This hotel is pretty much on the beach, there’s not direct access but the shortest of walks. You can have a window looking out over the ocean. They have their own restaurant but there’s food choices near by. Some which stay open late (at least in the summer). The bed was comfortable. Though our room was small and when they say small double they mean only 2 people and there were 2 steps to get to the bed which fit wall to wall in the room. Does come with fridge.

Excellent customer service and a nice location

We had a little rocky start a Check in. Despite our best efforts to be proactive, reaching our to the Property over a week in advance, regarding a possible early check in, they read the message but never replied. We were stuck having to wait until the extremely strict 3 pm check in time. Having been awake for over 24 hours at that point, it was grueling. We were also told Breakfast was NOT included in our reservation, when infact it was. Communication could be improved. Once we were able to check in, the rest of the stay was quite nice. PROS: The room was immaculate, newly renovated and very clean. The room was adequately stocked with Shampoo, soap, lotion, shower cap, hair dryer & towels. Coffee, hot water (tea) were also available & stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Located right on the beach and a 3 minute walk from the Train station. The town center was about a 7 minute walk and the restaurants, food, stores and PEOPLE are wonderful. CONS: Pillows were ok, but not horrible. Fridge barely kept items cold, more like mildly chilled. The biggest con was the bathroom sink. Whomever designed the layout should be fired. It is impossible to brush teeth, wash face or do anything except wash your hands. The sink vanity is so narrow that the sink is tucked under the upper shelf and you must turn sideways and even then water gets everywhere. the Design is cute, but not functional at all. Also, I wish there was a full length mirror in the room.

The hotel staff and management were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We had a misunderstanding with our booking, and the manager helped us find the best room for our circumstances. I also had a dental emergency and the staff helped me find a 24 hour emergency dentist! The restaurant Zizo was top notch fine dining and gorgeous ambience! We would absolutely stay here again!!!

Good option to Amsterdam or haarlem when prices rise at peak times, only few minutes walk from the train and bus station. Great views from the 13th floor in the middle of storm ciara!

business trip

i found my stay at the Palace Hotel everything that i had expected. the staff in the bar restaurant/bar were very friendly and helpful.

Relaxing Zandvort

I was on a business trip and based myself in Zandvort for three nights. I found the location ideal for my trip as it was close to where I was working. The location was also ideal as I was able to unwind in the evening with a walk around the beach and the town I would have no problem recommending someone to stay here.

Environmentally too cold even with the air conditioning which was slow to keep the room warm in a short time of stay

How sad

I've stayed here in the past and its been good. Sadly, less so this time. The supplied room bore no resemblance at all to that shown on the Expedia Website. The Hotel is extremely tired, if it were not for the location and great view at breakfast I cannot imagine why anyone would stay here

Hotel very dated and over priced

This hotel is has an amazing Sushi restaurant but the room was overpriced with a view of the parking lot. The hotel is very far from being a palace but more like an apartment building with a few dated room in the back. It was clean and bed was ok and location was superb being close to beach and shops.

The hotel needs updating and a good clean

Dirty carpets, no hair dryer in room, old grubby furniture, not 4 star. 1 star if that. Room had been smoked in and smelt of smoke around the hallways. Misleading representation of property. The only good thing is the location next to the beach and staff are helpful. The breakfast was ok.

An OK hotel at an OK price

A little tired looking now but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. So would recommend if it's in the vacinity you need to stay in - like me!

Pretty much as expected. Not great but perfectly reasonable. Great location, very close to train station. Nice, helpful staff.

Terrible

Hotel is not a best western anymore seems like the quality has gone down! The rooms are ok but not the standard that a 3 star should have! The reception was very rude when we tried to exchange some bills for the vending machines. He did not do it and left us starving and without drinks all night!

this is no 4 star hotel.

Cheap fit-out in room, miserable breakfast, institutional feel and smell in the corridors. Bills itself as a 4 star Best Western but it's no more than a 2 star. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful.

Arrived late Tuesday and no restaurant open. Room small single and payed 140 Euro after they also charged for parking..not stay again in a hurry

Dissapointing

The rooms are tiny. They are merely box rooms. Not for comfort. just a place to spend not more than a night.

Great location..!

Not up to 4-stars services.

My stay was not the perfect one. First suite was almost from one start hotel. Second suite was better but no internet services as advertised and the room services is not as expected and is expensive when requested. I only stayed in this hotel because there were no other options when I did the reservation. One good thing is the resturant people are very nice. The hotel manager is very nice and some of the reciptionists are OK as well.

Auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen und nie wieder. - Frühstücksauswahl war sehr klein und am Wochenende wurde noch weniger geboten! Das einzige Highlight die Pancakemaschine wurde am Wochenende einfach ausgeschaltet! - noch nie so einen schlechten Zimmerservice erlebt. Tassen blieben dreckig, Bett war einfach nur aufgeschüttelt statt richtig gemacht. An Tagen ohne Zimmerservice wurde trotzdem alles gebracht… haben den Sinn von kein Service gewünscht nicht verstanden! - Parkplatz: wie kann es sein, dass NIEMAND rausfahren kann (nach Checkout) und jeder sich nochmal an der Rezeption melden muss?! - Gebäude ist marode und in einem wirklich schlechten Zustand, nur die Zimmer wurden vor einigen Jahren wohl renoviert. - Zimmer sind vollkommen hirnlos renoviert worden. Bad und Schlafzimmer sind ein Raum, Dusche hat ein Milchglas Fenster also kann man nie das Zimmrt abdunkeln und bei Sonne draußen braucht man eine Sonnenbrille zum duschen! Einfach Hirnlos… Alles in allem Katastrophe und nur die Lage zum Bahnhof war gut. Nie wieder…

Fantastisk beliggenhet! Ok hotell! Pinlige utsjekksrutiner. Når man skal sjekke ut må man stå foran resten av køen for utsjekk mens resepsjonisten forlater resepsjonen for å sjekke om rommet er ok før man får sjekke ut. Dette tok 15 lange minutter. Jeg har bodd på hotell 60 døgn dette året, og har aldri vært ute for lignende!

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, Strand und City liegen praktisch vor der Haustüre. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und die Sauberkeit in dem Hotel kann ich nur als schlecht bezeichnen. Das war unser letzter Besuch in diesem Hotel

Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Zimmerausstattung gut, Hotel ist jedoch in die Jahre gekommen, durch das Fenster zieht Luft und es wurde mit eingeklemmten Taschentüchern im Rahmen versucht dicht zu halten. Frühstück für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen. Personal sehr freundlich.

If you have a dog, this hotel is perfect to take your dog with you. They have big rooms and all the neccessary things you need, is there. We had the executive room with the bubble bath, which was amazing! The beach is also very close by.

We hebben genoten vanaf ons balkonuitzicht (16 hoog) over de stad. Kamer was prima, ideaal met de open kast voor koffers, kleding etc.# tip check in de douche bovenaan langs de (behangwand) voor schimmel. Het keuzemenu in t restaurant was fantastisch. Helaas was het ontbijt onder de maat voor de 15€

Keurige accommodatie, uitzicht op de zee en loopafstand van het centrum.

Theoretisch sehr schön, aber frühstückspreis ist überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Sehe wenig Auswahl, dreckiges Geschirr und wo das Frühstück serviert wird ist alles sehr alt und teilweise schäbig. Zimmer waren ok, Tapete hier und da kaputt, etwas Schimmel im Bad und alles sehr hellhörig. Personal dafür mega freundlich ! Parkkosten waren ok, weg zum Strand Bombe 👍

В общем очень понравилась, море, пляж, променада все что хотели было очень хорошо. Что косается отеля не всё идеально, комнату (которая была повышенной категории) получили на 2 этаже без балкона и с видом на парковку, за те деньги что заплатили ожидали лучшего. Уборка в номере так себе, меняли только полотенца остальной уборки не заметили, завтраки скромные но голодные не оставались. Ресторан где был завтрак с шикарным видом на море, красиво сделан но очень грязные кресла. Есть и плюсы и минусы

Voor een nachtje geboekt. Dus hadden niet heel veel nodig. Parkeren was ideaal. Kamer was prima, slechte afwerking in hoekjes/kiertjes en behang in de badkamer maken het soms wat slordig ogen. Ontbijt was en top en douche ook. Ook hadden we lekker uitzicht op zee.

Das Fenster war sehr undicht und es hat gezogen.

Geen vier sterren waardig. Onaardig personeel en heel slecht ontbijt. Jammer!

Kleine kamer met zeezicht. Alles op orde, ontbijt prima verzorgd.

Strandurlaub

Es war so schön direkt am Strand zu sein und einen Ausblick direkt aufs Meer zu haben.Das Zimmer hatte alles was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht.Das Frühstück war vielseitig und die Atmosphäre sehr einladend.Sehr nettes und offenes Personal.Auch mit der Sauberkeit waren wir zufrieden.Die Badewanne mit LED Lichtern und Sprudel war der Hammer ,nur das Wasser hätte etwas heißer sein können aber es gab ja noch die heiße moderne Dusche. Gerne immer wieder

Prima hotel . Ontbijt goed keuze te over. Heerlijke douche. Min puntje kamer met hoog bed , lastig voor oudere. Mischien vermelden. Leuk raam in badkamer naar slaapkamer. Helaas als je het licht snachts aandoet erg veel licht in je bed.

