Overall Great experience

As a first-time visitor to Cyprus, I selected this hotel for its convenient location near Paphos Airport. The experience was memorable, with both impressive highlights and a few areas for potential improvement. From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff were outstanding. Consistently pleasant and proactive, they went above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. Their attentiveness and willingness to help created a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhanced my stay. The room was immaculately clean and initially very comfortable. One minor drawback was the nighttime temperature; with the hotel's heating system turned off for the season, I found the room quite chilly during the evening hours. The dining was truly exceptional. The restaurant offered: - Fresh, high-quality ingredients - An impressive variety of dishes - Beautifully presented meals that were as visually appealing as they were delicious The attention to detail in the food preparation and presentation was remarkable, making each meal a highlight of my day. As someone who carefully selects hotels based on fitness amenities, the gym was unfortunately the weakest link with Multiple issues apparent: - Several pieces of exercise equipment were broken, no air conditioning in the gym area, repeated staff notifications had not resulted in necessary maintenance, equipment appeared worn and poorly maintained and no cleaning supplies for post-work out machine sanitisation. A simple investment in equipment would help

Stayed in a lot of hotels in Paphos mainly on AI basis. Thus has topped the lot so far and with an array if food choices which didnt feel like rinse and repeat it was a nice surprise each day seeing what was different in the menu. The staff however made the difference for experience and couldnt do enough for you that everyone was there to give you the best experience that makes you want to return. Great evening shows from All Star teams and premium drinks on offer.

The hotel was very welcoming with high standards of housekeeping, great buffet food offering, that was varied & themed. The deserts where a triumph. The staff where all great, courteous, smiley & warm. We would recommend any one to stay although we were out of season, swimming was available but we realise that using the pools may risk hypothermia due to the time of year. But great facilities

A great stay with a slight downside

A luxurious hotel with friendly service & staff. The location was perfect with the seafront within easy reach & the town of Paphos a pleasant 30 min walk away. My only complaint is that the buffet food was not hot enough.

it was a brilliant stay. Nothing negative to say and will wholeheartedly recommend. Special mention to the staff who work tirelessly to make your stay comfortable... There is not much to do in Paphos otherwise for people who like outings during the day time. However the hotel makes the stay memorable.

Just the perfect hotel, very friendly staff, good food, 20 min from Paphos Airport. Paphos archaeological site is only 25 min away, well worth a visit. Beautiful promenade - going on for miles, great for running and walking. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The absolute best aspect of this hotel is the staff who without exception were knowledgeable, helpful, approachable, friendly and courteous. The food was amazing. My room was immaculate. Communal areas always clean and tidy. Service excellent. I cannot praise this hotel enough. Well done to an excellent team at one of their busiest times.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, staff are excellent they really made our stay truly exceptional, everyone from the reception team, bar & restaurant team, entertainment and spa team were amazing. Food is fantastic, the entire hotel is immaculate and the location perfect.

Last minute break in Cyprus

A great break in Paphos at an excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful with excellent service across the entire hotel. We enjoyed the quality of the food and drinks, very good for an all inclusive hotel.

Excellent throughout!

Great hotel however chilling the pools is something that would make it great. They are so warm and so hard to cool down anywhere when temperatures are high. Felt a little like there were too many people for the hotel capacity overall and many night you can’t get in to see the show as it’s full. Lovely food and rooms. Staff very helpful

The place is absolutely wonderful. It is like being on a cruise ship, food all day and every good, shows at night, service was wonderful, will certainly come again

A great luxury all inclusive hotel!

A really great hotel with very friendly and kind staff throughout, excellent food and drink in unlimited quantities and lovely comfortable rooms. The buffet is great we was the Garibaldi Italian fine dining restaurant and the American diner. Only a 15-20 min scenic walk along the promenade or short drive to the town centre/port and amazing Archeological Park too. Loved the cocktails and outdoor seating areas with fires to keep you warm even on cooler winter evenings. Highly recommended!

The entirety of the hotel and what it offers is superb. The food was fresh with many options to choose from. The location is brilliant with access to the coastal pathways. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and will be booking again for this year.

