Great st
I really enjoyed this hotel. I loved the location which was about a 10 minute walk from St. Peter’s. It was a nice and quiet area out of the insanity of the mobs of tourists. We had no problem getting to all the sites via a walk or a quick uber. I would book again!
Great place!
This was our second stay at this hotel. Its amazing and we love it. Perfect location, super friendly staff, great breakfast, very clean, quiet rooms. Overall highly recommend!
Great hotel and location in city. Easy to walk anywhere from hotel and neighborhood is safe and quiet. Family friendly
The hotel is modern and nice bitbdint stay on the 6th floor I heard talking chairs moving all the time from The restaurant upstairs
Lovely accommodations, pleasant and always helpful staff, yummy all inclusive breakfast and of course happy hours drinks and snacks made the stay pleasant and all around great experience for our first visit to Rome. Would stay there again and recommend to others
Liked the location and the staff were helpful. The hotel has modern features but the finer touches of cleanliness in bathrooms especially shower area and interesting smells near the lift bring its quality down a little. The breakfast is terrific and included in the price so was very welcomed. No free water would be a recommendation along with not having to book your gym session in the fitness center which restricts your flexibility while on holiday. Overall would return if the hotel could provide the little extras that other hotels around Europe have been providing and offering as part of services and facilities.
Great area. Underwhelmed by the staff and the “accommodations” that just aren’t available as stated on the website. (And they do not offer anything else in replace) they referred us to the restaurant across the street (save your $ don’t go) burnt bread along w non seasoned food. They offer smart tv (not in our room) robes? Where? Our tea pot was filthy. (They said it was water buildup) they control heat or NOT. No iron.
Crazy is like to say the staff were amazing, they assisted with car service, maps and spoke and understood English. We ate at the property restaurant on the 7th floor every morning where the served a continental breakfast that was included with our room. My husband and brother in law had special orders ( omelettes etc ) they were so accommodating and so pleasant everyone smiled and greeted you by saying Bongiorno! Thank you for a great vacation experience. Anne
Nice hotel, good experience. The one draw back its located in a locals area with not the best transportation to other parts of Rome
The Orazio Hotel was a great stay. Did it have some things I did not like? Yes, however, overall a pleasant stay. I would stay here again. Some of the cons: you could not control the AC, the receptionist told me they control the temperature in the room and because it’s fall, the heat is on, so it was hot in my room. Also, very important to note there is not a peephole on the door, so not safe in my regard. Also, there is not a privacy door for the shower, so you’re just out there naked. I did not like that, I think there needed to be a door. Pros: quiet, clean, hot shower(rainfall and handle), perfect location for the Vatican and Rome city center, and overall nice receptionists with the exception of two ladies (one I think her name was April and the other was a female with glasses who was not very pleasant; she needs to work on her hospitality; actually both she and April). Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay.
Great hotel that was close to delicious restaurants.
Nice
Great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. Nice clean room and very helpful staff with suggestions and directions helping my daughter and I navigate our way around. We had a wonderful stay!
Staff struggled with knowing when to make small exceptions Example is I had an open Coke Zero at breakfast and was asked to remove it Staff seemed very inflexible; very black and white
Really lovely property in a shopping and residential district near the Vatican. Felt safe and comfortable both in the hotel and the surrounding area.
Wonderful location in the Prati area.
Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, clean and great location for exploring Rome. Beds were firm and comfortable.
Stayed in a standard double room and it was very small. They turn the a/c off at 3 pm everyday, so if you’re out in the 90 degree heat, and return at a later time the room is warm! You then have to turn it on yourself. Overall, the stay was fine for three nights. For the price, I just wanted to be a bit more comfortable.
Very nice hotel to stay in. Clean, near food and shopping. Would stay here again.
The hotel’s location was excellent, but the service was average and unremarkable. It is advisable for the staff to check the functionality of the refrigerator and fridge in rooms before assigning them to guests, rather than placing the burden on the guests to report issues. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning in the restaurant was frustrating, forcing us to leave and find another place to dine. This was quite inconvenient.
Staff are friendly and very clean property
Beautiful hotel, fabulous food, staff are friendly and very helpful, spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend
Orazio Palace was wonderful. The staff were friendly and couldn’t be more accommodating. Lovely upscale hotel with delicious free breakfast buffet.
Loved the Boutique Hotel
Overpriced
Really clean and pleasant stay. However for its price, having no ‘Do not disturb’ or a lock on the door was disappointing. And there was often a lack of staff at reception when we required assistance.
It is a wonderful Boutique Hotel that is in walking distance of Museums, Good Food, and Shopping!
5 stars
Beautiful! Loved the rooftop restaurant!! Great location in Prati.
Clean modern hotel for a great stay. Breakfast could have more options but definitely really solid and filling. Staff were generally helpful but felt a bit standofffish.
