A night away

Expected email to give details about checking in the day before arriving but nothing arrived fortunately a friend was also booked in and they let us know to go to the bar in the restaurant to get booked up. Absolutely lovely little hotel, room was beautiful staff very friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. The room was very comfortable. The guest lounge was fully stocked with drinks and snacks.

Fabulous stay in Cardiff. Beautiful room with a big bathroom. Hotel has a separate guest lounge. Coffee and tea freely available in the lounge and an honesty box for a wide range of alcoholic drinks and snacks. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent near restaurants and transport. This hotel also has a lovely restaurant downstairs.

Wonderful stay and the staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

small room

What an amazing find! The room was lovely, comfy bed, bathroom and shower gorgeous. Little touches here and there, lots of thought has gone into what guests might need. Kitchen and lounge area was a lovely surprise, again everything well thought out. Lovely coffee from the machine in the morning and to top it off the breakfast was 10/10. We had the full parador and the scrambled eggs on sour dough, both delicious! And loved the continental options. Couldn’t fault a thing, would 100% stay again should we go to Cardiff again. Thank you for an amazing stay

This was an outstanding place! Room was small, but all that I needed. Self serve lounge was well stocked and their porch area was peaceful. The staff were incredibly helpful and very hospitable. I only ate the breakfast, both continental and additional options and they were excellent!!! I would recommend this place to anyone heading to Cardiff for a little respite or work.

Wonderful

Fantastic room (Flor), excellent lounge for guests. Superb helpful hosts from the moment we arrived. So glad we went with an independent hotel rather than the characterless chains in town.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent one night stay whilst attending an event at the stadium. Location excellent for the stadium and city centre bars and restaurants. Staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, as was the lounge and terrace available for guests. Would not hesitate to stay again.

10/10 City Centre Stay

Lovely room and hotel which was perfect for our stay for a local wedding over the weekend. The breakfast was 10/10 and the lounge area for use by all guests with honesty bar is a lovely touch. We did have a bit of noise outside the room at night to be expected, as it is centrally located but earplugs and eye mask are provided! Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic hotel, with great shared lounge to meet other guests. City centre location close to everything. Breakfast was amazing, would definitely stay here again.

Incredible breakfast, great location

Very smart hotel, room very clean, bed pretty comfortable though one pillow was too soft and one too hard, neither quite right. The lounge and terrace for guests to have drinks was nice though that did mean no kettle in the room. Location was very convenient but quiet. You could hear hallway noise and doors closing but only a couple of times. Breakfast was amazing - I'd stay here again just for that. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Gem of a hotel

A lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast, clean tidy lovely staff, a comfortable terrace to sit and have drink from the honesty bar. Walking distance to everywhere.

Very well decorated and a brilliant honesty bar. Food was fantastic and staff really attentive especially around allergens. Best breakfast of my life.

Brilliant stay!

Our whole stay was brilliant - staff friendly, everywhere super clean and tidy, food delicious! The whole feel, decor and ambience made us feel like we were back in Spain (helped along with the unusually warm weather!)

Very updated but cozy

We were greeted very warmly upon arriving, showed the eminities and then to our room. Very thoughtful touches with slippers and robes available in the room. Breakfast was fresh and had a good mixture. There are alot of stairs so i would request a lower floor for someone not up to it. I would definitely stay again!

The restaurant was fantastic , rooms lovely and the staff were so welcoming. They have a lovely lounge area to use also.

Great

We stayed for 2 nights. Would highly recommend staying at Parador44. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room deco was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

You’ll never want to leave!

The room was gorgeously appointed, and the shower felt luxurious! The honor bar and patio were a great addition to the experience, and the breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day (highly recommend the flamenco eggs!). I had a hard time leaving, and wished I had booked for a few extra days!

Great stay

Great stay in Cardiff city centre. Downstairs is a restaurant but the rooms and decor of the hotel are done to an excellent standard. A few low ceilings, but otherwise a perfect place. Breakfast is good too - would stay here again.

Cardiff's gem

This is truely a hidden gem! Molly was the nicest person we met on our 3 week vacation. The location was perfect, our room was comfortable, the breakfast was so good, and we loved the honor bar with outdoor space. Cardiff on the other hand was such a disappointment starting with the castle was closed

Lovely hotel and great area. Stayed a few times so must like it?! Just be wary of the noise of party revellers

Great downtown location, but very quiet. Quirky building with modern updates. Nice upstairs lounge and rooftop sitting area with free hot drinks and alcoholic drinks available. Great breakfast with Spanish influence. Rich was wonderfully helpful at checkin and in the evenings.

Great style, great staff, amazing sun terrace for guests use. And perfect location in the more upscale part of Cardiff

Faultless and thoughtful

The hotel, staff and breakfast were flawless. The room was stunning, huge four poster bed and a double shower. There is a separate communal bar and outside seating area with an amazingly stocked, private, residents only bar. Every staff member we encountered from check-in to check-out were fantastic and super helpful. They even left a note in our room saying happy anniversary. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel. Overnight bacon was something I've never had before, but will be dreaming about for weeks!

Elegant Spanish-influenced hotel/restaurant

I liked this place a lot. Staff is friendly and efficient. Bedsheets are great, shower is wonderful. Location is terrific: 8-min walk from train station, two blocks from Cardiff Castle, one block from extensive pedestrian area. I’ve already recommended it to a friend.

Excellent stay

We stayed in the Baròn suite, a stunning room, four poster bed, double shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. In a fantastic location, superb breakfast. We hope to stay again soon and we will definitely be eating at the restaurant.

Really beautiful hotel close to everything. It has a lovely little seating area with an honor bar and coffee, tea and snacks. Rooms were spacious and well appointed.

Loved the lounge with coffees and honor bar. Bar 44, their sister restaurant around the corner had delicious cocktails and tapas. Parking garage across the street was expensive and difficult to navigate in such tight spaces.

Parador 44 is a fabulous hotel. There is an instant relaxed & friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, they are so attentive & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are perfect & I loved the concept of the honesty bar. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel by far & Sunday lunch was delicious too. I can’t wait to return. Thanks for making our weekend so special.

Fantastic stay.

Hotel was amazing. Staff were so friendly & helpful and when out of Thier way to ensure we could check in a little earlier for my husband's 50th Birthday surprise.