Ich war auf Grund der Bewertungen ehrst etwas skeptisch, zu unrecht wie sich herausgestellt hat. Das Hotel war super, das Zimmer toll das Personal nett. Beim Frühstück hätte etwas mehr Auswahl sein können aber es war voll kommen okay. Komme gerne wieder

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt alles ok. Unsere Zimmer waren recht klein aber sauber. Das Frühstück ist ok, man darf nicht zu viel erwarten. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche in hilfsbereite Personal.

Op zich netjes hier en daar wat onregelmatigheden en wat gedateerd. De vriendelijkheid bij het uitchecken was ver te zoeken, nog niet eens een dag, tot ziens oid.

Vreselijk, zeker geen aanrader uitzicht en plek prima, kleine vieze kamer. allemaal troep onder het bed. Personeel in de ochtend vreselijk en niet hulpvol en klantvriendlijk en dan krijg je ook nog eens extreem hoge extra kosten uit het niets erbij 1/10

Work Meeting in Zandvoort

First of all great location for a hotel, right next to the beautiful Zandvoort beach, couldn't be better. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but it wasn't a particularly good experience - yes we checked in very late in the evening, but nothing was working, wrong rooms assigned and just confusion. The breakfast was very impersonal but available. But if you are looking for a good location - this one is for sure!

The fancy photos of the rooms are very misleading. Stayed in a very normal room that looks nothing like those photos. It was very disappointing though when I asked forna shower cap and was rold thatvthey ran out of them! Overall, the stay was OK. Nothing horribly bad and nothing great either.

We booked a room with airco and got a suite without airco. It’s an old building. The view was splendid, but the suite and balcony weren’t very clean and it was too warm inside the bedroom. We asked for compensation (you expect to get a room with airco for € 295,- a night), but they offered us to give us our money back. So we went back home...

Posh suite right on the beach

I wanted a room with seaview AND balcony, and seemingly only an expensive suite was available. It was way too large just for myself, yet very pleasant to stay there. For such a price though (200+ EUR / night), there were a few things that could be improved. Upon check-in around 12.30 p.m., the front desk immediately told me that 'room wasn't ready" ... before I even gave my name and booking reference!! Insisting a little, they could easily find a room that already was available ... This was a tad unprofessional especially in a still very quiet area, a huge hotel with many rooms in the covid era. Then, both minibar and kitchen fridges were quite old and not cooling well. A tech came but couldn't bring a more recent fridge, saying my room was one of the only ones left not upgraded there ... At last the balcony was very dirty with sea gulls poop, making it impossible to lay there without shoes. Globally however, this was a luxury and very comfortable room with a great view, right on the beach, and close to all Zandvoort got to offer.

Kühlschrank verschnutzt, WC quasi im Zimmer mit Schiebetür Zugang, Hund wird mit 20 EUR berechnet, darf aber nicht ins Resturant.

Sehr schönes frisch renoviertes Zimmer

Wir kamen im Hotel an und wurden herzlichst begrüßt und auch schon erwartet es gab keine Komplikation mit unserer Buchung, als wir unserer Zimmer betreten haben waren wir erst mal begeistert von der Sauberkeit unser Highlight war das Badezimmer das einen jacuzzi beinhaltet hat was wir überhaupt nicht erwartet haben .

Tolle Lage und freundliches Personal beim Einchecken und beim Frühstück. Einrichtung war in Ordnung nur hatte das Zimmer Lkleine Löcher in den Gardinen, der Teppichboden hatte sehr viele kleine und große Flrcken, sodass wir uns vor die Betten Handtücher legen mussten, da ich auf keinen Fall beim aus dem Bett steigen versehentlich mit dem Teppichboden in Berührung kommen wollte. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber und das Bad wurde täglich geputzt. Die Flur mit Laminat zu den Zimmern wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes von 4 Tagen nicht gesaugt oder geputzt. Sie hatten Flecken und es lagen einzelne Pommes herum, die keiner entfernte. Positiv war wirklich die Lage und der eigene Parkplatz des Hotels.

Très bien situé, en face de la gare (5 minutes à pieds) et face à l'arrêt de bus pour aller à la plage ou au centre ville. Personnel accueillant. Chambres spacieuses, propres et calmes. Wifi gratuit dans le chambres qui fonctionne très bien. Grande salle de bain avec douche supplémentaire. Très bon petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix.

Chambres très spacieuses, propres et calmes. Très bon petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Wifi dans les chambres qui fonctionnent très bien. Grande salle de bain avec baignoire et douche en même temps.
