Fantastic location very near Syntagma Square, which is on Metro Line 3 direct from the airport. Breakfast also very good & there are so many cafes & restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good

Pan Hotel was a very nice stay although we only needed to stay for one night. It is conveniently located for all the sights in Athens with plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We booked a room for three guests although is was only two of us because the price was more competitive than area hotels. We were very surprised to find a separate bedroom and an additional bathroom for the third guest! We didn't even use that space. The main improvement the facility needs is a faster elevator.

Excellent location, great staff but the stairs are brutal and the elevator is scary small. Overall a great place for a few nights stay.

Not Terrible - Not Great

First the good... The A/C worked great. The hotel is also conveniently located. Now, what I experenced... The room I had offered no view. The window looked out at a set of stairs that went up to a blank wall. My room was on the second story and other than the door to my room, I didn't see an egress in case of fire. Breakfast consisted of mainly coldcuts, cheese and yogurt. Some cold cereals as well. You could also have a hard boiled egg, and the breakfast lady would make toast for you. I saw her do that for some other guests that were there. The breakfast room was really small. One morning there was not a place left for one or even two people to sit, so I sat at a place set up for 3 people. It was a place that would be really tight for a party of 3. The breakfast lady commented to me about sitting at a place that could possibly hold three people. I sat there just because it was was the worst place for a party of three to set. From that point on, I just got my food in the morning and took it out to the lobby to eat. If breakfast is a primary concern in renting a hotel, don't stay here! This hotel is not the worst that I have ever stayed in, but I would not be inclined to stay here a second time.

The property is well located and the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Includes a lovely Greek breakfast and is good value for money.

Not Bad for the Location

It was convenient as it was close to the scene and restaurants. Room is good enough for me but it's a bit small if I am with someone.

It was nice to be greeted by friendly staff while registering, in Spiros. All the staff were nice and friendly. The lady at the breakfast bar in the mornings, was so nice and very attentive. The room was cleaned everyday. The proximity to a lot of restaurants and the recommendations of the other receptionist were spot on and served good food and good service. It was nice to be able to judt cross the street and have good food. Thank you to all the staff.

Nice area central to everything

Nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location. Tiny shower, even by Greece standards (from what I’ve experienced). Elevators are also tiny if you have a lot of luggage (I did not) and might need more than 1 trip. Breakfast was basic, but good. Woman who ran oversaw it was amazing, constantly buzzing around ensuring everyone had everything they could possibly need. And then some :) I’d stay there again without hesitation.

Fantastic stay in a super friendly hot, even put on breakfast early for our 6.30 am departure which we did not expect!

Great place

As a capital city centre hotel it is fine. Room was clean & has effective (if noisy) AC. Basically furnished but adequate. Lift is tiny so getting luggage up & down is tricky/time consuming. Breakfast area is small & somewhat chaotic, but the range of food on offer is good & the lady running the breakfast service is very nice & efficient.

Decent location, average room

Pan hotel is well located in Athens. A few steps away from the main shopping street and yet within reasonable distance to main tourist locations. We could see Acropolis from my room window corner.

Fabulous location, central, in the very walkable part of town, yet still accessible by cab. <5 minute walk to Syntagma, convenient for taking the metro to the airport. Staff was so knowledgeable and helpful, they allowed to check into an available room in the morning and offered us to eat breakfast a little early before departure. Building may be old but it felt well taken care of. AC worked great.

We liked the location, being pretty central to shopping and restaurants. Short walk from train station. The AC in our room didn’t work. We mentioned it to the front desk and were told they’d send someone to fix it. No one did. Luckily, we figured out how to turn it on manually,

We really enjoyed our stay. The service was excellent. Thank you Spiros for the recommendations and the laughs, you make this hotel very welcoming. Most of the activities can easily be walked! Perfect location.

Perfect location

We had a bigger room than expected. Bathroom was small, breakfast was basic, staff was very kind and willing to help. Location is perfect, in city center and very close to the bus station for going to the airport. Also, very close to metro station.

