Quiet, clean with friendly staff

This hotel is great for a short stay. It is a few short minutes to or from the airport.

Perfect for proximity to Montego Bay airport a night before flying out, lovely little pool for a last dip before leaving the island. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There was a very steep climb to the guesthouse. The front desk staff was not very friendly. The property was quite old and looked abandoned. The pool was filthy. The water pressure in the shower was low. I couldn’t wait to leave. I definitely won’t be back.

Needs maintenance looks like it was once a nice hotel but this is not the staff since they tried but it just needs a face lift inside out....

I chose this guest house instead if all inclusive, because I wanted to spend money for the activities rather than the luxurious hotels. Actually it was the right decision. The staff was very friendly and the location was convenient, just a walking distance from the Hip Strip. The only issue was that there was no hot water on the shower.

Very close to the airport and town. Staff were great. The pool is very nice. You have private bathroom and bedroom, shared living room and great wifi as well. Great price, very old building but clean and yard is very nice with beautiful plants.

Great stopover for the night, great pool & deck

Wonderful staff, both Marilyn & Rachel (I hope I got that right, memory isn't so good at my age, lol), very friendly. The place was convenient from the airport, super clean room, good a/c & bed & had a very relaxing and clean pool & deck area with just a little view of Montego Bay. Definitely a great stay except be aware it sits on a steep hill so walking down or up from the main road - especially at night isn't for the faint of heart or stamina! LOL!!

House keeping was horrible. No one change the sheets are 5 day stay. No one cleaned the bath room. Just was given fresh towels and that was not given everyday

Terrible

Far from food. Unwalkable because on a steep hill so be prepared to pay for expensive taxis every time you want to leave . Room had frig which was nice but saw a big roach and checked out early. Area gates are locked from inside with a padlock and freaked me out until I realized I had a key to it. Staff was nice, and grounds were nice. Room was ok for the price .

The hotel photos didn't look like the same, the hotel is actually very small and run down. The front desk is all it really is a desk, the security isn't the best. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was very small and awkward, to the point the sink was behind the door. The room did have a/c that was plus, but then the circuit kept tripping so the a/c shut off. Then the television channels re not what we expected, and was too nervous to search for channels due to everything looking like it cost. The location of this hotel was great. The view was fabulous. You can see the airport and the ocean from a small walk. The staff was ok, not too friendly but just enough to do their job.

Wonderful staff

Pros: Front desk was friendly, sheets and towels clean, close to airport. Cons: Walls very thin. Door to adjoining room only secured with a small latch. Safe didn’t seem to be working. No instructions for the “free wifi” given. Room was tired looking and not very clean. “airport shuttle” means there may or may not be a driver available.

The staff was friendly (specially the front desk) and very helpful, nice clean pool, beautiful garden, the room was very spacious and confortable with all amenities necessary. The place is quiet and the price is excellent. I will definitely recommend it!

We only slept in the place. Got in late at night and left early in the morning. Property is very dated and in need of some repairs.

They didnt have any accomidations for me and my family. The place was dark and hard to find. No one answered the phone when we called 4 times to get directioms.

Good location, friendly check in, decent pool. Rooms need cleaning and kitchens don't have any dishes you would want to touch. You have to unlock padlocks on gates just to get to your room which is annoying, but standard in Jamaica if you're not in a resort. They take a key deposit, and it looked like someone might be living in at least one of the rooms. The place would be perfect if the price was a little lower, and properly matched the value you are getting.

Friendly staff, Property is clean. Mini fridge in common area doesn't work and no Television. Where Property is situated is on top of a steep hill, if you don't drive, it's difficult to climb up.

Miss Dorris is VERY NICE…We arrived while storming and she did not want us to have to walk in the rain and she helped with an umbrella but we were ok 👍 The room is very secure but be prepared for with your own food or beverages. DO NOT TAKE A TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT. Call Amstar and you will be safe ❤️ The TAXI ripped is off. If your phone doesn’t work in the airport go to information first! Don’t go to the taxi podium! ❤️ Again miss Dorris is very sweet and her place is VERY safe!

