Nicole and her staff were very accommodating and so welcoming. We were in the area for a Wedding and Nicole even suggested a member of her staff drive us to and from the Wedding venue . The Rooms were divine , comfortable , cool (it was a very hot weekend) and everything you need for a couple nights stay in this beautiful area of the Hunter Valley. Highly Recommend

Hotel accommodation with a B&B feel. David & Nicole go over and above to make you feel welcome. Amazing attention to detail is obvious everywhere you look. A lovely, homey feel yet artistic and creative at the same time!

First of all we couldn't get into the building...once we did it was completely dark we were shown to a room which was extremely disappointing..NOT at all what the pictures indicate the bedding was extremely not what you would expect in a Bed and Breakfast. I was really looking forward to staying but couldnt. I have stayed in many B&B's and have always been happy but this time...the pictures show a bright environment in all rooms I found them dark and oppressive.

The property and staff were lovely. I liked the quirky decor and the sweet cat that greeted me on arrival. The food was very tasty and nicely presented.

A fair bit of money has clearly been spent on this property. You won't get many authentic heritage accomodations as nicely done as this.

Superb stay. We were attending a wedding at Tocal Homestead about 4km away. After checking in we were driven back to the reception and dropped off, with a card to call when ready for pickup, then when we texted later that evening 15 min later our car had arrived. Great character, friendly staff, lots of breakfast options and really nice personal touches. For anyone staying in Paterson for a Tocal wedding, this should be your first and only option. Thanks for everything!!

My stay at KnQ far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like part of the family. The food was next level and the atmosphere throughout was just perfect. The pics online just don’t do this place justice and the 2 open fireplaces and big comfy lounges in the bar are just perfect for enjoying a local wine or two on a cold night. If you’re looking for a funky, friendly but sophisticated place to stay, you won’t find better.

We had 4 rooms booked to attend a wedding nearby. It is a historic building with beautifully decorated rooms. A friendly and generous host.

No access to communal rooms/lounges as glassware and cleaning products etc stored. No wood for the open fire. Strange breakfast of sweet mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon all chopped up with overcooked scrambled eggs- no toast nor coffee/tea. Disappointing for the high price paid. New owners….

The stay was perfect! The room was spacious and very tidy! The bed was really comfortable & the complimentary breakfast in the morning made it even better! We would definitely stay again!!

We had an amazing overnight stay for our wedding anniversary, at this beautiful property. An incredible cheese platter and a bottle of bubbly, sitting on the verandah taking in the wonderful views over Paterson. A great night sleep , then a delicious breakfast brought to our room. Our host was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for our very special visit.

It is a gorgeous place to stay,would have liked to stay longer. Safe were excellent. Highly recommend staying. Hope to return.

Great historical building. Balcony access from the rooms.

I loved my short stay at Paterson. It's a really pretty town north of Maitland. Train from Sydney. Accommodation was lovely, a former bank.

Everything was wonderful about this experience. The hosts were helpful in every way. Highly recommend.

Overnighter

Stayed here overnight for the rail motor open day, trip to dungog and back. Good size room, and pretty quiet out there. Everything within walking distance, which was pretty good to. And a good breakfast to.

Baeutiful heritage style bed and breakfast. The owner is friendly and accomodating and the room is clean and inviting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast and coffee was on point.. highly recommend!

Perefct!

Way up there with the nicest cleanest friendliest most accommodating places I've ever stayed. A little bit of a drive from where I needed to be, but so worth it. Thankyou!

Andrew was an excellent host. We enjoyed our stay and he was very informative about the local businesses. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfasts very much. The decor was tastefully redone.

We loved everything about our stay at Paterson Lodge. It is a beautiful old building in a quiet and lovely country town with beautiful surrounds. Andrew and his family made sure we were well looked after and made it such a great time - thank you!

Delightful good value bed and breakfast

Terrific bed and breakfast in picturesque Patterson. Really comfortable bed, nice en-suite bathroom and a delicious breakfast which was included in the room price. The Lodge has 5 bedrooms upstairs, with plenty of privacy, several verandahs for relaxing and sunset viewing, and beautiful views of Patterson river valley. Barrington Tops National Park is also a comfortable drive from Patterson. Highly recommend!

