It feel like you’re staying in a historical home in this hotel. The hotel staff was amazingly accommodating and helpful. The room was lovely, and pretty quiet. In the centre of the old city but away from all the noise. A short walk away from the beach and museums. Lovely stay!
This is a gem
Fantastic Hotel
This was a really fantastic hotel, highly recommended. Great service, fantastic room in a beautiful old Venetian house. The owners were even kind enough to provide an early breakfast when we informed them we were departing early for a flight on the morning we checked-out. Really great stay.
In the core of historical City
If you want to be in an old venetian house filled with interesting features and antiques, this is the place to be. Also very close to the harbor and restaurants.
Location is good! Hotel is old, but comfortable!
The team was wonderful- friendly and helpful and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the bathroom. There is no shower which we found challenging and feel that such an option should exist. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was delicious and of course the location is fabulous.
Quaint little place, with beautiful features. Personable staff. It's in the old town area, so easiest for walking all around, but not along the beach strip. Parking only available in public lots with a bit of a walk. No elevator so its much easier if you travel light and don't mind lots of stairs. We went in late October...off season, so dining wasn't open besides breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, with several local Greek options. I really enjoyed it
Charming boutique hotel. Makes you feel right at home in the old town with the comfort and reliability of a hotel. Lovely central courtyard with a mosaic pool. ALL the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in skylit traditional restaurant. Located right next to main attractions. Paid parking is nearby (the lot overlooking the sea is cheapest). Supermarket a minute away.
Fantastic location! Excellent service from all staff. Room was a little dusty and bathroom lacks full shower facilities. Other than that, this is a historic building in an absolutely fabulous location with all that you could want in a very short walking distance! I’d definitely stay there again!
We loved it! No shower...that needs update. Wonderful restaurant at hotel
Lovely place
The hotel has been very nicely restored . The room we had was very spacious with a sitting area downstairs and the bed on a Mezzanine floor. We had the quiet side of the hotel , and friends had a bit more noise from the street on the other side. Very nice staff and very good breakfast
The property was in a good location. My room was on the top floor and the bedroom was up another level to the living area and bathroom which was inconvenient. The pool is a lot smaller than appears in the photos - more the size of a spa. The male on reception could have been a lot more friendly. Would not stay there again.
Charming hotel in the old town
What a lovely little spot to stay! It’s just on the edge of the old town, so only a short walk from parking. The staff were very helpful with tips - including for a great restaurant. Some aspects are a bit older in style - eg the bathrooms - bit that’s what you expect in a hotel in a historic building, and everything was very clean. Our room was also very quiet, with heavy curtains to block out the morning light.
Such a unique stay. From the warm greeting at check in to the beautiful hotel we had an amazing stay. Fantastic location to walk around old town or to the beach for a day. The gentleman at check in gave us some great options for day trips as well. The hotel itself exceeded what we expected. Only issue was we didn’t have a shower as only a bath in the room and at 6”5 it was a little tight. Minor problem as we enjoyed our stay so much. Rethymno is a must visit in Crete and palazzino di corina is a great place to stay. Thanks so much for the warm hospitality .
The hotel is in a great location right in the old city surrounded by little restaurants and shops, everything walking distance. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with clean rooms and lovely little details like the pool in the courtyard. The host was so helpful and thoughtful and really made my stay easy
Property is well located but needs updates. The Mattress was hard and they need to change urgently the hairdryers. Our room was the Athena and the hot tub was broken.. The receptionist was nice..
A beautiful little hotel in a great location. Staff were professional but very welcoming. Attached to an excellent restaurant with an interesting list of Cretan, Greek, and international wines. Only criticism - soft bed and rather basic shower.
This property was our second choice after having to cancel our 2020 and 2021 trips to Crete for obvious. We think we really lucked out - the hotel decor has an authentic “old” feel to it, which is probably due to great interior design, but looks natural! It has retained all the Venetian features and you are literally stepping back int time in this converted palazzino. We had a great welcome from Apostolis, the General Manager (Apostolis went above and beyond as we departed when he dragged our suitcases through the streets because our booked taxi driver decided to refuse to pick us up at the hotel, Apostolis certainly gave him a piece of his mind - legend!) Too many staff to name check, but they were all great. John, who was the first member of staff we met and was lovely and friendly throughout, Panayotis, Joanna, and especially the wonderful chambermaids, thank you all for a great stay, if you are in Crete and want Old Town charm, head to the Corina!
Gorgeous hotel. Free parking available on the street just around the corner. Excellent service
Awesome helpful staff!
awesome stay!
From the start the stay was amazing! checking in was simple and pleasant. they showed us where all the nice places were to visit and all the good restaurants were to eat. all the advice lived up to the expectations!! would go back if i ever visit again!