This was a nice hotel that was in a pretty convenient location to explore Rome. There are plenty of great dining options yay around the corner. The room was clean and modern but did feel pretty small and cramped - I assume this is pretty typical for the city. The breakfast included was a highlight, really good!
As soon as I enter the room I could smell mold from the bathroom, when I open shower it got flooding, I had to call maintenance to unclog the shower, I asked the guy to use bleach since the water was everywhere, he said it was not necessary, they didn't even use any cleaning product to disinfect, corners in the shower were black, they did not offer to change room, paperwall was ripping in corners. You can barely walk in the room since it's completely small. Overall never coming again. Not a good experience.
The hotel was very nice, clean and well keep. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant was a little pricey though.
Patio dining was lovely. We'd definitely stay again!
Orazio hotel excellent option!! Our room was not the best because it was small. Still I liked.
Very clean, comfy bed, wonderful rooftop.
Was nice
Nice staff, room, neighborhood, and so appreciated having a gym! Thx:)
A 10 or 15 minute walk to major attractions. A busy area, so parking - even dropping off - can be a challenge. Top floor restaurant is a gem.
The hotel is great, but we got room next to elevator and gym, they squeezed us into a room where you could hear people in the other room as it only had a door, seems these rooms were created to put maximum guest in, but was not fantastic, felt we had no privacy, had to phone reception multiple times to get aircon running, they switched in on remotely, after 1,5 hours. Hotel is great location and every aspect of hotel was great, but would not stay there again in places in these “gym level” rooms.
Fab hotel, not a thing I would change, clean, staff great, great free breakfast, would defo recommend and would stay again if we visited rome
The breakfast was a good enough reason to choose this hotel. Throw in an amazing view from the rooftop restaurant and 6 blocks from the Vatican and that's all you need!
This is one of those properties that prioritized design over function. It is beautiful and has modern amenities but it falls short on hospitality and comforts. The automatic, bedside controlled black curtains and comfortable bed were about the only considerations for guests comfort. The rain shower sprayed in every direction including ding over the shower door and all over the floor. The sink faucet splattered all over your clothes no matter what pressure it was turned to. The thermostat would not go down past 70 degrees. The towels were scratchy and the linen towels by the sink were beautify but not absorbent meaning my party of 3 had to use every towel available. For a hotel advicating green practices by reusing towels it would’ve been nice to provide a towel Rack at a minimum better yet a heated towel rack as most every other European hotel has. The staff was not friendly, accommodating or helpful. After a long day of travel it is not too much to expect to be greeted. Little information was given and when we asked questions a single word or gesture was all we got. The same was true for the restaurant staff. Housekeeping was kind and not so aloof. If you want a high tech, cold, boutique hotel you will have a clear, comfortable bed and a quiet room.
It was fine
Room was small, housekeeping did not restock the room. Staff at breakfast was accommodating but we have has much better on our trip.
Nice room. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Close to many attractions. We would definitely return.
We chose Orazio Palace to be near the Vatican during our stay. Staff was exceptionally helpful, the hotel was very nice and clean. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping within walking distance was convenient. The rooftop area was a plus.
We loved the location. The hotel is really appealing. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and were also very grateful for the complimentary room upgrade. The hotel is a great location if tje Vatican is your key focus for a visit and it is still convenient enough for shopping and great eateries witjout the full on crowds and hustle and bustle of the Termini area, which is also still within easy reach. The view from the rooftop resaurant seating is breathtaking and we had some delicious food from the menu. My only bit of constructive feedback is that the quality of the breakfast is nowhere near that of the evening restaurant quality. Fresh juices and maybe oat milk in the restaurant. Additionally, complimentary water in the rooms, if only for one night, would be a welcome addition. This in no way spoilt our stay though. Would recommended this hotel to anyone who asked.
Great
Great service and clean
Great upscale hotel, nice breakfast buffet, convenient location, and very helpful staff.
We had booked a double room well in advance of our trip with two beds. However, we were told three hours after our arrival that the only room available was with one bed. We were told reservation is only based on availability. Also shower had a very slippery floor.
It was a pleasant stay
Beautiful, comfortable and quiet neighborhood
The hotel room was super clean and beautiful and the beds were super comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and we didn't heard any sounds during our stay. There's also a lot of different coffee and bakery around so it's easy to get a coffee at a couple of different places during your stay.
The hotel was the ultimate in service and accommodations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The free daily breakfast was a feast and the perfect way to start the day. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome looking for a 5 Star hotel.
excellent experience
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, very friendly staff, clean and quiet. Loved breakfast! I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I would stay again here.
