Everything about this stay was incredible. I’ve never experienced service as I did at Origin ever in my life. The rooms are gorgeous, the stay is absolutely incredible. I will be staying here again in the future.

2 room villa was perfect

Our villa was amazing. The two rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast. The pool was nice and clean and perfect in the hot weather. The whole villa was a nice relaxing getaway that was so enjoyable to stay in.

We had a fantastic stay here, such a peaceful spot but so easy to walk into the centre of Ubud. The staff were amazing, the in-villa massages we had were fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The nearby area had some great cafes and warungs and there is a Kecak fire dance that takes place literally across the road. It was a great spot to truly relax. We definitely plan on staying here again when we return to Ubud.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and understanding especially Mr. Aditya. Cleanliness and hygiene was great especially the private pool which was very clean. Location is ok if you do not mind a 7 mins walk to the main street. Villa however requires some refurbrishment as furnitures and cabinets started to show signs of aging especially in the washroom. Overall a great stay.

Too pricey for this place. It’s really worn out. The rooms have humidity issues on the wall, the bed linen has turned grey as have the bath towels. The rooms have no TV channels and the wifi is too weak for the TV to play a YouTube video. The pillows are hard as a rock. The rooms are separate and not connected and the view from the rooms is not very nice. The hotel photo is very staged from one small angle. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, this place charges luxury prices and is at best a 2 star motel.

The villas are super cute and clean. The service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. All of the staff were great but Sukma was superb! Every morning they bring your breakfast at whatever time you prefer and offered housekeeping at your time preference. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!!!

Quite and clean

The villa is lovely and modern with a welcome, cool (as in temperature), private pool backing on to a river at the bottom of a jungle covered gorge. Unfortunately, opposite a new complex is being built and the workers overlook the Origin complex. We were lucky in that our villa was mostly obscured by a papaya tree at the end of our pool. So, we weren't particularly bothered but it's worth asking about if booking in the next few months. Breakfasts were lovely and varied and brought to our rooms at the time of our choosing by the charming and delightful team. We also ate in our room a couple of times while siestering during the noon heat and the food was good. It's well located, a 10-15 mins walk outside Ubud and opposite a temple that has Balinese dancing once a week. The road it is on is relatively quiet and we (me and my daughter) felt happy walking along it day and night. They also offer a shuttle bus to various Ubud locations if you can't face the walk - although we only used it once when it was raining particularly heavily. The bathroom is private but partially open to the sky. It feels like a bathroom in a garden and is beautifully done. However, this means mosiquitos are present - although they do light mosquito repelling coils every evening. The clothes hanging space is also in this area, which meant we didn't use it it because of the humidity. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

It's in a quiet location except for the occasional noise from the construction site opposite the hotel. The room was comfortable. I especially love the bed and pillows. Always had a gd sleep every night. I love the layout of the room. The pool was amazing and you can swim under the stars at night. The bathroom & bathtub are huge. The in house toiletries smell so good I forgot to use my own.The service was amazing - very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were delicious and served to the room everyday. The staff even sang me a birthday song as they were serving breakfast & a birthday cake on my birth date. It's a bit of a walk to Ubud Centre. They do provide complimentary shuttle services at selected timings. Their designated drivers were polite and charismatic. Our package included a spa treatment for 2 which was a 60 min Balinese massage which was so relaxing and done in the room complete with background music. We stayed in Villa 3. The room required a bit of TLC, a little maintenance would work wonders. Some of the fixtures needed some tweaking, a bit of paint in the bathroom walls, the pool hammock was missing a strap which could potentially cause someone to trip and fall and the wooden boards beside the hammock had a hole in it which could also potentially cause a minor accident. My wishlist is for the toilet to have a water hose or bidet facility then it would be perfect! Overall it was excellent! Keep up the good work Origin Ubud!

Perfect Stay

It was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel at home and were so incredibly nice. The room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious and we used the bikes and shuttle, all included. I really wish to go back and can totally recommend this hotel, it was beyond my expectations. We got an in-room massage, that was so good! I hope to go back soon!

Amazing stay in Ubud

It was an amazing stay, strongly reccomended to all visiting Ubud, family, couples, friends. Special mention to the staff, best of best

Firstly the staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. They want you to have the best stay. The free shuttle is also a nice touch. The room design and your own pool is lovely. Breakfast is good and the novelty of a floating breakfast is different. However this hotel is more expensive then a lot in the area and I was left slightly disappointed. Bonfires from next door sweep over and are choking. Nothing the hotel can do. Also construction in front of your garden and pool has taken away the lovely view. Again nothing the hotel can do. The toilet also has the a strong sewage smell which isn’t pleasant. It was a pleasant stay but I wouldn’t stay here again.

