We really enjoyed our stay here. We opted for an ocean view room, which was located on the seventh floor. The view was breathtaking, however, the Wi-Fi seemed not to reach our floor very well. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. There are plenty of convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. They utilize the gym from a neighboring hotel, which I did not mind because it was well equipped. The pool is also one of a neighboring hotel and located in a non-secluded area so it did not seem to be utilized much. The rooftop bar and restaurant was very nice with great views as well. Available seating, delicious food, and a DJ on the weekends. However, the two nights that we were there did not have very many people, but was still a good vibe overall.

The bar on the top had good environment and also some extra cost. It is worth noting that the rooms were smaller than expected. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Unacceptable

Hotel was fine besides the last night when I awoke with three strangers in my room trying to open my safe. One was hotel staff. This was at midnight and extremely confronting. Apparently they had the wrong room. I guess we will never know. Didn't even receive an apology in the morning. Simply unacceptable!

Had problem,upon,che221cking in with room electrical system shorting out. Required move to,Lower room for two days to fix. Upon return to,orig room,3511, water seepage on floor from air condition problem resulted in fall injuring left toe.

Room 3710

We were twice been given to room 3710 which we found this room does not belong to seaview though we had booked sea view. The staff recognised us and had managed to change our room to seaview room. Hope management could consider to change 3710 to city view instead.

We five friends travelled to Pattaya end of January and stayed at Sea View hotel for three nights. I should say, we enjoyed a lot at this hotel. The front office staff were so friendly and accomodative. We had asked for ealry check-in and they had promptly blocked a room for us. However, we could reach only by 2 PM and that took care of all our rooms being ready when we reached. Breakfast spread is good and the lobby for relaxing and having a beer is awesome. Would definitely recommend this for couples and friends. Ocean view rooms are excellent and is quite big in size. Overall a great experience.

Fun time in Pattaya

Hotel located in a good location , not far from the beach but far enough to get away from all traffic noise. Just a walking distance to Walking street market , lady-boy show , Big C supermarket , KFC , Hooter ..etc... Breakfast at hotel is excellent .. Nice and friendly staff . Wi-Fi barely works in room but OK in lobby

Lovely Small Hotel

We had a good time in Thailand, thanks to Pattaya Seaview Hotel and its perfect location. Very close to everything and the hotel itself was clean, modern and staff are friendly. Will be back next time.

Fantastic sea view room

Not on the beach front but a side view over the top of buildings to the sea. It was a great view, stunning, gorgeous during the day and at night. Infinity pool was cool to. Nice hotel. Food and drink expensive but other restaurants and food stalls close

Hotel offering great facilities

I really liked this hotel. Had a choice of 2 pools, breakfast was good, close to beach, could park my car in the hotel car park. The staff at front desk were friendly & helpful. The view of beach was a little obstructed even though I stay in seaview room on 6th floor - but no big issue.

Poor and decieved

Hotels looks good from the outside. Rooms had mould. Balcony had no table or chairs and if your a smoker bending down to ash your ciggy is very annoying. Aircon is good. Toilets were average and mouldy. I booked a double king bed but when i arrived they said the whole hotel only has twin beds. The restaraunt dwnstairs is good and staff are friendly. I feel decieved about the bed situation as when i booked through hotel.com i chose a king bed. I ended up checking out a day early and moving elsewhere. There were also small ants in the room.

The bed was well above what you usually find in Thailand, even at nice hotels. It was a great combination of firm and soft. Lots of pillows. The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. It's a 4-star hotel by Thai standards. The location is OK. There are two hotels between this one and Beach Road, so it isn't directly on Beach Road. It's between Beach Road (150 Ft) and Second Road so the location is OK. The staff is great and helpful.

Not coming back

Room - very clean, spacious, toilet is perfect, although the sofa next to bed is quiet old and a little musty Service - No iron!! Some people require this to iron clothes (like me & my friends) and we called the front reception if they have it. It is our fault to called her like 3 times and ask the same thing (different caller) and she got angry and hang up roughly - but the only reason we called 3 times was because we don't even understand her pronounciation (she pronounce iron as eye-ron and she kept saying that we are the one who pronounce it wrong. Location - not right infront of Pattaya beach, need to enter a small alley and veryyyyyyy far to the largest mall in Pattaya...surrounding is quiet dull and no flea market too :( clearly just nothing to see other than empty beach overall, not going to stay here again because of the location.

