Great
Only stepping onto the street in Sydney city was the usual rubbish not collected, and sadly, the homeless, and that was all OUTSIDE Park Regis, inside was shiny and clean over the 5 days I was there.... well done
The staff were very friendly and professional. Answered all our questions.
3 days in Sydney
Staff are friendly and accommodating. Hotel location is very convenient to most attractions, transport and city tour meeting place.
The staff were very friendly and professional. It is in a great location. 3 minutes from Town Hall station and a minute straight into Pitt Street.
Great location for getting around Sydney
Good weekend away
We enjoyed our weekend away at Park Regis City Centre in Sydney. The hotel is located a very short walk away from Sydney shopping centres, public transport, restaurants and attractions. The staff at the hotel were friendly. We could hear our neighbours talking in the rooms next door. Overall we would stay at Park Regis City Centre next time we have a weekend away in Sydney.
No problems withy the property it self. It was good.
2025
Perfect for us. They let us store luggage there too. Great place.
I hardly slept due to street and nighttime construction noise. For that price, I am very disappointed.
Carpet needs to be replaced throughout hotel & the bathrooms need renovating
Good place
this is my second time staying here, i love how central it is, walking distance from everything you need, shops, light rail, train station is across the road. There is some kind of construction/works happening across the road and this goes all throughout the night, this is at no fault of the hotel but something to take into consideration as the power tools kept me awake numerous times throughout the night.
Property is in a very busy area at Town Hall. It is very convenient to local as well as airport transportation. It is also very walkable. The staff was helpful and friendly. I tried to use the rooftop pool but unfortunately, the day was windy and rainy. But, the view was great and the area was clean. Our "standard room" was spacious and clean. The bathroom was as well, except for the shower, which was a tiny, curtained area. The AC worked well and we could open windows. They were willing to hold our bags upon check out, so we were able to take one last lunch cruise before leaving the city. At the time of our booking, it was one of the lesser priced properties making it a good value for us.
This is not a 4 star hotel.
Disappointing noisy stay
Disappointing stay for 1 night pre cruise Location close to train metro and light rail Roadworks started at night and very difficult to get any sleep - no notification prior or at check in this was happening otherwise would never stayed there Bathroom extremely small with shower only having a shower curtain around so floor very wet.
Bathroom is small and doesn’t even has fan Aircon is very noisey and not accurate temperature No windows to open
Convenient location, friendly staff. Room was clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay. Lifts were a little slow.
Very happy with our stay
The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the good airconditioning and Foxtel. The rooftop area had great views and the pool was nice.
Great location Great accommodations Really enjoyed it
It was okay situated. Bathroom was very small but clean. Staff were helpful .
Awesome Location
Excellent place to stay on a budget best location for City Centre
Clean comfortable hotel
Hotel was clean, beds very comfortable and would recommend this hotel.
Good location
Excellent
Good for a night and in need of rest. For a longer stay- I would reconsider as- I was given a room with a tiny shower room - no elbow room. The sink tap makes a disturbing noise when in use.
Nice stay in CBD. Rooms are comfortable and property has parking available.
close to everything
I asked for parking but I never heard back and didn’t receive parking so we had to run around Sydney trying to find parking. The shower is terrible and the lifts take about 15 minutes to rock up.
House staff were very friendly and helpful. It's an older property and room was basic but quite adequate as a base when in Sydney. Central location with plenty of food and shopping options close by.
.
right in the city and next to transport and easy walking
Not very clean
Very convenient to everything and amenities! Clean and friendly and price!!!!!
All quite good..
I could have a good time
It is located right in the centre of Sydney
.
Best location right near everything, perfect for city stay- nice being so close to Hyde park
It was nice to stay right in the city
We chose this property based on price and location. However, the rooms need an update, with the curtains not being long enough to cover the windows and the duvet being poorly washed with all the stuffing in balls inside the pockets. Furthermore, the WiFi was terrible; it constantly cut out (approximately every 30 mins) and only worked in half of our room.
An older hotel with a wonderful staff
My room was very old. Carpet seemed to be smelly. It was noisy, i could hear all night long the elevator. Aircon needs to be cleaned. Some things were dusty. In general it needs a renovation. Staff was really nice. Overall price does not fit.
Was basically a slightly higher value than a motel, but lower than a hotel
Good central location. Clean room. Helpful staff.
Property is very convenient to all facilities Bathroom is a bit tight I’d lose the 70’s/80’s shower curtain, toilet is squashy
Poor internet service
The TV was not connected took 2 technicians almost an hour to fix The lift was very noisy could hear it running all night
We drove around for 1 & 1/2 hours, trying to access parking, while trying to call the motel for help (6 times), but they did not answer on any numbers listed and did not answer using the online message service. When we finally accessed the parking, we were rudely told that it was full for the day & we should've come earlier! We then asked to enter the carpark to turn around rather than reverse onto a very busy street and sternly told no! We parked 3 blocks away - I'm a stroke survivor and had to walk and carry luggage, with the support of my pregnant daughter. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and helped with our booking as we had been placed into a room that was not suitable for our needs (despite contacting the motel a week prior to advise - he could see the request) There were stairs and a very narrow hallway to get to the lifts which I managed but it is absolutely not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, elderly or otherwise physically disadvantaged. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Very small shower and very limited hot water. Winds whistle through the window all night. Construction, including jackhammers run all night on adjoining properties and whilst I understand this is outside of the control of the motel, had I've known, I could've made an informed decision whether to stay there or not.
