Best location and space!

We loved our stay at Pension Ab Domini. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the space was clean and ample and the location could not have been any more perfect. If we’re able to visit San Sebastian again, we will only look to stay here again.

Very close to the city center , able to walk everywhere

Great location

Room 3 was advertised. We were placed in room 1 which was tiny. The check in person did not speak English to discuss. We did not feel safe as the code to enter the building was the same as the pension building. Would never stay there again.

Great place, very warm welcome, fantastic location

The pension is really nice, we received a very warm welcome, and the staff were very helpful during the whole stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had our room upgraded halfway through which was a nice touch. The first room was fairly small but had everything we needed, and came with complimentary drinks, hot drink facilities and lots of small extras. The second room was much bigger and nicer, but both were clean and had lots of nice touches. Location is superb being right on the edge of the old town. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended

Great value & position perfect

A great basic pension in a fantastic position. Our room was small but adequate and had a lovely small balcony that looked out over the street below. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming even though we had no Spanish. We would recommend Ab Domini without hesitation - great value for money.

it was amazing to be in the center of everything! our hostess was fantastic and added all kinds of perks and treats! sooo accommodating and friendly. we would HIGHLY recommend staying here😀

Great neighbourhood , interesting old building , walkable to so many sights and right in the thick of the pinxtos food scene .

Wondeful little place, clean, cozy and easy to walk everywhere. Staff are very friendly and their cafe and restaurant recommendations are excellent.

The room was clean and pleasant but cramped. The hostess was very good as was the location.

Love this pension!

Claudia and her staff are so wonderful and our room with private bathroom is very clean and nice, great old town location for famous pintxo restaurants, shopping, transportation, 3 minutes walk to Drop off laundry service for 15€/per bag, and indoor market also near by to purchase cheeses, fruits.

The pension was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and informative. The location is close to the old town and beaches, but this had the negative of a lot of noise both day and night.

Excellent location, clean a friendly staff!

Friendly hotel in centre of town

Found the hotel easily. Upstairs but good working lift so luggage up to the hotel floor was easy. I selected the room with its own bathroom which was well worth the extra cost. The view was great over the church and town streets. Only a little street noise as windows well insulated. Room clean and tidy with a lovely suprize of bubbles and juice free of charge. Staff were helpful, spoke English and were able to advise about local restaurants and things to do. Loved our stay.

Great place for a short stay!

Lovely place to stay. Didn't realize it was 2 shared bathrooms for 5 rooms until we arrived but it was not a problem as we almost never had to wait for the bathroom and both bathrooms were kept very clean. Highly recommend - location is excellent too!

Cute hotel located in old town between 2 beaches

Very cute hotel with amazing location directly in old town (where the pinxtos trail and nightlife is) and short walk to Playa Concha and Zurriola. Hotel is also essentially at the base of Mont Urgell so you can easy access to do a hike up and around the back to the Ocean. Aside from the great location, the best part about the hotel is the owner's love of her place and attention to detail. She really wants you to enjoy her place, provides a bottle of cava and a couple waters and mini fridge in the room, has pre-ready towels and separately beach towels, a blow dryer in the room seperate from the washroom for girls getting ready and maps of all of her favourite restaurants and how to get around. The little balcony and window openings get great fresh air into the room so we had great ciesta's. Overall great stay for 2 nights in San Sebastian. Absolutely would stay again.

Perfect location Beautiful room Claudia was lovely

Unbeatable location for a great value

Claudia is very nice and the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Overall the value is great - we even splurged on the corner room which is very nice. Claudia emailed a couple days before to ask when we would be there; although the place only has five rooms, she was at the front desk from noon to 9pm both days we were there which is impressive. The room was clean, there was a fan - which was nice to add to some air we could get by opening the windows. I would come back for the location!!

A short stay in San Sebastián

I want to start saying that I loved the town of San Sebastián. The hotel’s location is the best you can buy for the money. The hotel is next to the plaza del Mercado in the old town. t’s central and ideal walking distance, for tapas hopping. Claudia gave us nice attention suggesting the best places to go for tapas. The hotel itself is an older small apartment going up a couple flight of stairs. The room is small and cozy. There is a small fridge with some complimentary water, soda, and juice which were very convenient.

A great location in a Great Place to visit.

A perfect location in this lovely town. Entrance a little shabby but don't be put off! Accommodation on second floor but has lift. Small reception friendly helpful staff. Our room was one of two with private bathroom, room was a little small but compact with Comfy bed but pillows rather hard.Lovely white bedding and towels. The waldrobe door came off when opened, but was repaired later that day. Nice touches, free soft drinks etc in fridge and tea, coffee & biscuits. Safe in waldrobe. Bathroom had large shower and variety of free toiletries. Dressing gown and slippers. Great central location for Restaurant's, Bars Beach, Parks etc all within easy walking distance. Only downside opposite is a school and every morning 8-8.30am was noisy with children playing in playground !! Would we stay again Yes. .

Amazing hotel in city center

Beatriz was waiting for us til 1:20 in the morning. Very nice and kind. I recommend to everyone to come here at ab domini. Very good experience

Awesome Budget Hotel!