AC was great. Wish they had a small bottle of water to welcome guests. Kettle but no complimentary tea bags. Would be nice to have complimentary tea bags. Overall I would stay there again.

The location was very close to the airport and for the price I couldn't ask for much more.

The facility was ok. I was attracted to the large kitchen in the photo but the stove doesn't work and hardly anything there to use, i.e, silverware etc. There was no WiFi as advertised. However the host was pleasant and helpful.

This site was nice with a at home feel. They don't offer breakfast witch was a bummer for me because I have to eat something by 6am. The place is clean and quiet except for natures noises...

Guesthouse Near the MoBay Airport

While this place was clean, it needed a few little touches like a kitchen towel, at least a basic set of dishes/cutlery (even if they charge a deposit, like they do for the key), and more consistent water pressure for flushing the toilet. It was nice to be close to the airport for our departure.

Cool and cozy - 3min from MBJ airport

Nice spacious room, it was clean and the AC on. Check-in was fast and smooth, at the reception. Poolside views are a plus. I just wish the rooftop patio was accessible as it is shown in the pictures. Proximity to the airport and Sunset beach is a plus.

Place is a lil tired. 2 bedroom2bath apartment is spacious. AC only bingo bedrooms. Best deal for the money. Views, pool, staff are all fantastic!!

Was part of a longer trip

There was nothing i like about the property the receptionist was not friendly ask her what her nane was she refuse to tell us, the bathroom and toilet bowl has mold, the kitchen sink was dirty the fan in the living room didn't work the maids clean the room and did sweep or mop it the fridge was rusty and dirty there was a kettle in the kitchen, it was very dirty i had to buy one to use, the face basin in the bathroom had mold too, i would not recommend anyone to stay there the bed was so uncomfortable it give me pain in my back, i took pictures to back up just incase.

It was comfortable. I only wish it had cooking facility.

Ok stay

The property is beautiful and lovely view. The suite was pretty large and staff was friendly. Excellent breakfast and communication. Water was warm. Refridgerator needs to change. A new one needs to ne put in the suite. Has rust and leaking water. More lighting in the living area. The bed was too hard for me. Maybe some people like a hard bed but i cant do hard beds. By the last night of my stay, i wouldnt have been able to spend another night. My back was hurting me. But i didn't ask for a matress topper. Maybe if i had asked they prob would have provided it. They would need a soft mattress topper incase someone cannot sleep on a hard matress. They also need bigger pillows. Those little pillows looks like travel pillows. The ones online looks bigger than what i actually got. The pictures of the suite i was in, looks alot better online than in person. I will say that my stay was average, 7 out of 10.

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel the staff was absolutely amazing this is a perfect place if you want to be around lots of greenery it's absolutely a great location close to the Hip Strip and the airport highly recommend

Staff is AMAZING, and that’s the only good part

The staff here is absolutely amazing. Every last one of them are wonderful. Alas that’s the only positive about the place. Shower knob didn’t work, Wi-Fi only works outside the room, mold in the shower window as you can see in the pic, the breakfast they offer is actually a restaurant that’s down a hill from them and isn’t on site so you have to go down there to get it . The views in the pics are from the rooms on the top floor only. The place is in dire need of updating as it’s very dark in there. I feel bad for the employees in there because they are truly amazing people that deserve better than the place itself.

