Location Location Location
Great location.
This property was the dirtiest apartment I have ever stayed in. There were disgusting stains on the pullout couch (which there was no linen provided for if we did want to use it to sleep on), mascara stains on the pillow cases, we found hairs in the beds, black mold in the shower, weird stains on the curtains. The list goes on. The primary bedroom is street facing so it is incredibly loud and you can hear every conversation of people passing on the street. The only redeeming quality of this place was the friendly concierge.
Property was clean and bright. Very spacious and inviting. Would definitely stay here again
Good location
Very clean and comfortable. Great service.
I like our suite but I didnt like the area
Over all it was a great experience at Park Ave
My stay in this place was very nice, it is well located and is quiet to the surroundings. The only thing I think should improve kitchen utensils.
Property was just nice and clean, however there were a few things that were broken upon arrival. The shower head would not mount to the wall and continuously fell. The pull out couch was also in terrible condition almost about to fall apart. Other than that location is what is to expected not too far from the heart of Montreal but not in the center of it. Overall I liked the place!
The property was adequate. The furniture was stained and overall the place seemed old. It was clean and the local area was fine. We were there for the weekend and the only parking option was an Uber away (because we had luggage). You could walk the 15 min if you wanted. Nothing was bad enough to complain, but I wouldn't stay here again.
Second time at this property, we really enjoy the layout and location. However it is a bit run down since last time. Dishwasher was not working, mirror taped and no lever in the shower. Hope that they will continue maintain as we love coming back
Check in Verification process took long. Parking is challenging due to puvlic Parking with timings.
calm area, respectful employees, reasonable price. overall good stay
This is our second time with Parc loft and we always look forward to stay here security is great, amenities and cleanliness are the best walkable to near grocery, drug store and near downtown as well
Good property overall.
Street parking with three hour max
NOT A SAFE PLACE~DO NO STAY HERE~GHETTO AREA~
This hotel is located in a very sketchy neighborhood. Very dirty ghetto type neighborhood with a bunch of homeless people lurking around. They had a passed out drunk or drug addict in the graffitied door right next to the hotel. They say that they have available parking and they do not have available parking. The parking is if you can find a public parking space. It took me 30 minutes to find a spot to park and when I asked about their parking they do not have any. The area is so unsafe that even the staff have to ring you in. Due to the fact I felt very uneasy I did not stay, Definitely not the area for a woman to travel alone. The border patrol had already alerted me that I was going to an unsafe area and not to leave my car in a non secured parking lot because they will steal it specially with foreign plates. The manager would not refund nor come to the phone for me nor for Hotels.com. To boot it was garbage day and the whole back block was lined with garbage bags from one end to the other. They do not use garbage cans. Just garbage bags all over the place. Overall a pretty disgusting place. I was suppose to stay for 3 days, two nights and I stayed for 3 hrs..
Potential clients should know that even if they have paid they will have to check in through an unknown website that will require the to provide photos of front and back of photo ID, selfie, and photo of front and back of their credit card. If they dont comply they will not be able to access the room that they've already paid for. The person at front desk in my case was completely useless. This violation of privacy is in IMO unnecessary. Abusive approach from the hotel.
Amazing Montreal Weekend
Amazing suite. Great location. Restaurants, boutiques and clubs all easy walking distance. Staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.
Great place to stay!
Great place to stay for business trip, convenient and cost effective; I do need an invoice of my stay while that I did not receive it.
It was ok .. rooms were so small
No parking, no elevator and not enough linen for 5 people.
Good
Almost as expected!
The place was almost as expected, we were 2 couples and a baby. Cleanness is fine, kitchen is well equipped to cook a meal. Beds are comfortable. We had planned to use the living room sofa bed but it was terrible to sleep on. We would have prefered a second room with a real double bed, but we had to use the 2 single bunk beds in the second room which is extremely small, it barely fits the bunkbeds and nothing else, feels more like a walking closet! This was a busness trip, we had to get up at 6;00 It was very noisy on the floor above us the first night. lots of walking with noisy shoes until 12:00. We were awakened at around 3;00 in the morning by people yelling and arguing. I guess that it is not necessarely always the case. The second night was very quiet.
