It was ok the curtain on bedroom kept fally down but we just put it back up 😆

The property was good for an overnight stay before flying out of Aukland the next day. The motel is located in a residential area where there is a short walk to stores and restaurants. Although nothing special about the motel itself, we appreciated the easy drive to the airport the following day.

We arrived early and were greeted with a smile and a choice of room. Very clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable.

smelt of cigarette smoke and other smells. we suspect the bathroom floor boards are rotting. bed, sheets and cups were clean and generally ok. no natural light. considering price, would not stay again.

The room smelt very musty There were no adequate mirrors in the unit at all. Just teeny tiny ones that were useless Insufficient hanging area and not enough coat hangers.

I wish I’d never booked this property and wish I had read the reviews first. I was taken in by the word “excellent” for ratings and the lovely bright photos online. It was disappointing in all aspects. Our unit had an awful smell, it felt dirty, the tv did not work (no matter how I tried and I’m savvy in this area), the toilet seat did not fit properly, the curtains did not adequately cover the windows and dragged on the floor, the car park is very tight. The solution for this property is a deep clean top to bottom; it would make a huge difference to guest comfort. I’m wondering if there are new managers here as I notice the recent reviews are negative whilst from a few years ago, they seem quite good.

excellent location, friendly hospital staff. Minor upkeep problems need to be sorted!

Owner didn't speak much English and couldn't understand English. He didn't like me having a candle lit outside in the smoking area and asked me to extinguish it. Then showed me his phone and pointed to what I realized was an outdoor security camera implying that he was watching me. Outside chairs were in bad condition.

Property was handy to what we were there for. Place is slightly run down . Need to put some work into the property. Shower head was awfull. It fell off in the shower.. Cockroaches in the unit. We had to clean out our bags before leaving as 2 fell out of my wifes suitcase!! A random walked into our back unit off the street. Lucky i was there!!!! . Would i stay there again ? ,yes but need to do some wrk on place and wrk on security etc. Said they had skytv. But you had to buy channrls. Miss information

Property Manager was friendly and very helpful

The property was tired and in need of redecoation. The bathroom was not clean. The bed duvet cover had a large brown stain on it.

I would like to think they should put the pillows in the dump and get replacements as they were terrible. There was 3 of us in the unit and none of us could sleep because of the horrible pillows. Otherwise it was good value for money.

Very handy having PaknSave across the road. The manager was friendly and helped me with tuning in my tv.. However he could not understand english which made it hard to communicate. There was a power tool going about 8 in the mornings in close proximity so noisy.

Close to our event. Property requires a lot of R&M.

The room had a awful smell and the room wasn't clean

For an old style motel, it was clean and quiet with easy parking. Staff was friendly and check in and out was simple.

the manager or owner using tge weed mower every morning when people still there and curtains are closed surely this can be done after checkout and people have left and doesnt need doing every morning

There's nothing I didn't like really . Only the Paddock o er the side fence was overgrown . It could with a Higher fence . Not that you can see it with the Blinds closed . I had a Happy stay thankyou

Driveway had pot holes almost damaging rim on car

Fantastic location, Pak N Save with cheap fuel across the road, town centre just down the road. Fabulous hosts who accommodated a late change of plan.

If we hadnt prepaid online (no alternative) would not have stayed. Not clean, tiny tv in kitchen area,sofa uncomfy,unclean.Shower didnt drain properly so water came under shower door. Cockroaches in bathroom, also loose floor tile. Only positive was bed was big and comfy. Overall would not recommend, will not stay again.