Absolutely nothing,I did not spend one night there the place is a dump.it smell like old clothes,the bedroom looks terrible,the staff member i spoke with had no clue. No tv in the bedroom and a little 32 inc.in the community area that you will have to take turns watching. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy 😤 😒 😑 😐 😕 🙄 😤 😒 😑 😐

I stayed here in February two days the staff they had were very friendly even thou the property is not the best then were so pleasant I was looking forward to this trip when I got there these are new people they were not welcoming at all I am someone who never stay at any hotel or guest house and leave without leaving a tip but this time I could not bring my self to tipping them secondly my room was adjacent to the kitchen with a window and they were frying fish that was all the room smell off the entire night.This place is close to the airport so I like staying there it just need a bit of make over and staff that know how to represent there job well

I love the exterior of the property the plants, the pool snd how Serene the property is. Base on the photos posted on the website i was a bit disappointed. There were alot of mosquitoes in my room i was bitten all over, tje the humongous roaches in the shower and bathroom area was a big turn-off for me and the AC dripping on our bed was it for me.

Hot water took 20 mins to heat. Delayed my time of sleep

I felt like I was spending the night at someone’s old stuffy apartment. No microwave, no coffee maker. The lights were dim, floors were old, the cabinets old, the furniture old and I think that’s what made it so stuffy and dusty along with the lights being so dim. I didn’t sleep all night I just wanted morning to come as soon as possible to get out. It didn’t feel like vacation being there and the owner stays on the premises and that says a lot all by itself. All that being said, the pool was very nice although the ladder to get out of the deep end is missing a step.

The view is great and the staff is awesome! It's quite but the pool was unavailable and it was the main reason to visit,hence overall it defeated the completion of a great stay.

Very quiet with nice private balcony overlooking the pool and the Caribbean. Roomy one bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Walking distance to hip strip, dead end beach and Doctors Cave Beach. Friendly staff that respects your privacy.

I enjoyed the palm view resort it was close to the beach and airport and restaurants. I would recommend for my friends. Clean bed, clean sheets, Good Shower, and nice pool.

About my experience at this place it is very nice quiet and they keep the place clean and most of all i am comfortable staying there because they have security at the gate

This property is about a 10 minute walk to the airport (hence why we picked it). Well maintained grounds and pool. The room was clean and the A/C worked, however very outdated.

Overpriced. No amenities at all. Located in isolated place. Entrance is fenced with iron bar and locked 24/7 and every guest is provided key to open when moving in and out. Very strange hotel. Unfriendly staff. Don't stay.

Reception women was not friendly when I arrived, felt like I was bothering her by checking in. A different women did the check out and was nice. The place itself is simple, I only picked it as it was closed to the airport and I had an early flight. Internet was good.

Close proximity to the main airport, facility for an an airport pickup, warm reception by the owner Doris, friendly and attentive to visitors needs. Security provided 24 hours and plenty of parking spaces too. Very comfortable beds, huge sitting rooms, self-contained kitchens and a sparkling pool! I totally had a peace of mind and I’m looking forward to making another booking with them in the future!

I landed in Montego Bay airport I rented a car. I drove to the hotel to check in to my dismay when I spoke to to agent at hotel. She says that they were no rooms I was shock I am visitor to the island I had no where to go ,the agent at hotel say. Orbitz should have never book the hotel. Because they close down the booking because they are out of rooms ..I left the property and drive and for an hours everywhere I go were super expensive or sold out I went back on orbitz site and book a room for an expensive price last minute would you believe this now orbitz or the hotel has to refund me and also credit me for the hotel I had to book for an expensive and higher rate last minute that is not right I should never have to go through this , please get back to me on this matter

This property wasn’t a good idea but you live and learn the charge 15.00 dollars to to the airport no shuttle and the kitchen was filthy also the hold on to 20 dollars for key deposit.the location wasn’t to bad

Very out dated place, short walk to shops and margaritaville. Very old AC Unit. Either you had to turn it off or on. Power would shut off here and there.

WiFi only available in parking lot, so prepare for that. A short walk down the hill is Toby's, which is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- try the burgers!

it is a wonderful place to stay very relaxing and sweet the only thing is you can hear the planes land and take off if you're ok with a bit of plane noise then this is the place very close to the airport and down town montego bay
