The Parker Palm Springs is always a welcome and unique getaway. It's on the expensive side but completely worth it with high quality food, staff and service.
Nicest property I’ve ever stayed at and I travel a lot. Loved the vibe, food, rooms, pools. Can’t wait to go back.
Mid century glamour in the middle of the desert. This hotel is amazing, lots of intagrammable spots, restaurant is great and very well designed rooms.
Great place with amazing restaurants
Such a wonderful hotel. The interior design is fabulous, garden and pools beautiful and staff super friendly. Will be back!
Beautiful hotel! Gorgeous design and wonderful atmosphere. Staff is super professional and helpful. Food was amazing. What can I say , from Valet to general manager everyone was there to make our stay feel unforgettable and we can’t wait to come back Thank you
The front desk and valet were very nice. Liked the cool funky 70s decor in room and nice amenities. Chilled out at the pool with drinks and snacks from Lemonade Stand. Later enjoyed room service for dinner. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful setting and great staff.
Beautiful property, very comfortable room.
Fabulous as always! Decor, service, amenities, restaurants…top notch!
Loved the restaurant and pool! Rooms were a little dark and drab.
Terrible
Great property with excellent amenities. Beware of big hidden charges like $50 for valet and high resort taxes.
Relaxing
Good stay
This was an amazing hotel! Loved walking the grounds and hanging by the pool.
Fabulous staff and so helpful! Food was delicious and Herve, the chef, was outstanding.
Old but very cool vibe and grounds are really cute but don’t count on the customer service.
The decor of the Parker Palm Springs is an eclectic mix of Mid Century Modern, Modern, with Southwest textiles thrown in for fun. Loved it! The grounds are gorgeous as are the swimming pools, spa, and restaurants. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of extra seating. The staff was polite and helpful. We did have a bit of trouble finding our way around the extensive maze of paths, but the grounds are so beautiful that we did not mind retracing our steps. Beautiful hotel!
The hotel is over-rated. I would say they gave us the worse room on the property. Our patio faces trash bins. Didn't even clean our room by the time we came back from being out an afternoon. Since we are just staying for 2 nights, we let that go. For the price, it was highly disappointing. Not worth the money.
Customer service was excellent. Espically check in
The grounds are gorgeous. Variety of outdoor and indoor seating areas. Room was spacious and the decor was outstanding. Upon check-in, our hostess walked us directly to our room.
Great spot to relax, play some tennis, work out, and spend time with close ones.
This was my second time returning to this property; this was our two year anniversary that we were celebrating. As always, the grounds were lovely. The food is a bit pricey, but I like to think that’s what comes with this high end experience. Our negative experience was that we were accused of taking two throw pillows from the hotel room and charged 700 dollars without calling to consult us. Management has still not reached out to us after we disputed and reached out to them about this. The management has shown us how flawed they are in resolving conflict. We also had issues with noise at 6am with what seemed like a mechanical issue that woke us up. Additionally, house keeping kept removing our personal dog bowls from the room and we had to keep calling to track down our property. Strongly reconsider this hotel.
This is a hotel of dreams glamour and character. I loved it. My only one complaint would be that my room smelt badly of damp.
The gardens are beautiful and nice to stroll in. There is no signage so it is easy to get lost in the maze of paths but once you figure it out its very easy. Rooms are very eclectic but fun and comfortable. The food at Norma's for breakfast is excellent. And nice bar area with good wine and drinks. Wonderful staff.
The grounds are gorgeous & the detail are meticulous however the service was not up to par w/ prices of the rooms. Check in/out was choppy and not good. Drinks & food also over-priced. Not all cocktails need to be $18... we had friends go with us and the room they booked vs. received was much smaller than the pictures and the front desk manager did not help a bit which was super disappointing. Bathrooms need update--- they are one notch above a Holiday Inn & again for the prices of rooms I think you should get more. Gardens & spa were amazing.
Vintage Chic, Oasis in Palm Springs which has immense character and exceptional service.
