The hotel is nice and central to the city. The wife signal was weak. Quiet and clean and very nice staff

This property is very nice and the staff is exceptional. It is a bit of a walk to the beach

A nice location very close to the Port, the beach and town. Lots of places to eat within a few steps. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only issue we had was that the A/C in our room was not working when we checked in. It took 1 day to get it fixed. Since it was the end of May they had not switched from heating to cooling yet. Everything was fine the next morning.

The hotel was very charming. It is in a great location for walking. We went at a slow time of year, so not a lot happening around us. The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay!

Take a pass on this hotel

The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. Walls and doors are marred with years worth of dirty fingerprints. Carpeting is tired. Clerk who checked us in was slow and demanded that we leave our passports with her so she could enter our information at her leisure. On our second attempt to retrieve our passports, we found the front desk empty and several passports and ID cards lined up on a counter behind the desk unattended. After several attempts to find the clerk, we just took our passports. There is no valet parking (at least during the winter months) and the breakfast is subpar. There are a couple of cereal choices, yogurts that were room temperature, pastries, and no hot foods. I had a hard boiled egg that was rotten and slimy when I peeled the egg.

Great location

Perfect location - sea was a bit poor as the water wasn’t exactly clean. Any the locality of the hotel was a stones throw to the old town where one can eat very well there. Vegan ice cream across the road!

Hotel is a bit dated and tired. Great staff!

The room seems musty and old. The view looked directly into someone's apartment. Breakfast was in basement and it seems "cold war-like"...stark and cold. Breakfast was OK. They just left us underwhelmed with everything except the terrific front desk staff which were really helpful. Another plus was the location was perfect for walking the old town.

A great Hotel

everyone of the Hotel staff we came in contact were just great very helpful provided us with direction and were to eat. They were just very nice people. We would stay there again.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night accommodations and would recommend this hotel to others

Excellent hotel. Very central yet quiet. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Friendly and helpful and very professional. Only down side is no English speaking to chanels and wifi very poor in 4th floor rooms.

Convenient location, good breakfast and free parking makes a must for this charming hotel.

Clean facility and pleasant staff

Okay hotel. Staff very pleasant with limited English but that not a problem. Location okay walkable to old city and beaches. Just late in season for this area. Hotel was clean and nicely maintained. Mattress a little flat/saggy and pillows far from fluffy.

The gentleman at the front desk is very professional & give good recommendations of restaurants. Even let us know that the best Gelateria is just around the corner

We were there off season and had a pleasant experience. Good location, breakfast was nice and staff were helpful and attentive.

Nice outside, cold and dark inside

The exterior was promising, but inside it was dark, no decoration, no carpet. Breakfast in the un heated basement was pathetic.

It's a great place!

Great place. The reception guy was amazing, parked our car and booked our dinner at a great place just down the road. Breakfast was only average but we followed on from a large tour group who had got up early.

Vieste, during Winter

The hotel itself has seen better days, though was best available accommodation in Vieste at the time of our visit. The room was reasonably large and clean, though somewhat stark. The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very basic, just so so. The old city, nearby is atmospheric and very interesting to walk through. Most of the shops and restaurants are closed in Winter (off-season). The Palace Hotel Vieste is potentiallly the best option in town if you are in Vieste during this time of year.

Typical medium quality older hotel

Well maintained and clean older hotel in great location. Room a little stuffy, no cross breeze. Bed could have been more comfortable...breakfast in a basement level room with no windows. Being a beach resort town, would have liked more fresh air. Overall staff friendly and helpful.

Perfect location with attentative services

Location was perfect, very close to old part for dinner and stroll, to the beach (we never felt a need to use shuttle) and the port to take a ferry to Tremiti islands. No shutter for the window but they put temporary black-out cloth to hung on our request and we did have better sleep from the next day. Good selection for breakfast and good advice for restaurants etc. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are around.

Great location. 2 minute walk to Centro Storico. 5 minute walk to nice beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. Only downside is that there are no view rooms if you want 2 beds.

Great value for a beautiful hotel.

