The staff at this hotel are the nicest, friendliest, happiest group of employees I’ve ever had the delight to interact with at a hotel in NYC. From the front desk staff to the bartenders and hosts in the restaurant to the two gentlemen who served his porters and doormen – each and every one of them was warm, enthusiastic, outgoing, and genuine. On top of the great location and the comfortable and clean environment, I will absolutely stay here again.
Front desk staff francesca was very polite and gave good recommendations.
Great staff and very walkable to train and dining. Quiet part of the city.

My overall stay at park south was okay. The staff was great and willing to help out wherever they could - offering dining suggestions and reasonable accommodations. Shout out Francesca, Yaya, Pedro & Justin. That said, the property/rooms and parking could have been better. Parking at this hotel does not include in-and-out privileges, meaning you pay the valet parking fee each time your car is parked. Parking is $67 for sedans, $77 for SUV’s - not cheap. There seemed to be a number of guests that had issues with the furnace units in the rooms, including one of the rooms in our reservation. They were not working and only blew out cold air. The temperature was in the teens & twenties during our stay, so not having heat wasn’t an option. Otherwise, everything was lodging as normal in a hotel in NYC.
We stayed here as a family of four and loved it.
Excellent choice! Would stay again and again. Staff went above and beyond. Room was very nice and very clean. Beautiful interior. Stayed with my daughter and mom. Great place!
We enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, staff was great. The room was small, but it is NY..
Great location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with a glass of wine from the bar. The room was a good size for NYC and clean and comfortable. Will definitely consider staying there again.
Nice hotel
Staff was excellent. Valet parking was nice. Room was clean
Small, clean, quiet hotel in an excellent location. The staff is attentive and welcoming, truly exceptional! Perfect location for either midtown or downtown. I will be back…
staff was super friendly, good location, not quite so busy in that part of town
Great staff
property is very close to my son's apartment. the staff is courteous and attentive every time we have stayed. The room was very comfortable as well. We will definitely continue to stay here when we visit our family.
Great location, very accommodating staff, nice little cocktail at day's end in the lobby. Very good value for the price.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk gave great advice on transportation and the door man arranged a private car service to the airport. Area was walkable with lots of dining option including an amazing Bagels and Schmear two doors door. Roof top bar (seasonal) was wonderful. Room was clean and spacious (for NYC). Subway for 4,5,6 train was 100 yards from front door. Would definitely stay here again
We arrived late in the evening. It was a strange check in as the person at the desk thought we were another guest and promised up an upgrade with a great room. Then learned who I was and seemed to have lots of standard rooms available. I’d try a different hotel nearby next time for the price of the room. It was very small.
Staff were great in accommodating us checking in early
The Hyatt on 28th Street is very pleasant and a nice respite from the hubbub of the city. Our room was clean and modern. The staff was polite and helpfull. And the lobby was quiet adult atmosphere to read and relax. There is a very nice restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop bistro, open seasonally. Anyway. The place is expensive for country bumpkins like us, but we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the whole experience.
I was surprised there wasn’t a couple of waters in the room. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
Highly recommend
Nice place
Nice hotel in a great location. Only small complaint is the door to the room let a huge amount of sound in from the hallway. We were woken up by people leaving their room early in the morning and talking, etc. comfortable bed and room.
This hotel was very convenient for us and the various activities and meetings we had in nyc. The hotel staff was fantastic. The room was a very good size and the shower was nice. It also was quiet because luckily we were on the backside of the hotel. Would stay again.
Solid stay
Room served the stay but hair on bed and no lock on bathroom.
Great time, very clean and building was super nice. Staff was super friendly and even opened all uber doors. Let us check in 3 hours early. Overall great
The location was perfect. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast at the hotel's Sweetbriar was also light but good and staff very friendly Rooms and bath are are the small size but comfortable and quiet.
Good
It was nice , not as expected from pictures and reviews
Great size room. Staff were attentive and the rooftop bar was wonderful and not too busy earlier in the evening. Great place to stay!
Great service, staff was very friendly, room is NY sized but clean and has everything. The AC was not cooling a lot until morning. Great doorman and receptionist.
Beautiful hotel. Very attentive and professional staff.
The hotel is in a great location and close to many things to make your stay comfortable and fun! The Staff were super welcoming, attentive and knowledgable. The recommended dining options and places to hang out. The roof top bar has amazing views and is a gem!
The property is nicely located and quiet. Front desk staff and bellman staff were wonderful. Room was very small and not easy to access because of unavoidable stairs leading to the room. Skip the breakfast, it's definitely not worth the cost. Overall, cost for the stay was high.
Clean room, great staff.
Nice stay… Hotel staff not as accommodating as would liked
Park South Hotel was excellent! Front desk staff and front door staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Great location to get around NY and perfect for families. We were extremely satisfied with our stay, we would not hesitate to book this hotel again!
One night in New York
Good place to stay. Rooftop restaurant was pretty nice and rooms are in great shape.
!!
Not a bad option
Above all, the staff was incredibly helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel had so many coffee options directly adjacent to the facility.
I don’t usually share reviews like this but this time it’s worth it. This hotel is great. The staff was wonderful. Nice restaurant and a really, really decent kind of “grab’n go” breakfast - I say that in a good way since they prepare you some stuff and I recommend the BEC croissant. Comfortable and clean room. I will say again, the staff and service is what will bring me again to this location. Last note, learn how to use the subway and ignore the location not being more central. The closest station is basically in the same block.
The general manager, John Loizos really helped us out big time ! When I say we were treated like family that is an understatement. We got stuck in New York for two nights due to the Microsoft outage. It seemed like every hotel in New York was booked. John helped us immediately with a very nice room. It was spacious and very clean. As soon as we arrived in our Uber we were greeted with an employee to help us with our luggage. So much hospitality. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.
