This is a very good hotel. Provided you’re not looking for full service F&B. No restaurant and breakfast is super limited / virtually non-existent. Lovely staff great rooms (small but normal for location). If you don’t need the F&B and you don’t need to park, this is a good alternative to the true 5 star places in town. Note it’s trendy, not luxury…
Cold service
Unfortunately, the service was cold, distant, and really not friendly. This was the case both during my interactions with the reception and in the evening when I went up to have wine at their rooftop restaurant. It's a shame, very disappointing. The guys in the coffee shop were great.
While the rooms are small, they are impeccably clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.
Great experience
Great hotel in the heart of London
Wonderful stay! Afife at the front desk was particularly welcoming and helpful.
Well located
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was somewhat on the small side for the price. It is very conveniently place right by Trafalgar Square
Lovely hotel
Fantastic hotel & staff. Couldn’t do more to help.
High quality hotel in super location
Winter Run 2025
found the Bed extremely uncomfortable and we both had a very poor sleep
I had booked a night at the Page8 Trafalgar Square before my London Winter Run. The hotel is located at the corner of Trafalgar Square so it could not have been more convenient. The room was comfortable and spacious. There was no view from our room. I was honestly hoping for that after paying more than what was the charge of a room that has views of the street. Having said that, I’d not take away anything from the hotel as my overall experience was excellent.
Very well located with easy walking distance to the Tube and Covent Garden. Clean comfortable rooms, comfortable beds. Outside noise is challenging overnight due to central location, but inside walls are fully sound insulated. Never heard another guest but was astonished at the number of sirens. Would stay again!
HARD TO FAULT IF YOU WANT A CENTRAL HOTEL
I’ve been to this hotel twice and it won’t be our last! It’s in the most convenient area and there’s so much to do within walking distance.
Excellent location for central London, staff friendly and efficient
Must stay in central London!
Loved our stay at Page 8! Super convenient location, comfortable, clean, excellent customer service and fantastic coffee shop in the lobby. Top choice for my next London stay. I'd like to give a shout out to Monica on the housekeeping team! She was wonderful, cheerful and very accommodating with my request - definitely made me smile!
Great stay and location.
Great stay and location.
We had a fantastic stay. The location was ideal, the room looked like it was recently refurbished and it was beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to London.
Brilliant location, brilliant room but no views had problems with a fire alarm at 11pm at night. Discount card given for the cafe at reception could only use it oncereally it should be for all who stay there as the coffee shop wa open to all. Staff were very helpful
The Page 8 Hotel is in a very convenient location. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Perfect hotel and staff
Theatre break
Modern hotel-rooms are a good size for central London-bathroom spacious with helpful complimentary items. bed comfortable though only basic double size which could be challenging for taller people Electric blinds at window which is a small but genius detail. Room well appointed. Location is fabulous for theatre,Covent garden,The Mall and so on. All in all highly recommended.
Very central location and staff are wonderful
Lovely hotel, beutiful interior, very convenient location. With there was milk for my tea. Great windows blocking the noise from the outside.
Convenient but quite small lobby and dining area. Packed with people
Great hotel and location. Highly recommend!
If looking for a hotel in Covent Garden area stay here! Location is great, close to all things in the Covent Garden area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel as clean, room was good size. Bed comfortable. Quiet at night. Would stay here again!!
Friendly, convenient, clean, centrally located, really comfortable pillows.
The location is great, on the edge of Covent Garden & Trafalgar Square. So convenient for the theatres too. The staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. I was staying after surgery and the staff were so accommodating. The coffee shop in reception was lovely and again the staff friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. We stayed in a twin room and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay again even though there is no restaurant or gym. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Metro a few minutes walk too.
Relaxed, unpretentious but high quality hotel.
Early check in and very comfortable room.
A great stay.
A great stay at Page8. Excellent central location and cery friendly and helpful staff. Id definitely stay again.
Page 8, a lovely hotel, benefits greatly from location. It’s next to the National Portrait Gallery, St. Martins-in-the-Fields, and Trafalgar Square. Leicester Square, Covent Garden, and Charing Cross Station are all a 5 minute walk away. There are many shopping and restaurant opportunities nearby, along with theatres. It’s a busy area, but the rooms are still quiet. It has a cozy coffee shop in the lobby, and a Pret A Manger steps away in the same building. I’ve stayed here a couple times, and was able to check in by midday without waiting on both occasions. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Great hotel!
Very stylish accommodation with fine amenities. Central location with much to do right outside the hotel. Appreciated all that was included with the Junior Suite room
Excellent location, immaculately clean and really friendly and helpful staff. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great hotel in fantastic location. Reception super helpful in giving us the room early.
Very clean, comfortable, and well designed room. Excellent bed and shower. Fantastic location close to museums, theaters, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed there a year ago during our last trip to London and will probably stay there on our next visit too.
