Room service food very limited

We stayed one night at the hotel in February on arrival from our home in Canada. We are seniors and not very familiar with phone SIM cards. We arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon and my wife needed to call her mother in Canada - her mother is 101. We asked the hotel about purchasing SIM cards. They indicated that the nearest store was far away but that they could provide SIM cards. The concierge was very helpful and although not familiar with SIM card types, she eventually was able to get 2 SIM cards through Verizon and indicated that we should pay cash not VISA - of Eur 40 for each. When passing a Verizon store a day or so later we were advised by the store that the card was available for Eur 15 each. We queried the hotel who advised that the difference in price was their (large) profit margin Obviously we are disappointed with the high cost but learned our lesson - do not ask the hotel to get us SIM cards.

Very quirky and stylish hotel. Great touches in the room, with free canned water and luxurious robes. The outside of Atocha station was under construction at the time so loads of traffic and difficult access.

Located nicely cloae to the train station, Staff and premises is perfect. Great placr to stay too bad we only had one night here would have loved to stay more

The property overall was nice and the room good. Right across from Atocha train station. Lobby was nice with options for coffee/drinks. Room was comfortable. The reason I give 4 stars is that the wireless did not work - for myself or my husband - and was told at the front desk that it was our problem. The other issue was that our room was warm - too warm and could not cool it down.

I like that this hotel was conveniently located near the Atocha Station. There was a lot of construction on the block at the time of my stay. I only stayed one night and there were no issues.

Not the hotel's fault but alot of construction

Welcoming, very clean, the receptionist was always there to assist. Breakfast was really tasty and a variety to choose from. Will choose this hotel again.

Great location, breakfast, and overall amenities. Where they could improve is when it comes to housekeeping. On 2 days out of my 4 night stay, i had to remind them to clean my room.

The staff were incredibly kind and provided great recommendations. The amenities, particularly the gym, were exceptionally nice. We loved it so much that we plan to stay at this and other Only YOU properties in the future.

Super close to Retiro Park in Madrid and train station. The construction outside was a little annoying but not the hotel’s fault. The industrial vibe is really cool. Would definitely stay there again

Great location right next to Atocha station with El Retiro Park and the City Centre within close walking distance; our stay was for my wife's 50th birthday and the staff went the extra mile to make it extra special for her, it is worth letting them know in advance if your stay is for a special occasion.

A wonderful place to stay in Madrid. Central location, close to train station. (Spain has a fantastic train system). We paid for an upgrade to a room with a balcony/view. But due to the high construction project in front of the hotel, we took a room w/o a view. Absolutely quiet and comfortable room. The breakfast is, truthfully, the best we have ever enjoyed. Unbelievable choice of quality choices. Staff is helpful and present. Don’t make any early morning plans so you can enjoy a leisure breakfast. This hotel invested in a state of the art music system in the breakfast floor. We stayed for only 4 nights. Like us- you won’t want to leave!!!!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was delicious with many options. All the staff went above and beyond to help us and provide for our requests. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel near train station.

Nice hotel within walking distance of train station. Beautiful view from roof top bar for evening sunset glass of wine. I didnt rate a 5 because the hallways were like back-service walkways, but when we opened the door for our room: everything was lovely and upgraded. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. Im use to staff being a little more smiley and friendly. They were very correct. Just a cultural thing i thknk.

Great location. Near all the attractions. Staff are very friendly. Great experience from check in to booking a train ticket to santander with guest service. Even getting a taxi, staff helped me due to my limited Spanish. This has be one of the better ran hotels. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic quirky modern hotel. All staff are friendly, happy and thoughtful. Rooms are large with all amenities needed. The breakfast choice is amazing- you are wanting for nothing! Lovely to have an egg chef too. Easy walking distance to everything too and can’t recommend highly enough for a stay there.

Super Convenient To Train Station, Uber Hip Hotel

Love this property. Super convenient to the main train station, this hotel is modern and hip, the decor is great, fresh and fun. Our room was smallish but efficient, the bathroom is large with a gorgeous shower with multiple heads and great toiletries and towels that I wanted to take home with me. The lobby and lounge are great for drinks before or after dinner as is the top floor patio. I thought the breakfast at this hotel was outstanding. Fresh made omelettes to order, great coffee and fresh juices and fruit as well as an array of cheese and bread that was all delicious. Can't wait to stay here again.

This hotel is wonderful esp. breakfast buffet was great. The hallway was a bit funky for my taste but our room was very nice. I said it was noisy and inconvenient because there is a road construction right outside of the hotel while we were there. Once it’s all done, this hotel would be 10.

Great location, great decor, great vibe.

I booked Only You Atocha because of its' proximity to the train station. It was perfectly located but the best part of it was not the location but the hotel itself. The decor is super hip and great, a barbershop in the lobby was a first for me, the lobby lounge area was great and vibrant but not overwhelmingly so. You wanted to be part of whatever was going on in there. The rooms was big enough, the bathroom was amazing, the toiletries were great and the water pressure was perfect. We opted for the breakfast which was execellent. Great coffee, omelettes made to order, a nice selection of breads and pastries and plenty of fruit. The staff were all super helpful

Location, Service, Comfortable, Food….

