Great location in the middle of all the action. Super clean and wonderful housekeeping services. The rooms are spotless and updated. Hot shower all the time and AC was ice cold ! My room preference was with no window because it was very quiet and able to sleep as long as I wanted any time of the day or night. Great restaurant on the mail level with very good food and service. The rooftop pool area is wonderful and there was never anyone up there so I had it all to myself when wanting to relax for a swim. Staff was very friendly and check in took literally 1 minute and I was headed to my room.

We had a fantastic stay at Orchid Resortel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We bought the breakfast included option and it was wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach and the Main Street with all the bars and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Great employees. Too bad there were no insulated windows or walls. The street noise is 24/7. Barely got any sleep.

Night time guests are very loud and during early morning and day time the hotel cleaning staff are shouting across levels. Good location but not somewhere you want to stay if you want sleep / any form of quietness

Great value

Awesome hotel to stay. Great location. When I arrived I noticed it was right in the middle of night life I was concerned about noise. They moved my room to the back nice and quiet. Everyone from front desk to all employees very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant in hotel open 24 hours and food is very good. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Perfect Phuket Hotel

The Orchid Resortel is the perfect hotel for Phuket. In an amazing area and very close to Bangla Rd and all the action. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and a pool and sauna on the roof. Everything you could want and very reasonable prices.

Better Hotels to Stay

The hotel was in a great location, the staff were friendly and house cleaning did a wonderful job. The room was a decent size but we had to pay an extra 500THB per night for the third person even though we had booked a family room. The pool was small, no gym and the sauna was broken. We probably would not stay at this hotel again given the number of nicer hotels in the area

Dirty, noisy, unsafe. Just don’t.

My room was large and had all facilities. Everyting worked correctly and the room was serviced every day. Hotel was at the centre of the liveliest part of Patong yet the room was very quiet. Staff were helpful and efficient but unobtrusive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great place

This place has no generator , if there is power outage , you have to climb up and down on stairs and carry your luggage . Staff are friendly and decent hotel

便利な場所にありますが、賑やかな通りに面しているので少々騒がしいです。 スタッフの皆さんはフレンドリーで親切です。清掃は毎日して頂けました。 エアコンの効きは良いです。シャワーの水圧は若干弱いです。窓のあるお部屋でしたが、レースのカーテンがなかったので、ずっと閉めっぱなしにしなければいけなかったのが、やや残念でした。 お部屋は広くて大きな冷蔵庫があります。冷凍もありました。

Was okay, no issue with hotel but i had not understood that the location would be like this. Full of SW (yes in front of the door even..). I get that that is Patong reality but i wasn’t expecting it to be this bad. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for a family. Room and staff were good though

Great place

It was a gem in the middle of the excitement that is Patong. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is super clean and updated . Close walk to all activites and 5 minute walk to beach. A 7-11 is next door which ic convenient. Overall th ebest bang for your buck, great value!

Clean nice convenient

Staff were nice Quick check in Location right next to Bangla But the beds were like concrete and the noise from the scooters and massage parlours were horrible didn’t sleep the whole night moved hotel after one night

Great place to stay to be right near the action without the noise. Has a bar and restaurant attached and the staff is a great help. They accommodated is to the room type we needed and let us keep our bags there, while we took 2 days to Phi Phi. Highly recommended

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a fantastic stay. All the staff were polite and helpfull and made me feel very welcomed. The rooms were cleaned every day. 2 water bottles were provided each day and the room was equipped with air conditioning. The location is un-beatable and walking distance to all the nightlife, shopping and restaurants. The beach is only a short walk. I highly recommend staying at The Orchid Resortel and will definately booking again when I come back next year!

Staff service want me to pay 300 baht becuase they say they don't got full price for the room becuase Expedia cut off the money and then don't have full price for the room

Central Patong position. Next to massive mall & walking street

All the employees were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Room was not large but very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent

The room and bed was as depicted. Its shower had reliable hot water. The hotel's lift operates well. The facility is suitably maintained in reasonable repair. The staff were nice, accomodating, and made efforts to ensure that my needs were met -- even those of which I might have been unaware. It is within 2 minutes walk of Soi Bangla. Considering the location, my interior room was amazingly insulated from outside noise.