We did not stay. The bedroom was so tight we couldn't walk around the bed. The cleaning chemical smell was so overwhelming we felt we might have an asthma attack on the spot. We couldn't cancel as we were already there, but we left and booked another hotel downtown.
There is no elevator on this property. The rooms are unacceptably in bad condition for the cost of property fee they are charging, this should be in prime condition. The spare bed didn’t even open, it was broken, broken dishwasher.. room damages and refusal to compensate.
The property was ok, not enough places to hang clothing or towels. Fairly clean. Our problem was with parking. The desk assistant said we could park on street, or park in a $35 lot 10 minutes away. The posted parking hours on the meters do not reflect actual parking hours as we found out by getting a very expensive parking ticket. Phone apps for parking are unclear as well, but that is separate from this residence. Parking rules should have been clearly stated to us.
Good overall
It was a good place to stay at minus the parking. They had alternative private parking that’s a 15 min walk from the loft. It was easier to get into an uber in downtown montreal. there were lots of stores and restos within the vicinity for a quick bite. They’re complete with kitchen accessories and toiletries. There some parts that weren’t exactly clean like the living room chair and master bedroom window.
NICE 👍
It was good and comfortable
Fully stacked lofts, modernized, clean. Helpful front desk 24 hours. And after all - great prices.
The problem is only the packing.
DO NOT BOOK. - this is a hostel NOT a hotel. No elevator. Leaking ceiling. Dirty linen. Unknown Stains on all the furniture. Smells like weed. No parking. Leased by loud party goers at night
Great area. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean, living spaces and carpets were extremely dirty. 3 bedroom wasn't a proper 3 bedroom as one of the bedrooms is in an open space.
Property condition poor. Leaking sealing. Dirty stained couches and carpet. No parking. No elevator. Broken shower head. 3rd bedroom is actually a living area. Room has a bad smell
My experience wasn’t that good when I arrived, there was a language barrier, and they needed you to scan your information into their computers, which was a laptop. Parking was a nightmare you had to constantly be switching between one side of the street or the other and in the morning I had a $351 parking ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street, when I asked the attendant to translate, she was helpful, but pointed to a very small placard, which talked about parking. They need to advertise this more in the description of this place. It says parking was included, which it was not looks nice in the pictures and it is very modern in the condos but overall it was still shabby.
Local area was great! Lots of restaurants and amazing coffee shop, Alphabet Cafe. Property is a bit run down (shower head in 2nd bath broken, couch stained and a broken chair on arrival). A little bit of upkeep and this place would get 5 stars!
Receptionist and manager David are worst person I ever seen in my life. Not polite and professional.
Really nice modern style apartments. Area is great as well many choices when it comes to food options. Public transportation is very accessible as well with a 1 bus trip to get to downtown Montreal. Definitely would return in the future!
Very pleasant. Great staff. Great place
This property was beautiful and had the most gorgeous rooftop terrace with amazing views especially at night. The management was lovely, efficient and kind. The neighbourhood seems to have been hard hit by the pandemic and had us a little worried about safety at first but we were assured it was safe and had no issues.
I like roof top view and the staff
Terrible across the board.
The property is in a very nice area where there are lots of dinning places and coffee shops. The area feel safe although was a little dirty. The property itself is very run down. The place was renovated but was not maintained well. I would say this is property management issues. They don't feel like they need to maintain or fix things. There was no shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the bathroom. There is some conditioner but smelled really bad - prob way expired. The dish detergent is also moldy. The water pot with the filter and the coffee pot was never washed. Not sure if all the bedsheets or towels were washed properly but one of the bed sheet has a stain. It was very hot while we stayed so we didn't use the blanket. The sofa bed is very dirty. We ended up having a family of 3 sleeping in the "king" size bed - which was really put together with 2 full size beds. The door lock was falling apart. We screwed them back together. This made us very uncomfortable until we found that the neighborhood is probably safe and we put down our guard. But we still hesitate to leave anything in the room especially our laptops. The pictures in Expedia is pretty deceiving as the unit we picked was not the picture shown. Be careful and made sure you pick the correct room. We originally thought we picked 2 bedroom with 2 queens and 1 sofa bed. We had a room with bunk bed - that squeaks every single small movement and you don't have any space to put your luggage.
