Amazing value hotel in Bucharest

Really great hotel. Room was extremely large and clean with a large selection of TV channels to watch. No kettle or ironing facilities (housekeeping will iron for you, but at an extra charge). Restaurant opening times is a little limited (if you want to eat later than 21:30. Very wide selection of food which was tasty.

Ist business stay at Parliament Hotel

Bed and room was generally comfortable. Furnishings are looking a little tired, Floor was laminated wood and not parfectly clean. Bathroom was very clean but Bath was crazed. Resturant closed at 9pm reception would order a take away at a premium price. Breakfast was adequete. Diner menus were varied and interesting enough butu Basic soups were not available. Wifi Good TV good

Alex from front desk was very nice and helpful every time I stayed there. Other staff was also kind, always with a smile on their face.

It was my pleasure to come back at this hotel. Quiet place. Customer service very good. Be back there any time.

Very professional customer service . Waking distance to old city

Wonderfully adequate

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, service was nice, conditions good, quality well worth the price. Wifi did non work properly, I could connect to the network but no internet most of the time.

Not as nice as the reviews say

When i checked in I was given my room key but when I got to the room, someone was already checked into the room. I went back to the front desk and got another room. It made me worried to leave my stuff in the room if they were to give my room to someone else. Also the whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. I hate when hotels say they have free parking but they only have 10 spots for a 60 room hotel. I luckily got a spot but I was then stuck at the hotel because I knew i would lose my parking spot if I left and there is not much around the hotel. The room was also not very clean.

Close to the city center

Staff is very nice! Food in the reataurant is not very good.

Staff abrupt not friendly. There is a demolition job going on opposite the hotel and will be very dusty for a long time. It is enormous. Too far away for a nice walk as it's against traffic all the way to the old town. They didn't like me paying for extras (tea and water ) with a card as I was out of cash. I don't recommend this hotel.

The hotel was neat and the room I stayed in was modern and spacious, but no tea/coffee facilities in room, and no explanation in room about room survive or even how the phone in room works.

Decent hotel, needs some tweaks.

Clean modern hotel with decent restaurant and breakfast. Lots of school groups who gathered in reception and overwhelmed staff. Door key demagnetized 3 times, no English language news station on tv and laundry overpriced. Good wifi.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful and kind. The rooms are quite big and the location of the hotel is perfect.

Two nights solo.

No iron provided, iron service unavailable when required, (pathetic & a deal breaker). Bathroom floor drain fluid reversal! Bar shut by ten pm. Good clean decor, room had good view & spacious. Breakfast nominal. Staff approachable & English spoken. Would I stay again - of course not, better management required.

Never 4 starts

This was the towel that was in my room when I arrived. Claim, to remind them that communism was over. that will put it in the waste

The hotel is within walking distance from the Parliament building, the staff were friendly and very helpful. There is room for improvement on the comfort level - the only towels that were in the room for us were 1 hand towel per person, the AC was off when we arrived (early September) so it took a while to reach pleasant temperature in the room, and the bed had a sheet, but no blanket. Overall it's an ok experience, but with a little attention to detail it could be much better.

Good stay but more like a 3 star hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. One note ...Their dress code should be addressed ! The room was clean, still the bathroom door was dirty, the cleaning staff should be more attentive to other places than the regular routine. Overall good stay, but this will be a 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Not what I was expecting for a 4 star hotel

The bathroom was dirty and full with rust stains. We had no towels. I will never go back there. I don’t know what gives to this hotel the stars but for sure they are not real. So disappointed!

Close to the city centre and some attractions

The hotel is located in a good position although is not as central as some other accommodation. Hotel staff are friendly. The breakfast buffet is also very nice with plenty of options depending on your dietary preferences. Rooms are private, hotel is generally quiet and relaxed.

Well situated near Parliament building. Services not up to a 4 star hotel. Stayed in better 3 star accommodation. Hotel offers little other than a spacious room. Breakfast is dreadful.

