Easy access to back of building to go to and from your room without having to go through reception area. Front desk was able to help me with a late check in that was past their normal time. Was understanding, super friendly and made it easy for us to get into our room. Room was good and was clean. Also was quiet during our brief time there.

The check in was easy and fast. The staff were helpful and sweet. The area is very close to everything such as restaurants shopping and the jet express ferry. Is right near Lake Erie all you have to do is cross the street. I highly recommend people stay here and will be staying here again.

Enjoyed our visit

Our family enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed the pool area several evenings and it's in walking distance to restaurants, the pier, lighthouse and Park. The hotel was clean and comfortable for our stay.

Excellent location, which is why it’s so expensive. Have a room that sleeps 5 comfortably, and that’s what we needed. It’s very clean, and very very outdated. 3 shower towels for 5 people was a little sad.

It is a great location, close to downtown and the lake. The facilities and rooms were just average. They don't do any housekeeping during the off season unless you ask for it.

Nice motel near jet express to put in bay. Close to downtown port Clinton restaurants. Have stayed here many times.

One major problem. The king size bed had a huge hollow spot on the right side. This meant that my wife and I both had to sleep on only one half of the bed.

One night stay.

We really liked the location, that was the best. We would have rather stayed in the house instead we were in the back building. A feel of an old motel. The room was something I would have envisioned in the late 1960's/70's. Clean enough. Didn't feel very private or comfortable . Appreciated the refeg. and microwave. Glad we only stayed one night. Really enjoyed the fact we could walk to many pubs, ice cream, restaurants , also able to experience live bands at several establishments. The lobby of the house was nice, they had a larger flat screen TV that we would have enjoyed watching Saturday college football games.

Big tub separate from shower great along with small sitting room with table. The area where bed was really small. All in all a good stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great and price is reasonable. The room was clean although dated. They desperately need to replace the pillows - they are totally flat.

Lovely little place, with plenty of room. Our loan complaint was that the long and roomy bathtub wasn't very deep. It's such a minor complaint, but it's worth noting. We would not only recommend it to others, but we will return in the future.

The room was dated and musty. Carpet, bedding and towels need replaced.

This place is unique. It felt like home. Very clean and the staff went above and beyond to take care of you. I would stay here again!! It is located in the perfect place. Walk to just about anywhere you want to go. It was very quiet, and the pool was a bonus. You can swim late too. There is no complimentary breakfast, but you can walk to Ala carte for a great breakfast. Two thumbs up, for sure!!!!

Just meh

This was just an meh stay. The room was basic two beds, fridge, microwave, table and 2 chairs, and sink area. The door didn't really close all the way. There was a gap between the door and door frame. That freaked me out a bit so I had to prop something else up to make sure it couldn't be opened. The doors open to an outdoor balcony that was sticky and probably never cleaned. The pool was cute but very very small. Depth was max 4 feet and there was always a ton a people in there. Only like 10 seats around the pool. The location is great a couple minute walk to JetExpress and a couple minute drive to the other Ferry stations. Across the street from park with a pier and water access. Wendy's is just a stones throw away from hotel. No problem parking. It wasn't terrible, but definitively far from great.

The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. It was in a great location, within walking distance to the center of town, restaurants, and the lakefront.

Price was excellent. We had two queen beds and a double sofa bed. Perfect for a family. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean pool. Centrally located. Convenient for walking. We would definitely stay there again

The limited lake view was a joke, you can barely see even a small area of water. Half of the lights in the room didn't work. The tv went out for a couple hours. The coffee maker was dirty.

The room was dirty. The toilet bowl had a ring and obviously not cleaned. My feet were dirty after walking in my bare feet. The table needed to be wiped down. The location was convenient.

The suite was rather small and our daughter said the sleeper sofa had what looked like used sheets on it. She used the air mattress we brought from home.

A place to stay during The Biggest Week festiv

Clean and all appliances and plumbing works. Quilt covers are nice and clean. 40 minutes to the Maumee Centre if you need a place to stay during The biggest week.

Clean , no frills but nice

Room was clean and it was nice having an option that comfortably fit up to 6. I do wish there was a breakfast offered but otherwise it was nice and clean.

The service was excellent and the whole hotel and rooms were very clean. Only complaint would be that the fridge froze most everything and there was no control to turn it down. We had a great stay. Loved that they offered drinks for purchase and they had several vending machines.

A nice little gem in port Clinton. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodations, good coffee in the morning, and a relaxing pool area (which opened early and closed late). The motel was located downtown and across the street from the waterfront. Very walkable area.

Quaint cute cozy clean

Quaint cute cozy and clean. Great service, GREAT location, close and convenient to everything. All of the restaurants I planned, the Miller Ferry, the Safari, beach(a walk cross the street) stores, downtown, all within 15 min. The decor may be a little dated, but everything is well kept. The only thing is the bed isnt very plush, but for the price, cleanliness, location and everything, room was well worth it. We will definitely return.

This hotel was easy to check in and out of. Only thing I’d improve is the carpet. It needed a good cleaning or to just need replaced. I wore my flip flops and was fine. The location was great and gave me easy access to everything lake. Park across the street would be perfect for families. The downtown has seen some renovations and looked nice. It’s only a short walk away. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Hotel was a good choice at a good price for the area. The pool is very small and we were unable to use it due to the amount of children in it. Biggest issue we had is that we went during the time of mayflies. Won't do that again.

Arrived early due a a trip out to the islands & only wanted to let the staff know we would check in later, after dinnertime. Was pleasantly suprised to find that our room was ready, so we got to check in fairly early. Property has seen better days, but is in acceptable condition. Would stay again.

We came for a very short stay but check in was so easy and welcoming. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed and more. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Hotel was good. Would stay again. Love the check in area. Staff very nice, friendly. Cozy, small. Plenty of good eating places. Lake right across the road. Carpets needed cleaned, socks were black. Needs a little updating.

It had a cute lobby which was charming and smelled nice, a sweet deck and fireplace as well. However, we ended up in the back building was was completely detached. The bathroom didn't smell clean and the shower curtain felt like a piece of cardboard. Beds were decent. It was probably lovely back in the day but showed its signs of wear and tear and age. The worst part was the guests above us sounded like they were stomping across the floor all night. Ridiculous.

Quaint and clean

Cute independent hotel. Not the most modern decor, but clean. Friendly staff. I also liked that the blankets were cotton rather than the usual plastic-feeling blanket, and the bed was topped with a quilt rather than one of the usal slippery comforters.

A nice family place in a good location. The pool was nice and refreshing. Rooms were a little dated but still perfectly acceptable and should not deter you from staying. Its more like staying in a B & B than a hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

A Port Clinton must!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay and look forward to going back in the future! The staff were EXCEPTIONAL and couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful. The location is great, the pool was fantastic, the rooms were large and the beds comfortable.

We enjoyed our room on the 3rd floor. The elevator came in handy for my mother and all of our things. The pool was nice to come back to each evening.

Very clean very friendly

Our room had mold it in, they tried to cover up the smell. I requested to be moved to another room and was told they didn’t have any. Found mold under the sink when I was told there was not any mold in the room. Terrible experience! Will never stay here again.

Room was clean. Check in and check out was easy. Stayed 3 nights so limited housekeeping was not an issue. Location is very convenient.