We all enjoyed your variety of gathering places. Our dining experiences were great from the coffee bar downstairs to the wonderful breakfast and dinner opportunities on the 7th floor.

This hotel is close to both high speed rail and a metro station. The Prado snd Reina Sofia art museums are walking distance as is the Jardin de Retiro. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I didn’t see a lot of nearby breakfast options.. We also had a good late lunch in the hotel. The rooms and common areas of the hotel are very attractive and the staff helpful. We stayed in six hotel while in Spain and this was the best.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel staff is great and the rooms are specious and very clean. central location.

Only had a short stay here but the staff was very helpful in getting us checked in early. Couldn’t be any closer to the Atocha station and is very walkable in the area around the hotel. Lived the interior design of the hotel and rooms.

Good for train station, but not old city and plaza

Location - very close to station, Prado museum short 15 min walk. But the main old city squares and good tapas plazas are 30 min walk away or taxi . Modern deco hotel mix of old and new styles. Room was ok Junior suite which over looked a very interchange round the station - so some noise as expected. Breakfast fine, having dinner at resturant - its ok but only if your stuck Summary - good for its location snd service , would use again

Love this hotel. I plan to stay here every time I visit Madrid. I am looking forward to visit the Sevilla location. I will recommend this to anyone planning to travel to Madrid.

Extremely accommodating

Staff was helpful and welcoming. Requested a room change and was accommodated without hesitation and even given champagne as an additional apology for our inconvenience. They aim to please!

Great property in the heart of Madrid. Convenient to many tourist attractions and shopping venues. The food was fantastic. The dining facilities on top of the property afford a great view of the city. Breakfasts and dinners were wonderful.

Staff was wonderful for a first time visitor to Madrid who arrived early in the morning in pouring rain. Very helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. Worth the 25 euros.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. We were suprised by the friendliness of the staff, the concierge and wait staff. The breakfast was delicious and covered so many food groups it was more like brunch. Getting around from there was also easy, with many transportation options. We had a fantastic stay.

Great location except for traffic noise which is mostly vehicle horns honking but not bad from 10pm to 7am. Very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast buffet. Rooftop bar restaurant is an added bonus. Staff was very helpful.

It was a great stay. It’s a very nice hotel in a great location. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The downstairs lobby had a great vibe and great area to relax have a great breakfast and a nice glass of wine…I highly recommend!

Excellent service and right across from the train

This hotel lacks for nothing. Their service is top notch. All of the staff go out of their way to make your stay the best. The food throughout the Hotel was very good (the buffet breakfast is well worth the 19.5 euro’s each day. There is a nice rooftop terrace bar…. Would highly recommend this Hotel and if you require anything stop by guest services and see Mercedes or Esther….

Super cute place with a comfortable bed. Very close to the train station (literally across the street). There is construction currently outside the front doors so makes for some extra notice and difficulty navigating if being dropped off by a taxi, but that is no fault of their own. Loved the vibe.

Great hotel in a good location. This is about 2km from Gran Via and a 30 min walk. Very close to most of the museums. It’s across the road from Atocha station so easy access to underground and regional trains. The hotel is superb and staff are amazing. A few small issues but were attended to quickly. This is my second time staying and will definitely return

I don't rate often, but this hotel was fantastic. The staff very nice and helpful.

Great place to stay

We paid extra for the balcony room, and that was a mistake. The view was just a traffic jam leaving the train station. It was very noisy with the window open and even closed you could hear honking, sirens, and during the day a jackhammer doing construction. That said the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable. The cafe on the first floor was good. However the breakfast buffet was extensive but pretty bland, and only had instant or pod coffee.

Love the location, right in front of train station, Atocha. We had a short stay at town and needed to reach train station from the hotel to catch train(Renge) to go to Cordoba. Love the location of breakfast(terrace) with a great panorama view

I stayed here for the train station access, which was within a minutes walk. Hotel was great, breakfast was really good as well

Overall we had a wonderful stay in the hotel. We liked the breakfast which was a lot of choices. The staff was friendly. We had dinner and the staff made a mistake to refund some money to us, but we have never received any refund from them. It was a bit nuisance for us to prove that we didn’t receive any money. The hotel was under construction which we haven’t been told.

The room was nice and the hotel is conveniently located but the construction was too loud which made it hard to sleep . I understand it’s not the hotel’s fault.

Amazing hotel and definitely going back again everytime i go to madrid

The property is located right across Antocha train station which is very convenient and overall it feel safe and super close to some of the tourist areas . Only downfall it has it the bar area very confused as to when it was open or closed as it was also closed during my time , should be more open for lunch or /night hour etc .. Room was clean but a little small , overall would consider staying again only if I was doing things in the area and if you want to stay away mainly from the touristy areas .