I couldn’t be more upset with the staff at this hotel, I have never been treated so terribly. I had a friend come up to my room for a drink and they charged me 1,500 baht. They literally laughed in my face when I argued the fact, I brought up how I’m already paying a lot of money for this hotel and the lady at the front literally told me no I wasn’t. She told me I can leave with no refund if I would like, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole time here. The only thing good was the cleanliness of the hotel.

Overall is ok the room is clean. The location is good close to pathong beach many restaurant around the area.

The property is located near a busy and happening location in Patong. There are many good restaurants nearby. The breakfast spread is decent.

Great hotel

Great clean hotel with awesome service. The staff are always willing to assist with anything you need. The pool is a great bonus that we used often and were usually the only ones in it. The location is perfect with a 2 min walk to the beach, 1 min to Bangla Walking St, 2 min to Jungceylon Mall and a 711 right next door.

It had great resurant and roof top pool. Was very close to everything.

Excellent location.

Location was perfect for me. It was my first time Patong for me. Close to nightlife, beach and restaurants. Walking distance to most things. No need for taxi mafia.

We arrived at 11pm, staff were friendly from start to finish.. food was amazing, view from the 8th floor was amazing.. would be back to stay on our next trip😃

Average 3* hotel, quite a dangerous road with lots of cars and bikes going up a very narrow lane with pedestrians. At the end of the trip the lady on reception mentioned she was charging me as I had some make up on a face towell - that she couldn’t get it out with water... I mean if this is how you clean then that’s a worry in itself!

Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to: mall 1min , beach 5 mins, bangla rd 2mins. Staff is excellent. Would definitly stay again

Patong - 1 time is enough

Very good location, to bar street, shopping, food and beach is a slow 15 minute walk. Pool on roof is ok if you just want to jump into a big bath, no amenities up there. Its alittle old, shower water slow to run out. I will try another hotel next time for same price or even alittle more

Location is excellent. Very short walking distance to the beach, Bangla Road and Jungcealong. A word of caution, you have to pay parking fees to park your bike in front of the hotel in the evening.

Very satisfied

Was pleasantly surprised by the overall comfort and condition of the hotel. Staff and services were excellent. The one negative was that there was a power black-out in the area for half a day. Although it’s not the hotel’s fault, they should at least have a back-up generator or flashlights available as some rooms and hallways were pitch black and hazardous.

Orchid Resortel - the best

Excellent hotel. The rooms were superb, well maintained. Staff are very very friendly. The restaurant service below the hotel is great. Bar and restaurant is a cool place without any loud music and ideal for those looking for calm and peaceful lunch or dinner. Breakfast was great. Located in an highly active area of Patong, this hotel would be the best to enjoy all the activities in Patong.

Excellent !!!!!!

This is an absolute fantastic place to stay. The location is great & the staff are fantastic. Rooms are very spacious and clean, with a big shower. If you want to be close to all the entertainment & shopping, then this is the place to stay. Close to everything, including the bustling nightlife....and yet you can get a great night sleep. Thank you to all the wonderful hotel staff....and a special thanks to AT. Looking forward to staying here, on my next visit.

The best hotel in Soi Sansabai

Have come to Patong 8 times now & stayed in many hotels in Soi Sansabai they are all good but Orchid Risortel is the best so far. Very friendly happy staff, spotless clean room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast in the morning, the chefs are also very happy & friendly. The pool area is awesome,fantastic views nice bar the bar man is a great bloke. Ground floor bar is awesome as well, Highly recommend. 5 Star rating. *****

It was perfect for what we were after, there was a self parking area about 50 metres away.

Bad customer service

The location of the hotel is good But it is not the only hotel in such a location. The staffs didn’t treat my friend who came to visit me very well as they refused them entry and lied that I wasn’t around. They were so rude every single time my friend came to see me and when I asked for the manager they said they do not have. I will NOT stay here again

Very central and easy to walk to restaurants, beach, bars etc. Tour booking kiosks right outside the hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms clean. Due to the location it was a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning. Small roof top pool was very refreshing.

