The hotel is not near the city , the room that they gave me was in a older par5 of the hotel , the rooms are very small the carpets in the room are old , and dirty , breakfast was nice , pool and gym are nice , staff was ok no one tried to be helpful, not worth the money rooms are worn out ,
Great breakfast, but facilities let down by detail
The hotel is split across two wings. The Marina Wing, where we stayed, was very nice, but could only be access by a steep flight of stairs, so great fun carrying luggage up and down. A lift might help! And gven that it rained throughout our stay, we got wet each morning whilst crossing to the main building for breakfast. The restaurant only opened between 1900 and 2100, and no menu's were available. We ate elsewhere. Such a great property, with quality staff, amd an absolutely superb range and quality of breakfast. But let down by poor infrastructure and dining options.
Great amenities. Too bad we couldn’t enjoy them because of the weather.
Big hotel , very good breakfast. Mattress softer , ac worked well. We had a partial marina view room. Hotel was ok but parking required climbing the hill, access was blocky a chain which we didn’t see that it has a button to push and lower it so that you could unload luggage We had a massage but the girls doing it are rather lacking the necessary strength. Not the most charming hotel but for 2 nights was ok.
Katya and Marko (front desk) were very good. Helpful, friendly. It's a great hotel with lots to do nearby. In places, it looked tired and could do with TLC (some bed/loungers felt tired). Fantastic breakfasts and attentive staff.
We loved everything about this place Clean_beautiful_the food is amazing-staff and service very good
The staff was incredibly amiable, always welcoming and ready to assist. The half-board option was excellent, offering various delicious choices that catered to different tastes, making every meal a pleasure. My room was very clean and well maintained, with a beautiful sea view that added a serene and relaxing touch to my stay. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful combination of friendly service, great food, and a comfortable, picturesque environment, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.
Very pleasant stay. Good buffet breakfast and dinner.
Good experience
The Views were Beautiful. Close to Everything
Location
Great location to access all the surrounding swimming in the sea. Hotel and pool are nice but a bit dated. Lovely breakfast and staff. Big indoor pool and decent gym. Rooms are clean with A/C but a little out dated. Overall a lovely hotel for the price and would recommend for a short stay in and around Pula. Restaurant by the water is divine and superb waiting staff 5 star!
Nice place
The hotel is huge and nice. The room carpets are old and soiled in some places (permanently ). The patio was ok…. Easy pull up and parking included was great. Nice walk to restaurant
Exactly what you expect from 4 star hotel
Everything in this hotel was good and exactly what you expect from 4 star hotel. Staff was friendly, good breakfast and pretty clean rooms.
Highly recommend
We checked in late for only one night after having to dump our other horrid hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating with everything and the room was awesome! Will definitely be booking here if ever in Pula again.
Over and above service
We booked last minute into this hotel and we were so lucky to get a room. They were very accommodating at our late booking and the rooms were great. We had to leave early the next morning, they booked a taxi for us and made a bag lunch breakfast
Third time at this hotel staff etc fantastic but sadly 2 nights running large areas of the bar were sectioned off for “private” parties, when hotel guest seating was already at a premium. Raised this Dean Manager at time and he seemed to say hard luck to guests. So sad when everything else was wonderful but paying hotel guests were second class to conference stayers it would seem🙁
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is not close to the Center of Pula, but it is an easy bus trip or Uber ride to town. Beautiful walkways that go for a very long distance to other areas. Great buffet breakfast and lovely views.
Parking was difficult to find. Noisy from evening band in the courtyard went on too late into the night.
Beautiful views
It’s nice . Trust me , you’ll dig it. If there’s a hit on this hotel it’s that it might be a little too far left on the Verudela peninsula but its more private than the the other hotels here. The Brioni hotel is nice and newly remodeled but it’s right next to the busiest beach around. The park plaza is also a great location but a little crowded. Either way your on the best beach in Croatia !!
The complex is starting to look and feel a little tired. It's also quite a distance from anywhere nice
Mike’s Rating
The hotel and hotel staff were excellent and friendly. The hotel is very clean!!
Excellent
Would stay there again! Great breakfast and friendly staff. Beautiful place!
Nice older property still in good shape. Excellent food. Sea water pool. Front door access customer service needs more attention.
The balcony was very nicely designed for coolness and privacy. The chained entry for loading and unloading was annoying.
An amazing location and amazing country! Weather is always fantastic, and the water is so crisp and refreshing in the Adriatic Sea!! This hotel is on a peninsula with so much to do, or just relax next to the largest marina I’ve ever seen.
this is a nice property. the staff and services were nice. but for the price, i need more than buffet only breakfast and dinner. if you like buffets this is nice. i was on the 3 floor above the entrance, which was very noisy, very early in the morning. i would have payed more for the ocean side away from the entrance.