Disappointing sleeping area.. hotel nice
Our room was 80 north. Right up against the service area where all storage and tear down happens. Woken each am by 7:30 to excessively loud chatter amongst employees, banging, furniture moving, gardening, ice and glassware banging around on the only two days I was able to sleep in in the last few years as I have a child at home. When I let the hotel front desk know how disappointed we were, they said, “ oh sorry about that”e spent well over w$1700 in 2 days...
Things have really changed at the Parker. We've been going at least once a year to the Parker since it opened
Car came out of valet with cigarette butts on the front bumper so disgusting and was extremely upset yet knowone cared when I called and complained
Always an amazing time spent on this beautiful property. There is a noticeable increase in service levels. The staff is very professional and welcoming. The managers are very hands on and personable.
Disappointed in the cleanliness
We usually love the Parker but this time found used half empty toiletries in the bathroom as well as a sock under the bed. The property and amenities are lovely however. I’ve stayed in many different rooms and found the standard room to be a bit lacking and dark so upgrade if you can.
A design feast for the eyes. Lots of things to do. However the staff wasn’t friendly and there was an attitude. Worst of all bedbugs! Absolutely disgusting. For the price it’s so surprising their hygiene isn’t up to par. When I decided to call and report it I realized there was no phone in the room. They need to pay attention to the details in the rooms as well as the grounds. Disappointing.
Abject luxury
The best!!!
Everything was perfect. And they're very dog friendly!
Wow! What an amazing experience. The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Will definitely be staying there again! Thank you, Parker PS.
Beautiful unique property, very spacious rooms, fantastic decor. Staff was lovely.
An Oasis in the desert
Honestly the most amazing hotel stay I've ever had! A literal Oasis in the desert! Huge rooms, friendly staff, quiet and relaxing
Grounds were clean and gardening was perfect. Loved the decor throughout and the food was excellent. What I did not like was no microwave, no small refreigerator, and safe was 5 inches from the ground inside our room. Not good for older customers to have to get on their knees to access safe. Our room was located at a pool where the pool was under construction.
The decor was stunning but the property had renovation work going on that closed down one of the two pools and caused a lot of noise and lack of privacy.
Great spot for a couple days of relaxation.
Love that place. Need to go back again soon
Love it. Having a swell time. Hot weather but fabulous people.
Excellent
Wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel in a wonderful city. The hotel is mysterious, hyper design and the gardens perfect. The personal is particularly kind. The food is absolutely excellent. We just make a mistake: we stayed there only one night.
Beautiful Property
Amazing hotel. I was a difficult guest at check in but they were so helpful and even gave us drinks while we waited. Love the indoor pool for those who can’t handle the sun. The spa is very nice and my service was exceptional. The best place to stay in Palm Springs hands down. Thank you Parker for an amazing stay.
Go for the decor, stay for the staff and let an experience like no other wash over you!
Walking through the gardens to your room is so pleasant, we even saw a few bunnies each morning. Mister Parker and counter reformation are both not to be missed! The food was absolutely incredible. We never got to try the spa but we will on our next stay! Let’s just say we will be staying here from here forward :).
This was our first time staying at the Parker. We've heard about it but never felt that spening the money there was worth it, but decided to do so when we could come mid-week in the summer when it's
Go for the cocktails, stay somewhere else.
The hotel was very stylish and well decorated, though starting to look a little shabby around the edges. We had great cocktails and bar snacks from the Mini Bar, though when we asked about the larger bar, it was closed. Most every employee seemed to be training or very new to both the hotel property and hospitality work in general. The worst part, aside from the long wait on arrival, was the toilet in our double room kept running. They came out to repair it once, but on our return to the room (after the Mini Bar) it was not fixed. A call to the desk and an hour later of waiting/2 repair guys and it still wasn't fixed. At 9:30p I finally had to ask for another room (the hotel was low-season fairly empty) as I wasn't willing to deal with yet another repair person and it was loud enough to disturb my sleep. So basically, our evening was spent trying to get a room that functioned and had everything working. On checkout, the desk made no mention of it. The final meh, the valet brought the car, didn't notify us (you had to text to get them to bring it), and we had to load in our own bags and were ready to go but they held the keys like they were waiting for a tip. You do not want to be sitting waiting in a hot car on a 100+ degree day, especially after such a lackluster stay.
