Completely modern experience in historic building

The Parisi Udvar occupies one of the most impressive historical buildings imaginable for a hotel. The historic building has been completely renovated to the highest standards of a world class luxury hotel. The service is fantastic and the rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property in a very convenient location.

This was our first time staying at Parisi Udvar and we had an outstanding experience. The service of the staff was always top quality, they were so friendly and willing to help out no matter how small the request. For instance, we wanted to store some food items in the mini fridge in our room but it was completely occupied by the minibar, so the staff promptly had it emptied so we could use it for our own things.The standard room we booked was very large and had a beautiful view of the city. Upon arrival, the staff had left a thoughtful gift of sparkling wine and chocolates in our room as we had mentioned we were travelling to Budapest on our honeymoon. Inside the lobby the hotel is also well known for its beautiful architecture and it has a cafe and bar where you can sit and enjoy breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, or a simple coffee and nice glass of wine. It is very conveniently located only 5 minutes walk away from the river on the Pest side, and you can cross the bridge from there into the Buda side. The next time we visit Budapest we will absolutely be staying with Parisi Udvar again.

5 star. A great destination hotel to explore.

Such a beautiful hotel. Honestly, I have stayed in some corkers but this place. Gorgeous. We were upgraded on arrival and the rooms are generous in size and host all needed modern amenities. The spa on the small size but other than this, hotel and service were impeccable. Hotel very central and in a great part of the city.

Mainly the great benefit of this property was it's location, literally three blocks form the main train station and subway connections to central Vienna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the contemporary design and rooftop bar. This property is also a good value for the rate charged.

The architecture of the building is breathtaking, and the hotel makes ultimate use of the space with beautiful live music, most of the day, and gorgeous events to draw you in to this spectacular city. One can get five star service from many hotels, but this one manages to feel like a special undiscovered gem!

This hotel was great. The lobby is magnificent, and it makes every entry into the hotel a treat. My room, one of the smaller ones, wasn't magnificent, but it was lovely and very comfortable. Not large but big enough with a nice work area. The golden backsplash in the bathroom was very elegant -- I want it for my home. I had room service a couple of times and the food was fantastic. Breakfast in the lobby under that belle epoque roof is a must do at least once. I loved my stay at the Budapest Parisi Udvar. The location is great too. Perfect stay.

Amazing old world atmosphere with top scale luxury and great friendly staff.

This is a ten star property. We visited the first part of May 2024. The hotel is so beautiful in person, the pictures just don’t do it justice. The staff were all exceptional. From restaurant suggestions to transportation they took care of everything. My room was always immaculate. Take time to speak with the doormen, they are very knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

A beautiful hotel with the highest quality service and facilities. The room was far above the expectations that we had, which were already high having read previous reviews. The staff are all extremely helpful and eager to accommodate. The area is very central and handy for public transport. A fantastic blend of modern facilities in a wonderfully restored period building. One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited.

Comfortable Stay

Great location. Beautiful building. Very kind and accommodating staff. They let us check in an hour early. :) love the Hyatt brand. Stayed in a corner king suite. Prefer the Andaz product. Netflix worked perfectly with iPhone. Tip: Don’t completely listen to Apple Maps if you’re driving yourself to the hotel. Apple will take you to the side of the building so take the little side street before you reach your destination.

The Parisi hotel is a dream! It unbelievably beautiful right from the moment you enter... the ceilings in the lobby and 1st floor must be at least 50 feet high and all glass. One of our favorite things we did in Budapest is taking the staff led tour the hotel itself. The staff was wonderful and and dining under the domed glass ceiling for breakfast is an absolute delicious treat!

OK, but we will not return.

The lobby is amazingly beautiful. It comes with a price: customers are constantly bugged with a stream of people coming to take a photo. The hotel personnel is very friendly, especially Peter came out of his way to help us to buy the medication across the street. Check-in lady, though, made feel one of us bitterly ignored on arrival. Rooms are pleasant but the usability is horrible and it looks like whoever designed, never stayed in a hotel. You have to click too many light switches to get what you want. Night light near bed activates with movement but there is also another night light, which apparently does not work. In the bathroom, a night light above the toilet comes on after you turn off the main ceiling light, which would be perfect — if it stayed on all night. It does not!! So you need to bang around at night to find the toilet… or get blinded with the way-too-bright light, and then your sleep is over. Front desk people did not know how it works. The toilet is cramped right behind the door and if anybody enters the bathroom while you sit down, god help your toes! The same is true for the shower, you cannot have both, the mat in front of the shower and closed doors, because the doors open out and moves the mat. Restaurant service was the worst we have experienced in Budapest. The waiter did not seem to be very interested in us and the second glass of wine arrived only after the dinner - and the choice was not mine! We will not stay here again.

