This was one of the best stays we have ever had in a hotel, from the beautiful location to beautiful hotel and the best staff we have ever come across. Can't speak highly enough of the staff

Rachel’s was amazing and very helpful. Attic sweet was perfect and service was impeccable. Concierge went out of their way to get us tickets to the Doges palace and set us up for Gondola rides the following morning. Will definitely suit and stay here again

Beautiful hotel, excellent friendly service, great food and very walkable to local attractions, restaurants and shops.

Hotel is stunning and staff were all amazing. Food was delicious. The only thing to watch out for is they do not allow more than 2 to a room. We had to purchase 2 rooms but weren’t given the option to choose two rooms or a family suite. The family suite was at least $500 more per night than booking 2 rooms.

There is only good things to say about this hotel, walking distance to St Marks. The design is fabulous, comfortable, spotlessly clean. I love the Hamman Suite with not just 1 but 2 balconies.. this hotel will be the reason to revisit Venice

The hotel is beautiful, modern with a unique twist of tradition, staff was amazing, the restaurant is a must to eat at absolutely fantastic, great area for walking and everything is close by, totally enjoyed.

Best hotel experience in Venice!!

Everyone at the hotel was absolutely top notch. From the concierge who helped us with everything at the drop of the hat, to the staff who we now count as friends. Michels, Lukas and Julio! They helped make our trip even more special at every turn. Could recommend the hotel more!!

We booked the deluxe room with a terrace and couldn't have been happier. The terrace was an excellent spot for in-room breakfast (banana pancakes were spectacular!) and for relaxing after miles of walking the city. The one thing that was perhaps a little less than excellent was the bar service (nice bar area, just didn't have a dedicated bartender), although when someone was available he (was always a male) was wonderful. All staff was beyond helpful and provided excellent service, from the minute we arrived until the time they saw us off on the water taxi back to the parking facility. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Birthday Trip

I had an amazing stay here with my girlfriend for her birthday. We received complimentary drinks and snacks upon arrival and were upgraded to the most amazing room. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We would absolutely love to stay here when we return to Venice. 10/10 all round.

Very stylish hotel tucked away in a great location, please do remember to print off the directions as we didn’t but still did manage to find it! Being a small hotel the service was excellent, very personalised and the staff were excellent I would thoroughly recommend it and if I went back to Venice I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Lisa the person who did our check in was super rude and unfrendly once we got into Hotel it was raining a lot and baby wet she didn’t even ask us for towels for Baby or anything just that we missed their Water Taxi which we never found in D where he was suppose to be. Then charging us for Cruits and yogurt in Breakfast when it was included getting their most expensive room in the Hotel how Cheap of their part. Hotel was very nice and most of their employees too just that Lisa that made our stay Horrible and the Manager that try to solve the situation the same as her not understanding us only their money not the guest satisfaction. Never stay there again

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at! Literally I can’t possibly believe the rate that this place is getting and I can’t tell you strongly enough, DO NOT STAY HERE! Completely disgusting, not anywhere near a 5 star, I would say this is a two at best. At best!!!! If you are going to Venice, find any other hotel. This was supposed to be the surprise excellent experience and it was the worst hotel of the entire vacation.

Found the hotel amazing. Big contrast from the exterior traditional Venetian architecture and the interior very modern in a stylish way mirrors sculptures etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Had breakfasts and dinner there. Menu had some different options but very tasty Only grizzle is the lack of promotion of the roof bar. It is a lovely spot but we only came upon it by accident. These people were hosting an International Film Festival and they would not refund my room cancellation five nights prior for two nights on my birthday and I explained that my husband's passport was rejected at JFK for not having 90 days before it expired (it only had 69). We could not enter the country. So basically they kept $2200 of my money and rented the room to someone there for the film festival. So crappy

It’s a great location & a cool place. Somewhat in disrepair, somewhat disorganized, but great staff (except morning waiters) & overall fine place. I expected somewhat more for the kind of place it is.

This isn’t really a 5-star hotel. There are no amenities, and the staff aren’t very knowledgeable. I didn’t enjoy my stay. The “private terrace” isn’t private, as all other guests can see you. Furniture was missing cushions. There is no iron, you must pay to have clothes pressed, which I ended up doing for one night. But I decided to buy detergent and hand wash my own clothing the next day, and when I left them outside to dry, housekeeping brought it all inside wet while I left for the day. Receptionist gave us incorrect information to questions asked and it caused us to change our itinerary. Also, they did absolutely nothing to greet us for our stay celebrating our anniversary. The entire experience was not worth the price at all. I wish I stayed somewhere else. Highly disappointing. I’ve had better service at a 3-star hotel!

