Very good hotel, everything perfect.
I’m glad I chose this hotel for my vacation. Initially, I was a bit skeptical when I made the booking, but as soon as I arrived, I knew I had made the right decision. The staff were exceptional, the room was perfect, and the amenities were top-notch. If I ever return, I already know where I’ll be staying!

This hotel is absolutley wonderful. The service a in every way. And the restaurant (which recently opened) serves outstanding food. Great location, spotless, and great amenities such as the gym. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
Great property. I would definitely stay again!!
All staff was wonderful, from valet, doorman, to front desk. People in restaurant (bartenders) were terrific. Great property, am already planning on coming back soon!!
Nice quaint little hotel, with a nice restaurant. I'll be sure to return when the weather is warm enoughfor the balcony
Not an aparthotel
This is not an aparthotel. It’s just a hotel. Don’t make my mistake in thinking you’re getting any kind of kitchenette.
WOW!
One of the best hotel experiences I've had in some time. Friendly staff and the rooms were HUGE with a balcony. Everything was new and well done. Rooms, Lobby, Gym. Unfortunately I only stayed one night. Impeccable.
Great hotel overall. New property in excellent condition. Towels could be better cleaned as some soiling was visible at times. Other than that issue we had no other complaints.
Very clean and spacious rooms
Large clean room. Very convenient location.
Nice new property. Clean rooms. Helpful front desk staff
Room was bright and nice size. Coffee selections only had one capsule for espresso
I was surprised by the boutique hotel. It looks fun and cozy and the staff were really nice, They were always greeting us and made sure we had everything we need for our stay.
New hotel, friendly staff, super bright and spacious rooms. Down side : it is LOUD! Room doors are loud, even when not slammed, noise travels, in room AC super loud!, breakfast is included and in brand new space/restaurant on LL BUT no hot water/tea available!!!! Odd as it is one of the easiest items to include. Valet is over the top expensive! But parking garage 24/7 is avail across the street for self parking. Great location and very nice hotel
Checking in and out took a while. Evidently Expedia didn't push through my reservation so I was told I didn't have one when I showed up. The check out took a while as well (roughly five minutes to turn in keys and get my invoice) and my Uber was getting close. Otherwise, a really great stay and very helpful staff.
The team at Hotel AKA is excellent and professional. After a screwup by Expedia where no rooms were available but they booked folks anyway, the hotel team worked to find me a room. It was an overbooked hotel event across DC, but they worked hard and made me feel so comfortable by providing beverages and a place to work. By the way, with no guarantee that I would ultimately be a paying guest. Rooms are really large and the restaurant on premise is amazing (a French style bistro - have the duck!). Highly recommend. It is a new hotel so everything is fresh.
It's really vey clean and good location.
The wall insulation is terrible! Some Guests played music whole night, feeling like they played music in my room. You could hear speaking clearly from neighboring room.
I met some really pleasant staff. Unfortunately I saw a dead rat on property. When you pay top dollar you definitely want the assurance of a pest controlled and free environment. Rooms are new and the balcony is nice but can’t make up for the dead rat. Makes you wonder about hygiene. The gm tried to use construction as an excuse. Not buying it
10/10. Would stay again !
Amazing stuff, Clean spacious rooms
Spacious room, friendly staff and excellent location
Nice and spacious junior suite. Staff at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. The servers at breakfast were great guys as well .
Spectacular Hotel
Our stay was magnificent. All of the staff, front desk staff, cleaning staff, morning breakfast staff, door staff, etc. were all excellent. Each staff person who we interacted with was very friendly, professional, and polite. The room and everywhere else was very clean. The house cleaning staff did a great job cleaning our room. Our stay had no hiccups. Everything went incredibly smoothly. We highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely new hotel! Will stay again. Hopefully in the future they will introduce room service
Excellent experience from reservation to checkout. We loved the room! The staff was extremely helpful. We loved breakfast and nightly happy hour that were included.
Modern new hotel
Air conditioning doesn’t work. They sent a repair person at midnight who used a power drill for an hour. No listed amenities in room. Very loud construction in and around building. Truly terrible experience.
Great place near Foggy Bottom
People were very friendly and accommodating. Great location. will stay there again.
Would definitely stay At Hotel AKA again.