The place to stay
Outstanding
Relaxing Retreat
Great hotel and the service was excellent. My only issue was the shower because the water barely flowed and took me much longer to shower. It seems like a waste of water since the water was so fine because it takes longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a Palm Springs retreat.
Wonderful stay at the Parker! The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Happy chic!
Love the vibe and decor of this property! We accidentally booked a double room and the hotel was kind enough to find a king room and switch us. Hotel rooms missed a fridge and espresso machine (we’ve gotten used to this travelling). Restaurants are fantastic. Pool is cute but not large or too special.
I did not like that the tv was very old no Netflix and WiFi was very slow. Every day for some reason the internet was down at 11:30pm
It just feels like paradise. Don’t go if you’re on a budget.
Is it possible to do a six star review. This place was so extra. You technically don’t even need to leave the hotel compound it’s a beautiful tranquil oasis. The restaurants are excellent, pool life is perfect and the rooms and all hotel interiors are design envy. Don’t forget to visit the yacht club (it’s really a spa and sports club). So relaxing and we even did a private yoga class.
You want to be here
Beautiful property with wonderful staff and gorgeous amenities.
Loved it. Lush, verdant garden. Charming staff. Easily the best place in Pam Springs.
A little overrated
This place was okay. We're glad we stayed here for the experience since it's a popular Palm Springs landmark, but it was a little overrated. The decor was underwhelming and the service was okay. It just wasn't worth the price point. The food wasn't great either but good for the convenience if you don't want to leave the property. Our biggest issue was how there was a waitlist for the adult pool, and we went in June which wasn't even their peak season. We put our name and phone number on the waitlist around 2pm, and never heard from them. Every time we checked the pool, it was over crowded, so we ended up at the kid's pool, which wasn't great either. Three of our friends staying there with us that weekend had the same experience, with no luck of any of us getting a call back for the adult pool's waitlist. I'm glad I got to experience this hotel, as it did have some cute moments, but overall I don't plan to go back.
Iconic experience!
Iconic experience! Parker delivers in every way! We will be returning. Thank you for a wonder stay!
Beautiful grounds with chic rooms.
Our stay was amazing! Beautiful grounds with chic rooms. My husband and I spent our mornings playing tennis on the clay courts and afternoons at the pool. The customer service was excellent. My only complaint is the location - a little far from the downtown/uptown area but a perfect resort if you just want to hang on the property. Be sure to grab brunch at Norma’s and tapas from Counter Reformation - good food and vibes. Can’t wait to go back!
While The Parker has a cool vibe thanks to it’s decor, it doesn’t really offer anything else. I was given a room next to the cleaner’s storage area which was loud and prevented me from enjoying the patio. I had to cancel my room service after waiting over an hour and had to call the hotel while sitting at the pool to enquire if anyone was serving at the pool. This was my fourth visit over the years and I’m afraid to say The Parker has simply lost it’s Palm Springs pizzazz.
The layout of the property was quite unique and interesting. The design was too much of one style a and a bit overwhelming .
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at The Parker. It is my favorite hotel of all time. The beauty, the design, the staff always smiling, makes for such a wonderful getaway from LA. Thank you Parker!
Amazing place, clean, inspired filled with art! Gorgeous gardens and pools are salt water
Great management , excellent and competent service, wonderful location amazing weekend getaway !!
ROOM SMALL NOISY STAFF AND MANAGEMENT UNAWARE OF WHAT IS GOING ON
Great service but expected more for price
Bathroom needs to be renovated. Family pool was very small and it was easy to get lost without any signs to show directions to and from room to lobby. No privacy in balcony which was very disappointing. People could just easily come into your room from next door. Service was outstanding and valet servicemen along with the bell desk crew, were very top notch.