A really great experience!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Food was particularly impressive for all-inclusive - lots of choice and fresh food on offer at every meal and never a wait for service in the restaurants or bars.

Amazing place

The Olympic Lagoon was amazing from beginning to end. It was like being on a cruise ship with whatever you needed at your fingertips. The food was wonderful, different menus each day, and the service extremely friendly and helpful.

5* luxury

What a super hotel, everyone and everything was perfect, we got a free upgrade to the adult only part of the hotel, which was just perfect for what we needed, ( do nothing ! ). Hats off to everyone, keep up the good work, if I had to say something could be better, I would say the chill out part of the Spa could be improved and maybe a bit more private, but I’m nit picking here

There are a lot of great things about this hotel - friendly staff, great food, nice pools. The problem is that there was no climate control and the hotel room was too hot for sleeping. Room was >25 degrees at night and there was no way to cool it down, as the HVAC has been set to "heat only" for the off-season. The outside temperatures this time of year are typically 19-20 degrees, but a concrete building retains a lot of heat and is far warmer than the outside temperature, especially when the HVAC is set to heat only. Tried leaving the patio door open to cool down the room, but was kept awake by noise, room was light at 6 AM, and was bitten by mosquitoes. The primary function of a hotel room is to provide a comfortable and restful sleep; the hotel was a failure at this. I'd left exhausted after not getting a decent night sleep during the stay. I brought this to the attention of the front desk twice, and they basically said too bad, it's heat only. Very frustrating as this would have been a 5 star review if it was possible to set the temperature to get a decent night sleep.

Good hotel for families, few connecting rooms

The hotel is pleasant and a good option for traveling with kids. Plenty of activities and entertainment options. The food is tasty and varied. Do not plan on booking connecting rooms, as according to the receptionist, they do not have many of these.

Lovely resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was very good and plentiful. Also liked the music entertainment and spa.

Hotel was lovely but think at night time in the lounge area service was slow as had to wait 20 minutes for a drink

Great hotel nice staff. Pools a little cold

Only 2 of the advertised 5 restaurants were open. Therefore this was missold. No room upgrades or any benefits available despite the hotel being half empty. Room over looked a roof of an outbuilding and nothing else. Worst room experience ever I would not return and felt this was poor value for money.

I stayed at the hotel a few days before Christmas. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean (turn down service in the evening was a nice touch) and the food was fantastic! The main restaurant and the American diner were open whilst I was there, and I cannot fault them on the food at all, lots of options and all of it delicious. If I had to pick anything as a fault, it would be the temperature of the pools, they're not heated, so you would occasionally hear gasps and muffled screams from guests who were brave enough to take the plunge. I will certainly return here!

The resort itself was beautiful. We were able to stay in the adults only section, and the pool was lovely. Our room was on the bottom floor, and there were ants in the bathroom which was frustrating. The service was great, except for trying to get restaurants booked for our short stay. The communication from the guest services should have been a lot more clear to us prior to our arrival. There were some awesome beaches easily accessible close to the resort, but the beach that belonged to the resort was not nice.

Fantastic stay in Adult’s Only section

A fantastic trip - beautiful room right by the adults only pool and staff were particularly superb throughout. Food was excellent

Stated there with our 7 year old daughter. She loved the kids academy, which gave us a chance to enjoy some “us” time. Food was really nice and the entertainment was even better! We all loved the magic show, especially afterwards all the children were able to pet the rabbits and take pictures.

Except for a minor hiccup which was rectified overall I will say that was stay was great and will recommend this resort to my friends.

Amazing place. Stuff is very nice. Rooms are big and very clean. Some if the special restarunts are closed during the winter (Italian was opened and was great). They just need to be more clear and slecify that drinks in the bar cost money after 11pm and service to the room is charged as well. Value for money is very good, highly recommended!

