Wonderful residence and great host. We stayed in suite number 5 that has a 2 bedrooms, a main living room and a wonderful terrace. The breakfast is served in the living room. Make sure you close the door of the bedroom as staff will come in early to prepare breakfast! Terrific location

It was a most amazing experience. A real palace, with the real owner of it, elegant, with a lot of history, huge, in the middle of the Old City. Breakfast was served in the apartment itself, all delicious and fresh. Francesca and Jose were extraordinary! In particular, on the last day, he drove us and the luggage out of the old city to be able to reach our car.

Staying in Palazzo Sambiasi was a wonderful experience. We had 2 large, beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms, plus a huge functional terrace. Francesca and her husband were lovely, gracious and helpful hosts. Breakfast was sumptuous, with different regional specialties every morning. I highly recommend Palazzo Sambiasi!

TravellerThe property is amazing, true experience of living in a Palazzo. The apartment is huge, lovely large terrace to enjoy the outdoors. A wonderful breakfast, those chocolate coated figs were amazing. Leece is right outside the door, wonderful place to vist.

If you have family who were kind enough to invite you to stay with them in their palazzo, that’s what staying in the palazzo Sambiasso is like. We stayed in a very large apt. in the heart of the old city of Lecce. Easy walking distance to historic sites, shops and restaurants. It’s furnished with beautiful family heirlooms. Francesca and Jose are the kindest of people and very gracious hosts. Breakfast was just beautiful. If you want a modern hotel, this is not it. This is a very unique, old world experience with great charm.

This is an actual Palace with family history from the 16th century. Beautiful, extremely large accommodations. Plus, a full terrace. In the center of Leece and very quiet. Owners are amazing and provided a beautiful breakfast in an elegant environment. A MUST RETURN visit.
TravellerFrancesca and Cose were excellent hosts. They picked us up at the train station and then brought us to the Palazzo. We had a very large two-bedroom suite filled with antiques and interesting family portraits. Each morning they provided us with a customized breakfast (for an additional price). Francesca also introducted us to a very good guide who showed us several cities in Puglia. Palazzo Sambiasi is extremely well located in the historic area of Lecce. It is easy walking distance to all of Lecce's baroque churches plus the Roman amplitheatre and theatre. This place was amazing. Our very own apartment in a palace. Our hostess, Francesca was very accommodating. The location is perfect for sightseeing in the old town. Only a five minute walk to the Duomo and all the shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place.
