out. You are staying in the old town so you must expect this. Very basic but clean. The shower is small you have to go in sideways.

Superb Location

The hotel is in an excellent location with some of the best pintxos bars in San Sebastian on your doorstep, however, due to such a busy and lively neighborhood the room is very noisy at night and can be difficult to get a good night sleep.

Perfect location

Great place to stay. Right in the heart of old town. Double windows to block out any noise from the street, air con, spacious room with recently renovated ensuite. Good security with 3 locked doors and very clean

Just in the middle of the old town

The good thing about this place was the location. Bang in the middle of the old town and just minutes away from the beach. It got quite noise during the evenings, but the double glazing windows worked well.

구시가 골목에 위치해 도보여행 다니기 편합니다. 방은 매우 작은편이지만 전반적으로 깨끗합니다. 건물 특성상의 이유인지는 모르겠지만 객실 바닥을 걸을때마다 나무가 삐걱거리는 소리가 좀 크게 납니다.

La situación estupenda, es pequeño pero cumple… estuvimos tres noches… cambiar las sábanas al menos una vez hubiera estado bien

Perfect location in the old town

The location of this hotel is perfect, right at the heart of the old town with a lot of restaurants, bars and cafés close by. Any of the beaches can be reached within 15 minutes by foot. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. However, you should be aware of that the rooms are very small and there is no lobby where you can sit, which is OK if you plan to spend all of your time out and about. The bed was quite small for two people but reasonanbly comfortable.

ロケーションは良かったです。ただ、部屋にテーブルや冷蔵庫がなく、ティッシュやコップなどもみあたらなかったので、長期滞在者には不便です。 窓は二重になっており、バル街に立地している割に外の声は聞こえませんでした。 しかし、壁が薄いのか、隣の声や上の足音が響きました。 以上の理由で、快適にはすごせませんでした。

Excelente ubicación

The location is good and the owner is friendly. For the room, it's a little small but clean and pleasant.

La habitación es pequeña pero la cama muy cómoda, lo único que menos nos gusto fue la ducha, muy vieja y descuidada. Por lo demás recomendable.

バル巡りにはとても便利ですが、、、

予約の際、ランドリールームがあると記載があり、此方の宿に決めたのですが、実際のところランドリールームはなく、がっかりしました。あと、部屋の壁が薄く、隣や上の階の人のイビキが聞こえて、何度か目が覚めました。

Nicely situated in old towncenter

Donostia is a expensive town.. Knowing that you can understand the comparatively high price for such a small room. On the other hand, everything is there and everything is clean

Pension très bien située pas loin de la plage, beaucoup de bar et de restaurant. En plein centre du vieux San Sebastian ce qui permet d'oublier la voiture et de tout faire a pied. Gros coup de coeur pour cette pension, je reviendrai c'est sur. Ah et dernier détail l'isolation phonique est excellente.

Vanhan kaupungin sydän

Siisti huone, jossa hyvä ilmastointi ja wifi käytössä.Pension Irunen sijainti on erinomaisen hyvä. Ovesta kadulle astuessa olet suoran vanhan kaupungin sydämessä. Lukuisia ravintoloita aivan vieressä. Kauppoja ja supermarket myös erittäin lähellä.

San Sebastiaan..... wat ben je leuk!

ligging hotel in midden van het oude stads deel. ligging is centraal en daardoor gunstig. Wel veel last van het nachtleven, daardoor veel meer overlast in het geluid dan verwacht. Nadeel dat bereikbaarheid alleen te voet mogelijk is, slepen met koffers ! Parkeren in directe omgeving is voldoende, maar ook prijzig. Wij hebben de kamer met drie personen gedeeld, krap. Sanitaire voorzieningen waren minimaal aanwezig, maar functioneel goed.

Convenience place in city center

Though I saw the review which says noise sometimes annoys guests because this hotel is in city center and there are many bars around there, not only I, but also my family, including 2 year child were able to enjoy the stay and sleep well. The atmosphere is not so high-class, but it was comfortable.

Für den privaten, gemütlichen Schlafplatz

Für uns war das Hotel genau richtig, da wir einfach nur einen Schlafplatz wollten, der uns den nötigen Komfort bietet und wo wir in Ruhe gelassen werden. Es ist sehr zentral und strandnah gelegen, sodass wir alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und interessanten Orte, sowie viel Nachtleben in Laufnähe hatten. Das Zimmer war außerdem absolut sauber, das Bad groß und neuwertig ausgestattet. Da das Hotel sich durch den nicht vorhandenen/bzw. unpersönlichen Service, sowie dem Mangel an Frühstück oder sonstigem Essen/Getränken nicht für die eignet, die sich auch länger im Hotel aufhalten und wohlfühlen/abschalten wollen, gibt es ein paar Punkte Abzug.

Hotel en pleno centro de San Sebastian funcional

Es una pensión en pleno centro de San Sebastián , su ubicación es su fuerte, la habitación tiene un tamaño normal a nosotros con la cama supletoria para la niña se nos quedó bastante pequeña. El baño está muy bien de tamaño y la ducha funcionó muy bien, no ponen jabón en la ducha sólo para las manos.Estuvimos dos noches y nos arreglaron la habitación. No hay nunca nadie en la recepción, sólo si hay laguna entrada ya que pagas el total de la estancia nada más llegar y el parking con el que tienen concierto también, 37E 2 días. Hay ascensor pequeño aunque es un primero y no hace falta.