Stayed 4 full days. Highly recommend. Run by sweet family who bend over backwards to please you. Completely remodeled into a hotel 7 years ago. Lobby: Beautiful marble everywhere and Murano glass sconces, beautiful sofas & chairs, TV, little tables & chairs. WONDERFUL breakfast every morning included during our stay. Free shuttle to beach associated with hotel, no charge for chair & umbrella. Wifi Internet good in lobby plus they have a lobby computer for guests. We speak no Italian, but 2 hotel clerks, Angela & Francesco, went way above & beyond to help us translate with family visitors. Outstanding service! To get to Vieste, nearest airport is Bari. if you fly into Bari & choose 3-hour bus ride to Vieste, Hotel is 7 blocks from bus stop parking lot.

Spacious & clean accomendations near sea & sites.

We were welcomed by smiling faces and basically anything we asked of them they tried their best to give to us. We came in late and the hotel suggested we use the restaurant on premises, only to find out they had made German fare for guests that were staying there. We were looking forward to an Italian meal, but they could not have been nicer. The head waiter explained each item (which was not in English) and the food was delicious. Angela and Frederico were especially kind. Angela reccomended an area restaurant on our second evening and it was very good as well. Even the maid service was outstanding. We had a wonderful time there and would definitely reccomend it to our friends and family.

Very welcoming hotel!

The hotel was clean and in good decorative order (may have been recently decorated). The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The room was very comfortable, especially the king size bed. It was great to enter a nicely cooled toom after a long and hot journey in the car. Breakfast was fresh, clean and plentiful.

Beautiful, subtle, newly decorated hotel

Palace Hotel Vieste has recently enjoyed a full revamping, done with excellent taste. The hotel is spotless and the staff are efficient and fluent in English (which is fairly rare in Vieste). The hotel restaurant is excellent and serves a delicious 4-course dinner for 25 euro. (Also serves lunch, which I did not try.)

Hotel in centro camera spaziosa. Purtroppo abbiamo dormito male in quanto la luce del giorno non ci ha permesso di riposare. La finestra è senza le tapparelle ne persiane. Solo la tenda la quale non era abbastanza pesante per non far entrare la luce.

Luci ed ombre

La stanza ha buoni spazi, ben arredata ed è confortevole. Nel bagno non esistono gli appendini per gli asciugamani e la doccia, un po vecchiotta non è dotata di doccettino. La colazione non è all'altezza di un 4 stelle

Aspettative ben corrisposte

Posizione centrale, camera ampia e comoda abbiamo avuto un generoso upgrade), prima colazione inappuntabile

Molto buono ma non eccellente

Non ho dato eccellente per delle piccole cose, peraltro migliorabili ( il Wi-Fi non funzionava bene e la prima colazione ancorché abbondante e varia non presentava prodotti di alta qualità come ci si aspetterebbe da un hotel 4 stelle. Il resto, specie il personale tutto eccellente

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Tolle Retro Einrichtung und sehr sauber. Große Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist üppig aber leider 95 % Kuchen und Kälte Ficaccia, die sooft aufgebaut werden, bis sie weg sind. Schade. Es fehlt Obst, ein schönes Müsli, Käse aus der Region. Tomaten. Etc. lieblos fasst es ganz gut zusammen. Sonst war das Haus in Ordnung.

Die Erwartungen, die mit der Werbung geweckt wurden, sind in keiner Weise erfüllt worden. Einzig die Receptionistin war freundlich, einfühlsam und verständnisvoll!

L'hotel dà tutto ciò che serve per una vacanza a Vieste: fornitissima colazione con prodotti tipici; servizio spiaggia incluso di ombrellone/lettini! un grazie a Nunzio per il puntuale servizio navetta!

Dell'albergo che dire tutto ottimo, gentilezza posizione centralissima ma nel contempo ma tranquilla, certamente ci ritornerò.

Très bon hôtel. Apprécié par la gentillesse de son personnel et la propreté, et sa position en ville. Un peu vétuste. Dommage que la salle du petit déjeuner soit au sous-sol.