The hotel is modern, but with problems. We had room 813. We found that the shower didn't work. Next day it was fixed. The water doesn't have pressure; taking a shower is a challenge, the water temperature changes. There is a constant humming noise when the card is inserted to activate the power in the room. The Wi-Fi has problems too. I called the front desk and was told that someone goes to the floor and few minutes later I had internet access.

Nice service, big rooms, nice interiors, good for business trips, good WiFi, calm, close to the city center and Izvor metro station. The breakfast could be better, not much choice. Some neglects in bathroom clearness. Overall impression: very good.

2nd trip to Bucharest

Very nice Hotel, 15 mins away from the Old Town. Stayed in a suite, very spacious with very large terrace. Good breakfast. It would have been nice if coffee sachets were in the Suite.

Good hotel, poor shower

Hotel was nice, service was good, staff were friendly. Let down by the worst shower ever! The water flow was very poor. Even worse was that the water kept going from hot to cold by itself. I guess this was when other people were using the hot water at the same time??

Great location, great hotel

My first time in Romania and thanks to this hotel and amazing staff I WILL be coming back. My room had a great view of the Parliament building and a new church being constructed. The hotel was close to Parcul Izvor and great place to run on a paved running trail about 1.5k around. If you are going with children the park had a really cool playground, one of the best I have ever seen. The neighbourhood is safe for a long walk. I had no issues with safety but I did not walk the streets at night. The location is good for taking taxi's around town with the fair about 30 Lei to the airport. Staff here are very friendly people. Willing to help you learn the language and local customs. They will help you if you want to find something to do and have great recommendations. Food for breakfast was good with I felt a lot of selection, some may not feel the same. The restaurant food was also good and you got a lot of food for the value. To sum up my review, I will be back to this hotel sooner than later.

good location, don't get a taxi, nice walk to centre.

Hope you never need any assistance at this hotel -- called the operator/front desk six times over tow days -- never got an answer. Room floor was not vacuumed. Comforter stored in a garbage bag. Didn't feel clean or entirely safe there.

Expedia price and real price differ

Upon arrival there were many hidden fees. They nickel and dime for many amenities that they insinuate are included in the expedia price. even though we booked a child on expedia, they wanted to up charge us a huge amount for a small child.

OK Business Stay

This hotel was decent and I wasn't in the room much. I arrived late (1am) and was quickly helped up to my room. The door to the very large outdoor balcony (a nice touch) had been left open and, while this made the room nice and cool, there were also bugs flying around the room. When I went to breakfast the next day at 930 (it ended at 10), everything that was once on ice was warm and I lifted up the metal buckets to discover the ice completely melted. The yogurt and other items that should be refrigerated were warm to the touch. I made sure to eat earlier the next few days. The water machine in the breakfast area was also nice and I used it to fill up my water bottle before leaving the hotel, only to discover floating debris as soon as I went to take a sip. The room was pretty clean, although I did find a dead spider near my bed, which was there my entire stay. I also called to schedule a wake up call one night for the following morning, after sleeping through my phone alarm the night before. Being paranoid, I set phone alarms on top of having the wake up call. I woke up from my alarm, which was set to go off 30 minutes after the wake up call. I thought maybe I had slept through the wake up call, until my room phone rang 30 mins later (1 hr after my scheduled wake up call) reminding me to get up. Overall, I say this hotel could use some help, but it was near the airport and the price was not bad.

Nice hotel, especially for business travelers

The hotel provides spacious rooms, clean, comfortable with in room adjustable thermostat. The offered breakfast has a good variety of food to get your day going.

I would rate my stay as a top 10, the staff was more than accommodating and very friendly. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is quiet and not far from all of the sites. I will make this my hotel for future visits.

A true 4-star where everything worked out

Parliament Hotel is centrally located although it has no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is new and very clean, staff are friendly and try to please, most staff spoke English well plus some German. Our room was very large and comfortable, good beds, nice breakfast buffet with a bit of change from one day to the next, internet was included im rpice and worked well. Bottom line: no surprises, clean, comfortable, and we certainly recommend it.

