This was a nice clean location with friendly staff and easy to find. Loved the idea of the pillow menu.

In the heart of the city

We stayed at th hotel only one night when driving through Europe. The hotel was very clean, check in very quick and we had an upgrade to our room. Comfortable beds😊 we will stay here again most probably 😉

It was great. However the A/C was turned off during my stay cuz they stil considered the weather cold! It’s should have been our choice, not theirs.

A Wonderful Hotel

One of the nicet hotels in which I have stayed. The facilities, rooms, and amenities are excellent. Parking is safe and on-site. The hotel is centrally located to most everything in the retail, business, and government district of the city. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay. The breakfast was great and had a great layout. The only issue was the water in shower. Once you got the temperature to the right setting it would jump to scalding hot and then cold and finally back to your temperature.

Clean hotel close to city centre

Clean business hotel. Good breakfast. 80s style interior. Location close to city centre & shops. Still, we didn’t have a feeling like we want to return in the future to the same hotel once more.

They took care of my every need. The breakfast is a must. It is 10 euro a day if you have it put on at checkin.

The hotel is centrally located in the city with a great view of the river and canal. The construction within the property caught us off guard however.

It was stuffy and we didn’t have a way to control the temperature. There was no onsite cafe so we ended up bothering staff to get a coffee mid day. The pool was not a pool...:not sure if that was mis advertised or how I interpreted the facility.

Good hotel, good restaurant, loud A/C

It was VERY difficult to notice where the hotel was on the road when we first arrived, which is actually quite silly because it's massive and very easy to see once you know what you're looking for. The parking was a little tight, even by Germany standards. The area is not too bad, there is a nice river directly behind the hotel that you can walk along and the main street has some nice things to do and see. The restaurant inside is really great, but be warned it's a "little" upscale. Most people inside were in full button down shirts and dress slacks for men and nice dresses for ladies. I didn't prepare so well for that and ate in my shorts and tshirt. The food was very good though. The biggest negative is the air conditioning. If you're familiar with Germany you know air conditioning is very hard to find and even when a hotel advertises that they have it, you usually can't adjust it only turn it on or off. The air conditioning itself worked well but there was a sort of cycle on cycle off noise that occurred at irregular intervals that was, well VERY loud. It kept both my wife and I from sleeping at all that night. Otherwise it's a very fine hotel and I would recommend it.

Providing apples at the reception area is a healthy option for guests. Heating pads were also provided at night upon request. I find the services provided at this hotel was really a world class. I enjoyed my stay here very much.

The Duck’s Nest

I was pleasantly surprised after staying at a disappointing hotel in Munich.(fFlemng’s) The Park offered a good reception, Todd service and the food was of a high standard and delicious! There was a lovely mother duck nesting peacefully on the balcony. She enjoyed your hospitality too! David Horry

A beautiful international standard Hotel in the Heart of the City! Easy to access and in walking distance to the center part of the town! Gourmet kitchen and fantastic breakfast buffet! Indoor parking! The right place to stay for your business venture!

Good business hotel

We stopped here while on our way to Strasbourg and glad we did - we could get a lot more comfortable and cheaper than for hotels in Strasbourg. This hotel has a fantastic breakfast buffet

Convenient, well appointed hotel in the centre of Pforzheim overlooking the canal. Good restaurant but close enough to walk to other restaurants in the town.

Pforzheim hidden GEM...

This hotel is situated 5 mins from the centre and a short walk from bars, restaurants and shops. This hotel is easily a 4 star hotel, rooms were spacious and felt luxurious. Well stocked mini bar, air con and free WiFi. Breakfast was a great choice and the restaurant is really pleasant. You get very well looked after by the staff and they were only too pleased to help. On site parking, good rooms and great food and drink, what more could you ask for.

Lovely place

Wonderful checkin and meal, room was clean and tidy with space to park downstairs. Dinner was a selection of regional favorites with a few international items thrown in. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold foods. Choice of two twins means we had a firm and soft mattress and a “pillow menu” in case the default pillows did not suit you liking.