Location of hotel was within walking distance or short bus ride to White House and Monuments. Breakfast was served each morning at Hotel AKA and included a variety of items such as fresh fruit, cakes, bagels and yogurts - all delicious. Our double room was large and very clean, housekeeping is doing an excellent job. Front desk personnel were always friendly and helpful.
Ac didn't work properly. Really hot in the suite. Spent 2 nights in a very hot room that the engineer couldnt fix. They started construction at the/in the hotet early morning and made lots of noise, at 7.am preventing us from getting good sleep. Wouldn't recommend.
I wasn’t informed there was major construction happening in the property. The exterior construction started at 7:00 am . The positive is I started my day extra early . Over all the hotel was wonderful
It’s such a clean, comfortable, and modern space. The staff were all so friendly.
Loved how clean my room was and really appreciated how friendly the staff were. Will definitely plan to stay here more when in DC!
Beautiful property and extremely friendly staff!
Warm and welcoming. A perfect place!
Room was very large and nice! We had 2 double beds, there was a walk in closet, a desk, and a chair. The room had a nice patio with 2 chairs as well. The desk was very helpful and friendly. Masks were required throughout the hotel. Unfortunately there was no parking on site (No valet) so we had some trouble finding an affordable parking garage close to the hotel. The hospital is nearby, so at night the ambulances and sirens were pretty constant, if you're a light sleeper this might not be the best choice for you.
The staff was great and very accomodating & understanding.
Loved it
Amazing 😉
There honestly wasn't a single thing about this property that I did not like. Spotless room, great views, and lots of space.
Liked it very much
I'd recommend this hotel. Good location, very nice helpful staff. Large rooms except small bathroom. Had a kitchen since this was previously apts for GWU. 5 minute walk to Foggy Bottom metro.
Enjoy Stay and Will be Return
Very helpful staff made check-in easy and efficient. I would definitely coming back for my next trip.
Great location, great restaurants nearby
We had a wonderful stay at One Washington Circle. The hotel staff was great, our room was clean and inviting, and the view was beautiful. The metro was one block away, as well as Circa restaurant and District Commons restaurant. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to DC!
Great place to stay while in DC.
Always consistent. Great staff. Very accommodating, spacious rooms.
The rooms are a little outdated, but they are very clean. I loved having a kitchen. The service is good, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. This hotel is a good value. It is located near GW and its facilities, near restaurants, grocery stores, and some shops. Cultural institutions, stores, and other facilities and events are easily accessible by Metro. I did have trouble with Uber drivers being able to find the hotel's drive. They kept wanting to pick me up on various streets. I had to send them a message to get them to pick me up in front of the hotel.
Location to GW and my son who goes to school there. And I can bring the dog too!!!
old and noisy. Stains on carpet. Desk staff member upon checkout was not helpful. Breakfast waffle was cold and I returned it to kitchen and left.
Great location! While the hotel is a little "dated" from the outside, my room was pleasant and it was very clean. I also enjoyed the free wine between 5-6 pm in the lobby; and the free coffee and tea in the morning. A 5 minute walk to metro takes you most places you need to go.
Nice stay
Overall the place was nice, great location and very friendly staff. If you are not use to Urban living I'd suggest bring earbuds to sleep. With the hospital right there, you get a lot of sirens all day/night. Also the walls seem thin as you can hear your neighbor easily. Also get new pillows, or have a firm option. Besidea that highly recommend.
Great Visit
Exceeded expectations from the start. Very modern and clean entrance. Very pleasant staff. Rooms were unbelievable, for DC, huge with kitchen, refrigerator and balcony overlooking quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed having a cigar before bed. Restaurant on-site was not very good, breakfast was meh. Lots of other restaurants all over that area. Definitely will stay again
Great staff, tired building.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful. But the place is looking a bit tired. There were little things that were irksome. For example, the curtains were for show and don't close, meaning the room got cold at night in the winter and there was too much light coming in from streetlights etc. The staff were amazing, but I'd say the rest was fine. You could probably pay a very little bit more and stay somewhere quite a bit fresher.