Lovely one night stay room excellent nice towels and crisp bed sheets. Good selection of food, although it would be nice to have 1 Main Veggie Dish but still enough to eat if Vegetarian. Nice how couples are seated away from the families, and there is a bar that children have to be left at a decent time. Good location to Paphos town. Will definitely visit again. Thank you

Good hotel

Great hotel, good food, good service. We were upgraded to sea view and it was amazing. The only thing i didn't like was the SPA treatment which wasn't professional. I will be back

Brilliant Friendly 1 week holiday

The first and last thing you'll remember about the Olympic are the staff, you could not possibly get any better. Working hard, always around asking if you needed anything. Thanks to all of you, I hope you read this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. There were plenty of food options and the cocktails were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Would have just been a pretty building in a pretty place, but then the staff turn it into an amazing place. The service was good all round. Those in the restaurants, the cleaners, front desk, porters. Everyone. An initial room issue was swiftly solved to our total satisfaction. On A boat trip, the captain, explaining about some of the hotels while sailing past, mentioned this as the best. Food was good and plentiful. Everything was clean. Hard to find anything to complain about.

Very relaxing; fine quality food and drinks; luxurious setting and polite and helpful staff. Could have communicated better about the facilities, as we sometimes had to find out about all that was on offer for ourselves. Cocktail lists, menus, entertainment etc

What an amazing week here with the family. Food was lovely, service was perfect, facilities and entertainment great. Lots to do for the children, even the adult entertainment was good. Lots of entertainment day and night for both adults and kids. We’ll be returning regularly that’s for sure.

Great Holiday!

Returning guest, had an absolutely brilliant time! The staff were excellent as always and could not do enough to help! Food in all of the restaurants was exceptional. The overall cleanliness of the hotel, and COVID safety measures were both excellent. All this accompanied by the excellent weather made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Incredible stay

Maybe a good 4*

Hotel was clean and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable but balcony was quite small and overlooked a concrete roof with other blocks in front so wasn’t welcoming if you wanted to sit out of a morning or evening. The food was very nice and a good selection at the main buffet but we were unable to book any of the other restaurants as they were all fully booked for the duration of our stay which I feel was unfair as this was one of the main features of why we booked this hotel. The atmosphere around the pool was very hit and miss...sometimes there was music sometimes not. The evening entertainment was brilliant and very well presented by all. Great team and shows.

This is one of the best run "suitable for family" hotels that i have ever stayed in. The staff are all friendly and work tirelessly to keep everything stocked, refreshed and clean throughout the property. They do this so well that it seems effortless, which of course it isn't. Can't recommend highly enough.

The Perfect Hotel for all Kind of Guests

We are a family of nine, including 5 years old to 80 years old, and we all enjoyed this resort very much. The resort facilities are excellent, but the main thing is the staff! We must specify the excellent services that we got from Anthoulla Christou the Guest Services Manager and from Valentin the Manager in Duty. Thank you Anthoula & Valentin! You are the Best!

great resort on the beach

The hotel was outstanding last year but this year lacked the wow factor, the staff excellent as always, food was not as good quality, which spoilt the experience, social distancing was not great. Hope the hotel bounces back next year to is original slender, quality and high standards.

This isn't truly a 5 star hotel, and the price point (when you take into account the all-inclusive food and drink) reflects this. At a 5 star hotel you get nicer food, slightly better service and much better wine, you just have to pay for it on top. Staff were all nothing less than polite and helpful, except for one instance. The spa allows access (with no treatments) but it's only bookable in 1 hour slots. The lady on reception spoke to me like I was an absolute weirdo for coming out after 25 minutes. There's only so long I need when all you have is a sauna and a steam room... We stayed here with realistic expectations about what we would get, and those expectations were met. It's decent. Would I stay here again? No I would ideally pay more for my holiday and stay in a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely amazing please. We loved every second of it. It’s a shame that we only stayed for 4 nights. I would’ve loved to stayed more.

Christmas Break

This is our favourite hotel in Paphos. There is always a warm welcome from the very friendly staff. The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious and the facilities are excellent. The Christmas eve Gala Dinner was very good quality with a vast selection of hot and cold dishes.

The staff was very friendly always going beyond and above to satisfy the client.

Great Resort

The resort was very clean, the food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue w the air conditioning and the front desk sent someone up from Maintenance within min. We would definitely stay there again.