Ergonomics of the shower in the bathroom was very poor
Horrible
The room was so loud between being right outside the elevator, no acoustic rating to anything in the hallway so heard every door shut, the traffic, the metro, could hear the rattling of next doors plumbing and could hear the adjoining tv. I managed to get less than 1 hour sleep. The shower had instructions on how to use and was very temperamental. I’ve stayed at Park Regis twice, once in Brisbane and now in Sydney. I won’t be staying again
Very old Hotel, needs a makeover
Fantastic place to stay. Amazing views from the rooftop. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to everything. Transport options at the front door. Totally recommend 💯 😊
The location is convenient with easy access to publictransportation, department stores, restaurants and groceries stores etc. In addition to the above qualities, the friendly and exceptional hotel staffs are a A plus plus services. I would definitely recommend Park Regis hotel to ALL my relatives and friends. As to myself, I would surely come to stay here again at my next trip to Sydney, Australia!
Free internet should not be password-less wifi in the current day and age
Worth staying there
Cozy beds, great shower and awesome service. It's a shame the chiller in the bar fridge doesn't work - it melted our ice cream lol. But all in all, I would love to stay there again.
My usual go to when staying in Sydney. Very helpful staff and meticulously kept rooms.
Property is decent at a reasonable cost and is also located at the perfect spot. Train stations and shopping centers are close by.
Roof top views 👌
Poorly maintained place, wouldn't recommend it for the price they charge, you will find a better hotel in the area for that.
Above average
Rooms I would say are above average for the price you pay
The place is an absolute hole - it hasn't been redone in years. It's old, the elevators are clunky, the paint is old, the bathrooms are clunky, the a/c makes a ton of noise. There's constant construction which keeps you up all night (literally till 2am) - which should have been highlighted when we booked. There was a leak in the bathroom that was so bad it leaked through the wall into the bedroom!
Convenient central city location, the road works outside were as noisy as to be expected, the windows in the bathroom let in a lot of that noise which was unfortunate.
Rooms are very small Utilities are not up to standard for 2024
Needs work done on the rooms
Excellent and friendly staff. Great central location. Rooms decent size and hotel presented well
Very long wait for lift access.
They gave me an accessible room :)
Stubbed toe going into bathroom Room quite noisy
Convenience and clean The aircon unit constant buzzing sound when on. The staff are polite and friendly
Park Regis is great location. Value for money My pick when staying in Sydney
Lovely front desk staff. Accommodated our request for early check in. I had higher expectations from the pictures but in reality the hotel is quite dated looking on the inside, the room was quite small especially for the price, and bathroom facilities had no bath and vanity had no drawers or cabinets. The hotel also does not provide a breakfast option. Has a motel feel overall. I still haven’t been refunded my $100 bond. If you want a no frills affordable stay in Sydney CBD this will do.
Central location, opposite new Gadigal Metro Station, close to shops, restaurants and theatre district via nearby Light Rail.
Beds were comfy, great location
So convenient for transport on light rail, buses and the metro. Also within walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff, very polite and accommodating. Thank you Park Regis for a great few days in the city.
Great location, convenient access to public transport just steps away from the hotel, great shopping and dining options around. Located in the very happening part of the Sydney CBD so don’t expect quietness. Rooms are quite small and the bathrooms smaller. It’s an old building renovated so don’t expect super exciting interiors. Treat this as a nice and clean sleeping pad. Friendly staff and always kept my room super ready to welcome after a long day. Highly recommended.
Very convenient location. Staff very friendly. Comfortable rooms.
The showers were either scalding hot or freezing cold. After 30 mins of trying to adjust and changing overall pressure and temperature we chose not to shower. Instead showering at the virgin lounge.... very poor for such a basic feature, simply unusable.
Good location. Nice and clean.
Downtown Sydney location convenient to many places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff. Property is an older construction but has been renovated/updated. Really enjoyed stay at the hotel.
Noisy.
Clean, comfortable, location tops , affordable
Friendly staff. Problems with air conditioner but they fixed that for us.
All good
Clealines,
Very old and dated. The lift system was confusing as they had permanent residents in the building also. Bathroom was way too small with a toilet right next to the door and the shower was a tiny corner with a shower curtain.
Stayed for two nights during a conference however could not sleep due to the loud noise from the lift system, building works going on outside and the fact that the curtains were too small for the window meaning street light as coming into the bedroom. My colleagues also had the same issue in different rooms.
Cheap and clean but noisy. Rooms near the lifts will hear the creaking of the lift doors opening and closing. But very well located and helpful staff.
Clean and tidy. Bathroom could used an update.
Associate at front desk could have been more approachable, I was given a room next to the noisy lift so I when I complained I got a room upgrade which I was happy with. The carpets are outdated. If the hotel gets a new lift installed and upgrades the carpet I will happily stay again. For now I will avoid in future.
Perfect spot
Great view. Helpful staff. Great location. The Vietnamese coffee shop next door is wonderful.
The staff could not find my Wotif booking. It took quite a bit of back and forth for them to find my booking. Upon checkout they mentioned they had not received payment from Wotif, I told them they were to take it up with Wotif as I had paid through the app so it wasn't my responsibility.
Unpretentious but location in centre of CBD shopping & dining area is great for price
Nothing further
I like a good shower and I rate my hotel experiences via the quality of its shower. In this case the shower was terrible, you would just get the temperature right and the hot water would go off
Cold wind entered through a window.
Window seals are totally spoilt because of ageing. As a result cold winter winds seeped through. Cold at night.
Value for money. Super location.
Staff were polite and helpful. The safe was not locking and they attended to it very quickly. My room was great, had everything I required, big windows giving lots of daylight. The hum of the lift might keep a light sleeper awake but by 10pm it had fewer trips. I did not lose sleep over it. I would stay here again, thank you.