Nice trip

Enjoyed it but I can never understand y Thai people will not learn English seeing tourism is big business in the country. Makes it hard to communicate. I was dropped off at a wrong hotel as the driver did not understand me. Same happened to a girl in the taxi van. She asked to go north and they put her on the south route simply because the driver did not understand. Someone needs to tell the Thai government of this problem.

Rude front desk staff

Front desk staff were rude and has no customer service etiquette at all. Visitors are not allowed to visit without being charge 1000 Baht an hour. What kind of policy is that. Even calling a cab, we were charge by the front desk staff 70 Baht. Nice room overall with comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Disappointing!

Because of the pricing, I was not expected so nice room but the room itself is very clean, and the location is pretty close to the beach which is nice.

Good beach hotel

Stayed here for a week in February. Had some concerns about staying in the Pattaya area after reading some guidebooks, but given the photos from the hotel and and others on the internet showing the proximity to the beach, we decided to give it a try. Turns out the hotel photos were accurate. We had a lovely ocean view room on the 8th floor. The room was in very good condition and the balcony view of the gulf spectacular. Be sure to request an upper floor. Lower floors may have a blocked view. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. A very good breakfast was included in the room rate. We tried the hotel restaurant for dinner, but found it mediocre. There are better choices outside the hotel. Overall, we were pleasantly suprised by Pattaya. Much more family oriented than we expected. Lots of activities at the beach, jet skis, speed boats, parasailing, etc. Do visit Koh Larn island just offshore. We enjoyed the ferry for 30 baht, nice 45 minute boat trip and spectacular white sandy beaches with beauiful clear water. We had the best freshly caught fried shrimp ever at a little restaurant on the beach in Koh Larn.

No deep soaking bathtub as listed!

I booked a Superior Room, City View, however there was no deep soaking bathtub in the room as listed. The hotel stated that there are only certain rooms with a deep soaking bathtub and that this was subject to availability. I pointed out that they couldn't claim "subject to availability" when the deep soaking bathtub was clearly listed. I asked them to update their hotels.com listing to correct this mistake but they refused saying that it was not their mistake but the mistake of hotels.com. They refused to provide an upgrade to compensate me for this. I was livid. I e-mailed hotels.com and received a response confirming the room should have had a deep soaking bathtub and asking me to call them on their toll free number. I called hotels.com after my holiday and they immediately refunded the whole amount paid for 5 nights (£184.24). Every credit to hotels.com! Apart from this the hotel was fine for the price paid, with a reasonable breakfast. City view in reality was no view (just a view of the concrete side wall of the adjacent property). Hotel / room listing stated: There's an outdoor pool and a beach bar, and rooms at this upscale hotel include upscale features like fireplaces and soaking tubs. Bathroom - Private bathroom, deep soaking bathtub.

Value for money

Folks! be careful before making advance booking.

Although I had booked two superior ocean view rooms 2 months in advance but only one room was provided as shown in the preview. The second room was much smaller and without sofa and also provided on a separate floor whereas we being a family of five wanted adjacent rooms. My request to change the room was turned down on the pretext of non-availability. Looks like the hotel is not keen on keeping commitments perhaps due to the fact that I had paid all the money in advance. I felt cheated on this count.

Worst hotel experience in my life.

Avoid this hotel. I read that some customers had had some problems e.g. with the reception woman, but I am social, polite, and have never had any problems before with bookings. Not so this time. I asked for a room with bath thub, they showed me one room with bath thub, and my booking said a room with bath tub, but they gave me a different room of much lower standard without bath thub. Then they lie and lie and lie, and force me to pay extra for an upgrade to the room they showed me. Hotels.com's method that you pay first, non refundable, makes this much worse. It is not safe to book with this hotel, I regret it. My recommendation to the hotel management: Make sure the booking descriptions matches the different room classes that you have. You have very few rooms with bath tubs, and the quality of the rooms was hugely different. Make sure this is reflected in the pictures and descriptions for each room class. Please give the staff a salary that depends on customer satisfaktion, today at least one of the staff enjoyed to try to torture me, while breaking the booking agreement. I do not care, no one can torture me, I can pay and pay and pay for you breaking the agreement. But I will never return, and so wont my facebook contacts, and my followers at different social media.