Overall a good place to stay.
I recently stayed at a hotel and unfortunately, I encountered a problem with the bed. Specifically, there were flies in it. While I understand that these things can happen, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. I hope that in the future, the hotel staff can take extra care to ensure that the rooms are thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive. Overall, I appreciate the efforts of the staff and enjoyed my stay, but this issue did detract from my experience.
General Manager From Hell The General Manager there Brian is the absolute worst person I have ever had to deal with when dealing with hotels. We booked through Expedia and didn't purchase the refund protection. Our problem I know. Two days before our scheduled arrival date we tried to cancel (son got sick) and get a refund or voucher or change the dates but Brian refused. That's fair, we tried. On the day we were to arrive, I called the hotel to confirm our booking, since we couldn't cancel or reschedule we were going to go, just my partner and I. I asked about the conditions in Montreal because of all the power outages and the fallout of the ice storm there on Wednesday/Thursday and was told by Brian that there were no problems in Montreal, that it is all media hype. Well, turns out, I was told this by one of his staff, that the building we are staying in still has now power - at three in the afternoon(at 6pm they still had no hydro) of the day we are scheduled to check in. At this point the only fair thing to do is to offer a full refund, but no. We are expected to drive 6 hours from Toronto to arrive at a hotel that can not provide electricity to their paying guests, and hope that the power comes one at some point during our vacation. That's wrong! After much back and forth, having my phone blocked, file red flagged, whatever that means, told that I'm being verbally abusive and threatened with some sort of legal action for harassing him and his staff (the staff wer
Everything was perfect. It was clean, spacious, very comfortable for my family. The employees were kind and professional. The only issue: there is no elevator.
Poorly managed, no communication, no one at reception ever not even during hours in property’s description til 7pm . Bed sheets were not washed or changed after pervious guests.
Unsafe and horrible communication
The apartment itself was a nice ñ, comfortable space, but the building common areas were dirty, the door to the street was often unlocked and there was rarely anyone at the check-in/security desk. Communication with the property manager and staff was also a problem. When I had technical issues with the self check-in process the day before I arrived I emailed the management company but never heard back. When I arrived there was no staff at the checkin desk so I called the 24 hour number for the management company but got a message saying they were only available 9-5. I had to wait 40 minutes in the lobby area until I could find a number to message someone at the management company who then somehow found the security guard who was supposed to be at the desk to come and let me in. Saw another group the next day who was having a similar experience.
It's a nice place! we had a good vacation there! Nice and clean, we just loved it
Good location
I definitely DID NOT like that the property did not disclose that it was a walk up with no elevators and the staircase had NO banisters to hold on to and it was not ventilated at all. I feel very deceived for a property that charges like it is a 4 star property. Many other customers that were next door said the same thing. And when I called about not receiving my access codes, the customer service representative was rude! This property needs to be transparent with potential customers.
Clean ,but why we have to take out our Owen thrash and need handle for stairs.
No elevator, stairs narrow and stiff, and smells bad
Very dirty place ,manager is not very nice !
Potential but needs work
The space was very good for 6 adults (although one bedroom was really a hallway). The terrace was great. However there were some issues. We requested beds being set up a certain way and that didn't happen nor was it corrected as promised. The landing and our door were full of toys and clothes and not cleaned for 24 hours. The door lock was not working and we had only 1 key for everyone. There were little issues with finishes and furniture throughout. Could be great, but not there yet.
Loved it at the parc residence. Nastasha and Brian made us so comfortable. It was such a fantastic stay. We will be coming back for sure. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. The kitchens are amazing. We stayed in a penthouse and we loved the hot tub. It was just amazing.
