Would strongly recommend the Orbit In if you are staying in Palm Springs. Only a few blocks walk to Palm Canyon Dr. , where you'll find tons of shopping and dining options. Great staff and the rooms are each a unique experience. Make sure to try the Orbitini at the complimentary Happy Hour each evening!

Stay at the Orbit

We had a great stay at the Orbit Inn. Check-in was easy, Tucker gave us a tour and informed us of all the amenities the Orbit had to offer. Heated pool, hot tub, firepit, daily breakfast and cocktail hour. Our room, Cha Cha room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a 50's aesthetic. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Stayed two nights, got a good nights rest each night. The Orbit is in a nice area. Parking was easy. Wish we could have stayed longer. Tucker and Brian were excellent hosts. We'll be staying here again, for sure.

Fabulous Orbit Inn

This is an amazing boutique hotel. So unique and charming. Brian,the manager, is the best host. So accommodating and charming. We can’t wait to stay at the Orbit in again.

First time in Palm Springs with my honey, and it was a nice experience. Staying at the Orbit In was convenient and close to the main street through. The best part about staying here was the service and the unique room (Eames). The In receptionist was very friendly, and you could talk to him for hours. He was also professional and helped us with any issues as best as he could and even recommended places to eat. We ate at Clandestino (his recommendation) twice because honestly it seemed like the best place around, and we could have walked there if we wanted to. Our room seemed professionally designed, and it even had a record player. The only bad thing about our room was that our toilet was backed up the worst I've seen despite barely using it. Also we had a patio which we never used, it seemed worn down. At least the pool area was nicely done with room to relax with other guests. Overall, nice experience, and unless there is a better inn, I would probably stay here again for the vibes. I think another guest said he was a regular.

Perfectly restored and maintained mid-century property in a beautiful location with unique retro-themed rooms. Host made us feel very welcome with generous "Orbitini" cocktails and entertaining conversation with other guests at the poolside bar. This place is special and we would love to return - and stay longer next time.

Furnishings and Service

FURNISHINGS: Had a private patio, but It would have been nice to have furniture on it. Lounge Chair, and/or table and chairs that could double indoor/out as a small table/desk for the room use my computer/laptop. SERVICE: Excellent. Both Brian and Dan were terrific, Brian with all the planning for this and future trips, and Dan with service, support and Orbitinis on site.

Mid 1950's motel - wonderful staff. Clean, safe and quiet. Great pool and Orbiting hour hosted by staff. Fun place to stay for a real mid- 20th century experience. Easy access to downtown Palm Springs.

Orbitini anyone?

Great little place. Off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood yet only 4-5 blocks from all the of restaurants, shops, bars. Adults only with an evening cocktail hour. Staff was very friendly and Ben gave us some great tips on where to find some cool speakeasy spots.

Loved the place, we will be back again & want to stay here!

This is a beautiful property that embraces the Palm Springs vintage style. The staff were amazing, from check in, to Brian serving us complimentary drinks everyday. When we go back to Palm Springs we will be staying here again

Brian was AMAZING! I had a dress that was being delivered last minute and wasn't going to be at the hotel. Brian made sure it was delivered to my room and saved the weekend. It was a great place to have a romantic and quiet stay and I will definitely be returning!

We loved our time at the Orbit In - the rooms were really cute and the area by the pool was lovely, made our trip to Palm Springs feel very special!

Honestly, I regret booking only a single night here. It's pricy, but the experience is clearly worth it. It's a fairly small property, but very intimate and friendly and the decor is fantastic. The owner/host was very friendly and responsive and our room was comfortable and stylish. We'll be coming back and staying longer next time.

Nice property, easy walk to downtown. Enjoyable 50s style for a couple of days with a different vibe.

Everything about your hotel was great - if I had one small suggestion it would maybe be to skim the pool more frequently - the day we arrived, seemed like there was a fair amount of bugs and small debris floating on the surface of the pool…maybe this was a one time anomaly as next morning all was fine, but maybe a midday skim is needed. We loved your hotel and would definitely recommend it - cheers!

Old school Palm Springs

We had a wonderful stay for one night. Hotel is a step back in time and very nostalgic. Clean and comfortable. Very quiet area. Slight issue with the a/c, which was remedied.

MCM oasis

Small, boutique hotel with excellent service and amenities. Orbitinis served every evening by the pool. Quiet neighborhood, only a few blocks from restaurants and shopping. We absolutely loved this place and hope to return.

Frey room, quirky outdoor shower, fire place, record player, board games, magazines, books, warm pool, hot tub, friendly, complimentary candy, coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruits, cocktail hour, popcorn. Overall retro vibe, fun, downtown location. Walkable. Parking.

Brian was great throughout our entire visit, the other guests were friendly during coffee by the pool bar or happy happy hour. The entire place is extremely authentic vintage down to the record player in the room.

Loved My Room!

LOVED this hotel! Frank Sinatra records and a retro record player in each room. Welcome libations and everyone is friendly. I enjoyed meeting the other guests by the pool. Get the biggest room, it has a fireplace and an outdoor shower. Very roomy and the bed is extremely comfortable. Can’t wait to return! The patio room books up well in advance FYI.

Wow! My new favorite in Palm Springs!

Orbit In is such a lovely place. We enjoyed the swirling pool, the backyard with Mountain View, the complimentary yogurt and soda, the record player, the comfortable beddings and bath robes in particular. The room has a relaxing atmosphere and feels like a home in Palm Springs. The only thing that disappointed us a little was we wanted to ride the bikes at hotel but the seats were tall and not very adjustable, so we gave up - that's a minor thing and overall we love this place so much and would like to come back again in the future.

What a comfortable and quiet place to stay, just a few blocks off of the main PS drag! Every employee I met here was so cheerful and helpful! My room was huge and I loved “Orbitinis” while paddling around the pool. This is a lovely place to stay during a PS visit!