Seaview Pattaya

The hotel is just off the beach road, not on it. Room was good and spacious. There month breakfast was very good too (even when it got crowded!). Motorcycle rental (not affiliated to the hotel) is available right across the street. Overall very convenient.

What a Mistake

Gosh, this hotel is ready BAD. The service staffs are rude and the room does not even have iron and iron board. My ONLY and last time for sure! Give this a miss.

Very nice hotel in a quiat street. Close to the beach, but not at the front. I stayed at an ocean view room, and expected a clear view to the ocean/beach, but it was more partial view and from a distance. Facilities and staff are great.

The room is clean and big, but the kettle is full of mold, seems terrible. And it can hear next room easily, the soundproof is not that good, by the way, it is convenient and clean and comfortable. Lots of bar and restaurant around the hotel.

Pleasant stay

I stay briefly in the Pattaya See View Hotel. Hotel is clean, rooms are fine with desk, free wifi, confortable king size bed and large bathroom and private parking for motobike. Swimming pool is a bit small. No time for breakfast but buffet seems to be good. Location is good near taxi and beach. Staff at reception was quite helpfull as i needed a lot of information about Internet, bike rental, some shops and other facilities one of the lady help me with conscientiousness and kindness - i dont remember her name but it was like Usa? P. sorry for her name. Nice stay ! I will stay there again. Thank you

Good Hotel

This is a really nice hotel for an affordable price. The breakfast buffet price is way too high if you don't buy it with the room however. But, the thing I was most impressed with was the friendly staff and great service. I was not sure if I wanted to use this hotel or not after having a bad experience with another one. Miss Usanee at the front desk was so very kind, friendly and helpful to me. She stopped everything she was doing and took me to personally see several rooms explaining very carefully the benefits of each room and pricing differences. She was also very patient with me as I decided to book directly through the expedia website and held the room for me until the reservation was verified. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is also very close to beach, and not far from other good locations and activities whatever you are looking for.

Unfriendly. Noisy hallways with slamming doors and pounding on walls. Money-grabbing hospitality. Pushy cleaners (watch your change.) I wouldn't recommend to a friend. It is clean and stylish- too bad the insides do not match the outsides. Price of room went up from $35 to $110 overnight. Left feeling like I was served a tampered coffee.

Great location, friendly staff

We came here for a weekend getaway from Hong Kong and picked the hotel without knowing too much about Pattaya. The staff took care of us the moment we arrived and were unfailingly friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. The location is great, walkable to several shopping malls and restaurants, though if you want to go to the walking street or the local tourist sights (the wat and the peak) you need to take a taxi or tuktuk.

The best part of this hotel was the room - nice and spacious plus kept clean. The breakfast was cooked to order and acceptable but plenty of local Thai place to eat also. Staff were friendly with a reasonable grasp of English so no issues there.

HI. Well to begin with I was coming from Siem Reap to Pattaya buy mini van so i was extremely exhausted from the trip the trip took 10 or so hours. When I arrived they told me that my room was not ready so I was a little angry and almost lost my cool since it was 4:30 and my check in time was 2:00. But I miss understood the manager he said that if I want an upgrade I should wait 20 minutes so I did. The room was very nice and I had a great view of the beach. The room was big and the bathroom was awesome. The pool was useless because there was no sunshine on the pool so don't expect to use the pool.The location was nice the beach is right in front and if you walk toward second there are some nice decent beer bars. Good location.

I had a very good time at the Hotel. The rooms were VERY good. Spacious, Natural Lighting, Sea View and the Bathroom was one of a kind. Got relaxed there and i would say that all the negative reviews i read before for this hotel had me kind of worried but then when i reached there i was shocked to see how wrong they were.
