decent hotel close to airport
Great for staying close to the airport
Pretty Comfy
The location is a bit off the main road, which is nice as that means a bit away from the constant beeps and miscellaneous traffic noise of the city. The room was comfortable with strong AC and a nice balcony sitting area. I had room service which was a good mix of SE Asian dishes at a reasonable price. My only gripe is the shower design is a bit poor. The head wasn't really adjustable and tended to flip up on its own weight so every thirty seconds or so you'd just get blasted in the face, and send water out the back of the unclosable curtain. So a lot of water gets on the bathroom floor. The pool seemed nice but there didn't seem to be a number of spa services. Overall its a comfortable, cheap little hotel close to the airport and makes a nice base of operations, especially for travel days.
Only stayed overnight. Did not have time to explore. However, room was clean and air conditioning was good
Located outside the city in a secluded area. Very clean and quiet and full of greeneries. The staffs are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, spacious and tidy. And love the decor. Food is great, too. Highly recommended.
We love to stay here!
Awesome hotel with great pool!
Oasis near airport
This is the best place I stayed in Myanmar. An oasis!
This is a great hotel and totally worth what they charge. I come to Myanmar every year and this is where I stay every time. The staff is AMAZING!!!
Perfect for a sleep between flights!
I rented a room just for a few hours while I waited for my flight the next morning. The staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable - arranging pickup and drop off and even packing me a breakfast to eat at the airport. A bit of an older hotel with basic rooms, but a perfect place to stay to be close to the airport.
Wonderful place to stay. Really nice and quite. The food is great as well. Great staff and always friendly. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay in Yangon. Close to the airport as well.
Nicest most helpful staff, room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was great!
Very comfortable hotel for overnight stay
Enjoyed our overnight stay. Used the spa for manicure and pedicure. Lunched by the pool. Dinner in the restaurant. All very good. Staff very helpful.
Great place to stay
I have stayed at Palm Springs Resort two years in a row and plan to stay there every year. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the people who work there are fantastic.
I really like the resort. The staff are so friend. They are superb. The room is acceptable with the price I sent.It was cleaned properly for the next day.Only bad experience was with the mosquitoes.I wanted to spend time with my relatives beside the nice looking pool.Howver,we couldn’t even sit more than 5 minutes because thousands and thousands of mosquitoes were trying to attack us.So e moved to the restaurant.
overall
Nice place if you want to be close to the airport. The city is a distance away.
Very nice hotel and the service is excellent. The staff is top notch and very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yangon.
Tranquility and comfort in a quiet location
Great place to stay in a quieter part of Yangon. Staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Comfortable contemporary rooms and lovely peaceful pool area. My second stay and I'll be back again.
Amazing Service at a nice little hotel
We stayed there for less than a day; we had a 1am flight from Yangon and had stayed the previous two nights at The Strand in downtown Yangon but wanted a place to rest near the airport for a couple of hours before the flight without paying the $300+ a night at the Strand. Of all our Myanmar hotel stays, all others being priced at least twice the cost of this one, this had by far the most genuine approach to service. The staff really went above and beyond; the food at the little restaurant was very good and the SPA had prices at a fraction of what was asked elsewhere. The room we had (we only booked a basic room since the idea was a little pool time for the 7 year old, a nap before the flight and a possible SPA visit for my wife) was a normal (I think called Deluxe) room, but it was spacious, a roll-in bed was only $30 (as opposed to 4 times that in the hotel in Bagan); the bathroom was functional and we felt we got very good value for money. The hotel is near the airport - which sort of means it's not near anything else most people care for in Yangon and while taxis are cheap and plentiful, traffic can be slow and you might lose some time going to places from this hotel. Wifi wasn't superfast, but more reliable than at some other hotels Myanmar
10 minutes from the airport.
The grounds are lush and secluded, off the main road. The staff was helpful and polite making our stay a pleasant experience. My wife and I were there five nights and were well cared for. The hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport so the occasional jet noise was noticeable at times.
Excellent service from staff. Very eager to help to ensure comfortable stay.
Excellent Place to Stay
This was my first time staying at the Palm Springs Resort. If my future stays are as good as my last I will stay there from now on. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. One of the desk clerks helped me retrieve a laptop computer that I left on the airplane. She called the airline and put me in touch with the right person. The breakfasts are amazing and restaurant staff that treat you like royalty. This is a great place to stay!
Great hotel and value
I have been to Myanmar 11 times and this is my favorite hotel. Super clean, super comfortable, and super staff. I'll be back for sure!!!
exceeded expectations

Ok for a 1 night stay
Ok for a 1 night stay reasonably close to the airport for an early departure, but relatively expensive for this standard of accommodation. Friendly staff and a decent restaurant. Free wifi but a bit slow.