Awesome budget hotel. Great location and allows you to have a great stay while allowing you to spend your money on the things that really matter... food! The staff was great from top to bottom. Loved it, even if the walls were a little thin.

Great value and perfect location

We were warmly welcomed and the room was made ready for us as soon as possible. The manager made some restaurant recommendations which proved to be excellent for both quality and value. The room had a minbar with free water and soft drinks. A bottle of cava was also offered on arrival. The bathrooom was shared but this was not an issue as it was just across the corridor; gowns and disposable footwear were provided. Location of the property is great with easy access to the old town for bars and restaurants and the beach at Gros. Very highly recommended.

Nice little hotel next to old town. Helpful staff.

We had a great stay here. Free water, juice and a bottle of champagne on arrival. Although the toilets and showers are external to the room they were very close, always clean and almost always available. Most importantly, Claudia was super helpful. We both lost our bags on separate airlines, and she helped speak to the airlines and coordinate their return to us. Highly recommended.

Attractive, atmospheric hotel in central location.

We travelled quite extensively in Spain. We can say that San Sebastian is our favourite one. What a beautiful city, with stunning beaches and dotted with hundreds of tapas bars. The food is amazingly tasty. We will visit this place again.

Try to find something better

Excellent location and very helpful, friendly staff. Very tiny room that was primitive in furnishings. We loved San Sebastián and have never been here before, but we have to believe there are better places to stay for less cost. Other places we have stayed in Spain give much greater value in lodging for a lot less money. Also, there is no parking and you cannot even get close to the pension to unload your car. You must walk about 3 blocks from the underground parking lot with all your luggage, so that may be an issue for some visitors. The pension gets you a discount on the parking, but still 15 Euros per day with the discount.

Claudia was very knowledgable of the area and things to do, see & eat, including a map breaking down the eating establishments by type (pinchos, tapas, sit down restaurant etc) which is very useful in a foodie town like San Sebastian. Perfect location in the old town, right "amoung" it all but not exposed to the revelry going on into the small hours. The shares bathroom situation was no problem at all as two to choose from, both the best we have found so far in Spain, always clean and never encountered anyone else using them. Nice hotel in Old Town

Great location for walking to sights. Lots of pinxtos bars for food/drink. Try fresh anchovies and cod, local wines. Not too noisy for this 50+ who felt safe out at night. Best shower ever, bed a bit too soft for me. San Sebastián a great place!

Great location and money well spent

Perfect location, close to everything of importance such as good restaurants and beaches. Somewhat easy to hear the people next door, was not an issues for us as it’s a small place. Very friendly hostess and well worth the money

Perfect old town spot!

A great location if you want to eat pinxtos in the old town, which you should! A little noisy at night but if you are out then it doesn’t matter! Easy access and great service.

Amazing

A jewel. Perfect place to stay in San Seb. True 'Spanish' area, with identity. Great tapas / pinxos places and bars around, a hill to climb, between two beaches (!), and in general beautiful. PS: Catch Gross - the brewery in the same building.

Good value accommodation in a great location right in the old town of San Sebastian. Rooms were clean and well equipped and the shared bathrooms clean. Receptionist really lovely and friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for local bars and restaurants

MUY RECOMENDABLE

Edificio antiguo, muy calentito y en pleno centro. Tienen muchos detalles (albornoz, zapatillas, variedad de amenities, minibar gratis, tapones para los oídos (por coincidir con fiesta, supongo),... Muy buena elección

Utmärkt läge

Det enda lilla negativa är något små rum. Allt annat mycket bra. Bra städning, mycket trevlig personal och perfekt läge i gamla stan.

Guter Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage

Zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Altstadt. Gute Essensmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Für die zentrale Lage war das Zimmer ruhig. Personal sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich, insbesondere auch bei Problembewältigungen.

Perfekt läge och bra logi

Ab Domini ligger helt perfekt i San Sebastian, bara några få steg från mängder av barer och restauranget och 5-10 minuters promenad från de stora shoppinggatorna. Pensionen i sig är visserligen litet ålderdomlig, men väl renoverad och med fräscht badrum. Personalen hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Enda problemet är att det rum vi hade verkligen var i minsta laget - det gick inte att öppna resväskan på golvet och ändå ha fri passage runt sängen. Fr en vistelse på två dagar gick det någorlunda, men i det långa loppet hade det blivit irriterande.

旧市街地のど真ん中で周囲にタパスレストランがありとても便利なペンション

従業員がとてもフレンドリーでレストラン予約、駅までの早朝タクシー手配、小旅行の相談など一生懸命対応してくれるのが好感が持て心地よい。 このペンションは有名なタパス料理店がすぐそばでとても便利である。というのは旧市街は １２時PMから車両乗り入れ禁止でタクシーが入れないので要注意。 ペンションの性格上からトイレシャワーは共同ですが、２か所隣接しており、特に問題はなく料金は良心的で割安感あり。

Super séjour, super accueil, très bien placé, seul bémol l’école maternelle juste en dessous et donc du bruit des 7h du matin.
