First off, the resort is beautiful and all the staff were wonderful. In most cases I believe it would be an easy 5 star review, however we did not stay at the best time. The resort was preparing to transition for a private event which effected the dining options and had a lot of work going on around the property. My main complaint was we were not made aware of any of the changes before or even upon check-in. It wasnt until the morning after that we received a text saying the main resteraunt would be closing after breakfast. And then the next day the pool menu was drastically reduced and breakfast options were limited. Had we known about the transitions they were making, we would've had planned on having a rental car to go off property or maybe chosen a different resort for this stay. We wanted to be able to stay at a resort where we did not have to leave for the entirety of the stay but unfortunately with the changes going on we had to find other options off property for dinner 2 nights. It would've just been nice to have had more communication from the resort prior to pur stay. If we would've been able to fully experience the resort or known going into it what to expect, I do believe my review would be a 5 star.
My husband and I stayed here from a Mon-Sat. For a kid free getaway. We traveled about 7 hrs flying to arrive, so no car. You need to prepare to Lyft or uber 20 mins to airport which is easy with the Lyft app. Great drivers in the city. We didn’t valet but the valet at the resort were super kind too. The resort is stunning! Start to finish, it’s like a Spanish dream. The spa was beautiful. Downfall: we had terribly chilly weather that is unusual for this time. 60s, wind, no sun. Totally killed the vibe. The spa is only coed in the outdoor pool area so that ruined that for us, not their fault. Prado dinner was 12/10. Cade was incredibly knowledgeable. Emma working the adult only Osasis pool was the absolute best. Really, all of the staff were awesome! Food is good. A lot of the same stuff at all places, and pricey. $20 margaritas and $20 salads, so be prepped to $$$ ball out on food and drinks. But that’s a choice of not going all-inclusive! We would do it again. Shopping ant oldscottsdale annd the mall and restaurants around are all fantastic within 15 min Lyfts. Steak44 was the best meal and experience we have had. Evo was chill and great pizza. Be prepared to bust butt if you climb the echo camelback. I am a marathon runner and still struggled. Worth it, cool freaking experience! But wish I had better trail sneakers packed and lots of water. Do not climb on a very hot day. 70 was hot! We wish we had better weather but overall it was worth the trip. Omni is a yes!!
Beautiful property
Have been many times, it's incredible
Loved the Omni!
Omni is now a required destination for my family annually. From the beautiful poolside care, to the amazing food, and friendly staff. Wow, 10/10 experience!
Great resort and beautiful property
So many amenities, and a fabulous spa! Super friendly staff and gorgeous view of Camelback mountain.
This is an absolutely beautiful property, with great amenities and helpful staff! I loved that is was big enough to offer everything I needed, but on a scale that it still felt cozy. I will be back!
This is an absolutely gorgeous property situated in Paradise Valley. The grounds are beautiful and smells amazing due to the flora around the property. The room and patio are comfortable and nicely furnished. We greatly enjoyed are stay here!
beautiful resort in a great location near all the popular restaurants and shopping you can also hike camel back mountain. The pool10/10 food 10/10 I would definitely come back
property was clean and beautiful staff was very attentive to your every need check in was a breeze with valet parking I felt that no matter what your question or request was the staff found a way to say yes had a very relaxing time will definitely be back
Terrific location and generally well-kept property. Service was good, food/beverage was good and amenities were good. The grounds are extensive and beautiful. Rooms were generous......the shower was a bit difficult to turn on/off, the bed needs to be replaced. Lovely balcony with extensive view....unfortunately, someone nearby us smoked and we could smell several times a day. We would likely return to the property for a future visit.
Very nice peaceful property. Very spread out so if your room is far there is a lot of walking. Pools are great. The spa pool is off limits unless you have a spa appointment. It has the best views though. It would be nice if they had a sitting area for us guests not using the spa to also enjoy the views. Cafe by the pool is decorated very modern, uninviting and cold. Does not match the rest of the property’s’ vibe at all. Staff was awesome!
the grounds were beautiful, lots of flowers, flowering trees, very well maintained. Lots of outdoor seating options to relax all over the grounds
The resort is absolutely gorgeous, visit for sure! I will be back, I felt completely at home and didn’t want to leave.
