Breakfast was not good

Staff were friendly, Mala was very helpful and has welcoming spirit that guests feel at home. We were moved to a deluxe by a lovely staff and she was so efficient and professional.

Had no water when we woke up in the morning. Couldn't shower, brush our teeth, or use the toilet. Had to checkout early. Need a refund.

As soon as we entered our room .we saw rubbish outside our room and as we entered inside mosquitoes were in the room we had to move to another room.that was not a good experience for me.

Everything is old, dirty and mostly broken. Proper maintenance, cleaning and painting is needed. Its not a good place to stay.

The property was so dirty. Bugs everywhere. Everything looked so dirty. Breakfast was very limited and not organized.

The propert is clean. Convenient to the transportation as taxi stand is there. Friendly staffs. Things that need to be improved, the hot water system was not working. I used my mobile to order in service to the room. Telephone landline to be fixed. Broken tiles. Otherwise Standard room is clean

the property was conveniently located with a $3 cab ride to market and city centre the rooms were tired and in need a significant maintenance the bed was of a back breaking poor standard that sagged in the middle. the bottle opener on the bathroom wall was novel, but i would have prepared a door handle that worked. the bar downstairs was good for snacks and relatively cheap drinks breakfast was slim pickings with very basic continental breakfast and slow service.

It was okay and the staff was actually helpful.

There was no towels and had to request for them. The food was salty. The cafe didn't have enough supply of coffee beans and had to find coffee somewhere else.

The 4 day stay was homely. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed me stay there and this wasn't the first stay there and will continue in future.

I booked a Suite room through Expedia. Arrived at the Hotel and was given a Deluxe room, not what I booked! I had to return to the front desk and demand a Suite. The person tried to talk me out of a Suite that I paid for saying the Deluxe room was better. The Deluxe room was dirty, especially the bathroom. I would not shower in the bath! On the other hand the food in the restaurant area was good. I will not be returning to this hotel and certainly will not be recommending to anyone to stay there.

Like : Taxi readily available, easy access to the Suva city Dislike: No extra towel requested whole time but no respond, the bathroom window is transparent. One time they replenish me with SUGAR only no coffee and no tea, huh?

I stayed for 4 nights, truely loved the hospitality of the all staff especially the reception ladies. I came to clean room everyday. I felt safe and everyone was very helpful. I will highly recommend this hotel. It’s affordable and closer to amenities. Thanks Zereen Waniya

I will never ever go back to Peninsula Suva being my favourite 10 years ago Our friends from India found mice in property on arrival and our room was not even ready by 3pm jug not working No batteries in remote safe not working inadequate lighting by rooms and car park just a few to mention

I found staff friendly, rooms neat and tidy and very convenient moving around Suva and Nausori.

Great service and friendly staff! Just need to beware of the need bugs. Floors are cold and would recommended to bring your own room slippers. Shampoo and conditioner and body shower is superb!

The bathtub was rusty . The pool was not clean had cleaning signs on all the time. The building is old

The pull out bed was broken.it took them 4 hours to give us another room which was dirty. There was so much noise in front of our room because they all were drinking grog.Complained twice in reception nothing was done.We had to get out of the room and went away because of the noise.Came back around 11.30pm .the party was still going on with disregard of other guest.The breakfast was horrible nothing was there to eat .We left without eating. Very unprofessional. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Food at the restaurant is good, especially pizza and ice coffee. Friendly staff, though i usually feel itchy lying on the bed, just need to check for bed bugs.

My husband and I did not have a good experience. The room assigned was dirty, towels did not look clean and it was very noisy even late at night. The staff however were friendly overall.

Bathroom and room are too small. Not enough hot water.

Great hotel

The maids did their best to keep the rooms clean but the room had cockroaches.

Everything is great except rowdy drunkards that made the disturbing noise at the odd hours of the Saturday 3/08/24 morning. Hope this is strictly forbidden in the future to avoid unnecessary nuisance.

Great Location but when booking make sure size of room you book

I booked and paid for a Suite, but upon checkin I was given a Deluxe Room. I was so annoyed because a Suite is the most expensive Room which I deliberately booked to stay in. I argued with the Receptionist at the desk that I booked for a Suite and not a Deluxe. I called notified Expedia. They called the hotel and all I was offered was a complimentary dinner. Expedia has offered to give me a $25 voucher which I am still to receive. Always double your booking that you will get the Room you booked and paid for before you accept the key to your Room. I was ripped off.

-The pool side bar was closed and the pool itself was underwhelming. The staff and services were great. So i guess its a balance 3.5/5 stars from me

The reception area and bar were nice, but our room was quite run down, as was the pool. There was no hair dryer available. The location is good, not far to walk downtown, and there’s an excellent restaurant very close by.

Excellent staff

The property is definitely aged and could use some TLC, however the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food onsite is good, and they addressed any issues with the room quite quickly. You could do worse given the price range.

Staff are good, well trained, always smiling. More cleaning in the room would work, saw some bugs around breakfast food walking, that created a sort of precautionary thoughts of not to eat unpacked food.

Water leaking on my bed. Took pictures and advice Expedia and hotel. Hotel said they will refund me for one night but still waiting for refund to come. Please check and advise.

Great hotel to stay over the weekend. Popped over for a conference which was on walking distance to the venue, to the beach and Central Suva.

Good location and amazing staff and service. Perhaps more options on the buffet breakfast otherwise okay.

I slept on a used sheets. Reported it in the morning. Was told that someone will change the sheets but whwn i returned to my room in the evening, nothing was done. Even thoughi hung "Please make my room." I wont trust this place in near future.

Very handy and close to city and Flagstaff Plaza. Maintenance not been kept upto date, leaking toilet, had cold showers.

The room was not up to expectations. The bathroom was too dirty. Plus it had bed bugs and despite changing the room it still had bed bugs. The maids were too poor in doing the rooms.

Always enjoy staying at Peninsula. Lovely bed, friendly staff. Always willing to help. Didn't like, bathroom door was not lockable, window was leaking during heavy rain, would flood the room floor and making it unsafe. The shower was so slow and limited hot water.

Driveway to carpark too steep for cars to drive in.

Good location. Service not acceptable. Asked for towels at 11.00 am and didn’t get it until 5.30 pm. Had a wedding to attend and end up going without shower. I would not recommend to my family and friends. The pipe was leaking from the sink

Needed update

Parking is limited and very unsafe...our car got damaged while parking and we were told to park on the street and then we got a hit and run case on our car...driver side of the car got scrated and dented...told the manager but nothing was done about it...asked them we wanted to see the camera footage but didnt get to see that either...we wasted $400 in total on both the repairs

Wasn't to the spec found bed bugs have bitten me on first day complained than they changed that room was ok but in overall i didn't enjoyed my stays