Great central location. Basic clean room with no views and a/c was absolutely required in summer. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Went above and beyond to loan me an iron and prepare a breakfast box for my early checkout.

Very good location to everything. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean room that has air conditioning and pretty quiet. Would come again!

Comfortable stay & amazing location

The hotel is in an amazing location. Shops & restaurants are all over. The staff was very efficient. If you need a taxi, the hotel will get it for you. The hotel elevator is very small so keep that in mind if you are claustrophobic. I took the stairs.

I originally had my room on the 6th floor with a balcony but they moved it to the 2nd floor so I can just take the stairs up and down which is no problem.

The hotel is close to the metro station and is close to food and shopping areas.

The breakfast was good.

We enjoyed having two separate rooms for our party of 3. The largest bedroom was spacious. The breakfast in the morning had quite a few options for everyone’s enjoyment

This hotel is centrally located in plaka near syntagma square. Poor ac. Hotel was clean but tired. Peeling paint in the shower.

The Pan Hotel is right in the middle of everything, yet was super quiet. Easy to get to from public transit with great front desk staff who went above and beyond with any of my questions/ needs. I seemed to be allergic to the bedding linen. I felt Itchy all over and came up bumps.

Good location

We stayed in the family room for 5 nights and configuration for a couple plus another traveler was absolutely perfect!!! It was very spacious and nice to have the separate bedroom for the single bed. The location was perfect and there were soooo many really good places to eat within a 5 min walk. We were not huge fans of breakfast and found the options limiting. For a budget stay it was just right for us. Really just depends what your looking for. Our biggest complaint were the pillows. They only give one each and they left a lot to be desired. The elevator can just fit three adults if you squeeeeze in. We ended up taking the stairs to our 7th floor room most of the time because the elevator was in high demand and a bit too cozy to share with a stranger. If you have a lot of big bags this could be an issue. Felt clean but some spots in need of repair. Worked out just fine for us.

While the rooms area is a little small, they are welll designed for comfort. The service at the hotel is both top notch professional and friendly. The hotel's location is fantastic, being so close to everything.

House keeping was a little bit messy. Once the towels were missing, once the room card was "stolen"...

Excellent location just 2 minutes walking from Syntagma square. personnel very polite. Room could be cleaner. There is no facility to weight the bags which is necessary nowadays

Nice staff; terrible room

First, the hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. My problems were with the room. It was on a half floor the only room on that floor. It had little natural light, overlooking a tiny courtyard. The bathroom had several flies that I killed but more kept coming back in the shower area. Also, noise comes up from the breakfast area from 7:00am. It gets extremely noisy as it carries up the few stairs (with no door) so I was awoken at that time both days without being able to go back to sleep. The room experience was TERRIBLE.

It’s close to the historic district of Athens

Excellent location, friendly staff, room size good and modern with air-conditioning, breakfast is great. There is only one very small lift so if you don't like confined spaces you need to be aware of this. We were on the 8th floor so no choice but to use the lift. Our shower was also very small (although the bathroom itself had enough space), so if you are a larger person be aware. For us, the hotel was perfect in a great part of Athens and close to the wonderful historical sites. It is really great value for money.

Good bang for your buck here. I walked everywhere. The breakfast/bar lady was very friendly and really good at her job!

Flt was delayed and when I messaged the hotel to advise they wouldn’t adjust my stay. Said it was within 24 hrs so not willing to accommodate even though I had another reservation for the end of my trip. Very disappointed with CS

Best part was the breakfast. Especially the woman helping to explain the choices and clean up. She was very nice and friendly Bathroom had some cleanliness issues. Black stuff on walls The elevator was so small that 3 people couldn’t go at same time with luggage. I had an issue and wanted to get the name of the manger and was told I couldn’t have it ? Imagine a manger not willing to talk to a customer. All communication is through the hotel front desk only - dissatisfied

We stayed 1 day after our cruise just to see Greece. The property was close to everything, to plaka bus,parliament building .staff was nice and accomodating,they facilitate our taxi for the next day to leave for the airport.Has free breakfast which was a good plus. Elevator was so small only fit two people,not good for claustrophobic customers Bec our room is in the eighth floor. Bathroom is clean but shower was very small wont fit a regular American. Size person. The halls and room are very small eighther will fit only 3 people,with a single bed,but will be a little tight. Except for that everything was good. We will come back if its just me and my husband. We will have to book another room if we will bri g our 2 teenage sons.