Location is excellent close to the river, close to shops

Great hotel

Everything at this hotel was great except for the front desk check in lady, Ms. Lampe. She was very arrogant and had a very unwelcome way about her. She definitely did not reflect the high standards and quality of this excellent establishment. The rest of the staff were terrific, food was great, room was great, location was perfect, no problem with the price of the room. We will definitely return to this hotel next year, but do not want to be checked in by Ms. Lampe. Would have been perfect had she not been there.

Nice hotel in a not so nice city

I came to Pforzheim for a business purpose, so I didn't care if the city is beautiful or tourist-friendly. But the hotel was really nice. Their room is clean, it has everything I need. Their restaurant makes very good food, although it was a bit pricy. I really like their staff, they are very friendly. I don't speak perfect German, but I usually try to speak as much German as possible if I'm in Germany or Austria. Their staff was very patient even when I had some problem with my German. I recommend staying in this hotel if you come to Pforzheim.

Breakfast was fabulous. Dinner was just ok, nothing special. My room was a bit of a hike from reception and I could not get the air con to work easily, but overall, the room was comfortable.

SMALL GERMAN CITY, BUT TOP-NOTCH HOTEL

Pforzheim is the jewelry center of Germany, and the ideally-located Park Hotel there is a first-class gem. I had stayed there once before several years ago, and the quality of the rooms and the kind efficiency of the staff remains top-notch. The Park Hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown Pforzheim and adjacent to the convergence of two scenic rivers. It is a rare hotel indeed that gives you the choice of two mattresses---firm or soft----but the Park Hotel does. In every respect, the hotel merits your attention.

Best hotel in a town with weak competition

Best hotel in town (in the face of very weak competition, though). But I had a snag at check-out because they wanted to charge me extra in violation of the hotel.com deal that guaranteed the prepaid rate. I left after 20 minutes because I had a train to catch but the issue was not resolved by that time. I am not sure that they managed to fix it but I definitely expect more of a hotel that uses your services.

No Room for Improvement

Everything was picture perfect -- from the staff at the front desk to the great buffet breakfast, the fine dining and the location on a river in walking distance of the wonderful Pforzheim Schmuck Museum.

Decent hotel with all the right services

Reasonably priced, very clean, recently renovated and in good repair. All the services and facilities that you'd expect from a business hotel and some more. Only problem I had was the fact that, similar to so many other business hotels in Germany, they had two single beds joined up to form one rather than a true double.

Excellent value, family friendly

We pretty much rented the entire hotel with my son's football team for a playoff game. The staff was incredible, the rooms were clean and we wanted for nothing, would stay there again and recommend to all! Great place!

Best Western Sawmill Inn in Heber, Arizona

An Impromptu trip took me to Heber & therefore had to make a last minute reservation. I wasn't sure what kind of a place I was going to be staying in once I got there. I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The location was great just off the main highway. The staff was not only helpful but friendly and truly made me feel welcomed. Both check in and check out was quick. Room was nice. The one I stayed in had two queen size beds along with a refrigerator & microwave. The room was good in size & didn't make you feel cramped. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & if I'm ever in Heber again; I definitely plan on staying here again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEST WESTERN SAWMILL INN!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis paast für einen Ort wie Pforzheim nicht. Ein Preisniveau auf Londonstatus finde ich nicht angemessen,auch wenn das Haus vor Ort wahrscheinlich das Beste ist. Das Frühstück war dagegen für 20€/Person sehr üppig und gut

Enttäuschung beim Check-In

Vorab, mir ist völlig klar, dass die offizielle Check-in Zeit im Parkhotel bei 15:00 liegt. Trotzdem wäre ich froh gewesen, mein Zimmer schon etwas früher belegen zu können, so wie es weltweit üblich ist. Ich übernachte jährlch in etwa 50 verschiedenen Hotels und ein so striktes Beharren auf der Check-in Zeit erlebt man ganz, ganz selten, höchstens noch in den USA. Etwas Flexibilität wäre hier schön gewesen. Ansonsten ist diese große Hotel ok, aber auch nicht mehr ...Ausstattung im internationalen Vergleich gut, aber nicht herausragend. so gibt es z.B. keinen Shampoo und Conditioner im Bad; auch das ist heutzutage Standard.