Stayed here for a quick weekend trip. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were all very accommodating. Easy walking to area restaurants and easy access to the subway.
Very helpful staff.
Good stay and location. Friendly and helpful staff. View from the Rooftop Bar is DOPE! Bryant Park is close
We enjoyed another stay at Park South. Comfortable, clean and friendly staff.
Fine, but watch out for junk fees
Hotel was great, location is good, the people working there were very friendly. The issue is that I booked on hotels.com and didn’t notice the fine print (they try to hide it) about a $30 a night “destination fee”. Only learned about it when checking out and they said “well, water is included”. Would have been nice to know that before leaving. Junk fees should be illegal. Advertised prices should be transparent.
Staff welcoming. Rooms well appointed, quiet and clean.
Excellant service! Friendly and respectful staff.Clean and comfortable rooms.
Very friendly, great cocktail hour, loved the train 1/2 block away and excellent bagel shop next door. Will definitely stay here again.
Loved our stay!
Property is dated and the small recent improvements feel cheep. My booking was last minute and I paid triple what an average room should cost be here, which turned out to be very disappointing. Doorman and front desk staff were wonderful!
Location and rooftop bar/tapas with excellent view!!!
Wonderful experience here. Staff is superb. Bagels and Schmeer was next door for a breakfast delight each morning.
Great place to stay!
This is the third time that I have stayed at ParkSouth Hotel and it is great! I love the location. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The restaurant has great food and the roof top not only has a great view but the drinks are amazing!! Anytime I come to NYC this will be my go to hotel to stay at!
Small but clean helpful staff and friendly
Great
Wouldn’t stay anywhere else, great hotel/location/room and very friendly staff
Repeat customer. Gem in the heart of Manhattan
The hotel is great. The surrounding area, while great, is a little sus. A lot of homeless folks.
The hotel looks small but the room size is very decent. The staffs were all very nice and helpful, the location was very convenient ,the only downside is the Air Condition was very loud, woke us up couple of time during the night, other than that, everything work well. Definitely will return back.
Great stay
A very friendly, clean and comfortable hotel. Nice roof bar and great location
Loved the property! The staff was amazing! The dining options were fantastic!
Lovely hotel
Absolutely love this boutique hotel!!! The service, the dining options, and the condition of the room are EXCELLENT!!!! This is my new favorite hotel in NYC!!!!
A great time: Just what I expected
All went according to plan. Easy to check in and out (generous 12noon checkout) and no street noise.
We weren’t told until checkout that coffee was available each morning. Other than that, everything was great!
Very clean
Had a quick stay before surgery. Would stay again for pleasure
Friendly staff, quiet room
Wonderful staff and the beds were very comfortable. Park South is in a good location if you want near Murray Hill/Kips Bay Area. We will definitely stay again.
Pretty comfy.
Was great for the money.
Nice to hotel. Location was close to the subway so getting around was easy. Quiet at night
I stay at this quaint hotel every time I visit NYC.
Great hotel in central location
The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Perfect location. Have stayed here several times and will do again. Staff are super friendly.
It was a great stay. Will definitely go back again when I visit NY again.
The Hotel was excellent in term of service, location and room quality. The restaurant and lounges were very inviting and offered a perfect balance for a relaxing weekend.
Good hotel
Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent bar and restaurant. Accommodation clean handy for sightseeing.
I have stayed in dozens of hotels in NYC. The Park South was one of the nicest hotels. The rooms were big and well appointed. Everything was clean. The staff was attentive and location was awesome. I highly recommend.
Friendly staff and pleasant room in a great Kipps Bay location.
Our go-to property when we visit the city!
Great NYC a hotel. Highly recommend and nice restaurant/bar in back.

Great staff
Rooms are smaller than pictures make them look, but it's NYC, so no reason to hang out in the room!
Great location, staff and property!
Very pleasant staff, happy to assist
Very clean room and all areas of hotel. Good space and location.
Well appointed Hotel
We stayed at Park South on the recommendation of friends and were not disappointed. The Hotel was clean, the room a good size and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is in an ideal location for either Uptown or Downtown NY with the subway nearby serving both directions, although many attractions or places of interest are within walking distance. Highly recommended and would certainly stay there again based upon our experience.
Loved this hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights. We camd back after a long day out and was pleasantly surprised that our room had been cleaned. Didn't know horels did that anymore...very nice! Robes were provided in the room which was a nice touch. Also, loved the towel warmer, chandelier in the room, and shower was great. All staff and especially all the bellmen were friendly and so helpful! Will for sure stay here again. Thanks Park South!
Property was great, staff was wonderful. Room was a fine size based on NYC standards. Only complaint was the noise. Not only could you hear everyone around you in the hotel, you could hear everything that was going on in the street below.
Customer service was excellent and friendly and helpful Food was delicious and nutritious. Hotel is amazing
The customer service was exceptional. The lobby and restaurant were beautiful. The bathroom in the room was a bit dated, but otherwise everything was wonderful. Great location.
Not-so-hidden gem that exceeded expectations
A great experience from start to finish. Our check-in was seamless and included 2 free drink tickets at the bar (more on this later). The room was clean and modern, and included coffee maker (a must). The shower included overhead rain and standard showerhead...also nice! Next to the hotel is Bagels and Schmear which was a great breakfast spot though the hotel has complimentary coffee at the back bar in the morning.
Super cute, boutique like hotel. Hotel was very clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly. We walked everywhere.
We didn't care for the attached restaurant. It wasn't very kid friendly. Server was snooty when asked for items to be made kid friendly. Food was super salty. Pizza was soggy, not NY style. Front desk and door staff were awesome! Very attentive and friendly.
Nice, clean, modern. Overall a nice hotel
