Very nice, clean and up-to-date rooms. Would definitely visit again!

Parking ok but tight. A cutting board would have been great to have.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was big and it had everything I needed for the night. The space was mostly clean but there we’re definitely places that were missed. I did not see a member of staff until I left the next day and saw housekeeping from a distance. To check in I had to find my name on a list and let myself into the room- the door was wide open. The check in isn’t really an issue but I did have a couple of issues with the bath and there was no one to speak to. The jacuzzi bath that I paid extra for did not work. There was a contact number but I have an international phone and did not want to be charged a fortune to let them know. I checked reception a few times but there was never anyone there.

Booked for a few days over New Years. Actually ended up meeting up with friends so didnt stay at the Motel much. But the place was awesome. Really nice rooms, in a fantastic location.

It was very clean and tidy, had a good selection of kitchen utensils and cooking ware

This little motel is tucked away in a non-busy part of Whitianga so it’s very quiet with personal service. We loved the little patio. Sofa bed was actually very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Convenient access to everything in Whitianga. Friendly proprietor and everything seemed new or in great condition! Soft towels and a comfy bed. Highly recommend this hotel.

Oldie But Goodie!

This is an older motel with little kitchenettes in great condition with the most beautiful dishes made in New Zealand. It was quiet and comfortable until early morning when the traffic started. We did have the windows open to make it a nice cool night.

A very nice place to stay ,the unit are of a older age but are very well presented , a good area vey close to town and eateries

Delightful and easy, very respectful and peaceful even for this time of the year. I didn’t even feel like a motel, I felt like it was just an extension of my house

Check put time is 10 am and they wouldn't even gave 30 min extra. Rest all was great.

Fab rm/GREAT BED/Everything U need for a month!! Luvly private little deck! One tiny suggestion? Add some more hooks please?

Was ok

This was our second stay at the house at property. We are a family of six and loved the three bedrooms and two toilets plus full kitchen. We have no complaints at all and highly recommend staying here!

Looks like property has undergone an upgrade. Rooms bed, tv, shower all top class Road frontage unit's are noisy from traffic passing. Had to park away from unit making it difficult yo load snd unload vehicle. Overall enjoyed our stay but have seen better.

Fred and property were both great. The room was spotless, included everything you need, and is an easy walk to town. I’d highly recommend.

Second time staying for a girls weekend and we will no doubt return again. Clean, well appointed units with amazing water pressure in the showers. Great base to walk to Lost Springs and town.

This is a great property. While the facility is clearly older, it is very well maintained and even gives a cool retro vibe. We stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Everything in the area is walkable including this location. The heated blankets were a nice touch and the studio that we were in had dishes and a full kitchen set up. Very clean and all around comfortable! Instructions were clear and it was a great stay overall.

Really nice modern clean apartment close to the waterfront and town centre. Good facilities, nice patio with table & chairs. Very comfortable bed. Great coffee and food at Espy’s and the museum worth a visit.

This place was perfectly adequate for a 1 night stopover. I find contactless check-in weird, but in this instance it worked.

The staff at the peninsular motel were great, very friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised

We weren't sure what to expect when we drove in. We just picked up a key in the office and the room was open. Very clean. Loved jacuzzi. Comfy bed. Great location!

A lovely place. We had everything we needed. The only thing I wished for is a lock on the bathroom door which is essential when you need to hideaway from your kids:)

Spacious room with private deck, well care for property neat and tidy. Within walking distance to beautiful waterfront beach. There is no air conditioning but a fan is provided. Windows and slider open wide to allow for breeze, but there are no screens.

We liked the quietness we had a unit in the back corner which was very private. The only concern was a damp smell in the bathroom maybe needs attention.

Stayed with a friend for a girls weekend and were easily able to walk to both the lost springs and town. Older room was dated, but very functional and clean. Tapware has all been updated and the shower is amazing! Had a weird glitch where our key didn’t work and we were locked out afterhours. The manager was quick to come rescue us and swap out the key, all within a couple of minutes. Would happily stay again.

Met with a smile and a friendly greeting. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Only there for one night but close to everything that was required. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay, our motel was perfect for our family and we had such nice hosts! The motel has unlimited shampoo and body wash which was awesome! Located about 5mins from town/wharf, and just a really nice homely feel. Would definitely come back here again! Thanks team :)

Decent and clean

Clean n quite a big unit with a living room N bedroom separated. The toilet n shower stall is outside the bedroom near the living room n kitchen Feel like you walk into a Time Machine as the fittings are antique but very well Maintained. Bed has electric blanket n the place has 2 portable heater too.

Very generous sized room providing ample space - arm chairs & coffee table were a nice change. Good sized bathroom with double spa bath. Bed was very comfortable. We had a room at the back of the property which was very quiet. Easy access & parking, close enough that you could walk to restaurants, bars, etc.

Lovely clean and tidy, good price for last minute accommodation and a very nice place to stay. Will be back

Enjoyable stay

Highly recommend staying at this Motel. Very clean and comfortable beds.

We are a family of five. Unfortunately after a big day of travel there was no hot water at all for showers. We planned to eat simple meal in that night and unfortunately the oven took over two times as long to heat up dinner. No hot water to wash up dishes. Next morning nil hot water again for showers. Unit was clean and has heater but unfortunately we weee disappointed about the facilities.