Clean. Comfortable. Relaxing.
We had a great stay. We were a little concerned prior to arriving since there were reviews of the property seeming dated and having small rooms. That was NOT our experience at all. Rooms were clean, updated, and well-maintained, with great views of Camelback. There was also a wonderful patio with comfortable furniture and lots of manicured lawn-space. The bed was comfortable and I haven't had that much water pressure in a shower in a really long time. The only complaint was the distance from the main area to the room, as we were at the far end of the complex. This did, however, provide us unobstructed views of Camelback from the room, so it was worth the extra steps. Food was excellent, especially at Prado, where we sat outside next the the fireplace. Our waiter, Oliverio, was outstanding and made excellent wine pairing suggestions for Spanish wines to compliment the Spanish cuisine. The pool was very nice, but poolside service was slow. It's walking distance to the Echo trailhead at Camelback (just a few blocks away), so the Omni is a great location if you're planning to hike. You'll have to drive a bit if you're looking for other activities or dining, but honestly, the property is so nice, there's no need to leave. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the groundskeepers even picked us some ripe oranges from the tree outside our room as we passed by. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance, and ask for Oliverio as your waiter for dinner.
It’s a spa resort in Scottsdale. The crappy don’t survive. Even so, the staff here were exceptional. They took care of every detail, were friendly without being annoying, and genuinely did their best to help everyone. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pools are nicely warm and poolside service is good. Only negative were the tacos at Central Taquiera. Not bad, just *meh*. We would gladly stay here again.
Great location but the property is very spread out. Try to stay in buildings one to six unless you want to walk or take the golf cart a lot we were in building 12 and it was a hike.
Excellent hotel, great view of the Camelback hill.
Everything about this resort was great and relaxing. Zero complaints.
Enjoyed my stay and the staff was amazing.
Super charming, beautiful landscapes and spa, felt like I was in Spain.
Omni, Oh my
This is a very relaxing place. You can hang out at the restaurants and pool or just sequester in your room and patio. It really is a getaway destination rather than a base for exploring Phoenix. Just what we needed. The spa is first rate adding to the pampering aspect. Would stay again. Breakfast and dinner selections were healthy, well prepared and well presented.
Wonderful. Polite staff. This is a resort with all the bells and whistles
Spa Weekend
The hotel is amazing and all of the hotel staff are friendly, kind and helpful. The staff really goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Property was lovely!
Everything you need in one resort. Staff are amazing. Property is beautiful
Great pools and customer service. Nice property including the gym and spa
Over priced. They charge $30 for self parking which is ridiculous!
I enjoyed the spa and friendliness of the staff. Needs better pillows, they were horrible. Needs upgraded bad but very clean and excellent staff.
We had an excellent room, but beware they charge an additional $75/day for resort and parking fees. This is frustrating and prevents me from giving a higher rating. Also food at both restraurant onsite is decidedly mediocre (althought the atmosphere at Prado if very nice). I'd give both a pass since there are plenty of other choices nearby.
Excellent location
This is a good property. The King poolside room was spacious with a lovely porch and comfortable bed. Front desk pleasant and efficient. Biggest complaint is the parking. Self parking is $30.00 a day and you have to go into a dark garage on the lower level to retrieve your car each time you want to use your car. Way too expensive when JW Marriott across the street doesn't charge for self parking. Valet parking was available for $35 a day, but then with tips you could easily be paying $45 a day. Spa space for pedicure was average (but my technician was good). Crave cafe was a nice place to grab morning coffees and fast pastries/yogurt or sundries. Service around pool was excellent. A pitcher of ice cold water and glasses were delivered immediately upon chair selection with frequent rechecks by the staff. The hotel grounds are nice with lots of communal vignettes with fire pits and water features.