This is our second time ... And it was just as amazing as the first. The staff are wonderful .. Ava who is front of house and the bar manager on the pool bar ... A la carte restaurants are wonderful ... We stay in 5* resorts across the world .. And this is one of the best ... Great balance of relaxing atmosphere ... More like a basic 4* - not without its flaws

Upgraded to a full sea-view on check-in which was a nice touch. Rooms very clean and serviced well, toiletries top notch. No iron in the rooms - there is a communal ironing room on the ground floor meaning you need to take your clothes there to iron then back to your room to get ready. Room service not really reliable or promoted, they prefer you to go and eat at the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service menu is only for breakfast and anything cooked costs extra, free if you go and eat at the buffet. Buffet was very good indeed for buffet food, a different theme every night, pizza and chips is available almost every day in addition to some more fancy options. There seemed to be roast pork on most nights which wasn’t a problem just would have preferred roast chicken and beef more often. Breakfast included cooked omelettes to your taste. It wasn’t clear on allergens in the food, it was pretty much a guess on the ingredients. Staff are friendly enough, but the guests were another story. The majority of guests are young families with noisy children, and some with even noisier parents, tattooed up to their eyeballs and needing cigarettes every 2 mins at the pool even though it’s clearly a non-smoking resort. Dirty looks and whispers handed out by the dozen which really detracted from the whole 5* all-inclusive experience. If you’re looking for a quiet get-away, look elsewhere. On the whole a very nice hotel, but could have been better.

Good location , very clean and well maintained, great staff and very family friendly resort. However food could be improved and more variety should be added like Chinese and Indian cuisine.

Outstanding 5* Hotel, BUT

Outstanding 5* Hotel, BUT Although we found the Hotel a 5* with an Excellent Location, Staff, Food, Service and Bedroom etc. BUT there are lots of very off-putting situation. We were very surprised to find lots of Very Large Family Groups, Stag & Hen Parties who dictated the overall Loud Atmosphere in the Buffet style Dining Room, Lounging areas etc. with lots of young children running around “Everywhere” and all times, even in the Adult Evening Entertainment areas at 10pm with very little or no control by parents. Additionally Hired Disabled Electric Scooters “Racing Around” dangerously various public areas, often by what appears to be Associates/Children of the Disabled who often themselves seen “Walking” about OK! The Supposedly Adults only lounge bar was very noisy, so no quiet areas to sit and relax quietly, other then ones Bedroom, although one night Guest running around corridors noisily at 4:00am! Would we stay again? Very Reluctantly NO!

Nothing I write can do this amazing resort justice. Just come back from what’s been an amazing week at OLP and can’t fault it one bit. To say the place is awesome is an understatement from the kind and attentive staff to the cleanliness of the hotel, nothing was ever to much. They certain set the bar high and run a tight ship . Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly, the food is flavoursome and plentiful not to mention the children’s own buffet. Most of the a la carts restaurants were closed due to the season but the few that were open were top notch with an easy to use booking system. The resort has everything you need , hence why we didn’t leave the resort throughout our stay. There was such a touch of class and elegance about OL which has set the bar very high. Already thinking of returning before the end of the year. Thank you all and Keep up the good work

A beautiful hotel about a 20 min walk along the seafront from Paphos harbour.

Rooms were big and very clean. Staff were amazing. Food the first week was great. The second week when busier was not as good.After booking we found out that some restaurants were closed and the night time entertainment was sparse.

Lovely hotel biggest Asset are the staff, very lovely and great customer service. The spa treatment was very lovely had an excellent relaxing body mssssge.

I took my wife aware for a surprised bday holiday to relax. We spent 5 nights all inclusive. The atmosphere in the outdoor area of the resort is calm and amazing. Feels so blissful. The hotel is clean and amazing in all ways. Great people work there, an amazing selection of food, great location and service was top. The entertainment every night was great and would love to return to the Kanika group resort or the new one they are building for adults only down the coast.

Just fabulous!!!

Overall was a great vacation for the whole family. We've enjoyed very much as well as the kids. Seems like they had figured out the secret ingredient for a perfect vacation and thought about every little thing and detail.