Zum wiederholten Male habe ich eine sehr angenehme Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Pro: Eines der besten Hotels in Pforzheim (leider auch einfach möglich da keine echten Alternativen). Also ist man immer wieder hier und erfreut sich immer wieder an dem Barkeeper und den guten Weinen. Das Personal ist nett und akkurat. Das Publikum ist ebenso sehr angenehm. Die Einkaufsstraße schnell zu erreichen. Betten soweit gut. Contra: Gebäude, Inneneinrichtung, TV-Anlage langsam nicht mehr den Preisen gerecht, Garage zu eng. Nächtliche Lautstärke im Innenhof jetzt besser als im 1HJ von 2024 aber noch hohes Risiko von Lieferverkehr möglich. Zumindest wird nachts aktuell im Hof nicht mehr telefoniert.

Alles bestens.

Ich durfte eine sehr schöne Nacht in diesem Hotel verbringen. Eine Übernachtung ist hier wirklich ihr Geld wert. Tolles Personal, super Zimmer und auch insgesamt stimmt einfach die ganze Atmosphäre. Ich bin froh, dieses Hotel für mich gefunden zu haben!

Spannende Tage

Es war sehr Angenehm. Freundliche Bedienung im Restaurant.

VIP Vorteil gab es in keiner Form. Ich hatte einen verstopften Abfluss in der Dusche, das Wasser hat teilweise mein Bad überflutet. Der Abfluss im Waschbecken war auch komplett verstopft. Ich habe darauf hingewiesen. Als Antwort kam nur " das tut uns leid, wir werden dem Hausmeister MORGEN Bescheid geben". "Morgen" war aber mein Abreise Tag. Mir wurde weder ein Frühstück angeboten, noch irgendwelche persönlichen Annehmlichkeiten. Es schien das Personal überhaupt nicht zu interessieren.

Showerhead was broken, but there were another alternatives as rainfall-style showerhead. Although I think everything okay because the at the reception, they said they will send their mechanic later.

Dit hotel ligt midden in centrum. Qua ligging om stad te bezoeken prima. Wij waren op doorreis. Parking ligt onderin. Vanuit de ondergrondse parking was het helemaal niet duidelijk waar de ingang/receptie zich bevond. 15 min zoeken later eindelijk receptie gevonden. Ligt aan de zijkant niet zuchtbaar vanop straat.

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel.

Hotel très bien situé proche de la rivière. Ma chambre etait très petite avec porte communiquante d'un autre client. Le bruit traverse très facilement. Super petit déjeuner. Durant mon séjour, je n'ai jamais pu changer ma voiture électrique, le parking réservé etait toujours pris par des voitures essence.

Cet hôtel propose tout le confort nécessaire pour un agréable séjour : les chambres sont de bonnes factures, très bien équipées, le hall, le bar de l'hôtel sont très biens, la possibilité de garer sa voiture au parking de l'hôtel (payant) est un grand plus.

Hinschauen

Zimmer erst ab 16.00h verfügbar gewesen beim Check Inn. Sehr weite Wege zum Zimmer da Hotel recht groß. Sehr hochpreisige Zimmer und Restaurant mehr als überdurchschnittlich teuer. Zimmer direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen, keine schalldichten Fenster, meine zwei Übernachtungen waren einfach kaum auszuhalten und absolut unerholt. Autobahnflair und unerträglicher Lärm die ganze Nacht. Essen ist vom feinsten - Frühstück super auswahlreich und lecker. Auch das Abendessen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Service und Freundlichkeit top. Ich komme nur noch wegen den tollen Seminarräumen und dem Essen falls finanziell machbar. Zimmer laut, hellhörig, Putzteam nicht zu überhören ganz früh, Laut, Rezeption Massenabfertigung aber der ganz ganz tolle Wellnessbereich ist doch sehr stark zu empfehlen!