Great location with beautiful view of Camelback mountain. Room and amenities were clean and well done. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience and we will definitely be back.
Front staff and restaurant staff all nice. Had to switch room. Safe not working, shower drain slow, door did not lock, steps up to room were rusty and dirty. Food and drinks especially were expensive. Will not return. Stayed 8 nights.
The Paradise Valley area is just residential property and lodges. All restaurants are at least a 10 minute drive from the property. The hotel is excellent, rooms are excellent, grounds are beautiful, views are amazing. The only negative was they did not have bikes available so we couldn't do that activity.
It’s a real 5 star experience everything is top notch and it’s a beautiful resort. The staff is super great.
Nice clean intimate in the perfect location with great service
Nice Scottsdale resort
Great resort I just prefer more food choices
Totally amazing experience!!
Great location!
Great service!
Amazing place the spa is the best place we have seen in the world
Outstanding service. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially Antonio in the main restaurant. The views of Camelback Mountain are great. The pool areas were so nice with comfortable chairs and umbrellas for shade as needed. Spent a relaxing afternoon soaking up the sunshine and warmth by the Oasis pool with a great food and drinks menu. Our room (pool side) was roomy, comfortable, and clean. My husband and I had a couples massage and enjoyed them very much. Great massage therapists. Convenient area to hop in your car and sightsee or visit Old Town. The food was great as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
Worn out
Mention was in the 19 building and old and tired. Bed was creaky and uncomfortable as were the old pillows. The room was dusty and needed a good cleaning. Not the best experience.
Limited dining options
Quiet and peaceful
We did a girls trip here for a joint birthday and can’t say enough great things. We went to the spa and stayed there for an entire day. Incredible massage, great facilities, excellent food!
This was a beautiful property with friendly staff and excellent food.
5 star plus
We loved it. Very spacious, warm and everyone that worked there was kind and helpful
We loved our stay! Incredible views from the pool area.
The staff was phenomenal! The property was very calming and had Beautiful outdoor areas with multiple fire pits. The pool’s were pristine. It was a nice getaway! Looking forward to doing it again (the only downside was the parking)
5 stars across the board. Amazing decor and attention to detail, all restaurants and bars excellent, guest services and staff outstanding, and rooms exceptionally clean. The definition of what the resort experience should be.
It was beautiful and relaxing! Staff was amazing!
It was a lovely experience
Everything
I had a great experience
A little dated overall but service staff was awesome. So fire sly and helpful.
Visibility of Camelback Mt was delightful
Amazing hotel and staff
We had been delayed by American Airlines for 5 hours and were scrambling to find a last-minute hotel. Every single employee that we met at the Omni that night was very kind and extremely helpful. Our waiter Jonathan in the restaurant took such good care of us and just made us feel so welcome. I’ll be definitely staying here again!
Excellent retreat to relax and go to the spa
Excellent experience!
Such excellent customer service! Everyone on property was so friendly. My only complaint was the high prices for food and beverages on site, but the spa was worth EVERY PENNY.
The property was pretty but too large for my liking. We were in building 12 and it was a good walk from the valet parking. I also did not expect to pay for parking considering the prices to stay there. The restaurant was nice but would have liked to seen more choices on the menu for american dishes rather than several southwest options. Overall it was good.
Beautiful property and very good service.
Staff! Staff!
Loved the very friendly staff, they were always making sure you had everything you need. The property was very clean and relaxing. We liked that it was walking distance to camel back mountain, what a great hike that is!
Lovely stay, centrally located.
Like the look of the resort and the low rise hotel rooms
The property is nice but needs attention. Much of the exterior of the property could use a coat of paint. The stairwells to the parking garage had cigarette butts on the ground that were never swept up during our week stay and the stairwells could use a good pressure washing. If you stay on the first level, you can hear the occupants above walking in their room above which became annoying when trying to go to sleep.
Relaxing resort. Very nice experience.