Never saw anyone from the management or any staff Property very run down Unit smelt of cigarette smoke but think have been from the unit next door A bin for used toilet paper very off putting

We haven't stayed here for approximately 4 years due to COVID, the place has changed cleanliness wise, I'm guessing the motel was used for people to stay in when they had nowhere else to go during COVID, very run down. Stains on the walls, and carpets were filthy the blinds wouldn't close properly so passers by could see into our room. The cord to close the blinds was fixed with sellotape, the beds were very uncomfortable. Our first night we were woken up by 4 guys drinking right outside our bedroom window and they didn't finally go down until 3am. I was going to go out and ask them nicely to move from outside our room but we had 3 children with us so I didn't want to risk us being in danger. This place must have new owners since our last stay few years back because the overall quality of the place was very run down and we were so un impressed for the price we paid per night was not worth it. We in the future will not come back .......what a shame !!!

Old & tired. Not well maintained or clean.

The staff were great. The room was big and well maintained.

This accommodation was suitable for my two kids and myself. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and I was grateful for my room to be cleaned every morning. The rooms are a bit tired but presentable. Very close to all amenities and very central location.

Within short, walking distance to town centre. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet. Comfy bed, good shower. Customer service friendly. I've stayed here a few times and will do so again.

Just what we needed for a short stay

Comfortable beds

There was a very strong smell of cleaners or perhaps a fragrancy - which was overwhelming. Clean and fresh otherwise. Appreciated the ceiling fan during a very warm humid night.

Close to amenities.

Very handy to town with a flat walk. Walls were very thin and can hear every noise next door, especially loud talking at night and chairs scaping.

Weather Bomb!

Very bad weather, so that did not help. Friendly staff on check-in. Close walking into town. However, room 10 was very tired and only 2 Hangers, plus old soap still in shower. Grounds need work and could be kept much nicer. A basic Motel.

Very unusual layout. Did not like the communal area being directly outside window/door of room. No curtains, only vertical blinds, didn't feel private in room. Noisy guests in communal area all evening made stay unpleasant.

It had Air Con in the room. The area motel is situated is nice and quiet. Close to all shops.

I stayed in the one person 'studio' and though the owners were concerned that it was not what I wanted and that I might have expected more, it was just what I wanted - somewhere to lay my head and sort out my luggage after flying in to Auckland. It is only for one person, and if you are that one person traveling alone, I can recommend it.

The property was a standard motel. The smell of cigarette smoke from outside a couple of rooms was less than pleasant. Amenities were basic but clean.

Our room was at the back of the property which was nice and quiet. It was very clean and well maintained. As the room was quite small there was nowhere provided to place bags on.

Very nice area, well-kept and clean. Our room was spacious and close to a supermarket and their downtown town area. Reception and housekeeping were considerate and very accommodating.

It was an comfortable however they forgot to left an extra tower we were a couple to stay there it was difficult to use only one tower. .. all sorted very quickly so we assume was an human error.

Location is Excellent

A great location, just a few minutes walk to town centre shops and restaurants, plus a major supermarket 100 metres away. On a main road so some early morning traffic noise but it's not disturbing. Good parking, clean and properly serviced room. I had the budget single room, which was small, no view but perfectly located at rear of property, so no noise at all. Perfect for my business trip, basic but included desk, firm bed and suitable kitchenette. WiFi was good, as was lighting, quiet aircon and refrigerator. Only complaint is bathroom handbasin, very cramped and no bench in the budget bathroom for all those essentiala. Other rooms have better bathroom layout according to web pictures. Happy to stay here again.

The best in Pukekohe

We stayed her for 2 nights in March. It is very central to Pukekohe centre (within walking distance) and there is a Pak N Save (large supermarket) just around the corner. There is a king bed in the lounge room and then a separate room with a single bed, the dining table and kitchen. The bathroom comes off the lounge. The room was clean and spacious for what we needed. The hosts and cleaner were very friendly and nice. This is the best on offer in Pukehoke or surrounds. Would stay here next time again.

The Motel was basic but clean accommodation. It had everything we needed for our short stay and was 2 minutes walk to Park n Save supermarket. The man in charge was helpful and friendly. Overall a positive stay.

Okay room. Basic studio is very small. Small kitchenette, everything worked fine. AC, electric heater, TV all worked.
