amazing

Very nice place, but no TV unless you can remember your password for Netflix and Amazon.

The concierge service at the Parrot Cove is phenomenal. They bend over backwards, left right and sideways to make your experience fantastic. Please note they can’t control the weather. But what they have done, is gone through all the services in their area and weeded out the schiesters and kept those that produced. Chef Rob is an amazing artist of the culinary palette. There were several other amazing restaurants within walking distance. Next time we come to Hopkins, we for sure will be staying at Parrot Cove. Amazing service, check. Incredible food experiences, check. Clean, check. We were blessed!

The staff was very inviting and cordial. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The pool was clean and right on the beach. Would highly recommend staying at this lodge.

Food was excellent at Chez Robs

Had a great stay. We were one of the very few guests at the property and felt like we had the run of the place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

What’s not to love? Every single staff member made every day enjoyable! The rooms were clean and having dining onsite was a huge plus! Free breakfasts were awesome and got us energized for our days! Highly recommend!!

Great customer service

I was pretty much by myself. No one else in the hotel and I like that. The service was great. Having the ocean right there, bikes and kayaks at no charge is a plus

Chef Rob and his staff are very friendly and striving to to provide satisfying services. The hotel is clean, friendly and quiet nice vacation place. Emma at the front desk and Laticia from restaurant were amazing!

Amazing staff and view!

Staff was very nice and welcoming. Family room worked well for our family of 4 with 2 rooms and a futon Breakfast was great.

My fiance is from Belize and we love Hopkins, but this location is not by any good food. The complimentary breakfast was awful. It is a fixed menu and is the same thing every morning. Dinner was terrible as well. We couldn't eat there more than once. Everything was overcooked and unseasoned... Also no Belizean food. We had to ride to the other part of town to get good food. The pool is also very small and reminds me of an apartment pool. The staff here is amazing though

The staff was beyond friendly and professional. They did everything in their power to make sure we were pleased with our stay. I cannot say enough good things about how the staff was at this property. The rooms were also very comfortable and the bed was a superior quality bed. I would stay here again.

This property was one of the absolutely best that I have stayed at. My flight had been delayed so I made it in much later than expected. I was worried that I wouldn’t get into the room I had booked but the staff there was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we would still get settled in. Everything was absolutely perfect. My view was breathtaking. Staff was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay if they’re in Hopkins. I look forward to visiting again in the future!!!

Beautiful location right on the beach. Friendly staff and a terrific restaurant

Ocean view is killer

Nice accommodations. Clean. Staff was very nice. SUPs and kayaks not functional. Bike were nice to be able to use. Restaurant was great. Lots of mosquitoes and sand flies so bring bug spray.

Helpful staff took care of our extra needs at check-in, and we enjoyed our afternoon at the beach, as well as an excellent lobster dinner!

Nice place

Birthday in Belize

We visited for my partners birthday, the service provided before we even set foot in Parrot Cove was exceptional. Emmalyn helped us set up all our tours, answered all my emails within a day of receipt and gave clear directions for tours we had to set up by ourselves. We plan on staying here again for our next trip to Belize.

Our room was exceptionally clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great quiet charming spot

We had to make a last minute reservation here for one night after our flight home was cancelled. After staying up the beach at a larger resort (3 nights), I have to say that the charm and peacefulness of Parrot Cove was a wonderful surprise and treat. The family room was perfect for our family of four (two teens + two parents). The onsite restaurant, Chef Rob's was perfect and easy for dinner and delicious (included) breakfast.

Would stay there again

Not a bargain, but comfortable safe place to stay. They have free bikes, kayaks and paddle boards to use, which is not mentioned on the website. My bed was too hard, that is my only complaint. Breakfast was made to order and super yummy.

The staff are helpful and Chef Rob, is amazing chef, the food is delicious, the place quite far from the town but you can rent a golf cart or you can cycle. There’s a bicycle for the staff to use and Kayaks. The resort don’t serve lunch but lots of restaurants in the area. Beachfront hotel. We highly recommend the place and for sure we’ll be back to this Hotel

Staff made everything wonderful! Fortunately met some very nice people while there who were repeating there visit their! So much fun!

Staff and pool

Staff was top notch. Desk, kitchen, and maintenance went out of their way to make our stay nice. The pool was always clean and the kids used it often. It had a very nice beach and the hotel had kayaks and boards to use. The room was clean and in good order.