Great stay!
Very friendly staff, room was awesome, breakfast in the morning was good, wifi worked excellent, and it's right in the middle of where you want to be! Loved it here. Will definitely be staying there again if we go back!
Amazing
Absolutely amazing! The room was perfect, very spacious and cozy. for those who love wifi, the signal was extremely good, i never went below the full three bars of signal. The bed was nice, not just a normal hard bed, but i nice touch to the room. The service and greeting upon arrival was exceptional, we were given a map with detailed markings of where to go and what to see, and the gentleman even walked us down the road to show us how to get the a location we were looking for. The breakfast was really good, and not your normal cafeteria style seeting...it was really nice. The restaurant was also very nice. This hotel is a hidden gem, and literally a 3 minute or less walk to the center of Old Town.
The property was extremely lovely. The location and the room were perfect. The restaurant was beautiful and overall everything was very nice. (4/5) However, there was an unfortunate incident. My partner and I were in the hotel buffet line to enjoy breakfast, and the buffet manager accused us of not being hotel guests in front of the whole restaurant. After showing her our key card, she did not seem to get the message and I told her the reservation name and our hotel room, and asked her to go check with the front desk. She came back, and still in front of the whole buffet, told us our room did not come with a complimentary breakfast, and she would need to charge the room 8 euro. That was more than fine with us, especially because that is what we had done every other hotel we stayed at, without being singled out and embarrassed. I believe we were confronted for two reasons: Firstly, because we are young, in our early twenties, and did not fit the mold of the average age of the hotel guests. And secondly, because my girlfriend is of non-Caucasian ethnicity, and we are both very dark skinned, again not the typical guests at the Palazzino Di Cornia. It is unfortunate this happened, because it had not happened to us priorly in Greece, or in a very long time in general. The buffet manager should have asked us to confirm ourselves as hotel guests in a manner much more appropriate considering the setting, and we could have resolved any additional payment happily. Really lovely hotel! Courtyard area is beautiful but very small (there were only two sun loungers), but the hotel wasn’t too busy so this was fine for us! Amazing breakfast buffet and great friendly service. If I’m ever in Rethymno again I’d definitely stay here again.
Lovely
A lovely hotel, perfectly situated in Rethymno. Little pool is charming, rooms lovely, breakfast really good. Only comment is the restaurant smells waft in the corridors and after a while can become a bit sickly
A beautiful hotel in the heart of old town Retymno. Highly recommend.
Needs updating
We only stayed one night & dodnt need more. The place is charming & the public areas of the hotel were great. The room wasn’t. Run down furniture, ants in the bathroom all over our stuff & for us a climb down from the bedroom to get to a bathroom. It was quiet & A/c worked well.
Simply great
A really nice unique charecter filled hotel
The location is just perfect! in the center of Rethymnon, in walking distance to all sightseeing and shops/ boutiques. The rooms are charming with an old scent - very nicely preserved and decorated. You would think you are in a museum. The restaurant is also very good - and with a plenty of choice: choose wisely;-) Our trip was great!
I have nothing to add qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
exclellent location, the staff very kind and helpful
Great hotel in an old venetian palazzo, very nice staff, the breakfast was good and had various options and more importantly the hotel is located in the heart of the old town whilst being very quiet which was perfect ! Would definitely go again
Kindly
Very helpful during check-in. Awesome stay. Not the quietest, but not that bad. We loved it there.
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Staff were exceptional - kind, welcoming, informative, attentive. It was an absolute joy to be there. Location is phenomenal - one minute walk to the old town, but out of the busy area. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again when we come back to Crete.
Behulpzaam personeel.
Cozy hotel
Small hotel with old fashioned stile, this made it cozy. The location was excellent in old town, close to the Venice harbor and the entrance to the fortress. We didn’t hear anything from the street or from neighbors. So we slept very well in Rethymno. The hotel had a restaurant.
Smagfuldt!
Palazzino Di Corina was the absolute highlight of our entire journey! The place is just so lovely & beautiful! And the people running / managing this house are the greatest: They make you feel so welcomed, you feel immediately like at home! We didn't want to leave and are already thinking about when we will be able to come back here.
Exceptional
Palazzino di Corina is a beautifully restored house in the heart of the old town of Rethymnon. Ideally located close to the main beaches, the Fortezza, and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, and exquisitely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast buffet was amazing, with fresh omelettes and crepes. I would defiitely go again.
Hyggeligt hotel
Hyggeligt hotel med venlige personale. Gå afstand til restauranter, shopping m.m. Parkerings muligheder i nærheden.
Ideal old town stay.
Most helpful and welcoming staff. Perfectly situated and lovely and clean.