I stayed here with a friend for 4 nights whilst visiting Washington DC. The hotel itself is perfectly located. It’s steps away from a main underground station which connects you to the whole city and it’s also in a great location for you to walk to any part of the city. As with any capital city, it’s large and you can expect to walk a fair distance to get to everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy but somewhat dated and in need of a bit of TLC, however it served the purpose of our needs as a base. The staff at this place were absolutely fantastic. Every single time you walked in or out of the hotel, the staff at the desk would welcome you with a smile. They were super friendly and extremely helpful. 5* service. In all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Very enjoyable; excellent choice for the cost involved
Great location and the staff are very nice. Very central to everything
First off I think the majority of these rooms have kitchens. Ours had a full fridge/freezer, sink, stove, microwave, coffee grinder and coffee maker. The cabinets were stocked with everything you needed, plates, cups, bowls, spoons, forks etc. They had an order form if you needed to request special items, like a mixing bowl and whisk. They have an order form where they can pick up items from a grocery store for you. The Bed was SO comfortable and the heating worked great, it wasn't too hot or cold. It had a full walk in closet with a door to the bathroom. The pull out sofa wasn't the comfiest but what can you expect. The view was spectacular. The staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. They have a bistro so if you are hungry and don't feel like exploring its an option and the food was good. They have coin operating laundry facilities and a vending machine downstairs. Convenient location to most attractions. Most of our Lyft rides were 8-12 bucks but there were three of us and we needed space. Now for the bad part lol it is located near an emergency room. So around mid to late morning the sirens begin. Late at night and early in the morning they aren't as frequent but it gets LOUD. We had no trouble sleeping but we were also exhausted, probably wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper or small babies or children. There is also a small ledge I guess you would call it before walking into the hotel room and the bathroom, so watch your step and toes!
Conveniently Located Hotel in Need of Renovation
Pros: Hotel is conveniently located across the traffic circle from the Foggy Bottom Metro station. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by, Whole Food and Trader Joe’s are also close by. Staff are always pleasant. Cons: George Washington Hospital is next to the Metro station, sirens from the emergency vehicles wail through the night. The hotel upgraded us to a suite on the 7th floor facing away from the hospital, but the windows and sliding doors to the terrace are poorly insulated, so no relief from the street noises. In general, the hotel is in need of a major renovation including better sound insulation all around (including room to room). Every time someone from the neighboring rooms (above , below or next door) opens or closes the sliding doors it sounded like a heavily loaded cart with metal wheels rolled by.
Location is ideal to see all the sites. 15 minute walk to many attractions
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of monuments, museums and great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helped with a surprise birthday celebration. The staff also helped with another guest who was very loud and disrespectful to other guests. The staff treated the matter very professionally and with utmost respect and courtesy. We look forward to staying at One Washington Circle the next time we visit DC. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Great location
Location is great: its between Downtown DC and Georgetown. Its possible to walk anywhere significant in max 30 minutes. But there are also public transportation. We stayed 7 nights at a room with a kitchen. It was very usefull. There was no breakfast, but they were serving coffee in the mornings. Only concern is parking if you are with a car.
Patio gave a view of the city. Coffee grounds to make personal coffee in the room was exquisite!
I've stayed here several times. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, the staff are helpful and friendly, and it is a convenient location. I'm looking forward to my next stay.
great spot in middle of D.C.--good price
Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom needed some updating. Will be back.
The double room was big and bed was comfortable. Nice that coffee beans were provided. However, the walls are very thin and you can hear people talking in other rooms as well as the old elevator opening and closing. Ear plugs are a must.
Great stay for a decent price !!! The only issue was the proximity to the hospital so the ambulance sirens woke me up once but other than that great value for money.
Staff was friendly, overall the hotel was nice.
Father/Son Getaway
Very accommodating. Staff and level of service were truly excellent. No issues whatsoever. From check-in to check-out, all went well. Will recommend to others.
The rooms are very spacious. The view was also great. Didn’t like that you could hear the next door people slamming the doors.
This hotel has highly professional and caring people.
This was a budget trip and I got a great deal, so I won't complain too much. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the perks of free wine happy hour and wifi. The rooms are outdated and some of the drawer pulls were broken, one of the electric sockets didn't work. My room was clean and the water in the shower was always hot, so it was nice after a long day of walking. I also really like the location, but there's a hospital across the circle and the sirens are a bit annoying. It was a decent stay and I would recommend if you're not a nitpicky person. If you want luxury, this isn't the place.
Wonderful Stay
Love this hotel! Large, comfortable rooms and great service.
Great place
I love this hotel in the heart of D.C.