Great Access to Yangon Airport
We had a short half day in Yangon so had a guide and car for sightseeing . We had a 6.15 am flight and you only need to leave the hotel at 5 am as it is a 10 min drive at that hour and ground staff only start the check in after 5 am. zThe hotel provided a breakfast box of a nice sandwich and a seperate cut fruit box which was great for the early start we had as we reached the airport 2 hrs ahead of our flight .
Close to the airport
I had to leave the hotel at 0630 because the flight for Nyaung U (Bagan) was 0800. It is just c.a. 10 min by taxi from the hotel. The staffs are very kind and you don't need to mind the comnunication with their fluent English. Taxi fare to Sule Bagoda is 7,000 kyat (c.a. 6 USD).
Perfect for overnight transit in Yangon
Small hotel with friendly staff very close to Yangon airport, good for overnight transit. The trip downtown takes 30-45 minutes
Close to airport
Good for a brief stay to catch flught.
After a week traveling around Myanmar, I wanted a relaxing final day/night in Yangon. This hotel was lovely - clean, spacious room and a relaxing pool.
Quiet Resort hotel on out-skirts of Yangon.
Lovely resort hotel with good facilities; pool, breakfast, wifi. etc. Situated on the out-skirts of Yangon, so need to consider this when travelling into the town center.
A hidden gem
A beautiful hotel with a great pool , you feel like you are on an island in the Caribbean . The restaurant has great food also and service is excellent . The only complaint we had was that the beds are too hard ! Like sleeping on the floor . But otherwise it was a great value for the money , and close to the airport also.
Good airport location
Was only there for one night. Was a comfortable place to stay close to the airport.
Excellent fir convenience to airport
If you want a place close to the airport for an early departure this is very convenient. It is about an hour from downtown Yangon in rush hour traffic though and most taxi drivers cannot find it easily! The staff are very gracious and helpful.
A very comfortable stay
We chose this as a base to relax between Siem Reap & Bagan, and again between Bagan & Bangkok. This was the nicest hotel on our 3 week trip, as we are more than backpackers & less than resort travelers. Yangon is relatively pricy & not a place to spend a lot of time, as the city is very dirty, but the main pagoda area is amazing! The staff was very polite & helpful. They made travel arrangements for us & let us stay in the pool area until our plane reservations in the late afternoon.
Great hotel and staff
Top hotel. We stay in many on our travels and this one was fantastic. The staff are outstanding and combine friendliness with efficiency and calm. The pool area is lovely with well tended gardens and free water brought to you without asking. Breakfast was very good also as were the evening meals but these were top end on price. Probably 30% more than you would expect to pay in a hotel like this in Asia. That said we enjoyed our stay and have already rebooked for our return to Yangon before our onward flight
convenient to airport
The staff was extremely helpful and this hotel is a nice oasis near the airport
Oasis in the middle of busy Yangon
amazing hotel! A try oasis in busy Yangon. This hotel is amazing! Clean, with gorgeous bathrooms and big rooms. The staff is very helpful rushing to greet you and help you either luggage. The manager welcomes you and shows you around his gorgeous hotel. On top of that is only 5 minutes away from the airport so perfect to catch an early flight. The breakfast by the local let pool area is relaxing and with plenty of options to eat.
Clean hotel and attentive staff close to airport
Excellent location very close to the airport. Hotel is clean - seems to have been recently refurbished. Breakfast had a good selection and delicious. Staff were extremely attentive. Excellent deal!
Quiet, comfortable and close to the airport
Very helpful staff
Smuk have med relativ stor swimmingpool. CNN. Alternative restauranter i nærheden kræver 10 min gang. Grab tjenesten (taxi) meget velfungerende i Yangon. Ventede max. tre minutter.
空港近くで、町から遠くちょっと不便、タクシー代が安いので問題ないが、施設自体は料金の割りにはいいかな! スタッフはとても親切、両替所が近くににない、あっても日本円は断られる、UD$は銀行でも変えてくれる。
staff are very kind. poor breakfast.
Pricy services
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. All in all satisfied, however room service, spa, laundry and other services are paid in USD and equivelant to western prices which is redicoulous. My laundry bill was 87 usd, my beer 5 usd and a clubsandwich is 10 usd. Too expensive
Clean hotel close to the airport
I stayed there one night after an arrival in Yangon at late night and my flight next day was very early. Convenient for people who need to stay close to the airport. The staffs were helpful, although their English was bit limited for communication they were friendly and nice. As my flight was very early in the morning, they packed me a breakfast (you can choose either sandwich or fried rice I think) and it was ready when I was checking out the hotel. The room was spacious enough, clean, and well maintained. I felt the transfer service between airport and the hotel was too expensive. If you request the hotel, it costs 10 USD, which I paid to go to the city center of Yangon the other day. It actually costs about 2-3 USD from the hotel to the airport, so I don't recommend to use the transfer service offered by the hotel. Just use a taxi.