We were not situated in the main buidling where the pool is. My kids were walking around with wet hair (end October) to get to the room. This should have been stated somewhere and price discounted.
Good hotel in just about all respects. Only negatives were the presence of the public in the grounds/shore area, lack of parking availability and lack of management of non hotel guests using pool area.
Location and beach restaurant ideal for enjoying beach time.
Everything about this hotel was excellent, from efficient check in process to the location, the feel of the hotel and surrounding grounds to the room. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable (we had a premium room) breakfast bar was amazing and offered multiple choices for all dietary groups. We didn’t use the pool but used areas around the hotel to swim in Adriatic. Location is secluded, very relaxing and peaceful however a solid 15min drive from Pula, cab ride to Pula was not that affordable (150 Kuna each way) so plan accordingly for that. We are planning to come back next time we are in Pula.
Best Park Plaza experience
Amazing hotel & facilities with very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go back
Amazing Hotel
Amazing hotel and staff where excellent, so much space on the complex so you can find a nice secluded spot if needed. Food was of a high standard and I really could not fault it and would definitely return.
Restaurante was wonderful Food excellent
While the staff was quite decent, the guests of the hotel appear to be a noisy, and rather inconsiderate crowd. I am not going to use much heavier words, of which I was tempted.
Should you...
The Hotel is great, although we found that 1 of the beds was not comfortable. Most of the people there were nice, except a couple of them in the SPA always mentioning about 1 hour max stay policy, And to mention as well that the wet room is permanently switched off. ( Not due to Covid-19 restrictions, as other similar hotels have it on) But would you want to hear about timing if you are to go for a SPA to relax?!?! Breakfast and dinner, are ok, but far from being as good as similar hotels nearby.
We stayed in the property in 2019 before the pandemic and came back as soon as we could travel again. The hotel is lovely inside and the marina wing looks good outside. However the main building could do with a tidy up on the exterior. The paint is faded and dated and the concrete needs repair in places. That is the only thing I could say negative as everything else was just as we remember it, amazing and we will be coming back in the new year. Thanks for a lovely holiday. Shaun and Hayley Jones.
The parking at the property is a nightmare if you come later in the day. They have paid parking for 5 Euros per night, but I wasn’t told about it till we left.
Pricey but good
Pricier than expected but the staff and the facilities reflected it. Good property close to some nice beaches.
So-so
It’s okay because receptionists did not explain the facility. Foods are good. Cleaners are not good.
Excellent staff, great room, well planned
The check-in took less than two minutes because I paid it all through Hotels.com. They knew exactly what to do and I was handed my key card. The maid was extremely nice and friendly. Definitely knew how to do her job. Room was simple, but worth it. Air-conditioning really came in handy along with heated drying rack and the luxurious shower with 6 extra nozzles. TV connects to your phone so you can use YouTube/Chromecast very easily. Balcony had a very nice view. Breakfasts were included so I went there a few times (slept in some days because the beds were too nice) and it's definitely worth it. There's something for everyone, even vegetarian options. Lots of bread options too. The waiters are very observant and trying to make the tables accessible as fast as they can. Beaches are very close, although I highly recommend you invest in some sandals or swimming shoes since rocks are Lego like. Get there at 9 am and you can almost pick the best spots. Also, I'd recommend you go for the beaches protected from the sea so the waves arent too much and if you got swimming goggles, you'll see some fish too. Beaches have courses, canoes, pedal boats (pay separately). Check in has someone at the desk at all times so even at night you can go and ask the same stuff avoiding most of the rush hours. Ask about the money exchange, so you don't fall into the atm traps. Verudela has a simple market for consumables. Perfect hotel for just about anything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
This hotel need a serious renovation !!! Not so clean and the outside is really dirty
Amazing staff and crew
Y
PERFECT
EXELENT, EVERYTHING JUST PERFECT
best breakfast buffet ever
Amazing hotel and fantastic buffet. Good location and friendly staff.
We felt very comfortable and relaxed at this resort, staff were friendly and helpful...we would definitely come back and also recommend to others.
Pleasantly surprised by the location, facilities and breakfast
Beautiful room. Enjoyable ambiance of hotel. Good location. Beautiful area and views.