Comfy Rooms - Central Location - Value for Money

Orchid had good rooms with standard amenities and a pretty central location with all popular spots in Patong at a walking distance of not more than 1-2 kms. Their breakfast was also good but I would suggest them to better their service standards - I asked the reception staff to get some toast and butter for my wife as she wasn't feeling too well to go down for breakfast - and they refused saying it was closing time. I'd expect at least a little understanding and cooperation on this from the hotel staff. Overall a decent stay primarily for the location - if you're looking for some great nightlife.

Good hotel, great location

This hotel is conveniently located in the next block up from Bangla walking street. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, tour desks, JungCeylon & Robinsons shopping centres. The hotel has 8 floors of accommodation and a pool on the roof. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficicient. The included breakfast is cooked individually and served in their dining area/bar which opens onto the street. We will stay there again when we get an opportunity to visit Phuket again.

Everything was perfect except the fact that there was no wifi connection in the room ... it was supposed to, but reception was bad/not working

Bathrooms smell like sewage

Second time staying there and also the second time they have some sort of cost before we leave.. First time it was a food bill that was already paid and this time although we booked and paid online they insisted we pay for another full night because our taxi to the airport was past check out time

Nice getaway

All in all, was great. WiFi not so good had some issues and had to redo pass codes every day and every time you leave room and return. Air con and power turns off when out of room so no leaving anything behind to charge no point. But staff and service cleanliness fantastic. Location you are in the hart of it all and can hear the activities at night and bikes riding passed but I don't mind that as that's my cue to now get out there and join :) cheers

Disappointing

The hotel is very close to Patong Beach and Bangla Road, which is convenient for tourists who want to visit the beach and enjoy the night life. However, that is the only good stuff I can say about the hotel. The reception staff were passive and did not greet my friend and me when we arrived. The towels and bedsheets were stained and we could not use the towels but had no choice to use the latter. Worse still, I felt itchy and I am not sure if that has anything to do with the bedsheet or mites... The shower did not provide consistent hot water and very slow. As well as the toilet! It was clotted and I could not flush it properly when just arrived. We did enjoy the rooftop pool though. Very lovely. Just wish it could be bigger but it was still pretty good.

Definitely stay here again. Great location being very close to shopping centre, Bangla Road, Beach, food ect. Small pool but great to cool off. A/C nice & cold. Staff very friendly & room serviced every day. Only downside was bed too hard for my liking but no different to most beds in motels over here. Not a deal breaker though.

Great value hotel, very clean and secure. Staff were great. Walking distance from the beach and a very short walk to Bangla road where the bars are. The pool is small but fine for a cool down but not for exercise. Food was also good. Highly recommended if you are on a budget.

Convenient and Good hotel

My stay at orchid was good. It is easy to access jungceylon & Bangla walking street, patong beach. Local bikes are available nearby for rent. Accessible for taxis , malls & markets

Staff were helpful we arrived at 11am and were shown to our room immediately. Room was clean and the delux room was a good size .location was excellent ,close to shopping ,beach and night life

Very good price for a sufficient hotel

The hotel was amidst all of the Patong nightlife the moment to step onto the street. When you get back to your room, it is quiet and sufficient.

Good Rooms, Unsafe Location & Zero Hospitality

1) Hotel - Rooms are clean and comfortable. Decent Terrace to chill at, unfortunately closes at 8 p.m. Tiny Pool. 2) Location - Very close to the Walking street. The parking on the road just outside the Hotel is operated by Thugs in the night. They are very aggressive and unfortunately have to be dealt with since there is No Parking provided by the Hotel. 3) Hospitality - Zero extra efforts by the staff. Claim to not understand English at all. Did not step out to help when Me & my wife got in to trouble with the Local thugs for bike parking 4) WiFi - Seamless. Good speed 5) Breakfast - Very ok. One dish from the menu is to be ordered. Breads & Juices are on the house

Can't recommend

There were several things that disappointed me, such that I wouldn't stay here again: the WiFi is very poor - sometimes you can't connect, and when you finally do, the signal is very weak; the night staff gave me a hard time when I brought back a guest who was of a gender that they objected to - this made my guest and me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome - initially the person tried to charge me an extra joiner fee (1500 Bt) which I told her was outrageous; I had the bigger room, and the BR is compromised by having a tiny shower space w no door so they can make room for the tub - not a good design; lastly, there was a power failure for a whole day, but staff didn't alert guests to this - I only found out from a friend staying at a much lower budget hotel nearby.