Safe and clean area, friendly staff
Great hotel that is conveniently located in the Prati district and it’s close to everything by foot and public transportation. While I didn’t score the service poorly, there was a stark difference in the quality and helpfulness of the staff that worked during the day (2 lovely ladies in particular) versus the night where the staff were not as helpful and certainly didn’t go out of their way to provide good information to help you. Overall thought we had a wonderful stay and they have an incredible rooftop terrace with great views of Rome and a great happy hour to boot! Highly recommend the hotel!
The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and offered suggestions on the city.
Whilst this is a nice hotel, we were in a room next to residential apartments and the owners of the apartment next to us had their TV on at full volume until 2-3am every night. It left us feeling exhausted by the end of our trip. I spoke to the hotel but they cannot do anything about it. They were also fully aware of the issue which was very upsetting. Why sell a room with that level of disturbance? And as it is a popular hotel they couldn’t move us to a comparable room. We booked a superior room and they only had a tiny economy room left which we could move to but it was nothing compared to our booked room. Sadly this ruined our stay in Roma as we were exhausted every day with very little sleep. If you are given room 109, say no thank you!! We received no compensation for the inconvenience so I can’t in all good conscience recommend this hotel due to the noise issues we experienced.
The property was really nice, the staff very kind. I'd stay here next time I'm in Rome. Location is very good too.
They were very accomodating allowing us to check our bags in early, and even took them to the room after it was available. We literally rolled in, dropped out bags and ran to tour we had signed up for. When we got back several hours later they advised us they had given us a free upgrade. We felt like royalty in this large clean beautiful room. The concierge set up our transport to the airport the next morning. we could not ask for more.
Great location, service and cleanliness property. Extremely well located from Vatican City and Rome city center.
Very modern hotel. Spectacular view from rooftop restaurant, a bit pricey but other options in the area so didn't eat there every night. The included breakfast has many choices and delicious. The staff were ver accommodating when we needed ice extra towels or taxi.
Lovely hotel, nice staff, great spot - quiet and out of the hustle and bustle but easy 15 min walk to the Vatican, Villa de Medici and to lots of restaurants. Would highly recommend!
Nice hotel in good location with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were modern and comfortable.
What a great find! Beautiful, modern style hotel with amazing staff and service. Rooms are super cool and very clean. A special thank you to Katia for being so kind, and for all your amazing recommendations.
We loved our stay at the Orazio Palace in Rome. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bathroom offered plenty of space for toiletries, the breakfast was delicious and varied and the terrace on the top floor was awesome. Everyone was extremely friendly and accomodating. We would definitely return to the Orazio Palace.
The location worked out very well for us. The small restaurant and rooftop seating was perfect. What sets this property apart is the helpful, friendly and wonderful staff. Thank you for the upgrade on the return stay after the cruise.
Great staff. Excellent location. Walking distance every where. Nice and quiet neighborhood
This hotel is in the perfect location. You can walk to many major sites without taking a taxi. The hotel staff were so nice an accommodating. Also it was super clean and modern. We booked this for after a cruise to spend a few days in Rome and I would highly recommend.
The hotel is very conveniently placed. All the major attractions are walkable, which is good, because you’ll want to walk of the pasta. Yum. The hotel was clean, quiet, and near parking. The staff were helpful and professional as well. We will be back.
Stayed for 4 nights end of May, early June. Great location and friendly staff. Hotel included breakfast and great rooftop bar for drinks to watch sunset. Comfortable beds. Rooms are small - as expected. Air conditioner brought to mid temp, but not cooled. Hotel booked taxis for me to and from FCO with great drivers. Hotel stored our luggage the first day, as we arrived prior to check in, and delivered to our room while we were out touring.
Love my stay here. My room was a decent size and the property was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.
A great hotel! Clean and modern. Walkable to the Vatican and convenient to other attractions. Giada at the front desk was very kind and did an exceptional job to help us celebrate a special occasion!
We had a good experience in the hotel, but we did not like the service in the restaurant. Maybe we are used to a different service of waiters that is hard to find in Italy.
The place was a five star EXCEPT the single room that I booked was so small it wasn’t fit to be sold as a room. There was a twin bed with 20 inches of clearance on either side and at the base of the bed was a large desk with maybe 18 inches of clearance. There was a stool under the desk that you could pull out but not sit on it. I had one suitcase and I had to put it on the floor blocking the door entrance. Beware of this room. It just wasn’t workable! Otherwise the hotel was excellent.
A very nice and modern hotel room. Staff was always friendly, spoke English, and hotel had luggage storage services allowing us to start our Vatican Tour excursion while the room became available at 3 PM. Location was perfect for us to walk to the Vatican, Hop On/ Hop Off Bus (stop 6), and public shuttle transportation to airport for our departure.

reportedly a pipe broke and they were unable to give us a two rooms which were paid for. They wanted to locate us outside of the city of Rome half hour drive or more. Finally they did put us in a hotel on the other side of town near the forum. It was not comparable to the Orazio hotel