Great staffing

I was so thankful to arrive at this resort and stay in a pleasant ac room. The amenities are great. The only problem I had was when my hammock broke and I fell - however the staff quickly fixed it. The wait and bar staff were lovely.

I delightful inn on a lovely stretch of beach with excellent food.

The staff were amazing and a special shout out for Mike and Leticia, they were fabulous, Emma in the office was wonderful - overall the staff helped make this stay wonderful. The food was not as good as I would have expected, if you are using the word gourmet, then the quality should be higher. The pool was delightful. The rooms could do with a few more amenities - a case holder, hooks, more plug sockets, and more space to put away clothes.

The staff was great and very accommodating. Emma and Maritsa, front office women, were amazing!! The food at chef Rob’s restaurant was delicious. The property is close enough to the main village but far enough that you do need a mode of transportation. We rented a golf cart for the week from scallywag and it made our trip that much better. Parrot cove does offer bikes, free of charge, if you need to get to the main part of town. Would definitely stay again. Everyone was so welcoming.

Loved it

You'll love your entire stay!

We truly enjoyed our entire stay at Parrot Cove Lodge. The staff were exceptional in all that they did. Not only did they made sure that we enjoyed our stay, but they also made sure that we had the best tours and even checked the weather to make sure that we were going on tours on the days with the best weather. They even checked on us after we left the hotel to make sure that we arrived safely in Belize City and were able to get our Covid Tests. Chef Rob has a great team in the kitchen and we enjoyed every meal!

The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly! The breakfasts were different every morning and plentifully delicious!! The dinners were amazing as well and of gourmet status! We had a room with a balcony and loved hearing the sound of the ocean and watching the sun rise! Just a lovely setting! Lots of other restaurants within walking distance of the resort too for variety!! Would definitely stray again. Oh, did I mention fresh squeezed juices every morning? My favorite being a healthy al natural lime and ginger juice made by Mike and his lovely wife.

Quiet place to completely relax, but close enough to other area's in Hopkins to get out and enjoy the village.

We spent three lovely days and had a great time. This is a not a high-end place like some nearby, but rather a lovely, affordable step below. The room was more than comfortable for our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens). The room amenities were very good. We dined onsite throughout our stay and loved the food, the service, and the al fresco dining area. The staff is a wonderful group of folks. Maritsa was extremely helpful in arranging a tour of the nearby chocolate factory (really interesting) and a snorkeling outing. Lodging and food were quite reasonably priced. We recommend Parrot Cove highly. Great place for families.

We loved the Parrot Cove Lodge! Leticia was absolutely incredible and made us feel right at home! Emilynn and Martica were so sweet and awesome to help us with everything we need at check in! This place by far has the best food in Belize! Chef Rob is so creative with his dishes! Rico is a great addition to the team! :)

I absolutely loved this hotel. My girlfriend and I had a great experience. The staff was amazing, FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING, and the service was the best in Hopkins. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. Especially the staff here. Wonderful atmosphere and amenities with great breakfast. I had to extend!

We loved the size of the room and the oceanfront views. It was clean and had plenty of space for our belongings. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious and we also had dinner at the restaurant on site, and found the food to be excellent.

Chef Rob, our host, was terrific! Met all our needs, including early morning breakfasts served in time to meet our fishing guide. Will use Parrot Cove Lodge to book fishing guides in the future. Chef Rob even cooked our catch and that was amazing. He is a fantastic chef. Everyone who visits Hopkins needs to experience the fantastic cuisine at Parrot Cove Lodge.

The property is right on the beach with many extra equipments for us to use. Chef Rob and Marista are super friendly throughout our stay. We would definitely go back.

Nice hotel, excellent staff

My family of 4 stayed 4 nights here. Nice hotel, with EXCELLENT staff! Everyone from the owner/chef, front desk, restaurant servers, and housekeeper, are so friendly and seem to want you to have an amazing experience. They will take care of anything you need. Rooms are very clean and property is well maintained. Location is out of town, but it’s close enough to bike to. Restaurant is excellent and fairly priced. Let the front desk know what you want to do during your stay and they will make it happen.

Easy access to beach. Newer building. Great friendly staff. Chef Rob is passionate in what he is doing.

A jewel in Hopkins!