This place has sewer smell in the room when i told the front desk he brought chemical and poured in the bathroom made the room smell worse very old elevator takes 5 minutes to get to level 7 location is good but the condition of the room its very bad

Awesome hotel. Very clean, nice staff and great breakfast included. It is also located near the sights. We walked to the grand Bazaar.

LOVERLY little hotel. Perfectly placed near Ernie, Plaka, Monistiraki, and Psiri. Right across the street are two nice restaurants and a nice little ice cream place (get the fig ice cream **chef's kiss**). There were a few reviews earlier that said there was not a place to sit & eat breakfast... they've changed that. It's a LOVELY little sitting place and the breakfast is DELICIOUS!!!! The lady who runs the thing is SUPER helpful [kept offering more stuff to me even though I kept saying "no". This is NOT a complaint :)]. My ONLY complaint... I bought a balcony room but was told they can't guarantee a balcony (even though that was what I paid for). I did get the balcony room a couple days later when one came available. So it all worked out! Overall! Would gladly come back to this place!

This is a gem in Athens! So glad I went with the reviews. Christof at the front desk and ladies at the breakfast area was fantastic. I traveled solo and was so worried but they made me feel at home and gave me recommendations where to go and how. The best part is take bus 95 from airport and this is like 2 minutes walk straight down. Great place I would come back for sure !

Excellent, clean and friendly hotel in the centre

Although I regularly stay in Athens, this was my first visit to the Hotel Pan. I booked a special deal with Hotels.com and it was excellent. Superb location close to Syntagma Square as I needed to catch the airport bus early the next morning. Excellent, quick check in and a clean, very comfortable room. Thank you. I would recommend Hotel Pan and will book again in the future.

Very convenient to everything. The restaurant across the street is excellent. Complimentary breakfast everyday with deli meats, boiled egg, juices, mini spinach pies, cereal and milk. The staff was great. A 10 minute walk to other food places from fine dining to fast food. Lots of taxis curbside.

Great location by Monstraki & Plaka neighborhoods. Awesome restaurant right across the street. Near Syntagma Metro. Nice breakfast & lots of bathroom supplies for you.

Such a cute little place! The staff was amazing and super helpful, and the location was literally perfect. Right in the plaka, close to all the shops and right down the street from the Syntagma metro station. Walking distance of almost everything worth seeing. Highly recommend! For being on such a busy street, little to no noise and couldn't hear anything from other units either.

We were delighted with our stay at The Pan Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently situated, just 100 metres from Syntagma Square and the airport bus. It is also on the edge of the main tourist area, giving your easy access to the Acropolis and other sites. Hotel staff very friendly and room comfortable with air conditioning not too noisy, blackout curtains and effective double glazing which cut out the street noise. Highly recommended!

Incredibly friendly staff. Spacious rooms with plenty of storage. The mini-fridge was nice to have. Fantastic location - only about 1-2 block walk to Syntagma Square/Parliament building in one direction...shopping/dining (all around), Plaka in another direction. Everything you need is here!

Convenient location, friendly staff. Beds were a little too soft/worn and the bathroom needed updating. Overall, it was fine and the a/c worked well during the very hot days we were there.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They all spoke English which was great because we needed help setting up taxis. The hotel location is perfect-- within walking distance of the two main squares and very easy metro access. The property is surrounded by wonderful restaurants. Would absolutely stay again.