Amazing

Great staff, great food, beautiful room. Was well looked after by all at Palazzina Grassi... great location for people who looking for a quieter stay, loved being away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get amongst fellow tourists, all in all a magical stay.( free upgrade ) was well and truly appreciated. Thank you palazzina grassi, you were wonderful x

Perfect for a couple's retreat

Tucked away behind the famous Palazzo Grassi, this is a little gem. Very Stylish but still cozy and a great respite from the hussle and buzzle of Venice. LOve it

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff was amazing and at our service from the moment we arrived. One night they had a party for the film festival so they provided a bottle of champagne to offset any noise disturbance. The food in the restaurant was really good, as was the selection of wine.

Modern design and comforts with a warm feel

Very near two water bus stops is a design forward hotel tucked away from the tourist routin that may not seem of Venice but at the end reflects a great interpretation that is unique like the city itself.

Artsy hotel

I splurged on a room with a terrace. The terrace was beautiful - large as depicted on the website. We enjoyed our continental breakfast out there each morning. It was our first trip to Venice so we really have no basis to compare, but in talking with other travelers about their hotels I think we overpaid for what we received. Spending $600 per night I think we should have gotten a full breakfast and not just bread, juice and coffee. The staff was superb, though. Extremely helpful in every situation. I also think for that kind of money they should have included the cost of the pickup at the train station - which was $85 each way for a five-minute boat ride. So overall I would not recommend it unless you enjoy privacy and like looking at yourself in the mirror. Mirrors mirrors everywhere!!

Great location

Hotel is centrally located. Staff are great. The room is very so so. We were in the attic suite. Again service was impeccable.

Stunning hotel, great location

Loved this hotel, took me ages to find something in Venice that wasn't over the top ostentatious and was modern and white! Our room with the terrace was great, just 2 problems, we were right next to the Krug bar which was very noisy at breakfast, and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was completely collapsed... I had the worst back ache! Disappointing for the money, you at least want a good night sleep when paying more than £400 a night

First Class Hotel

This place was very classy. It was really convenient as it was close to everything we wanted to see. The people running the hotel were very attentive and helped us find what we needed and answered questions about getting around Venice.

Nice hotel with unique style

Friendly staff, great location, delicious breakfast, very unique decor that can be a positive or a negative depending on if it's your style. It wasn't my style and I found the shabby funky style a little off putting but other than that, it was a nice hotel.

Nice hotel but not conveniently located

Overall hotel is very nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Rooms are average sized but extremely clean. Inconvenient to get into and out of and a bit off the beaten path, was a pain to locate and no one we asked (locals) seemed to be familiar with the hotel so no help with directions.

Stylish hotel, superb service

We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco after a terrible flight. Our baggage concerns were alleviated by the staff and throughout our stay, they were tremendous. Attentive and professional.

Romantic secluded boutique hotel

Just far enough away to be peaceful and close enough to to be in the heart of it, tastefully done. Venice is a must

Christmas in Venice!

Our family of four recently stayed at Palazzina G several days the week of Christmas 2015. We had a breathtakingly beautiful room overlooking the grand canal. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a special holiday - from the front desk staff to housekeeping. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, excellent staff, bar and restaurant, let down by lack of functioning facilities in basic room, eg, tv and music. Be aware of adjacent building works which start at 9.00 with drilling! Disturbing your early morning peace. Overall pleasant stay.

Uber cool hotel on grande canal ideal location

We visited without children for a grown up long weekend and weren't disappointed. Great location and very quiet. Next to vaporetto stop so very easy to access everywhere although much of this we did on foot as the hotel is 10 mins from St Marks square and the Academia. Rooms small but spotless. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food.The staff could have been better informed when I needed to get prescription ( obtained very straightforwardly from First Aid counter in St Mark's square ) but overall were friendly and efficient.

Beautiful, modern, attentive staff

Incredibly modern and great design. Over the top bathroom and room. 100% linen sheets. Very nice willing to please staff. Was during the film fest so lots of in the know people and we were allowed to hang out in the lobby with them.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful experience at the Palazzina G hotel. They noticed my birthday when we checked in and surprised me with a small birthday cake. Made for an even nicer stay. We would definitely go back again and highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Fantastic hotel great location

Amazing interior and a beautiful building an Amazing time . Would definitely recommend to my friends . We caught the ferry across from Croatia which took 4 hours but well worth the trip . Stayed in Venice for 2 nights it was fantastic .

Good modern hotel in great location

Really nice boutique hotel in good location. It is close enough to the main attractions but situated in a quite location. Also hotel in close to ferry stop, so easy to get around. However, rooms are quite small.