Large grounds. Beautiful green gardens. Adult pool with bar service
My bathroom did not workstarying Friday nite .i was told the engineer had gone home .From the time of arrival Friday nite st around Until mid day sat I had interrupted ability to use my bathroom. I was in a suite paying top dollar. From the time of Arrival we had to call for engineers 3 x . I had no choice, do when I asked for help the only solution they could offer was a hotel employee to come to to give me a key to another room. to walk to another room at 2 am and after going to go to bathroom .i was lost because the property is not well lit and in the middle of the night I was wandering around the outside area where my suite is located lost and scared . I called the front desk to send engineer at 7 am. When he arrived at 7:30 he told me it was fixed. At 10 am the toilet overflowed yet again andvinwascforved to run to lobby . The manager has still not rectified the situation to my content. Had I not booked tbroughvtravelivity I would demand they refund me for a day and a half in that exact suite , at a time I choose . I am now requesting they give me a future day and one half in the same level suite at another time. The hotel is a beautiful property and very cool vibe . I have been a guest many times previously over the past 7 or 8 years since it re opened . They need to renovate & get their plumbing up to par. It is ok if your closet is s bit small or your pillows too soft but it is not acceptable not to have a bathroom. This is a 5 star property- ?
My most favorite hotel in the world to date!
AMAZING
👍👏👏👏👍
Loved this place. So picturesque and clean. Will be returning someday
Iconic
It’s iconic. Our stay was a wonderful getaway and an escape from reality for the weekend. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will return.
Location was good and the breakfasts were the highlight of the hotel. Expensive, but outstanding. All the staff were very friendly and Chris, the concierge was very helpful to us weeks before we arrived. The entrance was very unattractive and the hotel seems a bit worn. The style is not what we really like. The grounds were lovely and the room was spacious, but there was no real place for me to do office work, which I needed to do on a couple of the days. The carpeting was a bit worn and showed the seams. We could not open our window to le tin fresh air. The bathroom floor although clean, didn't look so and the shower needs some refurbishment.
Very unique. Quite quiet very attentive Good location Easy to find. Vàllet parking nice
The property is amazing and the staff were great. Our room was quite a bit smaller than previous stays and the air conditioning didn’t work very well so our room was a bit warm.
A great experience from start to finish
The hotel was extremely accommodating to our needs. Wonderful and fun decor throughout. Drinks were made well and the staff was very helpful. I definately recommend this hotel for travelers of all types.
Stylish, but also impractical at times
The Parker certainly wins on style, although at times that style trumps convenience (zero hooks in the main bathroom area to hang/dry towels, for example). You can also tell with some features that this is an old hotel they've revamped, thus you still have low-height shower heads and perhaps the loudest bathroom fan I've ever heard. But the grounds and spa are great and the restaurants are nice (and overpriced, as most hotel restaurants are).
Beautiful maze Resort
- Review by @travelmints Service was good throughout but nothing too special. However, the overall vibe and decor of the place are absolutely splendid. This hotel is worth the $ due to the level of comfort and tranquillity it has. But be aware that advertised price doesn't include meals and tax. I would recommend anyone to visit for not only great pictures but an overall cleansing and calming experience.
Awful baby-moon
Awful experience. Ruined our baby moon. We basically discovered in the middle of a 40 degree night that the heater or toilet weren’t working at all. My 8 month pregnant wife woke up a few times cold trying to crank up the temp, but there was no heat. Due to the toilet problem, you can imagine how uncomfortable it was for her and I had to wake up to a toilet filled with #*%#. It was an awful night for her, really. We called first thing in the morning, and had to follow up one hour later and only then a repairman arrived. He confirmed that the heater and toilet needed additional repairs and suggested we leave the room for a few hours. Later, someone texted me that the problems were fixed and room was ready. I thanked her but asked what they were planning on doing regarding last night. She replied that they have no problem waiving our dinner and breakfast. This equates to less than 25% of the cost of just the room. So I explained that I don’t see why I’d have to pay such so much for a room with no toilet or no heat. They offered to comp the next two mornings breakfast. Which still would not amount to half of the price of the room. I told them this is unacceptable. Their logic was that I should have called them to notify them of the problem once we checked in,which was clearly impossible since we weren’t aware of any problems until the middle of the night. I still have not received my money back for that night. Ridiculous. This is an abbreviated review.
had terrible experience first night with rowdy wedding party and a room close to hotel bar. the staff rectified it, comped the first night and moved our room the 2nd night
Good Restaurant
Over all, very nice hotel . Large comfortable room, very decorated,
Perfect stay at The Parker Palm Springs!