Well...what a jewel in Hopkins! Great people, fabulous food (Chef Rob is amazing), cold Belikin, and a fun time in a cozy lodge. We ventured out quite a bit but the time we stayed at the lodge was really nice. The rooms are "enough" ...with the view of the Caribbean being the main attraction!

Soooo amazing...and I'm a travel snob! Great, spacious room with a balcony. Friendly service, excursion places and fabulous spa next door. Would definitely go back!!!

This lodge is a hidden treasure! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The Parrot Cove Lodge exceeded my expectations.

Chef is European, very good food Be aware that Belize has very limited infra structure, the stores have no air condition, the food choices in a grocery store are extremely limited. and they are all run by Chinese ppl

The owner and staff at Parrot Cove are the best. They are the friendliest, eager to please team and a pleasure to get to know. The new friendships we made there will keep us coming back ! Chef Rob, Maritsa, Victoria, Moses, Matthew, Eddie, Shawna, Micah and Leticia will make you feel welcome and comfortable. Chef Rob manages the kitchen like the pro that he is, and the food reflects his attention to detail. If the wind gets up, the ocean gets a bit churned up, so don't expect calm clear waters every day. This is a boutique resort in a dusty little village, which is exactly what we were looking for. Typical wifi challenges that you will get in Belize, but who goes on vacation for that anyway? We loved our stay with the folks at Parrot cove.

Very pleasant lodge with excellent food and helpful staff. Only concern for potential users that it is a long way from the village and access is not convenient. There is a tradeoff between pleasant location and taking part in village life.

The Parrot Cove has the best staff.... very attentive and helpful. Our room was clean, the beach was very nice, food really good, the included breakfast was always different and tasty, free water was super helpful, bikes, paddle boards and some crappy kayaks to use. Maritsa set us up on two different fishing/snorkeling excursions.... both were fun but I recommend Patrick and going to Bread and Butter Caye to cook your fish.

The owners are very nice. Loved all of their staff!! Watch out for the mosquitoes day and night!!!

Ripped off

Don’t mind paying a little more for convenience but charging $20 US for calling a cab is an outrage. Will never go back here. Left a very bad taste in our mouths. Room was just ok, nothing special at all especially for the price. Bartender and server Eddie were a delight. Lots of nicer places to stay in Hopkins. Love this beach town.

Can't wait to return!

We loved Parrot Cove Lodge and look forward to returning. The location was great -- Hopkins is great -- and Chef Rob's team (and family) made us feel like family. We were there at the beginning of lobster season, which was an additional, unexpected treat. King, Mike, and Tish were terrific helping us with our dining and drink selections. We signed up for a couple of tours with local guides recommended by Maritsa and Victoria and they were fantastic. Personal (just the two of us), reasonably priced, with attentive, knowledgeable guides who took really good care of us.

Pleasant one night stay at Parrot's Cove.

We enjoyed our stay at Parrot Cove. The rooms was plain and somewhat dated, but the staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was fantastic, including complementary breakfast. The location is quite good as was the service. We can recommend the Parrots Cove.

Great location, food, and friendly staff.

Great location for diving, fishing, snorkeling and access to Jaguar preserve/Jungle activities. Hotel is located steps from a major dive operator. Friendly and helpful staff. Chef Rob (owner) prepared a feast for us using the Snapper we had caught earlier in the day! Ideal base for activities.

Nice place to relax and explore Hopkins and Belize

Small hotel with very great, friendly staff and amazing beach steps from your room. The staff was very attentive and does everything to ensure a great stay. I enjoyed using the bicycles and the kayaks as I explored the area, and then relaxed on the hammocks at the end of the day.

Oceanside view, great food, delightful staff

We stayed at Parrot Cove for a couple of nights and continued to come back for its charming ambiance and great food. The staff was top notch (Maritza was a standout), Chef Rob’s 4 course menu was delicious (and reasonably priced), and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, without being pretentious. We also loved their guides they work with for snorkeling expeditions and would highly recommend Burt!

Beautiful Spot, Wonderful People

The people of Parrot Cove make this a winner. The girl at the front desk set us up with the best snorkeling trip in the history of mankind and constantly kept up with us to find out how we were doing. When we had a problem with our room, they immediately upgraded us for our final 2 nights. The only drawback is, as they know, the roads leading to Parrot Cove. Worst ever and definitely discouraged us from setting out as much as we would have. The resorts will have to get together and at least put down gravel.