I cannot fault the experience we had staying at the Paris Udvar. The friendliness of the staff, the service they provided, nothing was too much trouble as well as such a luxurious and well kept hotel generally. The beds were one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on 10/10

The hotel was great. Room looked exactly like online. Their restaurant has the best food I ever had in a hotel. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner there almost every day. Only one thing to improve and it’s the service, they take forever to get to your table, I was almost 20 min waiting with out even water. Coming from Ny where they rush you to leave, I like a slower pace but this was way too slow. Waiters would just walk pass me with out even ask if I wanted something. I had to get their attention every single time. Even trying to pay the check took forever. An almost perfect experience got “ruined” but that poor service. It’s a shame cause it was amazing food!!!

5 star hotel with excellent service and beautiful interior. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic service. I stayed one week. It was total magic to have breakfast every morning in such a stunning bit of architectural history. The common areas of the building have been elegantly restored, and the rooms have been updated for modern comfort. The staff at this hotel are extremely well-trained and very pleasant. Location is excellent and you will be able to walk to most places of interest.

Wonderful hotel and stay!

The property is stunning. The staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Had the opportunity to use the Spa Services and had one of the best massages EVER!!!! The property is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and sights. Will definitely recommended to friends and family. The breakfast buffet is the only thing that needs improvement in service and availability of food items.

This is a beautiful property..

Always the best!

My wife an I stayed for 16 nights at the Párisi Udvar Hotel in July 2022. My wife took Hungarian summer classes at a nearby university. The hotel is located in a historical building that was the private residence of a noble person about 200 years ago. The building was extended and renovated several times since. The interior architecture of the hotel is stunning. Many tourists enter the lobby just to take pictures of the glass dome. Our room was modern and spacious. It had a full size desk, a sitting area, coffee making area and a large bed. The room had both a shower and a bath. The view from the room was towards an elaborate old building across the street. That building had may external ornaments. The service in the hotel was superb. Each day the cleaning staff visited our room 4 times: First to clean the room, followed by a visit of a supervisor to ensure the quality of the cleaning, followed by a person who replenished the coffee and minibar, and finally a person who prepared the room for the night. We ate breakfast every day in the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet had many options. It was suitable for people with gluten and dairy allergies. The servers were attentive. After the second breakfast they learned our names, our preferred coffee, bread, and jam. If you buy the breakfast package, each breakfast costs 25 Euros per person, but it makes sense only if you eat breakfast every day at the hotel. Otherwise breakfast costs 35 Euros per person.

The hotel staff were very helpful at every stage of our stay. The rooms were large and well equipped. We didn't opt to pay for breakfast through Expedia, although we paid at the hotel one day. The breakfast was good but not worth the money (unless you want to drink the champagne which is on offer). There are lots of good cafes in the area so eating breakfast out wasn't a problem. The hotel is close to most tourist attractions in the city. We mostly walked, although occasionally took the tram which was easy. Whilst the hotel itself was good, the service via Expedia.com wasn't good. We had to alter the booking date. Expedia staff can't alter the flight so you have to do this yourself via the airline (which makes booking through a travel agent a bit redundant). The experience of making changes through the online system was also very frustrating.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room is spacious with everything you need. Hotel amenities are excellent. The spa is small but offered all that you need to relax. I recommend a massage. Staff are fantastic and make the overall experience just perfect.

Best service beaifull architecture

This property is fully renovated and 5 star . Staff is excellent and professional. I will never stay in any other hotel while visiting Budapest.

Hotel I one of the most stunning we have stayed in. A must see, even if only for a cocktail in the atrium. Rooms are very nice and clean, Staff was the best!

Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is situated in a beautifully renovated luxury arcade dating back to the 1800's. The architectural details, and particularly the glass ceilings are amazing. Several movies have been filmed here and you can see why. The rooms are stylish, light and contemporary. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food is good and I enjoyed the table-service breakfast instead of the usual buffet.