Absolutely loved this place! Just booked another stay here
Overpriced rooms, small space, limited dining options especially on New Year’s Eve, overpriced spa and not many amenities.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It was relaxing and wonderful!
Unique architecture, well kept property.
The property was beautiful and the staff was fantastic!
The hotel was exceptional and i loved the adult pool. It was off season and it was very quiely. The rooms were large, clean.and spacious. Great dining options. The staff were professional, kind and helpful. Exceptional view of camelback mountain
We love the location. Our room was clean and quiet. Coffee shop was great. This was our 2nd time here and we enjoy the villa style rooms with a patio.
My solo stay here was amazing
Great service. Beautiful property. Comfortable bed!
Amazing campus, but thin walls, I could hear all the conversations from the room next door
I would absolutely visit this hotel again! It has such a beautiful feel to it from the time you pull up to the time you, regretfully, are leaving.
Good resort but super expensive...
The stay was short bur sweet. The resort was clean and the room was beautiful. The only thing was i reserved a room with a balcony but received on a first floor. But it was still beautiful. The prices are super hugh though, they already put 20% for gratuity and put tips even afterwards, which is unprofessional. My waiter accidentally wrote 25%and i had to point out the mistake. The $150 fee for whatever can be refunded, just make sure you don't charge it to your room. I checked out the prices for the spa and they are through the roof. I get the resory is expensive on its own but the spa prices will make you double over. I won't be returning.
Thanksgiving in Scottsdsale
Pros: self parking, room clean and spacious. Bathroom nice size. Cons: husband called several days before about Thanksgiving dinner, left message, no one bothered to call him back. Stayed three nights and no one came to clean, property starting to look a little worn out. Alarm clock went off at 6:00 am the first morning….when cleaning room for new people this should be looked at.
Great staff service we felt very welcomed!
Omni Montelucia & Prado
Once again, an amazing stay at Omni! Always so welcoming and accommodating and finding ways to go above and beyond. For this slightly longer stay we were able to have dinner twice at Prado and it was nearly like being welcomed back by family. Oliverio took care of us in every way and, as always, found the perfect balance of serving and conversing and welcoming that we look forward to and have come to expect from the amazing staff of Prado. Always good to see Adam and the rest of the staff. Even meet the new GM Andrew as he was greeting the guest on property. We always leave looking forward to our next little getaway to the Omni!
Fantastic stay
The staff was friendly and responsive. But the resort is somewhat tired, with rusting steps and rooms in need of regular maintenance. We had to change rooms due to a musty smelling mattress, and second room had leaky faucets and low water pressure but we stuck with it due to a better view as staff gave us an upgrade for our troubles which we appreciated. Pools nicely heated and swimmable in November and sauna area very nice. In resort restaurants, while pricey, offered very good food. Location not close to eateries so we depended on our rental car for travel.
Beautiful peaceful resort family friendly
Great place, great services will be back 😉
Mountain View Lovely area
Beautiful property, well-maintained, friendly staff
Very beautiful resort
Beautiful view and properly decorated so relaxing
Solid spot
Gorgeous location and top-shelf service. Bed and room could use a refresh for the rates paid. I’d probably stay again.
Great place to relax
Beautiful grounds and property surrounded by beautiful views
Wonderful
Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia | Home in Paradise Valley | Travala.com
The Omni spa and the spa pool were the highlight of the resort. Very beautiful spa! We bought the Joya signature scent spray. We did notice that at the Oasis pool the empty dirty glasses from the night before were all around the pool and hot tub. We called at noon to ask to have staff come clean up. The valet guys were very helpful. I enjoyed our ground floor room by the adults only pool but upon arrival we did have to ask for a new chaise cushion (it was ripped and stained). The bathroom in our room was lovely. Huge shower. A few tips, turn off the pool music at 10pm when pool is closed it plays loud all night. Also if service is closed at the oasis pool then have staff from the other pool take menu orders (we had to call and request and were told no service was available). Overall we loved the views of Camelback, we will be back next year!