Good Hotel

The hotel has a decent breakfast, the facilities are clean and modern. Parking is a little bit hard, since the curb isn't rounded, so you have to diagonally inch in--also you may have to park down the street if there is no room. Amenities are nice. Surrounding area is not bad for downtown Bucharest, can walk to Lipscani if you walk diagonally through the park. Not much else directly around the hotel.

Great stay

Handy location to bus stop and House of Parliament . Very good range of food for breakfast pity the eggs were cold otherwise all great. Had three evening dinners there, and they were very well presented, as well as being tasty and great value for money. Room was large giving us room to spread out

Tiny Bed

Main problem for me was I booked and paid for a queen bed but was given two tiny single beds. When I complained nobody wanted to do anything. No manager to talk to. No discount and as in Romania. No Smile

Stay in Bucuresti

I have stayed here before and again I have to say, one of the best hotels in Bucuresti! The staff is so friendly and they take care of there guests. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view of the Parliament building is lovely! Easily within a few minutes drive to Unirii Shopping center and Vitan Mall is close as well. I definitely recommend this hotel and anytime I come to Bucuresti, I will look to the Hotel Parliament first.

Lovely hotel

I stayed in the hotel for one night before flying on to Cluj from Bucharest. The hotel is great. It's clean, modern, the staff are very helpful: all of what you would expect to find in a modern hotel such as this one. The hotel is situated next to the Parliament building, which means it's a little bit away from the 'old town'. It's best to take a taxi, even though the trip is probably no more than 20 mins by foot. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Great Value for money- definitely a 4 Star hotel -Would return

A very nice hotel. A bit off the beaten track in terms of location as it is near Ceaucescu's Palace but only a 15 Lei taxi ride away from the City centre and Old Town. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and nice service. Would highly recommend.

Simply nice

An excellent hotel - very spacious room, great location, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a relatively small hotel, but it is clean and the service was good. The room was large, quiet and reasonably equipped. It was directly behind the Parliament building and thus within about 1 1/2 - 2 kilometers from Uniri center. The breakfast buffet was not elaborate, but adequate. Overall, for the price, I would recommend it.

Very nice hotel

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. My room was great and very clean. A good breakfast was included with the price. The hotel restaurant was very good, and I would recommend the chocolate pancakes for dessert. The only downside to the hotel is that it isn't near any tourist activities except the Parliament building.

Al nostro arrivo ci spostano in altro albergo perché fingono di avere una fuga di Gas ma in verità avevano dato la mia stanza ad un altra persona,pulizia Pessima ogni due giorni circa cambiavano asciugamani e coperte, colazione orribile basta dire che usavano Nutella del Discount. Non andare al bar dell albergo prezzi da pazzi cappuccino 4 euro. Vergognoso

El hotel no está mal, pero no diría que es un 4*. La ubicación, aunque parece cercana al parlamento, debes dar un gran rodeo hasta llegar a la fachada principal (y más lejos aún de los diferentes puntos de interés de Bucarest). El desayuno sí fue bueno. La zona no es muy recomendable para salir a cenar tras un dia de conocer la ciudad, pues hay muy poco donde elegir "cerca". La habitación correcta, sin más, pero el baño bastante antiguo (no era demasiado agradable). Por el precio qie tiene, creo que habrá mejores opciones.

Vi blev taget imod en ansat der ikke engang kunne vise os hvor vi skulle gå hen da vi skulle have vores værelse. Vores værelse var meget slidt og “gammelt” og en meget lille Queen size seng. Med udsigt lige ud til en støjende vej på 1 etage. En suite vil jeg ikke kalde det. Personalet ved morgenmaden var flinke. Langt fra 4 stjerner synes jeg.

Pur essendo vicino al parlamento è distante dal centro vero e proprio di Bucarest al di là di un parco e di un fiume. Intorno non c'è nulla ,bar ristoranti pub negozi per cui la sera è molto isolato. La colazione è sufficiente ,dolce o salata, ma la varieta non è molta . Il personale è professionale ma distaccato.