Simply exceptional!

This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at! Exceptional service (very attentive and kind people), exceptional food at the restaurant and an overall great experience! I also really liked the location - close to the Danube - you could walk to so many restaurants, shops, and historical places.

From start to finish the hotel and the staff were amazing. The spa area was small but was lovely and peaceful, the staff at the spa were extremely helpful. The lobby and dining area is something you don’t see everyday it is actually breathtaking, we asked for a late check out and we’re kindly told it was not a problem. The room was bigger than I expected and had a modern yet luxurious feel too it , bathroom was too. I had emailed in a couple of days prior to arriving to advise them it was our 15th wedding anniversary and got an email straight back saying they would arrange for a bottle of champagne and chocolate to be left in the room. This was a lovely touch and we were made to feel like royalty throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel !!!

I nick named this hotel the hotel of “yes” Anything you need, the answer is yes. The friendliest staff, exceptional service from the doormen, front desk and concierge. Extremely gracious and helpful. (Especially Eszler, Marcell & Peter) Rooms are beautiful, exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds. Our shower head was a bit faulty, it was immediately fixed. The spa Is beautiful, and although we did not have time to receive a service, we did get a chance to go into the Jacuzzi. This would be my only non 5 out of 5 stars. The water was not hot enough and we were told it on an automatic timer, I believe 10 minutes on 15 minutes off, something like that. We were the only 2 utilizing it. we were told it was more for relaxing, versus being very hot. By the time you wait for the Jacuzzi to start up again, the water became a little too chilly for my liking. Overall a great vacation experience!!

The decor was beautiful and staff were very friendly. Only feedback was it took a while for the staff to greet you when trying to get a table at the brasserie. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others

Amazed - pictures don’t do this place justice

The staff were incredible- couldn’t have asked for more. The only thing I would say is, the cleaner didn’t change the bed sheets often.

We had a great stay in Budapest staying in this magnificent establishment. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and a very nice place to stay.

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Pest - close to everything including Jewish District, Danube, sight seeing boats, promenade, market, and fashion district. Beautifully restored historical building - rooms are fantastic. Very high end. Nothing beats the Lobby - incredible & unique architecture. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best in Budapest

Fantastic hotel with a great service that compete with some of the well established players in Budapest. Breakfast was great and cocktails and room service were also great. The chromecast was great as I could pair up my Netflix & Spotify off my phone and it actually worked for once. Additionally as a dust allergy sufferer I had no flare up whilst on my visit which isn’t always the case in 5 star hotels. I’ll be back very soon to see my friends in town.

Stunning hotel in a great location

Beautiful hotel with a perfect location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The room in the hotel was spacious with stylish decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Spa is small but great to warm up after a freezing day of sightseeing. Tasty signature cocktails at the bar.

Modern chic hotel in a historical building

Great service, great food, great atmosphere, great location (central to activities). The brand new spa and sauna were amazing after a long day. Inside a really cool renovated building that was featured in a classic spy movie!

The hotel's ground floor is rare and spectacular in its beauty. We were happy to pass through there every day. The hotel rooms are modern, clean, well-equipped and enable TV streaming. We took the lounge and it was a great decision. The lounge is open throughout the day with delicious, varied foods that change throughout the day. The hotel's brasserie is also highly recommended. The hotel staff is friendly and professional.

The hotel lobby is state of art, the rooms are clean and nice but apart of this, i didn’t feel the 5 stars standard in this hotel, small variety of dining ( only one restaurant ) with even smaller variety of menu ( breakfast and dinner ). I didn’t expect not having pool at the hotel ( it’s my fault not check). As overall the hotel would be ok but not 5 stars

The Hotel was breathtaking, from its inique lobby to its huge plush rooms where no expense has been spared on its recent renovation.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at Parisi Udvar. The hotel is located just 5mins walk away from the main city area. It is clean, spacious and luxurious. Because it a relatively new hotel, the amount of guest is slightly lesser and generally less busy than other major hotels, which was a good thing for me. I would like to particularly commend on the staff’s professionalism - They helpful, pleasant and polite throughout all our interactions. A service worthy of a 5star hotel. Overall, was a great experience and I will definitely come back again if I visit Budapest!