There's a shuttle bus service that runs to Ubud Center at certain timings. However, the lovely staff will try to accommodate your requests should you need to travel outside the timings. I wanted to visit Yoga Barn for a class around 8/9am and they sent me there :') note that the last service request is around 9+pm. We called slightly before 10pm and missed it, and had to walk 1+km back from Ubud Center on the very dimly / not lit roads. Try the in-room massages; very convenient and comfortable. They will carry in foldable wooden bed platforms with legit mattresses, prepare a warm foot wash, let you select your preferred aroma and even bring a speaker to play relaxing music during the session. They really do try their best to give you an experience like in a spa. You might miss the hotel while driving on the road looking for it as it does not have a driveway or obvious signage so drive slow when you're nearing!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was carefully prepared for us every morning (and they even made us a packed breakfast to take with us when catching an early boat to the Gili islands! There was a hotel shuttle which was very handy for the days that you don’t fancy the walk (though it is only around a 20 min walk max to the town centre). The only down side was that there we building works going on across from our villa which detracted from the otherwise serene environment but we are aware that this is very much out of the hands of the Vila.

The villa is just ok, not really worth the price. But if you prefer a quiet environment, this is a good choice

Wonderful stay, extremely lovely staff

Stay was wonderful. Attentive and friendly staff made our entire experience enjoyable. They picked us up from our previous accommodation at our requested timing and even dropped us off at our lunch place the next day as well. Had complimentary bicycles that we could borrow to tour the rice paddy fields and in-room dining was affordable. Could also opt for a floating breakfast (i.e. eat in the pool) and they offered a different night snack every day that consisted of their local sweets. Was responsive to emails when I emailed them prior to the trip and there’s nothing to nit pick about really. Our villa had a view overlooking the forest (just ask for villa 6, 7 or 8). Would be back if I’m headed to Ubud again. Location was 10/10 too.

A Peaceful Haven

Origin is a beautifully designed Hotel with minimal detail which is what I loved about it. The pool was a welcome relief at the end of a busy day. Super comfortable bed and lovely staff. However not well maintained with leaking ceilings. Minimal has possibly been taken a bit far, would have liked a rubbish bin. Certainly a very quiet peaceful place.

Modern rooms in Ubud

Rooms are very modern and well-designed. Pool is attached to the room so great for relaxing. Breakfast is provided in the room and you can order what you want the prior day. The bathroom is very spacious but has a bit of a strange mud smell? That is probably my only complaint about the rooms. Otherwise, everything was great!

Quality privacy close to Ubud

We stayed for 9 nights and it suited our purposes perfectly. We have been to Ubud a number of times and were there for a break, not to sight-see, wanting a place we could be in to read and write in pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Our room was extremely private with views out to jungle, and was spacious, immaculately cleaned and highly functional. Staff were lovely and very competent. Recognition of a birthday that hadn't been mentioned was a typically thoughtful gesture. Close enough to walk into Ubud restaurants for meals, a shuttle was also offered for the trip, practically on demand. Our five star endorsement doesn't mean it's a five star hotel as it lacks some of the facilities of a full on resort (e.g. dining room, large swimming pool), but it was classy and is highly recommended.

Best hotel in ubud ever

I don't know where to start. The hotel was so good that I even extended my stay for another 3 days. The staff makes you feel so comfortable and you are between your family. I enjoyed everything in ubud thanks to them making everything so easy for me. I even asked them if they have other branches in other cities but sadly this hotel was there first one but If I visit ubud again I'm definitely gonna stay here again. Thank you guys for making my trip in ubud unforgettable.

Peaceful retreat close to central Ubud

Lovely interior design, close to central Ubud area yet well isolated and quiet. Staff and service are impeccable. Luxurious breakfast spread served to your room.

Good and bad

Good: great view, eating breakfast in front of the jungle; a private pool at this price level. Modern design. Not good: 1. Facilities: a socket did not work; a water tap was broken. 2. Over simplicity: no facial tissue in the washroom, no trash bin in the room 3. Worst of all: air-conditioner is not functioning, and the room is hot. I saw similar comments but i overlooked it while I booked. The room is 27 degree celsius in the middle of the night, even though i turned on the air conditioning for the whole day, with a standing fan and change to another room once. It did help if you opened the front glass wall. But to avoid the mosquitos and flies, i chose to sleep in 27 degree celcius for a few nights. Sorry, I do not recommend this hotel. But big thanks to all staff trying to help us solving problems and offer good care.