The Patterson Lodge is tourist destination, a stand out in terms of accommodation excellence, friendly clean, good value, loved the free breakfast, would definitely stay again.

North of Hunter Hideaway

Andrew is a great host, the room was very clean and perfect. Breakfast was extensive and high standard, Full English & Continental options, coffee was great. Just one tip, Tucker room was a little noisy, ask for a rear room, traffic on a weekday starts early for a small town.

Property and rooms are well kept, full of charm, owner’s and staff are very welcoming and professional.

The owners were so friendly and the garden was lovely. We had a beautiful breakfast sitting on the verandah. The bed was sooooo comfy, we are contemplating buying the same at home now. I loved that there was natural airflow in the rooms too, opening onto the balcony. It was all very quaint and we wish we could have spent more time there.

What a charming place to stay... Original a bank, it's now operating as a lovely hotel, with an attached dining room catering for guests, that's also a cafe for visitors off the street as well. Comfortable rooms that are modern (USB plugs built in to the wall sockets!), with all the facilities you need. Very friendly and welcoming owners, but still a nice relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful old brickwork just oozes warmth, and the beds are very comfortable. Being an older building, there is a bit of noise off the street, and from other areas of the guest rooms, but nothing too annoying. Just a charming place to stay. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic place to stay. I stayed for two nights, because we had a wedding nearby at Tocal Homestead. I was originally going to stay at the barracks tocal but am very glad I changed my booking last minute to here - a lot cheaper and also a great experience overall. We stayed in the tucker room. Whilst here we were shown true hospitality - you can tell the owners really care about their business/take a lot of pride in it, and put a lot of effort into making it a lovely place to stay - a lot of attention to detail with the food, drinks, cleanliness etc. They greeted us with a friendly face and attitude and made sure at all times we were comfortable and well looked after. I loved the fireplace in the breakfast area too. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with fantastic amenities. The breakfast was also delicious - I am a big foodie and was very happy with the bacon and eggs every morning. My stay here really made me reflect on how it’s so much better to support local businesses like this instead of large hotel chains etc, and it’s so much more personable too. You’ll be making a great decision to stay here- highly recommend. Wish all the best for this business!

Lovely quaint old world charm B&B Parking easy behind building-not undercover or numbered but sufficient and off road. Rooms lovely big and clean Cafe onsite and accommodating for platters etc and cafe adjacent does terrific burgers Breakfast lovely and included Only down side is we noticed the train noise….but I frequent once night fall.

A lovely place to stay and explore the surrounding districts. We couldn't (and wouldn't) fault the accommodation nor the treatment by the owners and staff. I'd happily recommend Paterson Lodge to anyone.

A lovely, gorgeous and quiet spot to rest for the night. Everthing you need and staff are helpful. Owner took the time to explain a change in local roadworks which would affect our attendance at a wedding. Very thoightful. Can't wait for breakfast downstairs 😋 nothing to fault. A little piece of quiet comfort.

Great place to stay in this little town. Great staff. We were made to feel welcome from the first minute. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The smell of home baking lingers in the air. We Stayed 2 nights and visited the nearby wine towns.

We stayed 3 nights and cannot recommend the CBC bed and breakfast highly enough. The room was lovely, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast options are amazing. There is no way you will leave feeling hungry. Super great value and the food and coffee were really good. I would happily stay here again. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay

My boyfriend and I were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely B&B. I'ts in a beautiful, character-filled historic building, and the decor is up to date and very tasteful, so it offers the best of both worlds. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful garden and the district views. We hope to visit again soon.

There is only one word to describe CBC Paterson - perfection. What a wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B. Our friendly hosts Andrew and Kaylene warmly wecolmed us and were always available to meet our needs but still ensured our privacy. The venue is newly renovated and very stylish. Immaculately clean rooms and common spaces. It featured a very comfy bed , wonderful shower/bathroom and balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Also great sitting room in the main area to watch tv and enjoy a drink or two. Every morning we were treated to a yummy breakfast with an array of choices and a great morning coffee to start the day. This is definately the place to stay in Paterson and we cannot wait to come back soon.