Great views and amenities. Very friendly staff and kid friendly.
fine. Spoilt by no seating plan for meals and would not have booked if realised does all inclusive as well
Lovely hotel unless you want to take a baby with you. The staff were nice with our baby daughter but we never expected to have to
I loved the location of the resort. It was very peaceful and away from the city of Pula but with easy access to the city via the city bus. The staff were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with many options. I had dinner at the resort twice and it was good but I thought the breakfast was better. I loved all the lounge chairs under the trees so you are able to get away from the sun but the sea was just a minutes walk away. I loved renting the Segways and bikes. It was a wonderful and very relaxing environment. All in all I enjoyed the resort very much and would recommend it for others that want a very relaxing holiday.
I loved the beautiful spa that they have. Great facilities & treatments available. I didn’t like the noise from my bedroom, or some of the inappropriate male staff
Highly recommend
Front desk was great. Food was great. Plenty of parking. Beautiful property.
Amazing breakfast. Reasonable prices in the bar and lovely coastal setting.
Our booking with Expedia was for four people but their default setting when booking kept it going back to two so when we arrived we were told that we had to pay extra £350 for the two other people in our party so far I have had no response from Expedia about this! Although we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, Croatia is no longer a value for money holiday and after only being in this beautiful country a few years ago it has definitely gone up in price. The hotel, as we were not fully inclusive, was expensive and I would say more London prices (a G&T was on average £10) there was very little locally not owned by the hotel on the resort either so little choice and was a bus or taxi ride to town so no where else to spend the evening at. The food was good but very similar and a little at times like a bun fight trying to eat in the main restaurant. Souvenirs are also very expensive and in comparable to Turkey, Spain or Greece i.e. A normal fruit of the loom sweatshirt (it rained and was cloudy for 2 days that we were there so was a little cold) with a print on it they wanted 450kn/£53.89. The facilities in the hotel though are second to none with a good pool area with plenty of loungers, a fantastic indoor pool and spa, music in the evenings and generally the staff courteous and attentive. I would recommend the hotel but ensure you have a fat wallet otherwise you may be shocked!
Nothing not to like, we had an excellent stay, rooms were immaculate, Elemis products topped up every day & clean towels. Pool towels. The same old problem with people reserving sun beds!! Wonderful breakfast.
Fantastic short break in a wonderful hotel, all the staff were helpful without being pestering as you get in some other hotels, the room was comfortable and clean, the restaurant was fantastic with plenty of food choices and different every day, many thanks to all the staff and will definitely recommend this hotel
staff were all pleasant ,room spacious ,only showers not sure if any rooms do have a bath. Lovely indoor heated pool, freezing out door pool not heated , race at 8am to get towels on sun beds near pool area. Buffet , breakfast, lunch and dinner was little repetitive, if you could get table on outside terrace felt you were more on holiday indoor felt like you were in a large cafeteria , food was good though just felt like a battle at times getting served.
The resort was overall very good, I found the front line staff of the hotel excellent, overall staff was not of the high standard of a Park Plaza hotel
RUDE!!
I travel 5 days a week every week of the year. Never left a review until now. Front desk staff was absolutely rude and demeaning. Desk clerk wanted to keep our passports at check in and said it will take a long time to clear them. When we said we would wait and could not leave our passports, she said “this is a first!” When we said we needed to consolidate our luggage in the car, and would take a while, so we didn’t need any help, her comment was “wow, this is weird.” Clerk said there were no elevators In our building and it would be difficult to get the luggage to the room without help. Our room was 607. We asked if we had to walk up 6 floors. Her response was “of course not, your on the 2nd floor!”. An old tow chain blocks you from driving up to the front door of the hotel. Very hard to see and is basically a hunting camp gate. I watched guests back up from the chain and taxi cabs drop people off at the chain, not knowing there is a little button to push that alerts someone to drop the chain. Parking is not close to the rooms. Many parked on sidewalks! On Saturday night at 9:50pm, ALL restaurants are closed. We had a late day and found nothing to eat. Walked to EVERY location and they were all closed. Even to a place just off hotel property which was also closed. If you are impressed with yourself and want a shallow, make me feel important, this is a great place. If you want a comfortable, make me feel at home and welcome, look somewhere else.
This hotel does not care about you and your experience. Booked this room through Expedia for 3 nights for about $800 a Superior Sea View room. I expected to see the sea. But no, they tossed me into 2nd floor room looking at 1st floor tar roof. They first told me they overbooked, then they tried to convince me it is a sea view. That's it. I walked away. See pictures for yourself. Very misleading on Expedia and from the hotel manager. Never stay here again. In addition, there was an electrical problem in the room. The lights kept going on and off all night long. No one cared. No customer satisfaction at this hotel. In addition, there was an electrical problem in the room. The room lighting kept going on and off during the night. It seemed there was an electrical shortage in the wires. Also, the balcony shutters would not lock in place and the wind kept banging them all night long. Not a pleasant stay at $270/night. Stay away from this property.