Page 8 Hotel - Incredible
A fantastic stay, beautiful hotel overlooking Trafalgar Square. As a Platinum Member on Hotel.com I am always eligible for a free upgrade but have never received one up until now. On arrival and check in, I asked if there was an upgrade available and the person who checked us in, Natalia, could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. She immediately looked into it for us and within 10 minutes we were upgraded to a Junior Suite overlooking Trafalgar Square. The service from Natalia was exceptional and we had the most amazing stay.
Conveniently located to access many tourist sites.
Everything was perfect about Page 8 from the staff friendliness, the clean rooms, comfortable beds and location. Would definitely stay here again!
Newer hotel, everything worked. Staff was exceptional. Unique bakery and breakfast items available. Highly recommend!!
Brilliant hotel. Great location. Friendly & very helpful staff. Would stay again.
I had a wonderful 8 day stay at Page 8 in London, and it was safe and comfortabld througout. They upgraded my room, and I made a great use of the 24 hr cafe located on the first floor during my entire trip. The staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect. During my stay, i needed an umbrella and the hotel kindly provided one without any charges which was very convenient. I'll definitely come back if I visit London again.
The room was very small and no real lobby .Housekeeping irregular. Very nice design elements but thin towels. Saving grace; EXCELLENT location.
Great location/ very limited staff/limited space for luggage
Beautiful room. Service excellent
Room was very small, next to metal outdoor stairs, facing brick wall. Not impressed for amount of money charged. Staff were disorganized and didn’t seem interested in doing their jobs. Had the impression they’d rather be anywhere else. Really not impressed.
Very nice
Staffs were accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect for us, close to Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, and China Town. Highly recommended!
This was a really cute hotel near many points of interest that were in walking distance. Place was clean and staff was friendly
Great location! Room was clean and comfortable.
I loved the service, convenient location, cleanliness
Very nice hotel and great location for concerts
Great stay! We were here for an overnight stay for a concert at St Martin of the Fields which is steps away from the hotel. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. Perfect! Hotel was very nice. Clean, modern and beautiful rooms…a bit small but it’s London. A bit pricey, with all the taxes and fees but not unusual so we went for the most convenient. Location is right on Trafalgar Square and steps to the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery. Also short walk to Piccadilly Street.
Weekend trip to London
Weekend in London with my daughter to see the Van Gogh exhibition and a visit to the theatre for David Tennant in Macbeth. Both amazing.
Staff not friendly and lack of service mind.
Placement
Fantastic location being right on Trafalgar Square which is ideal for exploring local area. Hotel room was very impressive. All looks new and modern with lots of attention to detail and finishings. Friendly and attentive staff. Really can’t think they could have done anything better.
Clean, central and friendly staff
Only complaint was light in the bathroom. when I bent over the sink, a shadow was cast on the washbasin, so I could not see clearly. This was particularly annoying since I needed to watch my hands while I was putting on my contact lenses. I solved the problem by turning sideways so the light shone on my hands.
The hotel was in an excellent location, with superb staff. The room was very clean and a great size with great views.
Excellent hotel and awesome location
Nice stylish rooms .. quiet and comfy
Recommended for a theatre trip and stay
Perfectly located for theatres, Covent Garden and access to the tube. Beautiful classic modern elegance - very new feel. Good double glazing and quiet for London - you are right on Trafalgar Square so will experience muffled sirens and loud exhausts. Staff were very friendly and food in the new kitty hawk roof top restaurant was exceptional.
This hotel is perfect! The staff was wonderful and courteous. And you are a stone's throw to a number of great restaurants and not a long walk to the Palace Theatre.
I highly recommend this place! It was my first time in London and it was perfect. It is super clean, nicely decorated, new and very quiet given the sound proof they have. Also, the location is perfect, in the middle of everything but in a quieter, very nice location somehow. The reception is actually a nice café. Anyway, the most important part was the service: it was absolutely awesome, they went above and beyond - and so friendly! I felt like home!
Very clean, spacious rooms all things considered, friendly and helpful staff, great location but with the central location came some noise sometimes late into the evening. However, with the windows closed it was minimized greatly. Would absolutely go back and stay again.
Highly recommended
Perfect location. Clean and safe. Staff very friendly. Coffee shop in the lobby is 24hrs open for guests. Walking distance to Trafalgar square and China town.
Great location and staff were outstanding
Delighted hotel near Trafalger Square
This was our first time staying at this hotel as we love coming to London and really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a great location and the hotel was really modern yet had lovely traditional touches. Downstairs is a great little coffee shop, where you can enjoy breakfast or a sandwich later in the day. The room was tastefully decorated with a great shower room with a shower enclosure which did not leak and was comfortable to use. The bathroom also supplied lots of extra’s in case you forgot something. Very comfortable bed with a feather duvet and sound proofing which all made a great nights sleep!!
Centrally located, clean, quiet, friendly.