A nice and quiet villa

Staying 2 nights within CABANA POOL VILLA. Enjoying the clean private pool, large living room, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and very nice service. It's a pity that there is no bathtub in this room type.

Brand new Villas

Arrived at the Villa, and staff escorted us to the villa without even asking us for any information. Still not sure how they knew it was us checking in, but very impressed. Welcome drinks and 10 minute massages were provided to both of us after check in, really relaxing. The villas are just over a month old, so it is very very new indeed. The pool has a suspended net over it so it acts as a small outdoor lounge, very cool concept. Breakfast was really well presented and delicious as well. Staff were more than friendly.

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt schön. Der kleine Garten mit dem eigenen Pool toll! Der Service super! Alle Anliegen wurden sofort bearbeitet. Das Frühstück im Zimmer war sehr lecker. Lediglich der Zustand der Zimmer ist deutlich verbesserungswürdig.

All in all a great place with nice service and a good location in Ubud

중심가에서 걸어서 15분 정도 거리에 있지만 다닐만 합니다. 직원들이 친절하고 조식도 맛있어요! 욕실도 커서 좋았어요! 한가지 아쉬운 점은 에어컨 소음이 굉장히 심합니다. 첫날 잘 때는 힘들었어요. 그것말고는 좋습니다! 저녁마다 모기향 피워줘서 벌레 전혀 없었어요!

Belle villa bien placée à l’écart du bruit et proche du centre ville. Tout le personnel est disponible et serviable, toujours prêt à rendre service. Le choix du petit déjeuner se fait la veille, juste un petit bémol sur la quantité qui est pour moi un peu juste (un morceau de bacon seulement)

Friendly staffs, great location

Nice and very helpful staffs, the room is very comfortable and close to the monkey forest and Ubud palace. Breakfast is the most wonderful dinning experience here, can’t miss it. Highly recommend the this hotel.

bathroom smells. one of the room is really small. there is no living room. only very few local channels on TV. there is no restaurant etc around the area that is walking distance.

우붓 전통시장과 그리 멀지 않고 방에서 보는 풍경도 좋았어요. 방으로 가져다 준 조식도 신선하고 깔끔했어요. 다만 길찾기가 조금 어렵고(눈에 띄는 간판이 없음) 개미가 많은 점이 아쉬웠지만 자연친화적인 인테리어여서 어쩔 수 없었던 것 같아요. 영어를 못하는 제가 여러 번 전화해서 물어봤는데 친절하게 답해주셨고 저녁에 모기향도 피워주셨어요. 친절하고 좋았습니다^^

Der Shuttle-Service war super. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der eigene Pool war top und man konnte ihn bei Bedarf reinigen lassen, falls Blätter hereingefallen waren. Das Frühstück wurde morgens aufs Zimmer gebracht. Geschmacklich war das Frühstück im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels nur "OK". - Toilettenschüssel hat gewackelt - aus dem Kühlschrank lief Wasser - nur auf der Toilette befand sich ein Mülleimer - keine Papiertücher im Bad (in anderen Hotels gab es diese) - der Boden im Badezimmer war teilweise sehr fleckig und unansehnlich vor allem im Toilettenbereich (vermutlich aufgrund des Bodenbelag) Bei dem recht hohen Preis pro Übernachtung sollten die genannten Punkte nicht vorkommen. Trotzdem waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Origin Ubud zufrieden.

깨끗하고 직원들도 너무 친절해서 좋았습니다. 방이 너무 편안하고 특히 저녁에 호텔에서 음식을 시켜먹었는데 생각보다 가격도 많이 비싸지 않고 음식맛도 너무 좋아서 다음에 가게되면 나가서 사먹지 않고 이곳에서 저녁도 해결할 생각입니다. 그리고, 여기서는 도마뱀이 많아 아무렇지 않아 하지만 저 같은경우 방에서 도마뱀이 나왔을때 너무 놀라서 전화드렸더나 바로 오셔서 도마뱀도 쫒아 주시고 ㅎㅎㅎ 너무 친절하게 대해주셔서 편히 지내다 왔네요