This is a high class hotel, resort if you will. Sadly we did not stay enough to enjoy it all. The food is first class. The area is breathtaking. To tell you the truth, my wife was so happy--PRICELESS.
All is perfect. Rich breakfast. Elegant reception hall, quet room with beautiful view.
The worst hotel ever, you pay huge amount of money for the stay and doesn’t even have a pool on the property , even though they say the pool its included! They use the neighbor hotel pool which you have to pay but they don’t tell you until by the end of the day when you get a nonsense bill, the guy was like the pool is free but you have to pay for using it,lol
Beautiful property with many amenities. Breakfast was off the charts awesome
Fine for a night
Hotel is very large. Beach is small, very crowded and the chairs/mattresses require an upgrade (all were stained and old). Good breakfast, good quality room. Far from the old town.
Excellent, all the family loved it
Was excellent in all aspects. Didn't do much research so was pleasantly surprised by: good food, excellent facilities and service, the activities, the free child daycare (4yo wants us to move here so she can go to "new school"), etc. Only downside is the lack of sand. Still hoping to go back next year.
Beautiful location, helpful friendly staff and very clean. Make sure to get up early before 8:00 to secure your pool area sunned!!
A modern hotel that is clean and set on a complex. A good base to visit the area. A little out of Pula, but there is a local bus to take you in and out of town.
3 night stay , bed and breakfast Family of 6 , 2 rooms worked perfectly. Enjoyed all aspects of visit , pools , quiet areas , restaurants , shops . Easy access to pula , lots to do.
Rooms are extremely small and when Expedia says sea view, don’t get fool by that. It means you have barely any sea or might be a sea or sky view. The bed they prepared for kid which is they charged more for the horrible tiny rough sofa was horrible. 6 years old child complained about her bed being rough as a stone. Never going back.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel breakfast was excellent lots of variety. Evening entertainment finished early and was not as expected for a 4 star ... very poor.
Our short break was ruined by our room as had issues with mould and damp, we insisted on moving and after a battle we did, the second room was better but the promise of a queen bed and a garden room was false as we had twin beds and looked out at bushes and a restaurant which was noisy and had no privation had to keep shutters closed. The opaque sliding open sided bathroom door is a bad design as no privacy there either, the maid also came in our room while we were getting dressed! You have to be up early to get a pool lounger so there obviously isn’t enough.
It lacked speciality restaurants and also had no facilities for children and babies. No childrens pool. There is plenty of ground for extra restaurants and childrens pool. Therefore not for us again. Very noisie.
Enjoyable
I don't understand why the pool in this hotel closes every day at 7pm In summer it doesn't get dark till 9 pm its hot and you are kicked out of the pool. Also note it does not really have much of a beach its very rocky to get in and out of the water, the sea water is however great . Breakfast is the best feature as the rooms are fairly simple.
Great area nice facilities great breakfast with lots of choices and ommellete bar
Couples Weekend in Pula
Our stay was wondery
A great time
The staff, Romeo, Robert and Ysabulla
Very clean rooms with great views of the Adriatic Sea, the resort had live music every night with multiple great restaurants and lots to do, I highly recommend this resort!
Breakfast was very good, huge choice available. Lots of onsite activities such as tennis, cycling, table tennis. Could do with a few more sun loungers around the pool area, although staff are good about monitoring empty sun loungers and towels are removed if you leave for more than 45 minutes.
The views, beach and breakfast are great. The staff is friendly and everything you need is on premise
Good Location. Nice paid for restaurant. Staff friendly
Amazing costumer service; fantastic installations, amenities and location; delicious food; great live music; value for money
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Robert on the customer help desk. Located in a beautiful and peaceful area with easy access to public transport.
Fantastic resort, something for everyone. Clean and tidy. Also great breakfast
Amazing
Fabulous hotel- hard to find any faults! Highly recommended
Park Plaza Histria is a destination vacation resort, with everything you need around to fill in the days!
Great location. Friendly staff. Wish I could have experienced it with better weather. It was unseasonably cold and rainy.
Very friendly staff and while out of town, a nice location by the Marina. Facilities were good but some closed for the winter season. Food quality needs a bit of improvement.
Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, the rooms are spacy, nice and clean and the food is delicious. Will come again.
Nice hotel ina lovely setting
Our superior sea view room was lovely, spacious and tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom with walk in shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Great location
Great facility with fantastic staff. The street was an excellent addition
Great for people travelling to Pula by car.
Lovely hotel. We were really well treated by the staff.

Great place to relax and enjoy Istria.
This was my 3rd or 4th stay at Histria. Great staff and a hotel in a typical Mediterranean setting. Proximity to the center of Pula is a plus. Highly recommended.