The Parker is beautiful and such an adventure! From the cool lounges and gardens to night swimming in the adult pool, there is so much to do guests can have an incredible stay without leaving the resort! Food was delicious, the indoor and outdoor fire pits were so ambient, and the resort is both cool, hip and elegant all at the same time!
Beautiful stay at the Parker xo
Absolutely beautiful stay, loved every minute!!!
Decor, ambiance, service are all top notch. Very fun hotel.
beautiful, quirky, and fun. It's a little more sceney than our usual vibe, but we had a wonderful weekend, great facials and massages, great meals, and great view, and we didn't want to leave.
great hotel that you want to spend a lot of time at... lots to see and do and for sure a unique place and everything you want from a Palm Springs experience. Staff was great, food and drink at the hotel are good but expensive... My biggest gripe is that for the price and level of the room the bathrooms specifically the shower were dark and felt a bit worn down, showers are kind of dated and small.
Romantic get-away in an unforgettable setting
My husband and I spent a fabulous, romantic weekend at the Parker. The superior service, eclectic and chic decor, and superior restaurant made it just perfect. The hotel and grounds have a very private and super relaxing feel and the service was truly stellar. The spa and gym were also just right. Loved it.
I love the aesthetic and the secluded and elegant feeling of the layout of the property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here- it was beautiful, clean, relaxing and super friendly. We felt welcomed, pampered and spoiled. Can’t think of a better way to spend a mini holiday!
First night they put me my wife and my 5 yrs old in room 2 south building, adjacent to the bar. Noise was unbearable! That room should not be sold, especially to a family with kids! We complained multiple times and asked them to at least close the door between the main building and the corridor. Initially the did it, but later they said that for fire compliance reasons they had to keep it open. They upgraded to a new room the next day, but they should have waived the cost of the first night! Didn't like how the customer service operated.
I know that this hotel can have very "old" rooms...I asked multiple times to give me rooms worth the price I was paying, but it did not happens...I bought two shirts at the SPA, I left the bag in the lounge of the hotel...I came back after 40 minutes...there was the bag, empty...somebody stole the shirts...I asked to talk to the manager...nobody talked to me, or did something about...very disappointing...
The bathroom was terrible and the shower pitiful. Will never stay there again and I travel to Palm Springs a lot.
Bed comfort and sheets were poor. Bathroom fixtures were very old and low pressure (sink, shower, and toilet). AC was noisy and weak. The TV experience left a lot to be desired. No real comfortable spot to just sit and read in the room.
JIMMY CHOO Thieves
JIMMY CHOO Nightmare! GF and I wanted a weekend get-away from OC booked and Stayed Sept 15-17. My GF made the mistake of walking in wearing her prized possession JIMMY CHOO shoes and after they led us down 200 yards of dirt path through 106 degrees heat to our room in the back building, she was horrified and diligently cleaned her shoes and kept them in the cloth “Parker Hotel” bag that was in the room. After checking out a driving the 90-min home we soon realized that the bag with the shoes was left on the bed in the room! – Called the Parker – no sign of them. The security head promised to search the room again and call me back – no call back called next day – they thought maybe mixed into laundry but will check and call me back – no call back I went through about 6 “managers” not calling me back over next few weeks. Unreal – I guess the next step in driving out to file a police report – It the principle of the thing not to mention the several hundred $ cost of the shoes. So upset with these clowns! This WAS a highly recommended hotel…
This has always been one of our favorites and it continues to be that way. While it can be pricey, we have always found it to be a good value when you think about all of the nice amenities available to you.
The scenery. Great place for a getaway and to relax!
Loved it!!
We had such a wonderful time, everything was perfect! It's so stylish and so many great details, the ground are big but it feels really intimate. I hope i can visit again one day. Thank you to everyone at The Parker!
Great hotel! Most staff was so polite and helpful. Some of the staff working the adult pool were less than friendly.
Superb environment and wonderful hotel but our room’s toilet cistern was broken and it took 3 requests for to be repaired effectively. Front desk had to be reminded twice. Despite this comment we will definitely be back.