The property was recently renovated but there are still a lot of things left undone. The upstairs' shower is leaked each time we would take a shower so we would have to hold the shower head to prevent the heads. The calking was not done, and we can be the separation of the tiles. There is no counter space in the bathroom or the rooms. We booked the 3 bedroom condo and had 6 girls there and we did our make up on the bed. The location is amazing. It was walkable and near many restaurants and shops.
The appattment was a bit smaller then we expected but clean and pretty... we were on the second floor, no elevator. All in all it was a decent place
Very helpful & supportive staff
The Parc Avenue Residence was beautiful. I booked this place for a nice little getaway for a few of my family members for my aunt's birthday. The self check-in was simple and convenient. We ended up getting upgraded to a 4 bedroom from a 3 bedroom which worked out perfectly for us as the hot tub was connected to our upstairs room. It was really nice and convenient to have that attached. The place was really big and spacious. A couple of things to mention though, the couch in our place was pretty outdated compared to the pictures in the room that I had booked initially. The place was not as updated as what we had originally booked. On the rooftop patio, we noticed a lot of cigarette buds in garden area, the patio cushions were just tossed around, not in place. When we arrived, the hot tub water was half filled so when we wanted to use it, we had to fill it and it wasn't warm enough to use the first night. It was disappointing to find out there was no elevator as this was a condo, I would think there would be. I felt bad for my aunt and mom who are older and deal with knee issues. We were on the 3rd floor so it was a bit of a trek up and down the stairs. Would have been nice to have more convenient parking though. The beds were comfortable and I was happy we had the extra bed for my cousin so he didn't have to sleep on a pull out bed. Once we got the hot tub at the correct temperature, it was nice to use. The place overall was pretty nice.
Clean apartment in student neighborhood. Safe. Close to old Montreal.( 15 min. drive) Close to restaurants and grosery stores. Friendly staff. Provided extra pillows and extra towels. I would say it is overpriced for such a small apartment ( looks like it was a studio before they made it in two bedroom). Really tight space. For five people there were only 4 full sets of plates and only 3 cups and 3 glasses. No frying pan. (Guess they would bring if I asked ). Microwave is available only for very tall people. No elevator. The sofabed matrass is really hard. I paid over a thousand dollars for three nights. I expected a bit more for this money.
Close to Mont Royale and lively restaurants, etc. Within walking distance of metro stations. Very comfortable bed. Liked having kitchen, washing machine, etc. Beware of puddles on balcony caused by a/c! Bathroom well equipped with toiletries and good hairdryer. A very comfortable and convenient stay.
The building does not have an elevator, and the area is popular, and there is no car park near the building. You must do everything online. Entering, exiting, and even entering the identity must be done through the Internet, and sometimes you face difficulty with the Internet, and they must have an employee who copied the identity
Property was located close to downtown so that was great. Street were property is located is a little run down with lots of graffiti. But it was safe. Our room was ok. Sofa and rug was a little dirty. Parking was about a 5 minute walk from apartment. Overall ok stay but won't be using again.
Really clean,private, really nice
Will not return
I really wanted to like this property as i need an apartment style place for work trips. its the perfect location and space is great. BUT be warned room 205 has bedbugs. I got bites all over! I was able to change rooms for my second night but I still felt like the bugs could have crawled into multiple rooms and worst case my suitcase. also the cleaning could have been better. pots and pans and cutlery was put away dirty in cupboards.
Отличное место!
It was very clean and the location is fantastic. The staff/security members were very nice and helpful
We had a great time.
Great property! We were a family of 6 and was super comfortable for us. Staff was friendly and always avail e to help. Clean and well kept. No noise. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience during this trip in Montreal. And one of the reason was this place. They offer us very good time to stay and wonderful communications. Everybody loved to come back to this place for another trip!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Great staff with great communication. One of the best places to stay in Montreal
Best place to stay!
Everything was in proper order. The place is clean and peaceful!
It looked amazing! Beyond our expectations. Would definitely book again
It is nice clean property with accessible amenities.
Everything’s was perfect , complete kitchen, the beds and the love seat was comfortable. And look amazing .