Such a great property, centrally located and great rooms.
Great location close to restaurants, very central to everything, excellent service, very clean, recommended you'll be happy with you stay at Page 8....
Quiet even it is located at a very busy noisy street
Nice place to stay close to some major attractions. Staff was friendly.
Wonderful location
Wonderful service, perfect location, spacious rooms. We could walk everywhere and loved the location of this hotel. Would stay here again.
Nice hotel in a great location in central London. Good value.
The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and the location is excellent. We couldn't hear much of the road noise outside. There's no restaurant, but they have coffee & pastries in the lobby, and there's a Pret a Manger right next door, in the same building, and numerous resturants close by. There's a Whole Foods just a few blocks away as well. There were three of us in two rooms. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I stayed a week this time.
Perfect in every aspect. I will come back.
Highly recommend London Page8 hotel. Located close and central to the sites, bus/train routes, and walkable to Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery (great free art museum), Pic Circus, Soho, Covent Garden, Chinatown, shopping, and dining. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Room was spotless, nice decor, had room-darken shades, and quiet (heard no hotel neighbors or street traffic). Nice environment-friendly touches in room/hotel. Very good breakfast on site. Felt safe in room. Back from traveling three countries and staying in multiple hotels with my daughter. I tend to not write reviews -- but I read a lot of reviews in booking my travel so taking the time now to share positive words. Page8 was our favorite hotel.
The staff make this hotel special - very friendly and accommodating team. The room was small but well-equipped. Room was very quiet, even though hotel is in the heart of Covent Garden and right next to the national art gallery. Amazing dining options nearby and also onsite - it's worth dining at Kitty Hawk restaurant located on the top floor... wine selection is amazing and food was exceptional.
Awkward but fine
The location is great right next to the St Martin in the Field overlooking Trafalgar Square. My room was tiny but clean and had a comfortable bed, yet something was awkward...the tiny shower booth, no fan/vent in the dimly lit bathroom, the slow operating system on the TV reminds me of 90s PC loading when turned on... I'd say this is a decent 3-star hotel suitable for self-sufficient travelers who don't require a whole lot of services
Great!!
Quaint little hotel near Trafalgar Square that is walking distance to numerous sites. Has a cute cafe that serves delicious foods with coffee or tea. Room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended!
Great location! Close to Tube, restaurants, shopping and museums. Room was nice and the cafe in the lobby was perfect for getting coffee to start the day.
Synopsis: This is the perfect hotel for quickly seen all the sites in London. It is clean, has modern décor, great staff, and without a doubt the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. . Location – This is across the street from Trafalgar Square, there are 2 museums literally across the street. Easy walking distance to the parliament, Westminster abbey, convent garden, Churchill war rooms, London horse guards and Leicester square. A 20 min walk to Buckingham palace (tube is faster). Embankment and Charing Cross tubes are within 4 min walk, Leicester square tube is about a 12 min walk. . Quietness - A major concern I had before arrival was the noise level being across the street from Trafalgar square, this was very quickly alleviated. These must literally be the most soundproof rooms I have ever stayed in. Thousands of people could be in Trafalgar, and you don’t hear a whisper. . Lobby – Page8 does have a unique lobby. The lobby is essentially a café. A good one too. The staff is exceedingly helpful on any request. We ate breakfast in the café several times, they have a very good scrambled eggs on croissant with bacon. They carry an assortment of pastries. . Wi-Fi- I use Wi-Fi a lot on vacations, the Wi-Fi here did not disappoint. It was never interrupted the entire length of our 2 week stay. Streaming was no issue. . Nitpicks – The frig was mainly made for drinks and the pillows compressed down to much for me (however my wife liked them).
Fantastic hotel, great staff, location is perfect and walkable to all the major attractions and plays. Highly recommended !
place was a little smaller than expected. a bit of noise leakage due to the location but nothing major.
convenient location!
Cafe, restaurant for drinks, staff. All outstanding!
The staff were great Salmon Natalie to name a few Location was the best in London!
Ubicación excelente para trasladarse a pie a las zonas de Covent Garden, Picadilly, Barrio chino, el Soho….y la convivencia de tener un desayuno ligero ahí mismo para no perder tiempo
Ideal location for London City Centre.
Fabulous location. Very helpful front reception.
Second time at Page8 and we really like it. Only disappointment was the sheets and bedding were scratchy and not very soft. Other than that, great location and very friendly staff.
Great hotel in the city
This hotel is centrally located to many of the major tourist attractions and theatres. The rooms are well-appointed and have very nice storage to make excellent use of the space. A very enjoyable stay!
Super Friendly staff!! Great room quiet comfortable!!
2nd time back. Excellent
Close to 3 tube stations. Walkable to a large number of locations. Room was clean with free mini bar. Would stay again.
Excellent location. Furnishings and appearance up to date. well trained staff. Enjoyed our visit.