Excellent rating price quality. Very good location
It was a very nice experience, staff was very helpful.
I liked the rooms and overall security. Noisy area as it's close to the hospital and missing some amenities like icemakers so you can get ice and vending on the floors.
Everything as expected, wifi had some issues on the 8th floor, they described as dead spots. Little noisy at night too mamy sirens as the emergency is nearby
perfect!
Superb location! Excellent staff. Great dining nearby. Gigantic room (circle view king). Not flashy modern, but very very nice and clean. Full kitchen was a huge plus! Also having a balcony is the best. Would stay again! Note - there are sirens from nearby hospital but you get used to them. I would’ve added pics but the Hotels app keeps crashing when I try to upload them
Fantastic Hotel in DC
This was one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed at ever. The One Washington Circle Hotel is conveniently located by a metro station near George Washington University to go sightseeing. We arrived very late from our flight but the hotel staff was courteous and checked us in. The hotel room itself was fantastic. Apart from the typical bed, desk, and tv set up, the room had a small kitchen with a fridge, working stove, and microwave. It felt more like a studio apartment. The restroom had a tub with plenty of warm water to deal with the Christmas cold in DC. The hotel room's heater was good too. The hotel also has a restaurant called the Circle Bistro. We had breakfast and it was pretty good and had variety. I really enjoyed my stay at the One Washington Circle Hotel. I have definitely found the hotel to stay at whenever I visit our nation's capital again.
Clean, very convenient location for Kennedy centre, nice service! Perfect for a one night impromptu visit, great value too, balcony and kitchen were an unexpected bonus!
Awesome hotel , excellent location, professional stuff !
Amazing
The staff here was great! Everyone—from the door, to the front desk, to the restaurant—was friendly and kind. I loved the amount of space that we got and the location (in a cute neighborhood, with a nearby Trader Joe’s). It was a great value, and when we arrived from the airport hours ahead of normal check-in time, they even let us check in early! We had to wait a little while for ice to be sent up, and when we came back to our rooms we found ice and breakfast vouchers for the whole family! It was a wonderful place for a Christmas Eve family getaway!
The fact that each room contains a kitchen is a big plus. I also like the proximity to the Kennedy Center and to DuPont Circle shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent place to stay
The people at the front desk were amazing!! Helpful, friendly and very informative when we asked a few questions about what’s around the area!!
Comfortable location and kitchen, staff are friendly and courteous! Spacious rooms with enough towels and pillows
The location is very very good ! What I don't like is sometimes when you open windows outside the traffics too noisy!
Property was clean and the staff was friendly. It was in a great location for where we were planning on visiting (White House area along with Georgetown). My biggest problem was on our last night there the guest above us was slamming their sliding door until 2:30am. While this isn't the fault of the staff, nothing was done about it. I called multiple times and was told they would give us a sound machine (even though the slamming was shaking the walls) or when I called at 1:30 that I could change rooms (not what I wanted to do). I felt like the someone should have contacted the person slamming their door every 15-30 minutes until 2:30am instead of me being inconvenienced.
Delightful hotel in the Dupont Circle of Washington. Close to all sites. Staff were top notch. Professionally courteous and attentive. The beds were very comfortable.
Perfect location, cheap cab/Lyft rides to pretty much anywhere. Rooms are huge and kitchen is great to have. Lobby is beautiful and of course, I love the lemon-lime water! The staff truly could not be more helpful. I use crutches to walk and they accommodated me at every turn. They’re friendly and think of things you need before you do. I can’t say enough good of about them!
Spacious rooms and friendly service. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again when visiting DC.
Overnight shift front desk assistant had a little attitude when i asked for my car. but other thrn thatvit was cool.
Excellent location of this property , comfortable and spacious rooms
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean but the kitchen seems old and need to be renewed.
Nice stay. Good location near a Metro stop for visiting the sites of Washington.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Only thing really annoying are the balcony doors they are super noisy one room opens their door and you hear it in the whole building.
Bed and towels were clean, which is the most important thing. It didn't have paper coffee cups. It did have white ceramic cups, but they were dark inside from coffee/tea so I didn't use them.
Nice property, great location, friendly & helpful staff. No, it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but neither are you paying for all that stuff.
Staff was wonderful and the space was beautiful and comfortable.