Great place. I arrived early morning called and someone came to open the door at 4:30 in the morning. The showerhead had a problem the guy came to fix as soon as I called. Great location great service good breakfast next-door
The property is located in a very nice spot. It is close to many things such as cafés, bagel shop, plateau, Mont Royal and more. The property itself is nice. Well lit and had everything we needed. The only con is that the shower was missing a door. It still worked just had to plan it out so you don't get the floor wet. Also, walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours but we didn't mind this. Another thing that we wish it had is parking. It was a mission to find parking at night and also reviewing the parking areas were also a bit difficult. Plan ahead, it is doable just time consuming. Communication by phone was hard but emails and messages were always answered. Accomodated us in every way. The security guard, Kyle was also super helpful with our late check in. Overall, good stay! Thank you!
nice place to stay
the staff is very friendly and helpfull, we like the appartments, they are well equiped and clean. the area is nice and well located, if you stay here you must go and get your bagels at st viteur one block away
The front desk had someone there most of the time and they were very helpful. The neighborhood had lots of restaurants and shops and was really eclectic.
It was average at best
Good value for the money.
It was very clean and confortable. We had all the necessary to cook which was nice. Only thing I could note negatively were that the TV would not connect to wifi.
Excellent stay! Brian at the desk was personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. Staff was always available when we had questions no matter the time of day or night. The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you need. Will definitely be back.
Everything was awesome. Loved it! Great area, convenient, very clean, quiet. My only small critiques would be that the towels had a lot of lint so it rubbed off on everything (I bought a lint brush), it had all the kitchen stuff you need except a baking sheet & the microwave was up very high so we stood on stools, lol
Great clean place
Great nice clean place. Perfect for family.
Clean and nice place everything was nice the appartement was just parfait I recommend it
Mile end
This property was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed for our weekend trip to Montreal. The area has lots of restaurants and bars for an evening out.
Great location in Mile End. Very comfortable and stylish apts. and very friendly and helpful staff. Terrific groceries right across the stree with fresh produce and fish.
Wonderful location in fully renovated building. Unit itself (203) needs some repair work and cleaning (sofa filthy). Otherwise great little apartment in Mile End
Great property in a good location. Compared to a hotel you are getting more for your money. Lots of little niggles though - we checked in after midnight and just wanted to get to our room, no lift and no help from staff so I made four trips up and down the stairs in sweltering heat to get our stuff to the room - not a great start. Then from past experience conducted a thorough review of the property because these places charge if you break it - I found broken glass in cupboard, damage to furniture and doors, which I reported but the owners did not acknowledge, this providing no peace of mind. As stay progressed notice other issues on general up keep - electric light figments that we’re broken, knifes that had snapped at handles but been pushed back together, overall lacked a level of detail in inspection / room preparation / service. Other pout. Was we stayed in a room beginning with a 2 on 1st floor, those on the second floor which I believe have hot tubs etc make a herd of elephants sound quiet - we had lots of roof noise from stomping about above us every evening as people returned and messed about upstairs into the early hours. Great location if everyone can carry their bags to the hot tub floor!
Comfortable stay, great location, slightly cramped
A great, new property, but slightly cramped with 8 people.
The units had air conditioning, great views, a Jacuzzi and nice clean walls. The down side the Jacuzzi was dirty, we had to clean it before we used it. There was no one on duty to ask about cleaning it. The couch cushions had stains and the floors in the bathroom were not clean.
I’ll be back!
I would definitely stay here again! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the apartment well equipped, and the staff was helpful (especially with parking) and cheerful.
Nice and clean place, good for families! Parking was a bit of an issue since it was public parking and had to pay hourly
Good place to stay .
Nice apartment with all the amenities. Nice touch to stick it with some goodies and a big bottle of water . Nice area. Parking was a bit of a concern but not bad. Get the city app for parking to make it easier. Would stay there again !👍
Beautiful loft!!
Amazing stay beautiful loft wonderful service and decor
Everything was brand new and very clean i wanna come back
